Google
We found Tsukiyo Sushi randomly while searching online for a good sushi spot, and overall it did not disappoint. The fish was fresh and delicious, and we really enjoyed the wide variety of options--signature maki rolls, nigiri, and their signature izakaya dishes. Some standout izakaya items for us were the Saba Bouzushi and Rolls Royce, both packed with great flavor. The Tuna Crispy Rice was excellent as well- but we didn't know the pieces were so big, so we definitely over ordered on that one. The grilled mentaiko was a miss for us though--the texture and flavor just didn't work. For signature maki rolls, the Red Dragon Roll and Salmon Crunch Roll were excellent. The Salmon Crunch had fried onions, which we thought might be too overpowering, but it was actually really well balanced and tasty. The nigiri was also very good, though a few pieces were a bit too fatty for our preference. The menu is huge with plenty of options for everyone and very easy to share. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, which unfortunately means longer wait times. We waited past our quoted time, which was frustrating, and because it was close to closing, service felt a little rushed. That said, we did get to sit at a traditional Japanese floor table, which was a fun experience. The staff was friendly and service overall was good. Parking is easy with a free parking lot, and menu prices are fair--maybe slightly on the higher side, but reasonable for the quality. The only real downsides were the long wait, feeling rushed near closing, and noticing some fruit flies in the restaurant. Despite those issues, we had a great experience overall and would definitely come back.

Google
Second time back after getting lucky with the tatami seats the first time, and we got lucky again! Service is sometimes a bit slower because of how busy the place is, but the food is amazing! You won’t find some of their offerings in other Japanese restaurants, like nabe and some of their izakaya dishes. Overall, great value for great food, will definitely come back again, even if we don’t get the tatami seating! Most of the time there is a wait though. Usually 45-60 minutes but Hmart is just nearby! PS: They play great 80s and 90s Japanese city pop and jazz, to the point where I have to search up every single one of them!

Google
One of the top sushi spots and easily my new favorite in K-town. I’ve already been here twice in one week, and both visits were great. I’ve honestly never seen this combination of price, quality, and quantity anywhere else. Everything we tried was delicious, but the $35 dinner set completely blew me away. Definitely get the shrimp and vegetable tempura and the dinner set. Service is amazing, and there’s both street parking and valet. The only downside is the wait, especially since they don’t take weekend reservations, but it’s absolutely worth it.

Google
We wanted to try a variety of dishes, so we ordered a lot. It ended up being around $70 per person. What I really like about this place is how wide the menu is. It’s a sushi restaurant, but they even serve pasta, which is pretty nice. Everything we tried was good, and the tempura was super crispy. There was only one dish that tasted a bit fishy for me, but I don’t remember which one it was. It’s one of those restaurants where almost anything you order will turn out good, definitely worth trying.

Google
This was my second time dining here and incredibly disappointed by the number of flies in our room. The waiters only gave us an electric fly swatter but could not do anything about the problem. There were about 7 flies roaming around our food for the entire meal. The waiters couldn't even kill the flies on our behalf because they said the flies would land on our food. If the flies land on our food, it would've made sense for them to replace the food... not worth the time if your only focus is on flies for the entire meal. I asked for a discount for the inconvenience and they said they couldn't do anything about a discount. They also tried to charge us for a pepsi we never received. The hostess also had the audacity to glare at me when she took our check.

Google
The service is surprisingly fast and the food was delicious. I eat sashimi a lot and I can tell that the seafood they’re serving is fresh. Overall aa very fun a delightful night out!

Google
The food was incredibly good. We got the chef's selection of nigiri - 12 pieces that change every day and the Vegas roll. They were both some of the best sushi my friend and I have ever had. The drinks are good and the staff is kind and efficient. Prices were super reasonable given the outstanding quality. We had a 30 minute wait, but that's to be expected since we showed up at dinner time without a reservation. Parking was a little tricky, but not horrible. Highly recommend this place.

