Tso Chinese Takeout & Delivery

Happy family meal the chicken was spoiled n the beef was uncook, the whole meal was nasty, I order like 9:45 pm , so probably gave us what was left from the whole day n put a meal together with the left over. as soon I taste the meal I threw it out of .y mouth. This is not right .

Ordered from here for the first time today and it was great! Delivered on time, good portion sizes for the price, and really flavorful. The rangoons were a bit soft but that’ll happen when packaged in plastic. They’re huge (4 in an order) and the flavor was excellent though—the best I’ve had! The bbq pork fried rice is huge and has a good amount of egg. Orange chicken is pretty good with the egg noodles. Not amazing but it doesn’t need to be. Definitely hit the spot! Will order from here again! Recommend ordering from their website directly instead of uber eats. Update: been ordering from here for a while now and it seems that the quality has gone down. The noodles are thick and chewy and the orange chicken sauce has this weird gloopy quality to it that I’ve never experienced before. I still like the rangoons and for the price and ease of ordering and no tip policy, I’ll probably still order from here but will stick to fried rice as they still do that fairly well.

Delivery was timely but the food itself was very disappointing. The crab ragoon were not cooked - hot but not crispy and inedible. The drunken noodles were delicious, the egg drop was ok but the spring rolls were seriously tiny like the size of a pinky finger. Really left a bad taste overall. This was the worse Tsos order we had ever experienced…

Good for delivery. Blue crab rangoons very good flavor. Easy to order and get for office lunch. The egg drop soup has lots of scallions very tasty.

Super fast service! I ordered at the counter and it was ready in less than 10 minutes, and food was hot & fresh. Hot & sour soup 4/5 - was honestly surprised that the flavor was pretty damn close. Not as good as first wok. Wish it had mushrooms. But not bad at all Wonton soup 3.5/5 - broth hit the spot. Wontons were alright Blue crab rangoon 3.5/5 Char siu bbq fried rice 4/5 - good flavor and portion. Need more meat! Im pretty picky with american-chinese food, but overall, this pretty satisfying chinese takeout 👍

I would 100% go to Tso Chinese Takeout & Delivery again! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for when you’re craving Chinese takeout. Ordering was super easy, and the food was ready fast, with great service to match. I'm not from Austin, but every time I visit, this spot is officially on my must-stop list. Highly recommend!

We’ve eaten here numerous times and it’s always amazing. The food is good and service and people are so kind. We will continue to order here, especially since they’re open at great hours to meet late night cravings.

There's no dine in, take out only. First time there, walked in and ordered on the tablet. If you order at the door you will have to wait at least 20 minutes for your food. I would order online for next time. The food was good.

L Combo lo mein is so big I feed myself and my 2 little kids, it's so super delicious, the chicken wings.. all I can say is yum yum, get in my belly. I'm so glad we found this take out place. Amazing food, fast delivery service, excellent notifications. Over all 100 percent amazing

Easy to order, easy to pick up, lots of rice, flavorful. Good price vs quality vs quantity. Simple ! For those who enjoy the no interaction at a business, this is the concept ! Place order online, follow the status (cooking, ready to pick up), park, pick up your order and go. Minimum interaction with the staff, who will hand you the order. I believe for that reason, there is a clear "no tipping policy"! Food was very warm, flavorful, balanced with broccolis. Not too oily, even the spring rolls. I'd definitely return for this type of restaurant concept ! Woohoo!

I am not sure which location our delivery comes from so I will leave a review for both. It was that bad the business deserves it. I have ordered from Tso's I would say 25 times if not more it's never great, but it's somewhere between edible and okay. It's just very convenient with delivery that makes it worth it sometimes. Unfortunately, not anymore. Whoever cooked the food today around this time should be fired 100%. All four items were just awful, not even edible. We got the world famous crab ragoons (world famous lol), tasted sour and microwaved, hope we don't get sick. Duck wings, about one bite of meat per wing and they are twice the size of average chicken wings, also seemed like the batter was boiled in water. General tsos shrimp, I am 90% sure they did not even fry them after they were dipped in the batter, I am really not kidding it tasted like eating pancake batter. Lastly, vegetable melody (just vegetables sautéed in sauce, $14 btw), how do you mess this up? Well, let me tell you, put 80% sauce and 20% vegetables and make it into the highest sodium stew/soup you will ever have in your life and don't forget to overcook the vegetables. The food has gotten worse the more I have ordered it over the past year and a half, but as mentioned at the top it's been edible. We threw todays order away after we realized everything was bad. I'm not sure if Ill risk blowing $65 on two take out meals ever again from Tso's. There are way too many options in Austin, 1618, 888, Tatsu-ya, etc. etc. etc. This was also not from the delivery so the cook can not blame it on that we had the food here in 30 minutes which is average. So whoever cooked the food don't use that excuse. Delivery is always great. You can see the pictures attached, 9 small shrimp for $16 and some very gross looking sautéed vegetables

