We had an amazing experience today! We loved the tour of the fish market. We learned so much about the fish and produce. Once we got we enjoyed learning how to make sushi! Great day and a wonderful overall experience.

We had such a good time learning all about Japanese cooking, including a detailed tour of the Tsukiji outer market and step-by-step guidance making our own food. Every aspect of this was great, a definite highlight of our trip. I highly encourage everyone to check it out!

Despite being disrupted by a video team filming for a special occasion, we enjoyed the sushi making class. The sensei (teacher) and her assistants ensured that we were well taken care of (with hot tea too). There were opportunities to go to the front where the teacher would demonstrate making some dishes and you could also hands-on while the teacher instructed. The ingredients used for the class were fresh from Tsukiji Market and you get to kill live prawns for your tempura. Great experience.

This felt like a real cooking class. We learned techniques for cutting raw fish as well as how to make sushi rolls, miso soup, etc. Teacher was terrific. Everything was well organized.

Great cooking class. Loved the location and proximity to the market. Enjoyed being able to experience the market with someone who knew the vendors and spoke Japanese (I cannot). Once we were back at the class location, the host and chef were very friendly answering all of my many, many questions. We had a lot of fun at the class and cooked A LOT of food.

We loved it! We decided which dishes we wanted to learn and our teacher took us shopping in the Tsukiji market and that was an awesome experience. She was like our tour guide and our cooking teacher and sommelier all in the same person. The kitchen studio is like being on a TV show with celebrity chefs! She demonstrated the techniques and watched over us as we made Udon noodles and other traditional Japanese dishes and cheered us on as we learned and had fun. We thoroughly appreciate her and her assistant's friendliness and hospitality. The kitchen studio is very clean and modern and has a lovely outdoor space as well. This was a highlight of our travels.

I have taken this tour and cooking class twice and loved it both times! It is amazing to see the Tsukiji market and explore it with someone who knows it so well. Everything for the class is purchased by the teacher while you walk around. Misao was gracious enough to ask us what we liked and if we were willing to try new things and made purchases based on that. The class was excellent. Appropriate for any skill level. The food we prepared was delicious (and different each class). Misao is a terrific instructor, both pointing out the uniqueness of certain ingredients, exercising patience, and helping along the way. Highly recommend this excursion!