Google
This sushi restaurant offers top-quality sushi at a very reasonable price. The fish is incredibly fresh, and every piece is prepared with great attention to detail. You absolutely must try their signature sushi set and chirashi box — both are beautifully presented and full of flavor. Excellent value, friendly service, and a great spot for sushi lovers looking for quality without overpaying. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Amazing food, service, and ambience. One of my fav sushi places to eat and I feel so content every time I leave!! Staff is super attentive and sweet. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Came here few times and food is always good. Music is nice, the ambient is great, service as well. I ordered the bento box, which is good for the pro e

Yelp
My boyfriend and I love Tsukiyo! We have been here twice and the service is always amazing. (Shout out Yeji!) They have edamame on the house after 5pm! We always order the Sushi Set Dinner and the Chirashi bowl and the fish is fresh and great value. The wait for the back tables is worth it because it feels like a private room. Will definitely be coming back for our next date night again!

Yelp
10 out of 10 experience! This is hands down the best Japanese restaurant I've visited so far in California. The sushi is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. There's a wide variety of options on the menu, so whether you're into classic nigiri or creative rolls, you'll find something you love. What really impressed me is how reasonably priced everything is for the quality you get--it feels like a hidden gem. Every bite was perfect, and the service was friendly and attentive. If you're in LA and craving authentic Japanese cuisine, Tsukiyo Sushi is a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back!

Amy N.

Yelp
This place is amazing! The vibes and food are on point. The sushi set dinner was great value and everything was so fresh. The service was also top notch and attentive. There is a 2 hour time limit to dine in and valet parking is $4.

Yelp
had an amazing time here, but I'm not sure if I'd come back. The reviews are great, so despite the location I wanted to give it a try. The sushi was good, but nothing to write home about, maybe I'm just spoiled in the East Bay, but the fish quality was just okay. The service, though, was outstanding. Friendly greeting as soon as you walk in, complimentary edamame, and the sweetest servers. I also loved the traditional seating, and the prices are super affordable.

Yelp
Seriously think best priced and tasty bento lunch boxes in KTown!!! Super cute small spaced inside strip mall off Wilshire band sometimes parking is tough but short walk from sis's house so always a must while in town!! Highly recommend old skool floor seating!! Staff are so attentive and accommodating!!! Great large lunch options and thus far no bad choices....All really good!!
google avatar

Crystal H.

Yelp
Came here for their lunch specials! Got the Sushi set lunch for $24.99 and it was so worth it! Came with 10 pieces of nigiri, salad and soup. The fish was good quality- would definitely come back! We sat in one of the semi private dining rooms where you take your shoes off and sit on the floor. Fun experience! A little hard to get the waitress' attention due to being in a separate room, but service was still good. This sushi place is located in a plaza, which has parking.

Yelp
Came here for my birthday and got seated in one of the private rooms which elevated my experience. Ordered the sushi dinner set for $35 and the quality was amazing. You can definitely taste it, a downside was how sometimes the sauce included with the fish made it taste a little off. They also gave me free ice cream bc of my birthday! If you're in ktown and looking sushi, give this place a try!
google avatar

Dakota M.

Yelp
This was soooooo so so so good I might even come back later today!! Not even kidding..the seared salmon nigiri was the best I've ever had and that is my go to! The bluefin tuna was also exxcellent and they were SO reasonably priced, $5 and $10. Also has to try a signature dish and got the "Rolls Royce", which was good too but the nigiri just stole the show. 11/10!

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday for lunch. We thought there would be a line but were surprised to see no line when they opened at 11:30am. We got seated in one of those private rooms which was a great experience. From the photos, it look like you sit on the floor but actually there's a hole under the table for your legs. Ordered the uni pasta and lunch set. The uni pasta was amazing though I wish the uni flavor came out more. The lunch set was also good, though some of the pieces of the set I didn't love. However, the price of the lunch set can't be beat!

