"Founded in 2003 in Tokyo, tsukemen (dip ramen) restaurant Tsujita opened its first location in Los Angeles in 2011 — and was known for its long waits. Now open in Fort Lee, where it serves takoyaki and kaarage in addition to ramen." - Melissa McCart, Robert Sietsema

The food was good and tasty, but I wasn’t satisfied when we finished. I liked the fresh seafood in the rice bowl, but the portion was very small. Tonkatsu ramen was warm and tasty, but left an oily aftertaste. The takoyaki was great. For two people who don’t have big appetites, these 3 were not enough food.

I love Japanese food and couldn't wait to try this restaurant. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into a cute restaurant and was sat and greeted. I ordered: Fried Chicken Karaage Plant Based Bao Creamy Crab Croquette Seasoned Edamame Ebi Katsu Curry Ebu Katsu Udon Vegetable ramen I really loved the bao, chicken and udon the most! The food was really good and super affordable! I also loved they cook the food really close by! All in all it was a good experience!

Little ramen shop near the GW Bridge. Inside, seat yourself and you can order from the server or the table code. The gyoza - deep fried, not just fried. Make a note of that- I don't like it that deep fried, just pan fried. The ramen, tried three kinds: - original regular tonkatsu was good, a little bland pork broth and the slices of pork were good; reasonably well balanced and flavor was ok but not as rich as others I've had, with thin noodles. - miso regular - far too much sesame oil. I had to sop it off in order to even taste anything other than sesame oil. Underneath, thin noodles, corn, seaweed, and chopped pork. Totally misbalanced even after taking off most of the sesame oil and trying to taste the meager amount of miso here. - the deluxe tsukemen - all the ingredients to the side, you dip, and eat. Super fatty pieces of pork (really can eat only half of it) and wonderful Ajitama egg done properly, with thick noodles. Very fishy - heavy smoked bonito flavor which was overdone; they could have done much less and made it a hint which would have been much better. Overall not a great ramen style for me; the best part was the noodles, which were very good on their own in style; just needed better broth. Service was ok; server missed bringing out warm water and had to call people over for attention- apparently most people go introvert and use the QR codes instead.

We came here to try/see the Hololive x Tsujita collab. Food was surprisingly really good. I also tried tsukemen (bf ordered it). I was skeptic about it at first, but it was so flavorful. I highly recommend it!! I had spicy tonkatsu ramen and it is one of the best tonkatsu ramen I had :3 I’ll try more food next time!!

Me and my friend came in for dinner and everything about this place was fantastic. Food was amazing and we would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting good food. Service was phenomenal and dtaff were extremely friendly. Overall this place was very welcoming and just a blast to spent time in

Google
Many Ramyun store in Fort Lee NJ Area. My go to place used to be Batten Ramyun in fort lee. I tried Tsujita because of Lunch special sign from window display. Glad that i tried new place. Donkotsu ramyun usually has some smell because of how they make soup. This place was different. Almost no bad smell but very flavorfull. It became my favorate Ramyun place and took many of my friends and family. Staffs are nice but little slow compare to Korean stores. Parking is free but half blocks away. Try their sampler also. Overall. A+

Google
It was a wonderful experience, fasts service and very respectful. Their Chashu Ramen was absolutely delicious and their Karage was sublime. But the cherry on top was their Fondant Chocolate was truly outstanding, the chocolate was rich and honestly the best cake I've had in ages.

Carrie G.

Yelp
Ordered take out from here and was impressed! At first, I was skeptical because this had Korean food on the menu. But we ordered two tonkotsu ramens and there were both delicious! The broth was creamy and not too salty which is the problem I have with most ramen places. The noodles were perfectly al dente. The tonkatsu was delicious and they even packaged the seaweed in a wrap so that it doesn't get soggy. The place was super clean and modern. Will definitely want to try eating htere one time next time! Staff was super nice.

