Tsukiyo sushi

This new à la carte sushi spot is truly a hidden gem in Wilshire Gramercy mall. Unlike other restaurants in the mall, it’s tucked away, making it feel exclusive. As soon as you walk in, the host asks you choose between the bar, a table, or a private room—nice options depending on your mood. Right after you choose where to seat, the staff greets you in Japanese, which adds a fun touch. The vibe is cozy yet stylish, and the staff is super friendly and attentive. They keep checking in to make sure you’re happy, which is always a plus. The menu is huge—sushi, sashimi, izakaya dishes, pasta, hot pot, and more. It was tough choosing, but every dish I tried was amazing. The drinks were great too! I went around 7 PM with a reservation, and I’m glad I did because it was packed. There are still so many dishes I want to try, so I’ll definitely be back. If you love sushi, this place is a must-visit!

Great rolls with reasonable prices. Blend of traditional and trendy atmosphere. Perfect for a semi-casual/semi-formal date night or a solo trip.

Everything was fantastic, food and staff were excellent. The only thing for me is the menu, nearly all rolls had spicy tuna and imitation crab, which was obnoxious because clearly the chefs are skilled, they should lean more into traditional dishes too, maybe some hand rolls?

This place is amazing. The food is so good and they are very friendly too! I've been twice and both times were great.
