I love Caviar and being of Eastern European decent I’ve enjoyed it most if my life. I purchased the “Reserve” white Sturgeon Caviar from Whole Foods was was extremely disappointed. All I tasted was salt!! The description for the type I purchased was “rich and buttery”. NOT!

I've been fortunate enough to eat at the best restaurants in the world where I was introduced to the best caviar in the world. Tsar Nicoulai exceeds what I've experienced at those restaurants and I am able to enjoy in my home with local, friendly, next-day delivery. It's delicious creamy flavors enhances every meal and occasion.

Had a minor shipping mishap that was promptly taken care of by Karla. Very happy with service and would purchase by mail again!

Gift Set ($129.99, got $30 off) *Vacuum sealed Caviar jar keeps 60 days unopened *24 - 48 hrs once opened (refrigerated or on ice) *2 oz. Jar, Serves 2-4 *Farmed Baerii Caviar (Product of Greece) *16 piece Blini (product of USA), 5 oz. Creme Fraiche (product of USA) I was off alcohol for a bit and wanted to ring in Easter with a little bubbly. What goes with bubbly?! Why caviar of course! When I saw this set was on sale at Costco, I decided to jump on it. The caviar was plenty for just me. Took me a few days to finish. The creme fraiche was sooo good. Rich, creamy, and slightly tart. Contrasted the caviar well. The blinis were fluffy and a good base for my bites. Since I like a few more accoutrements, I added red onion, egg white, egg yolk, and dill. Some bites I made with smoked salmon as well. Logistically, delivery worked out. But I actually chatted with Costco the Wed prior to confirm delivery since I hadn't gotten any kind of tracking info. (I had scheduled this to be delivered that Fri.) Costco ended up contacting Tsar Nicoulai for an update. Turns out they had me down for a delivery date of April 1st. So be careful if ordering thru Costco. I'd say follow up if you don't get a tracking notice. Great place to grab a caviar set.

I cannot say enough great things about this spot. Perfect place to sip on champagne and enjoy some amazing caviar while people watching. You mix in some good conversations with your significant other and you end up on a perfect date. Our waitress was very cordial and even surprised us with a free cheesecake for our anniversary. We'll definitely be back!

i personally didn't care for the caviar from this brand. doesn't even taste good imo.

My love for Truffle is more than any other food, but caviar filling that empty space when winter Truffle is not in season ;) You know how much it costs to order a Osetra caviar or California White Sturgeon Reserve at a fine dining restaurant? Think of $275 and if you are in Vegas, it'll be over $400 per OZ. Here it's only $130 per OZ, price do fluctuate but regardless what's a better way to entertain your guests on a special occasion. Tsar Nicoulai shows you how to prepare it at home. They even offer Blini, serving ware and etc, it's so perfect. From trout roe, salmon roe, paddlefish caviar, Israeli Caviar, Bulgarian Caviar, white sturgeon caviar, smoked sturgeon, smoked trout, and much more for you to choose. And roe starts at only $23 upward. So this Summer I'm all about Caviar for breakfast, lunch, dinner and in my home cooking dishes. So many ways you can increase the flavor of the drinks at just with a touch of caviar. And they also offer Truffle too, wow, I'm in love. Another reason what I love Tsar Nicoulai because I met Mr. Otto, 25 years long with Tsar Nicoulai. He is often be seen at Food & Wine festivals such as Pebble Beach Food & Wine, LA Food & Wine and at many nonprofits events. He was at the Music of The Spheres at the Grace Cathedral San Francisco, which I was on Honorary Board member. Tsar Nicoulai donated a caviar bar for us. They do more good for the community nationwide, for that I support this awesome company. I'm a fan. So spice up your events, spice up your life, because you are only live once.

I love this business, the best caviar in town. Family owned, family run, such a tight team. I would highly recommend this place, five stars!

Every Christmas eve caviar is on the menu for me and my guests. When I lived in SF it was easy to order from a local market but when I moved to the country that was not the case. When I discovered I could order on-line from Tsar Nicoulai I was thrilled. Alas, there were deliver glitches, which I attribute to FedEx (Yelp needs to create a "national" category for reviews for national companies like Fedex with whom I ALWAYS have problems. Customer service is not one of their concerns . . .). When the caviar had not arrived on the date promised, I called Tsar Nicoulai semi-hysterical--I needed the caviar Christmas eve, it was central to the meal--and it was now 12/23. Otto answered the "Caviar Emergency" line and was understanding and helpful--even offering to drive the caviar to me--easily an hour away, from Concord, CA where they are located. Not wanting to put him to that trouble, my husband picked it up. Otto included extra treats (and caviar) for our trouble. However, the original order and a subsequent one never arrived (despite FedEx claiming to have delivered). When I emailed Tsar Nicoulai just to let them know, they sent another package of caviar, sturgeon and smoked salmon. Everything was delicious, needless to say (I recommend the "Golden Reserve" caviar). Seif and Otto and could not have kinder or more helpful. I am a customer for life--you should be too!