We found this little spot when searching for a good asian takeout spot and we found this place. Im happy with the find because it has become our go to when we're craving some of that asian comfort foods like crab rangoons, egg rolls & potstickers. I ordered all that and some combo fried rice and spicy beef with noodles. They have these sesame balls that are so yummy that it kind of makes me crave some now! lol I always order those and egg rolls. I definitely recommend this spot, they're food is fresh and delicious. Their service is efficient and give you what you ask for. Always receive my food nice and hot. This is a takeout only location so its a small pick up area but all efficient and enough.

I will unfortunately not be able to order from Tso anymore, because twice now I've gotten very sick after eating the beef noodles. It was my favorite dish. It tasted good, the customer service was great, but for the second time I was very ill hours after eating and so I can no longer enjoy Tso.

Decent portion sizes. Hot food. I do have a sensitivity to gluten and got gluten free sauce and still did have a reaction. Not sure what happened there.

We ordered for takeout, so we missed out on the no delivery experience that everyone seems to love. Takeout was pretty seamless and quick. Ordered the following: Pork fried rice: my favorite of the three dishes we ordered and a huge portion. But, on the salty and oily side. Drunken noodles: too oily for my taste, and there wasn't as much meat as I was hoping for. Sesame chicken: ok, but wouldn't get again. Broccoli was soggy. Overall a convenient Chinese takeout place (definitely American Chinese food), but for the price I'm not sure I'll return.

Easy to order online and pay. Fast and ready when I arrived to pick up. The "world famous blue" crab rangoons were pretty large and super creamy. My wife didn't like them as much bc they were pretty crabby. I liked them but if you don't like creamy then I would skip them. At first bite, our food seemed bland. Then after a while the Char Siu BBQ Pork Fried Rice and Beef Lo Mein were pretty good and even better the second and third day when I reheated them. Probably because everything sat together and soaked up spices. The pork did have some fat on it. So if you like that, then cool. I do, but my wife - not so much. Will probably try again soon.

Consistently the best chinese delivery, if not the best food delivery in Austin. The website is state-of-the-art and let's you not only place an order easily, but track it from the kitchen to your door. Everything arrives hot and well-packaged. Most of all, it just does not taste like delivered food. It's that good.

I really had high hopes based on all the reviews, but Tso Chinese was really pretty mediocre in my opinion. Also, all 3 of the us who ate it that night had upset stomachs by the next morning. On the plus side, their pickup process is quite efficient.

Wow what a lunch! I ordered the drunken beef noodle and crab Rangoons. The Rangoons are filled to bursting and appear to be real crab meat! The entree is spicy and delicious, and a healthy 2 servings for leftovers. So glad I live close to tsos - they rock. My driver Weston was friendly while I wrangled my cat. No tipping due to competitive wage. I just love everything-can't wait to try more great food next time.

I've been craving good Chinese food ever since I moved to Austin in 2006. This is by far the best I've had. It far exceeded my expectations. Great veggie choices (I don't eat meat). Not the usual Americanized flavors. I had the Eggplant Tofu which had a delicious savory sauce, the Drunken Tofu Noodles which were delicious, and the Gai Lan (Chinese Broccoli) in White Sauce, also delicious. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it took about 2.5 hours for the food to arrive after I ordered. But this was on Xmas eve, so I chalked it up to the holiday. They apologized and gave me a partial credit for my order which was the right thing to do. I'll definitely try them again.

I totally recommend them. I just ordered delivery from them. It came in a timely manner right within the timeframe that they said it would. And this food is so delicious and fresh. It came piping hot! The driver was courteous. The sesame balls are out of this world! I recommend do it! Order from this place

So far I've only experienced their delivery service but everything about this place is worth it. The food is fresh & hot, delivery times fair and my family has enjoyed the four different levels of spicy on any dish.