Yelp
Service: 4.2/5 Food: 4.1/5 Busy place. Offered us a wait time that was much longer than the actual. Offered to split our group instead of waiting 7 more minutes for a larger table that we eventually moved to. Honestly, I think they could've fit more tables with the amount of space they have inside. What I Ordered: - Champon Nabe Ramen: creamy, sweet, warm + comforting. VERY Hot

Ming M.

Yelp
The manager explained to me that the dipping noodles tsukemen have more of a fishy taste and if you expect traditional ramen, she recommends the tonatsu or miso ramen that is easier to eat than the dipping noodles. I really appreciated trying something new instead of just the usual few places in Fort Lee that go to all the time. The pickles are excellent and come with every bowl of noodles. Give this place a try! It's conveniently located near the bridge, Hudson Lights.

Yelp
So I had a bad experience ordering takeout. I finally made it in to give this place a shot in person. It's so much better dining in. The service was great and the food even better. I remembered when they were opening that there was a delay in takeout service so I now realize that it's not meant to be taken out. They also have some great vegan options dining in. I'm goin back again this week it was so good. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I recently visited Tsujita , and it's safe to say my expectations were not just met--they were exceeded. From the moment we walked in, the experience was incredible. We started with the appetizers, and they were nothing short of exquisite. The chicken was perfectly crispy, bursting with flavor in every bite. Pairing it with the cucumber salad was a genius move--the refreshing crunch of the salad complemented the rich flavors of the chicken beautifully. Then came the ramen--oh my goodness! I'm so glad I went with the waitress's recommendation. I had the seafood ramen, and my wife ordered the miso ramen. Both dishes were distinct in flavor yet equally satisfying. The broth in each bowl was rich and perfectly seasoned, while the noodles were cooked to absolute perfection.

Joe C.

Yelp
nice trendy place - the ramen was good too. Great addition to the fort lee food space. a little pricey but that's expected for a new ramen place that's opened compared to the others. definitely worth checking out

Yelp
Very cute place. The first things you notice are the ipad checkin (which you don't need on a slow night) and the even cuter claw machines. We were surprised to even see Naruto on a projector lol I really liked the food; but I feel like the creamy crab croquette needed salt. Deluxe tsukemen was very delicious and filling, I ended up asking for the extra broth at the end and taking it home. Definitely all fat when I took it out the fridge the next day, makes it rich, but it was all solid. But the thing is, the flavor is 100/10 Service is questionable. We asked for a water and she definitely acknowledged us, she came with water, but gave it to the next table over. She wasn't doing anything but waiting for the next order to come in I guess? But water came at the very end of the meal. We asked for beef curry for takeout... we opened the box the next day (today), it's shrimp. Well then.