Yelp
Saw this place on TikTok and it was definitely worth the drive. I came around 5pm with hopes of sitting inside their traditional booth, and only waited aprox 20 minutes. Luckily, we beat the rush because I overheard other customers preferring to sit in there as well with a longer wait. All the staff were so kind and friendly. They were all attentive and even noticed we were filming, so they offered to adjust the lighting for us. My friend and I ordered the sushi dinner set (12 pieces, $35) and it was so delicious. Lovely assortment of fish; very fresh and high quality. We also had the umefizz, a plum highball, very refreshing and not too strong. Only downside was that since the seating area was in high demand, our meal felt a bit rushed. We had a 2hr limit and were in there for aprox an hour, starting from ordering to us being done with our food. Staff already tried taking our plates with food still on it. I get it though, still enjoyed my time, will definitely be back! *Valet was also $3 lunch $4 dinner time.

Yelp
This place is so fun, we came right at 11:30am on Saturday and we were able to get seated immediately in a private room. The lunch sushi set is such a good deal and the fish is good quality. The uni pasta is so creamy and al dente, and smoke bomb is a must. Not only is it fun, but it's super Smokey, and a solid take on crispy rice. The yellowtail shoulder was really tender, but we'll probably opt for something else next time. Service is really great too, and there's valet parking for $3 in the lot.

Yelp
Quite disappointed. Heard a lot of great reviews, but our experience fell quite short. Had a big bone in our eel and when we notified our server, they told us this was completely normal. When we requested for another as we couldn't eat it, they charged us for the second order too without notice. Plus, we were excited to sit in the "floor tables" but it ended up being a bad choice because in order to get the attention of any worker, you have to get up from your seat and pop out the doorway to flag anyone down. Not once did anyone come to check on us or refill our waters, and we weren't able to get their attentions when they came into the hallway for the other tables either.

Yelp
My new favorite sushi bar. Fresh delicious sushi, diverse menu, very affordable (e.g. salmon nigiri only $5) and great service. We got salmon nigiri ($5), it had minced shallots on top, delicious. The bluefin tuna ($10) was amazing, as was the yellowtail ($8). My son got the tiger roll ($17) which was salmon and eel on CA roll. He liked it. I got the dynamite appetizer ($8) which was great although had a ton of red and green bell peppers in it, which I don't like. I took it out. There's valet parking in the strip mall but it was full so we parked at the metered street parking. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
We gave Tsukiyo Sushi a try after seeing it listed under Beli's Top 5 New LA Restaurants of 2025. I called ahead on Monday to ask if we could walk in. They said it was fine, but we cut it kinda close as only the bar was available by the time we got there around 7:30pm. The inside of the restaurant was smaller than I expected. There's a bar, of course, in front of the sushi chefs, a small handful of tables, and some more private elevated tatami seating rooms. I would definitely recommend making a reservation. Parking is valet and is $4 for dinner time. Value was great. I had the sushi set dinner for $30 which came with 12 pieces of nigiri sushi. The sushi was fresh and delicious. We also had the Uni Pasta, which was very good. The sauce was very creamy, and the uni tasted great. The herbs on top added a much appreciated freshness and cut through the rich sauce. I also ordered the Ume Fizz cocktail, but didn't get to enjoy it because they forgot about it. I had to remind the staff that I ordered it, and by that point we were more than halfway through our meal. The highball cocktail was good though - fizzy and smooth. The liquor virtually disappears into the drink. It's a shame I was only able to take a couple sips since our meal was almost over and I had to drive later. Service in general could use improvement. Not only did they forget my drink, it was difficult to get a server's attention to bring it up. Regardless of the service, the meal was delicious, reasonably priced, and relatively quick.

Yelp
Great value and quality for their sushi! We sat at the bar and enjoyed a lunch with the set lunch order and their chirashi bowl.

Yelp
Mary is absolutely the best!! So kind we got seated inside at a room and the table is very cool (there's a lot of leg space lol). GET THE CEVICHE it's so good. We also got the tsukiyo roll, bengal roll, sweet shrimp sashimi, and everything was amazing
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
Everything was so good! We ordered the spicy tomato pasta, (had a generous amount of seafood), crispy squid legs (perfectly crisp and not greasy at all!), sushi set dinner (beautiful and tasty), and bengal roll (fish just melts in your mouth!) 10/10 first visit and we will definitely be back.
google avatar

Hanna L.