we ordered takeout and the food was ready in like 10 min :o super fast and employees are nice crab rangoon: 8.2/10 | the wrapper is not as crispy as i'd like but the filling is plentiful and creamy and has a nice not overwhelming cream cheese taste w texture from green onions veggie delight: 7.4/10 | standard, a bit watery char siu fried rice: 7.0/10 | solid fried rice ! not much meat but it has a good smoky taste honey walnut shrimp: 6.8/10 | a bit soggy when we ate it but it tasted good :) just didn't love texture but granted it has been 20 min between receiving the food and eating it bc we had to drive home overall it was a good meal but kind of small portions. definitely beats panda express tho

Wow, this company really hit the nail on the head when it comes to good quality Chinese takeout. Fantastic easy-to-use app with order customizations? Check. "What you see is what you get" price tag with no hidden fees or tips required? Check. Wide variety of Chinese dishes that are all delicious and crafted with care? Check. Receive your food piping hot because of their efficient delivery service? Check. I've had a large variety of their offerings from their green beans to their noodles, from their sesame chicken to their honey walnut shrimp. Nearly everything tastes above average and you can tell the meat is of good quality. And I've ordered from them at least 5 times now. For delivery Chinese in ATX it's really good. The delivery is generally quick and it's always hot. We like the Happy Family, special fried rice, sesame balls are :-) yum! The kids like the orange chicken, lo main and sesame chicken. Overall it's a solid choice for Chinese delivery.

I'm originally from New York. Good Chinese food has been SO hard to find here. I ordered from here because of their strict no delivery fees and tipping. The food is fantastic and fresh and isn't at all greasy like some Chinese food. The crab rangoons are an absolute must. The noodle dishes are great. I've also tried a few tofu dishes and the tofu was the perfect texture and not over fried. My all time favorite dish here is the shrimp with lobster sauce.

Good was delivered fast and it's all automated to get a text when the order is received, prepped/cooked, and in transit (real time delivery location tracking)! I was staying at a hotel so I was able to send the driver a message and know exactly when his car pulled up. The food was solid for Chinese food and large portions. Was happy with it!

Found our self in south Austin and wanted to see if there was good Chinese food near here. Saw the review and wanted to check it out because we have been looking for General Tso's. We ordered Chicken Wings, General Tso 's Chicken, and beef lo mein. The beef lo mein was delicious. The chicken wings were ok, but a lot better when you used the duck sauce they gave us. Unfortunately the General Tso's wasn't exactly what we were looking for. It was a little dry and not enough spice. Will try this restaurant again and have different items to see how we like them. Still on the hunt for good General Tso's though.

Solid, cheap Chinese takeout can be hard to find in Austin, but Tso's is one of the best. Fantastic service, consistently good, fair pricing, and a wide variety of options on their menu. Their appetizers are my favorite part of the menu -- I often order 2-3 as a meal. Their green beans are perfection and I can't get enough of the dumplings and spring rolls. Their entrees are good -- large portions that taste fresh -- but often find their rice and noodles a bit dry and cakey, respectively. In all, this is a place I keep coming back to again and again. It's so easy to order online and pickup in store and I know I will have a consistent experience every time.

Terrible food and very slow delivery! Wish we had ordered take out Chinese from Chinatown or 1618 or anything this was so groosssss

i really had high hopes for tso but felt the food was underwhelming. i ordered a few dishes for dinner: egg rolls, crab rangoons, orange chicken, beef lo mein, pork fried rice. the egg rolls had very little filing and tasted bland. crab rangoons were filled with crab but the cream cheese was too thick. orange chicken tasted ok but could have been crispier. they also forgot to include the white rice with it. the beef in the lo mein was good but the noodles were overcooked and mushy. pork fried rice was probably the best dish but it needed more veggies. i love that you can place an order ahead of time and the portions were pretty large. but the flavors and textures just didn't hit for me. i had a ton of leftovers and just ended up tossing it all :/

Delivery was free and they were super quick. The food was so delicious the temperature, texture, and flavor were outstanding. Definitely my new go-to chinese restaurant, I recommend getting the Drunken Noodles, Fried Rice w/ Shrimp and the Blue Crab Rangoons. Great gluten free options, very convenient but does not sacrifice quality. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Food: Fresh, Delicious, Flavorful Service: initially said it would take 1.5 Hours for delivery but i was pleasantly surprised when it arrived within 40 mins. Would give five stars BUT i have to take a star away. The app didn't allow me to make any comments and the driver didn't have any hot mustard when he arrived. He said next time put it in the app. With that being said, will still order whenever i'm in Austin.