Yelp
Really, really good Tsukemen / Ramen in Fort Lee and possibly some of the verrrry best in all of northern NJ. We randomly found this restaurant in Fort Lee for an early Sunday lunch and strolled in a few minutes after they opened their doors at 11AM. Shockingly, there were already a few tables occupied and, seemingly, even eating already! Having walked in just past 11AM, we thought we were the early birds, but I guess other families had the same idea we did. Apparently having been open for about only 1.5 years, the restaurant was very nice and sleek inside and actually part of the same building as the iPic theater. Luckily, since we arrived so early, we easily snagged a table, but within 30 minutes of our arrival the restaurant was already at capacity - and it wasn't even 12pm yet! As for the menu, as you already assume, Tsukemen and Ramen are the main highlights and the Tsukemen is probably the most popular item. And, if you order the deluxe versions of the Tsukemen and Ramen, you pretty much get all of the major ingredients added into your bowl - so we HAPPPPILY obliged to order the Deluxe Tsukemen and Deluxe Tonkotsu and also ordered the Kids Meal for our kids, which itself was very unique too. First, we did order the Takoyaki appetizer, which was pretty good. Also, we ordered the Cucumber Salad. At first, I had my reservations about ordering the salad, but boy was I glad we did because it was so addictively good. It was light, refreshing and pickled to perfection. I can't believe I'm saying this, but from our entire meal, if I had one recommendation, it would be to order the Cucumber Salad - hands down! My wife ended up with the Deluxe Tsukemen (Thick Noodle, Lime, 3 Seaweed, Pork Belly 4pc, Ajitama Egg, Spicy Takana On The Side Pork Based Broth With Fish Flavor - Inside Of Soup (Green Onion, Menma, Chopped Pork) and I had the Deluxe Tonkotsu (Thin Noodle, Green Onion, Woodear Mushroom, Seaweed, Pork Shoulder 40g, Ajitama Egg, Spicy Takana On The Side). In all honesty, I love the idea of Tsukemen, but I wasn't a huge fan of the broth for the one that Tsujita served. It was a bit too "gamey" for me, however the noodles were fantastic and the Pork Belly slices were some of the most deliciously fatty pieces of Pork Belly I've everrrrr, everrrr had. Not only were they so tasty, but the pieces were absolutely huge. The Ajitama Egg was also great as well. On the other hand, I thought the Deluxe Tonkotsu broth was PERFECTTTT. Ramen was fantastic like the Tsukemen and the broth was so flavorful and, shamefully, I almost drank the whole bowl of broth because it was so good. The Pork Shoulder was also very good as well. They didn't come close to the size of the Tsukemen's Pork Belly slices, but, nevertheless filling. As for the Kids Meal, it was creatively served in an airplane/rocket-designed plate. GENIUS to be honest. Our kids were enamored with it and our son devoured the noodles in it, so, obviously he loved the noodles and broth. It was also served with Kaarage Fried Chicken and Edamame, which they also ate. Tsujita was a nice surprise for a random lunch we had in Fort Lee. This is definitely one of those establishments that I can totally see us coming back to, albeit just as early though considering how busy they were our 1st time.

Yelp
It's alright and a good option for tsukemen if you haven't had it before. Been here about 3x, my opinion went down each time. Tsukemen is served with generous enough noodle and addon portions, but most of the time, the dipping soup comes out lukewarm with the cold noodles instead of boiling hot. Severely impacts the flavor and texture. Yubu and karaage are avg. to good, ramen is also OK flavor but I have been here with a party of 6 - one person's tonkotsu was ridiculously salty and another was bafflingly bland and underseasonunderseasoned. Service is ok to nonexistent. The online pay to order takes a lot of pressure off the staff, which should mean better overall service, but see a lot of waiters just kind of not taking extra steps for basic service... Example is water refills, but also initial seating - party of 6 waiting about 15 min when there's at least 3 empty tables, just with folks currently seated inbetween them... no effort made to at least ask if they could please move... At its best, Tsujita is 4 stars on a good day, but typically ranges in quality depending on the day... give it 3 stars across the board.

Yelp
Thing has changed here. We now have order from QR code on the phone. The waitress hardly come visit us, she took order for drinks and never came back for meal order. We have to scan QR code on the table and order on the phone. Once she delivered the food, and afterward, she never came back to ask if we need more drink or not. That was very strange. The ambiance was just plain restaurant, nothing out of ordary to mention. I am not sure I would go back there. It was very strange experience.

Yelp
Zen ambiance, wonderful surprise addition to Fort Lee Japanese ramen noodle battle. Tsukemen deluxe the broth is tasty & rich with cold noodles remind me of Tokyo 5/5 Tonkotsu with belly thin sliced come in perfection 5/5 Beef udon with good al dente5/5 On top of it the service with Steven is the highlight of the night... keep up the excellent work, this place should do well The Claw Machine was a nice touch to the place and my daughter enjoyed it very much. She was very excited to earn a little pig plush keychain. Overall I suggest this place and would definitely come back!