Yelp
The food is so high quality. I especially loved the uni pasta and the sushi lunch set, which also comes with salad! What to get: -sushi set -uni pasta The service is nice, and the vibes were amazing. There is a floor seating area (regular seating too), which I always love in Japanese and Korean restaurants.

Yelp
Simply spectacular. If there was one sushi place I could go in my life over and over again, it would be Tsukiyo. I came on a Sunday night around 6:30 PM and did not make any reservations, but was seated promptly at the bar. Next time, I definitely want to get a private room because it just looks so stunning!! Let's get into it: They surprised us with complimentary edamame!! Uni Cream Pasta: 10/10 I would order this again and again. The portion size was just right, and it came with a pair of the two most crunchiest garlicy toast I have ever had that paired SO WELL with the pasta. Love! Want to try the other pastas next time. Rolls Royce: 9/10 One of the priciest thing on the menu (16.99/p) and I wanted to try caviar and all the fancy stuff that came along with it. It was good, but I think I will stick to ingredients I know of next time HAHA Yellowtail Carpaccio: 9/10 Delectable and smooth taste. Would order again and try other carpaccios! I don't think you can go wrong with any of their carpaccio. Sushi Set Dinner: 10/10 If there was one thing you can get on the menu, I would get this. The quantity, variety, and it also came with a complimentary salad. I would 1000% recommend the sushi set dinner. If I came back for lunch, I would order the lunch set. S-Class Ceviche: 10/10 Solid. The touch of lime on the side was an absolute banger. It was refreshing with the best hit of spice. I came as a party of two and we were absolutely STUFFED. But, we wanted to try as much things as we could and cleared the plate. Our total came out to be around $120~. Valet parking is $4, but street parking is also available. Service was amazing and quick.

Yelp
I've been to Tsukiyo 6 times now and will never get sick of it! The quality of fish is soo good at a great price. Typically going there for nigiri but have also tried a fair share of the unique apps. Now I know what I would reorder and what I wouldn't. Uni pasta: must try at least once! I've tried the mentaiko pasta, but it's the same cream sauce so just stick to one or the other. Dinner set is a must try! 12 pc of premium fish nigiri, including miso soup and salad. I think the dinner set is better than the lunch set with scallop, amaebi, and uni. I didn't love the Salmon smoke bomb. It's like crispy rice, spicy salmon, and avocado. Sounded good but the smoke was too chemically/artificial for me. Maybe stick with spicy tuna crispy rice. Jalapeño shrimp: although it looks very basic, I liked the green sauce and shrimp. It was like jalapeño and cilantro sauce. Grilled mentaiko appetizer: was good! I'd recommend getting once. The grilled flavor was good and refreshing with the cucumber and lemon. The creamy sauce was like a jalapeño Mayo sauce? Scalllop crudo: I think it was good, but wasn't super memorable. Rolls Royce: we had it subbed with scallop instead of uni because they didn't have uni that day- which I appreciated the transparency in that the uni shipment they got wasn't up to par for them, so they didn't wanna sell it! Overall, such great food for the price!! I love taking my friends here. The quality is there. Service was attentive and helpful when I had any questions. I love the seating options- we love sitting at the bar or the tatami rooms. The plaza parking is a shitshow. Parking is crowded- paid valet $4 for dinner/$3 for lunch. There is some meter parking around, but hard to find.

Yelp
A new sushi spot that's been on social media - we got the dinner sushi set, uni pasta, fried eggplant, and a roll The prices are definitely reasonable esp in LA! Also the waiters were extremely nice and attentive, honestly very impressive and better than most restaurants I've been to in LA recently. Ambiance is good, they have some private looking rooms but I sat on the outside table area since the wait was long for a room. Definitely feel like it would be a different experience in the room but it was very chill and not too loud outside and the waiters were very focused! Their fish is all super fresh and tasted good, if you're willing to splurge I would def get your fill on fish! The uni pasta was good but I would recommend getting another sushi set/roll for the price since it mostly ended up tasting like a cream pasta and the uni definitely got lost The fried eggplant was my favorite of the night! Super affordable and tasty and I would totally come here just to get this The dinner set is 35$ I believe and the lunch is 25$(?), the fish was fresh and it was a pretty decent assortment of different fish. I 100% think it's worth getting if you can make it in for lunch (lunch is 10pc and dinner is 12pc I believe), I wouldn't get the dinner set again but it was good and worth trying once. I'd definitely come back for the lunch deals and apps! I would want to explore more of the menu next time