Tsoooo good! Every dish I've ordered has been outstanding and you can't beat free delivery. Noteworthy dishes: Drunken Noodle, which is better than 95% of the Thai places I've tried in Texas, only overshadowed by Super Thai on S. Lamar. Crab Rangoon: Holy s#!t, you guys. The wonton wrappers seem freshly made and not frozen, so they're tender and flaky, then there's actually real crab (not with a "k") in the dumpling. They call them "Famous" for a reason. Char Siu pork fried rice, gai lan (Chinese broccoli), and bok choy are all incredible, too.

Ordered delivery from them earlier this evening did everything online. It was surprisingly easy to use their site to order and have the food delivered. The food was amazing additionally for the amount of food the price was on point. Lastly was the delivery 20 minutes start to finish.

A flyer for Tso was left on my door, so I thought I'd give it a try. Oh my....I was so impressed with the food and fast delivery. I had Salt&Pepper Shrimp, egg drop soup, fried rice and the famous Crab Rangoon's. It was all beyond my expectations!!! I usually get egg rolls but decided to try the Rangoons - I will always order them from now on. The service was fast and the food was excellent! (5)

I'm so glad to have delicious reliable Chinese delivery now. Being home after surgery I am limited with what I can make for myself, and Tso always hits the spot. It's nice to be able to track the order and easily contact the driver if needed. I love that the veggies aren't over cooked - always bright and a bit crunchy.

Food was good for take out. A tad pricey, but not terrible. Location was clean and staff friendly. Would try again.

***Note to self - take the pictures of the food before you eat it! *** They have an adequate menu with both vegan and meat options. I was a little disappointed they do not offer Thai coconut curry soup. The eggplant dish was WONDERFUL and they do provide a pretty ample amount of food for the soups and dishes. *This is the second time I've ordered from here and the price has (expectedly) gone up since the first time but that did not compromise the taste of the food itself or the delivery time. ($$ to $$$) For the eggplant dish and two bowls of soup came out to about $40 (this is merely a note/fyi from the inflation price difference); whereas before, I ordered two dishes and two bowls of soup for about $30 total. *As a bonus, they do not use third party delivery services so it comes straight from the restaurant! The delivery time is less than what the site says. Of course, I'd rather be told it's coming later than promised earlier from any restaurant. *It is very good food but does not have as many options as other Asian Cuisine places offer. Nonetheless, give it a go! It's still good Cuisine but if you're looking for something specific - like I was with the coconut curry soup - they may not have it. And as I said, I will definitely be ordering from Tso again and add photos I did pick this place because when I am not feeling well, asian, especially Thai Cuisine always hits the spot. It could have been a little spicier so maybe I'll ask for that next time. The portions of the bowls of soup are plentiful. *Although I was not feeling well, when they came to the door I asked the driver to please set the food down because I didn't know why I was sick. He kindly set the food down on a surface instead of the cold concrete porch which I thought was very respectful.

Fast, consistent, delicious, and huge value. Only 15 mins for takeout every time and even if the delivery is quoted long, I get it faster than the quote more often than not. Great stuff.

The flavor of the Sesame Chicken sauce was good, but the chicken itself was overcooked and just plain chewy; and had zero crunch to it. It was also mostly just dark chewy meat, very little white. Disappointing considering the high price for the food, and the restaurant having such high ratings. It was below average at best; I couldn't even finish it.

It was fine until it wasn't. The food was decent and it was ready for pickup quick. However, something in the general tsao chicken and the dumplings gave me food poisoning/salmonella poisoning. Will not be going back. Too bad you can't get a refund when something like this screws up your whole body.

This place has really good food, a lot of gluten free options. They can make almost any of their dishes gluten free, which is awesome! We had the Chicken & Broccoli and the Salt & Pepper Shrimp. Both were fresh and yummy. Only negative is that delivery times can be very long. The ordering system is informative and provides estimated delivery time and status....Note that the food gets cooked right before they deliver, so don't worry if your status doesn't change until that time right before pickup. Because of that, the food arrived hot and almost as good as a restaurant.... Absolutely hit this place up for a great Chinese Food meal. Tip: The ordering system allows you to change your order up until the order starts cooking. So, just get your order in to get in the cue, and then finalize any changes during part of the wait time up until they start cooking..

Hate to give low star review but I'm doubting authenticity of the positive reviews. I was on time pick ing up the food and they were very fast. If ur looking for fast food, this is ur place. I'd Ur looking for quality or even decent food, stay far away. Sadly we bought food for the whole week since our stove is broken and waiting on parts. Now we're stuck eating this fro food for the rest of the week. I wouldn't feed my pets this food. Super greasy... no flavor... even eggplant didn't taste good... uve got to really suck to screw up ‍