Yelp
Little ramen shop near the GW Bridge. Street parking or in the lot behind for a fee or muni parking not too far. Inside, seat yourself and you can order from the server or the table code. Took a bit of time to wait on someone to clean the table. The gyoza - deep fried, not just fried. Make a note of that- I don't like it that deep fried, just pan fried. Inside was not purely meat, was a mix of some veggie and chicken and pork. The joy of a thin, just cooked skin lost on folks here. They like adding lime/lemon into things. Not the best ("refreshing" I think the menu referred to it as... but not a match). The ramen, tried three kinds: - original regular tonkatsu was good, a little bland pork broth and the slices of pork were good; reasonably well balanced and flavor was ok but not as rich as others I've had, with thin noodles. - miso regular - far too much sesame oil. I had to spoon it off in order to even taste anything other than sesame oil. Underneath, thin noodles, corn, seaweed, and chopped pork. Totally misbalanced even after taking off most of the sesame oil and trying to taste the meager amount of miso here. Even my wife who loves sesame was overwhelmed, didn't finish it. A little side of spicy takana on the side reminded one of somewhat musty tea leaves (it's Japanese red mustard leaf). And that was very spicy. Overall not a great ramen style for me as it was completely bold/big and not balanced; the best part was the noodles, which were very good on their own in style; just needed better broth to go with that, and the Ajitama egg was very good on its own. Service was ok; server missed bringing out warm water and had to call people over for attention each time - apparently most people go introvert and use the QR codes instead. Table had ginger pickled red and white. The plastic water cups were all chewed up at the top...

Yelp
Came here for the Hololive Collab they were running as one was finally on the east coast! Parking is a bit dicey and confusing. We got a metered spot a block away but felt pressured to get in and get out to avoid meter charges. Come to find out once we entered the shop you can park at a garage near by and they will validate 2 hours of your parking at the restaurant. Would've been nice if we had known this going in. Shop is very open and they had Hololive music videos playing on a screen over the dining area. Once settled we ordered takoyaki, waters and Amori Apple Juice and Kiara's Orange soda...but waited a while before the waitress told us we need to put that order in using the QR code or they can't fulfill the order even though they verbally took our order. A minor inconvenience but we scanned and ordered. Takoyaki was delicious, not super hot but still warm, soda was just ok. More like orange juice mixed with pomegranate and sprite. Apple juice was delicious as well. I got Ina's Mushroom Ramen and husband got a basic tonkatsu ramen. Both dishes were pleasant and filling. Service was pretty fast getting food but when we wanted to purchase some items from the collab it was hard to get the servers attention. She was running back and forth and I didnt see the other staff jumping in to help. (not very busy at 3pm on a Saturday. Maybe 6 other people?) Not sure if she was the head server or what. We eventually got our items. Planning on stopping back in to try their Tsukemen on another weekend but we'll park at the designiated parking spot next time for free parking.

Jane M.

Yelp
First time visiting. Full during lunch hour. Tried a variety. The tonkotsu broth was good but slightly bland. Miso ramen broth was a bit spicy. The salmon bowl was bigger in portion than expected and the steamed gyoza was soft and full of flavor. Overall everything was good and would recommend. Good lunch special as.well

Fiona L.

Yelp
We drive 4 hours to eat the tsukemen here. I had three different tsukemens in Japan and I think Tsujita tastes just as good if not better. You can order and pay on the QR code so it's easy to add more noodles or toppings real time or just be in and out quickly!

Julie Ying X.

Yelp
I came here for lunch with my family on a Saturday afternoon. It's apparently a chain from Japan that specializes in tsukemen. I didn't feel like getting tsukemen so I ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen. The ordering process was a bit confusing since you could order and pay from scanning the QR code on the table but they still come to your table to take your order. They had complimentary pickled vegetables on the table which was nice. The ramen broth was very flavorful and had a good spicy kick. The noodles were thin and had a good chew. They also provided extra red pepper as well. The prices were reasonable for the portion size. Service was friendly and fast. I have to come back to try the tsukemen!