Yelp
While I loved the little private room we were seated in, the food at Tsukiyo was just average. We tried a wide variety of sushi and tempura, and nothing really stood out. If I had to pick a favorite it was the crispy rice with tuna and avocado. The service was ok but our server wasn't personable or particularly attentive. We sat for a long time after we finished, and finally had to flag someone down to have our plates cleared and ask for the check.

Yelp
Take the sophistication of a high-end omakase restaurant and mix it with the laid-back vibes of a neighborhood izakaya - that's Tsukiyo Sushi! City pop melds with the chatter of customers, punctuated by the occasional "irasshaimase!" from the staff when a new diner arrives. Tsukiyo has a bright and energetic atmosphere that I loved - loud (but not TOO loud), playful, and wholly unpretentious. The food here is delicious, good quality, well-executed, and most importantly - very fairly priced! I got the 12-piece sushi set dinner, which comes carefully prepared with garnishes and seasonings already, so no need to add soy sauce. If you're more of a sushi purist and enjoy the simplicity of fish and rice, some of the nigiri may be a little too strongly flavored for your liking - but I very much enjoyed the bold flavors. They also have a variety of non-sushi/sashimi offerings, like pasta, nabe, and surprisingly large appetizers (edamame is free in the evening!). Can't wait to come back and try more! The service was quick and excellent, special shoutout to Josh who was super friendly and attentive - we had a great time chatting with him! I'll absolutely be coming back regularly to Tsukiyo, every time I need an infusion of delicious food and the good vibes!

Yelp
Fresh sushi/ sashimi, with great variety of sake choice. Bright clean ambience, love the bar seating/ table seating and the room seating with tatami. Decent spot in K-town, not too crowded, didn't need reservation to come here for a dinner on a weekday. Service is attentive and friendly - but not super professional, could've more training about the fish type imo. The toro, yellowtail and eel are really good-- they melt into your mouth. In general their fish selection are quite good! Not my #1 sushi spot in LA but it's prob top 10, very good. We sat at the room and it's a special dining experience. Great for date nights or small gatherings.

Yelp
This was my first time at Tsukiyo Sushi and can I say IT WAS SO FREAKIN DELICIOUS wow. I never write Yelp reviews but this place blew my mind with their extensive menu items (some I have never seen at other sushi places), the quality of their fish, the service, and the layout of the place! Our server Mary was so helpful with giving recommendations and she helped us choose between the uni pasta and mentaiko pasta! (the mentaiko won) Please just refer to the photos attached and you will see! New favorite sushi spotttttt

Yelp
Love this place! It's so reasonably priced and getting a private room had no wait on a Monday night. The fish quality was amazing, Death Valley Roll was unique with a great ratio of ingredients, and their Uni Pasta was sooo creamy and delicious also. I will definitely be back!
google avatar

Julie V.

Yelp
Saw this place on my feed and couldn't resist trying their dinner sushi set! You get 12 pieces of chef's choice nigiri for $35 - such a steal. The presentation was appealing! Everything was fresh, buttery, and perfectly balanced. The oyster was also massive and super refreshing. Service was quick and friendly. I'll come back for their lunch special!

Yelp
The food here is so gooooodd. My group came by on a Sunday night without a reservation and waited about 20 minutes, and we were ecstatic when we got seated in one of their private tatami rooms!! Between the four of us, we ordered the uni cream pasta, mentaiko pasta, two sushi dinner sets, the Monk (monkfish liver), aburi salmon roll, and the seafood cream nabe. Literally everything was so delicious. The sushi was very fresh. We loved the uni pasta so much we ordered another pasta at the end of dinner instead of dessert lol. The only qualm I had was that there were so many flies swarming around us all throughout dinner. Initially it wasn't so bad, but then it seemed like more of them kept coming, and by the end it was getting hard to enjoy our dinner because we spent so much time trying to shoo the flies away from the food. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, but this unfortunately did dampen my experience here quite a bit.