Emily D.

Yelp
I had the Ajitama Tsukemen served cold (recommended by the restaurant). I feel this was the perfect amount of food (with one whole jammy egg). The dipping broth is served hot and had bamboo shoots and pork. I would recommend coming for the lunch special because it's $2-3 off the original price which is totally worth it. You can also try the complementary iced jasmine tea during lunch hours.

Christine H.

Yelp
This place is a solid bet if you're craving tsukemen. The flavors are on point and the tuna over rice is also something that is delectable. I think the server we had was a bit newer so it was hard to get his attention. But overall, well worth the hype and a great addition to Hudson Lights.

Michelle O.

Yelp
Great tsukemen! The 2nd best that I've had so far, and best I've had in the USA. The best one I've had is Rokurinsha Tokyo station in Japan, so that sets a relatively high bar. I was very impressed by Tsujita's delicious, springy noodles (we got the cold version) and the thick, very flavorful broth! We got: Deluxe Tsukemen - comes with all the fixings (pork belly chashu, spicy Tanaka, ajitama). I recommend getting this one if it's your first time here so you get to try the different toppings. The chashu is yummy, thick and generously portioned. $22.95. 5/5 Ajitama Tsukemen - Tsukemen with additional egg topping. The egg was perfectly cooked with a jammy center and soaked up all the flavorful marinade. $16.95. 5/5 Their weekday lunch special is a good deal if the timing works for you. Their basic tsukemen will be $12.95, which is $2 off the usual menu price. My only qualms is that since we got the food to-go, we could not request for the soup wari to turn our leftover broth into a soup. Perhaps they can include it in their to-go orders in the future? I'll definitely ask for it next time I'm there. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place!

Kit S.

Yelp
Great ramen , clean atmosphere, great service . Chicken karake so juicy. Great soup . No wait line

Rosita Z.

Yelp
Dip, dip, dip! This restaurant is known for their Tsukemen! A type of ramen where the broth/sauce is served separately from the noodles. We ordered the Deluxe Tsukemen, which includes huge pieces of pork belly and egg. The broth is flavorful and has pieces of pork on it, so we ended up having leftovers :). The Salmon Ikura bowl is a great portion to share. Great service and ambiance for a date!

Samantha D.

Yelp
Thoroughly enjoyed the tsukemen, ramen, and salmon rice bowl. Their stone pot ramen was unique, the broth was full of flavor - spicy and hearty perfect for a chilly day. The noodles were chewy and thick as I prefer them. The only thing I'd possibly dock points for is that the tsukemen broth was a bit on the salty side. The spicy fish they provided on the side with the tsukemen was good. The salmon bowl was light and refreshing, we shared it as an appetizer but it would also be good as a small meal or side. The restaurant was clean and spacious, service was also professional.

Sam T.

Yelp
The ramen was solid, featuring a rich and flavorful broth that complemented the perfectly cooked noodles. The char siu was tender and flavorful, adding depth to the dish. The restaurant's ambiance is inviting, and the staff is attentive and friendly.

A. A. S.

Yelp
If you're in the mood for a unique ramen experience, this spot is a must-try. The creamy broth is rich and comforting, with a perfect balance of flavors that make each spoonful indulgent. The hearty portions ensure you won't leave hungry, and the fusion twist adds an exciting layer to the traditional dish--think bold ingredients and unexpected combinations that elevate the classic ramen experience. Definitely worth a visit for those looking to try something new while enjoying a satisfying meal.

Olivia N.

Yelp
Overall rating: 4.8 Really good ramen spot in Fort Lee. Already has great reviews which I'm not surprised. MUST get fried chicken. Wish they served it as a meal! I did the dipping ramen and it did not disappoint. Sooo good. Also I couldn't finish mine and their to go box was so cool. I was a little concerned at first, it would be difficult to carry home. But it wasn't! Also you order thru an app, so there's no confusion on the bill when you go with large parties which I love! It was so easy and highly recommend.