Yelp
Great food and intimate seating. Good quality fish and service was good. I had an excellent time here because the fish was great and well priced

Yelp
Came here for a friends lunch and was quite surprised on how delicious everything was at this restaurant. For sushi quality it is very delicious and for the price I think it's very well worth the money. Server was extremely nice and attentive to everything that we needed. We also brought a cake that they held in the refrigerator for us, which was really nice of them. Space is very big too considering a lot of spots in Koreatown are pretty small. The restaurant is very clean and bright. Recommended Items: Agedashi tofu: 8.5/10 (4 pieces so delicious) chicken karrage: 8.2/10 (cooked to perfection with sauce grilled mentaiko with cucumber: 8.5/10 (idk what this is but its gas) uni cream pasta: 7/10 (didnt hit plus came out room temp) chirashi don: 8/10 i will be back Parking is limited in the lot spots are very tight. Might get lucky on street parking too.

Melinda C.

Yelp
I did not expect such fresh nigiri for only $25 (premium 10pc lunch set with 2pc futomaki, miso soup, and house salad). My friends and I split the mentaiko cream pasta - so delicious but we were so full and couldn't finish it all. It wasn't super busy when we walked in on a Saturday morning, so we got to take off our shoes and sit at one of the traditional japanese floor seating areas which was a cool experience. 10/10 would come again and recommend to others.

Yelp
So delicious and unique. Service was incredibly fast and pleasant. Everyone was so nice. Highly recommend. Music is loud but not bad. We sat at the bar and loved it definitely want to try a room next time.

Yelp
My husband and I had an amazing experience here! It was our first time so they put us in the private dining room which was right by the sushi counter. We ordered a variety of small plate options and the sushi dinner. Everything was fresh and delicious. The price was also much lower than I expected - an amazing value! The sushi dinner was probably the highlight of the meal. My husband said it was really great quality fish and loved the variety that Tsukiyo had. Overall, we will be back!

Yelp
This is our favorite sushi place. We ordered lunch sushi sets today. Sushi was always fresh and price was affordable. the waitress Yeji was very nice and friendly. She gave us free dish and ice cream for my friend's birthday too! We will definitely come back!

Yelp
Food was amazing! Sushi Dinner Set: sooo tender fish. Melt in your mouth. Highly recommend. Only thing is that in one of the fish I had a hard tendon part that I couldn't chew and had to spit out. Tsukiyo Special Roll: Awesome! Really great flavors and my first time having asparagus in a roll and it had a great crunchy texture to it. Yellowtail Carpacchio: really good too. Don't get too much of the sauce when you eat it because it is too acidic. They gave us complimentary edamame! Service is super quick and nice! 10/10. They collected my plates and trash immediately and food came out super quick too. Ambience is welcoming, loud music playing, and pretty busy on a Friday night! Came here for the traditional sit on the floor type dining, but unfortunately they were all filled, so we sat at the bar. But that didn't take away from the experience!

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. It's located in the corner of a strip mall with valet parking and nearby street parking. The quality of the food with the price is SO GOOD, especially in LA. We got: -spicy tiny crispy rice ($9): solid -house nabe ($20): good, but definitely to share -uni cream pasta ($17): solid -sushi dinner set ($30): amazing value, fresh -chirashi ($30): so fresh We LOVED the sushi and the quality for the price. Service was quick and attentive. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend .

Yelp
Fresh fish, beautiful presentation, and good service! The bento box chicken was a tad bit dry. Loved the uni pasta & chirashi. The fish was a little skimpy on the rainbow roll. Must try for sushi lovers.

Yelp
Wow, I have to say this place is 100% worth spending every penny on. Everything from the sushi being really fresh and tasty, to the servers and hostess that were all super sweet and friendly, all the way down to the ambiance, this place was incredible. Some of the best sushi I've ever had!