Bevano L.

Yelp
Having tried tsukemen in Japan and US, this got to be the best tsukemen I had in US, comparable to the best I had in Tokyo. Flavorful broth and not over powering, with several bits of pork meat. We were recommended to get the cold noodle which is springy and enjoyable as it got dipped on the dipping sauce. Note that the tsukemen is not cheap as the deluxe cost above $22. You can get their basic tsukemen without toppings, which should still be enjoyable. You can also get 2 hours validated parking in building behind

Jessica S.

Yelp
Clean, convenient location, and good food. I had high expectations since visiting the LA location and my tsukemen craving was satisfied. You scan a QR code and order online which is convenient but I do miss physical menus. Service was average--nothing extraordinary but still attentive. We got the deluxe tsukemen which ended up being a LOT of food. One qualm I had was that I wish the broth was hotter especially if you choose to order cold noodles. I also don't know if they offer hot stones to keep the broth warm which is what the LA location and some other tsukemen places have. Overall a great place for a hearty and satisfying meal! Will definitely come back!

Amanda M.

Yelp
Delicious ramen and tsukkemen at Tsujita. I got the spicy tsukkemen and thoroughly enjoyed the tasty dipping broth and chewy noodles. My only wish was for the tsukkemen to be less cold but maybe that is how it is traditionally served. I would opt for the ramen next time if it was another cold day or get the tsukkemen again on a warmer day. We also enjoyed the takoyaki which was perfectly crispy. There was no wait on a Sunday night and we were seated immediately. You order via QR code which is quite convenient if you have a smart phone. The restaurant itself was spacious and clean.

Jenny C.

Yelp
After sampling various ramen spots in Fort Lee, I'd say this one ranks slightly above the average. We opted for the deluxe tsukemen, Ajituma Tsukemen, and takoyaki. The noodles had that ideal "Q texture," and the dipping broth was undeniably delicious. However, the chashu pork was a bit too salty for my liking. While this might work in some cases, the broth itself was already salty enough, making it an excessive combination. It's not a major issue, but I found the pork at Thumbs up ramen more to my taste. The takoyaki, on the other hand, was decent but not exceptionally impressive - though I've yet to discover truly outstanding takoyaki. Overall, when it comes to noodles, the texture was spot on, but the toppings could be better. Value is not the greatest, but by no means unreasonable. All in all, Tsujita is a decent choice for lunch, and I wouldn't hesitate to return. --- Additional comment: While the above reflects my experience many months back, I recently had the chance to come back for their kakigori. Is it pricey? Yes. Would I get it again? Definitely. We tried both their strawberry and black sugar flavor. The latter was the clear winner. We even ended up pouring the rest of the black sugar syrup on the strawberry dish once we finished most of the strawberry syrup topping. The dessert is a bit different from traditional kakigori which is made from ice, whereas this seemed to have been made from frozen milk, so it felt more like a very light ice cream texture. Delicious nonetheless. I hope they add even more flavors in the future!

Catherine Y.

Yelp
I love coming here for the lunch menu. It's such a great price and I'm always leaving stuffed. I love both ramen and tsukemen, and this place does both well. They give you an option of cold noodles or hot noodles for the tsukemen, but make sure you get cold noodles! Having it with cold noodles makes the noodles extra chewy and bouncy (in a good way)! Service is always great, and the space itself is pretty modern.

Wei H.

Yelp
Great ramen place in fort Lee. Menu is small but all are very good. The deluxe is def worth it, comes with sides I want. Karage is top 3 on my list. They cut it in big pieces but ver juicy and tender. Service is excellent. Very clean and enough space.

Nehal A.

Yelp
Fantastic Ramen place, upscale interior, excellent service. We went for a Sunday lunch, restaurant was mostly empty. The menu is short, few ramens and appetizers. I got all of their appetizers. Takoyaki was magnificent, soft layer with chewy octopus. Cucumber salad was decent. But chicken karage was the superstar. Extremely well made, with fluffy fried layer, and tender dark chicken inside. I also got the vegan ramen with soft eggs. The broth was colorful and tasty. They put a lot of noodles in the bowl. It's also a mix of glass and flat noodles. Orders come out in quick time too. Overall I really enjoyed their food.

Darren C.

Yelp
The food was amazing we order so much my favorite one is the fried chicken. The service is slow but the server is so nice to us . The ambiance is calm and clean that no one has seat on it.

Joyce A.

Yelp
The service was not good. I asked for a water refill and they acknowledged me but then ignored us why we stared at them. A piece of the bowl broke off and ended up in my daughter's mouth. No one would help us so we left. You order on the app and pay first - if I knew the service would be so bad, I would not have tipped and paid first. Despite the food being good, we won't be back.

Yelp
come here for the "dipping" ramen. Look, you have some choices for a ramen shop in fort lee, but they have some Tsukemen here, which is a thick wavy ramen served with a side of broth. I actually really like these noodles. Takoyaki was tasty as well. Prices are decent and service was good. I just didn't get ordering system: either you ask your waiter to order or do so via the QR code. If you order through the table QR code, you have to pay everything, including tip ahead of time. This doesn't make sense to me as why would I pay for an unknown service level? First time I have seen this pay up front. But spacious spot for a different take on ramen. Can park in the Hudson lights lot

Yelp
This one is hard to rate. Friday evening the place is empty. Not a good sign. Lay out is open and modern but also cold and uninviting. You sit down and scan the QR code. You order through it and pay in advance including the gratuity. That seems weird. But ok. Food comes out slow to begin with then it's a full on onslaught. Ok. Fried gyoza. The ugliest dumplings I have ever seen. They look burnt with acid. But the taste, pretty pretty good. Can't lie. The steamed dumplings, also ugly. Taste is bland but good. The dipping sauce for the ramen is way way too room temp for the recommended cold noodles. It doesn't allow for that melty goodness of sauce meets noodles that tsukemen is known for. Buuut the flavors are good. Noodles have a good chew. The charsiu is faaaantastic. Thick and juicy. Tender. Niiiice. Pork shoulder is surprisingly tender. The bathroom is clean and modern since it's a new renovation. You pass a mountain of dirty dishes on the way to the bathroom. The people working are nice when you leave. The empty restaurant makes me worried they won't be around long. Food is tasty, semi bland in a good way (not super salty), and it's a fast enjoyable meal. Not the greatest ramen but overall good.

Yelp
My friends and I made a little trip up to the North Jersey area, and we were interested in trying out the food at Tsujita, so we made a stop here on a Friday evening. We came and there were a handful of other tables seated; the interior seemed very clean and the servers were very attentive to our needs. I thought all the food was delicious! I really enjoyed the Spicy Tuna Bowl -- there was a good ratio of spicy tuna to rice, and the rest of the toppings on it complimented it well. As for the Tsukemen, I thought the broth had rich flavor and the noodle texture was great. The eggs were perfectly cooked and seasoned as well. Don't get me started on the Char Siu! They were so perfectly tender and bursting with flavor. If you've never tried Tsukemen, I would highly recommend coming here to check it out!

Yelp
Ramen in winter, a must especially from this place. I ordered for pickup, first thing I noticed was the place was aesthetically appealing. The Chashu Tsukemen, Chashu Tonkotsu and Chashu belly bowl were all very good will try other items very soon

Yelp
A gem in Fort Lee for great ramen. Came in for dinner after a hike in Jersey and ordered a bowl of tonkotsu ramen with pork belly, and shared some appetizers with my friends. Appetizers first - the fried chicken is pretty generous in size and very juicy and crunchy. Loved the Korean spicy sauce and it is an interesting fusion twist of this traditional Japanese dish. The takoyakis and gyozas are also good. The tonkotsu is a more milky style than most other you would taste, and that works wonderfully for being really rich, but at the same time not too heavy on your tongue. The portion of the noodles is really generous - I didn't even end up finishing the whole bowl. I added the soft boiled egg and it is very well made as well. The only thing that I wish they have is a beer, though getting a coke was great too. Overall a really decent ramen place that I would want to visit again. One potential tip is that the DX version of the ramen has a few more pieces of chashu and the egg, but it is $8 more expensive. It seems to be more worthwhile to order the normal version but add appetizers/toppings to your liking.