Yelp
Stopped by this sushi spot for lunch and had a pretty solid experience overall. The ambiance was relaxed and intimate, with a great instrumental playlist that made the whole meal feel extra chill and elevated. The service was genuinely warm and attentive from start to finish--never rushed, but always available when we needed something. Food-wise, there were definitely some standout dishes. The sea urchin (uni) pasta was tasty and well-prepared, but I do wish it had come with more actual sea urchin pieces to really bring out that rich, buttery flavor. One of my favorite bites was a roll topped with sweet shrimp, sea urchin, caviar, and gold flakes - luxe, beautifully balanced, and worth the splurge. That said, not everything blew me away. A few items didn't taste as fresh or flavorful as I expected, especially considering the quality of some of the standouts. I would skip the potato salad as well as the fried seafood bucket. Prices were reasonable for the setting and the type of dishes offered. Would come back for the ambiance, service, and a few key menu items--but next time, I'll be a little more selective with the ordering.

Yelp
Tsukiyo was great! We needed a place to grab sushi after chilling at the spa all day and this was just the ticket. We got the Brussels sprouts, agedashi tofu, sushi set dinner and chirashi bowl. The agedashi tofu came out hot and savory. The Brussels sprouts were crisp and great with the spicy mayo. We split the sushi set dinner and chirashi bowl among three people, but more hungry diners could def get more. We sat at a floor level table with was a fun experience. The service was impeccable. Our server Josh was very helpful with our questions and walked us through the menu. We'll def be coming back!

Yelp
Our first stop in SoCal and we really enjoyed our experience here. Came here with a party of 4 and they sat us in a tatami style room where we had to remove our shoes and there was a lowered area for our feet where we sat. It made the experience really fun and traditional. Service was great as they let us have a few minutes to look through the menu. We all ended up ordering their cocktails- the umefizz and yuzumi and both were light and refreshing. We got 4 rolls and shared that for a light lunch. I forgot which rolls, but my favorite was probably the lion king roll. Overall it was a great spot for lunch and would definitely come back to try their other dishes such as the nabe and pasta/udon dishes.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by both the quality and the price! I got the sushi lunch special for $25--such a great deal for the variety and freshness you get. We also tried the Salmon Crunch Roll, which was delicious. The fried onions on top added the perfect savory crunch. The chicken karaage was solid--not the standout of the meal, but still enjoyable. What really made the experience was the ambience and service. The space has a relaxed, clean vibe, and our server Aaron was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out smoothly. Definitely planning to come back. Great value, great vibes, and great sushi.

Yelp
Insanely good sushi spot in ktown. Part of a busy plaza where parking is limited. Went for early dinner on a weekend, they don't take resys at this time and wait for a table was about 20 minutes. We started with a yuzu cocktail which was refreshing and not too sweet. Ordered the aburi sushi, assortment of nigiri, death valley roll, uni pasta, and fried calamari. Everything we had was amazing, beautifully plated, and super fresh. Could not have been more impressed with the quality of food and service, can't wait to come back and try everything else on their menu.

Yelp
Great found when we are in town, visiting LA for 3 days and this spot is a hit. Imaging $35/12 pieces of nigiri including uni. It was so amazing. Service was also welcoming and friendly. We were so happy after the meal, one of the best valued sushi places we have ever been. Highly recommended

Yelp
This place offers tatami style dining and it was so cute and intimate. The menu offers a large variety and there was so many things we wanted to try but our stomachs can only eat so much. We decided on the grilled mentaiko with cucumber, mentaiko potato salad, seafood cream nabe, tsukiyo salad, and a 5 piece buried set. The grilled mentaiko was super yummy. It was a great starter. The mentaiko potato salad was something new for us and we pleasantly enjoyed it. It had a nice mentaiko kick to it so could be spicy to some people but I didn't think it was spicy. Presentation for seafood cream nabe was great and it was filled with veggies as well. 5 piece buried was ammaaazinngg so yummy Valet parking is available