Yelp
I was really hyped to eat here. I've had an amazing experience at the Sawtelle, CA location. Honestly, it didn't meet my expectations....maybe my expectations were wayyy to high. I had the creamy crab croquettes for the appetizer and they were amazing. I was so excited for the main dish Tsukemen. However, it tasted a bit different from my previous experience...possibly it was an off day but I thought the broth lacked flavor and it wasn't hot when it was served. I'm willing to give it another try though!

Yelp
Pretty quick, efficient service and ordering by phone/QR code. Delicious thicker ramen noodles with a really rich, flavorful savory pork broth and thick cut pork belly.

Yelp
Great ramen shop with really good kakigori! Overall, I enjoyed my lunch at Tsujita. I give it 4 stars, because I'm hoping to try some other items on the menu next time that will really WOW me. The two appetizers we ordered - the salmon bowl and takoyaki - were very good and I'd recommend. I ordered the tsukemen, which was good, but because I've had better broths before, it wasn't a standout. The flavor is nice but a bit one-dimensional, compared to other places. However, my dining partner really enjoyed their spicy ramen. While I personally did not find the tsukemen broth outstanding, I will say that Tsujita's noodles are notable. They're perfectly chewy and just have such a great texture. Lastly, we had the raspberry kakigori for dessert, and it definitely hit the spot for me!

Yelp
Ramen in NJ is not plentiful unless you go into NYC. Tsujiya is located in Fort Lee which has many Asian restaurants and the vibe is hipster. We sat down with a baby in tow, and they were very accommodating. Service was good, food came out very quickly. I had the spicy ramen and spicy it was!! Good flavor and the noodles were cooked just right. My only complaint was the egg was cold. Parking may be difficult during the weekday but was not a problem on a Sat, it's street parking with meters. I would def go again and try some other items on the menu.

Yelp
I had greater impression from their CA ramen but completely different here in NJ. No beers or wines here so you need to bring one. On weekday night, dining room was widely opened. I had a bowl of Ajitama tonkotsu and my colleague had a Tsukemen. And fried gyoza and charsiu bowl on the side for share. Their QR code menu, order and payment before anything was bothersome to me. Not great waitstaff services here anyway. Fried gyoza was tasteless and nothing special with charsiu bowl. Still tonkotsu ramen was OK and soup was hot and good without porky smell. I won't go back unless they change order style since there's many greater ramen places near here.

Yelp
Really solid ramen! Preferred the ramen over the tsukemen, as it was a little oily and salty. Great price and super pretty and clean ambiance. Very nice service! Super sweet and attentive. Will be back!

Yelp
Been here multiple times and today we are here for deswrt only. Ordered kakigori with black sugar. (On the side). I expected super milky and frothy and smooth ice. It was just ok When we came here for the ramen we ordered deluxe tsukemen and deluxe tonkatsu ramen (w soup). They were both good but i would say i enjoyed ramen better. Soup was not too salty and had deep porky flavor w rich umami. Tsukemen was a bit disappointing as i felt like the noodle was cold and didnt grab the soup well which resulted in lack of flavor. Service is good very attentive and food came out pretty fast. Nice clean and modern setting with a huge open kitchen concept was really nice too. Honestly when it comes to ramen though i would say manya in fort lee for is better. Chashu is better bc of torch charred flavor. Not sure if i will come back.
