Tsuta Japanese Soba Noodles - 313@somerset

The open-concept environment made the dining area feel quite warm, and together with the mall strong ceiling blue lighting really affected the dining experience and made it hard to fully enjoy the food. Ordered the wagyu steak, but the portion was surprisingly small, just a few thinly sliced pieces for the price, which felt underwhelming. Taste was decent, but expectations were higher given the branding and pricing. Probably wouldn’t be my first choice to return.

The noodles that I ordered were supposed to be spicy. It was unfortunately tasteless. I happened to read a review on someone making the same comment just one week ago. There was also comments on flies, which I also find myself having to do sweeping motion with my left hand while I eat. The saving grace to my ramen was the request for chilli flakes and soya sauce to add into my stock. The teriyaki chicken was not well-marinated and as the slice was thick, it was rather hard instead of tender. It was a rather disappointing meal.

Very noisy environment as the restaursnt is located at a very open space and alot of people walking around. It is inside 313somerset mall but you dont feel much aircon. Sometimes you can feel the heat from outside. The seats are quite crampy too. Tried the signature truffle noodles. It is $18plus++ but the portion is not alot actually. Maybe its very high-end pricing. The aburi pork also tasted very rough. Nothing fascinating and likely no more next time. Quite disappointed. There are few flies flying around and can be quite irritating too.

A bit of a let down to be honest. Had high expectations but it was dashed. I ordered the Wagyu beef steak with extra steak (40g). And the meat was tendered but the rice was not piping hot or melting as I was expected. My wife ordered the signature ramen with lower salt and did not finish. The soup was like warm. The eggs tasted a bit funny and a bit sour. Overall Not a great experience.

No can go wrong with this Ramen shop! Only thing is that I wish it is had at a proper seating restaurant. The location is placed in a mall where you guild hear the crowd of the passing by’s. Which could not be very enjoyable to enjoy the food and your company. Ordered the spicy teriyaki chicken ramen. this soba ramen was cooked to al denté & this broth was very well spiced. Not too heavy yet rich in it. The you could also taste the marination of the chicken too. 16$+ for this bowl of ramen - enjoyed it nevertheless

A nice warm bowl of Michelin starred Ramen. 美味しいです！ Managed to get a table prior to peak hour and the ramen came really very promptly.

First time to Tsuta and I ordered kurobishio tonkotsu ramen. It’s not flavourful and it’s very oily. The only thing that stood out was the $2 sweet corn …lol … Not a pleasant experience in terms of food, but the staffs were friendly.

Ordered Kurobishio Tonkotsu Soba main dish, the soup is tasteless and smell of the meat is sour. Quite awfully Ask the waiter why the taste awkward and tasteless, they just walkawy ,pretend to check only.

We wanted to try the World's first Michelin Star ramen. We didn't need to wait as there was seats available. You order thru the QR code. We ordered one Regular shoiyu soba and one Premium Shoy soba. The food was good but the portions are small.

On my first visit back to Singapore in 35 years, I was amazed to find this restaurant as I wandered around the Orchard Shopping Centre: The first Michelin-starred noodle restaurant I've ever seen! The open-air design of the restaurant caught my eye immediately. I had to try it. Got myself the Premium Char Siu Truffle Shoyu Soba and it didn't disappoint at all! The reason I dropped a star is because the service was on the slow side, especially since the restaurant was only about a third full (I showed up for a late lunch/early dinner).

I was really excited to try this Michelin-rated chain. I even arrived before it's opening time in case there was a line. I was delighted by the broth. It was so good. Much lighter than how I normally feel about Tonkotsu broths in the US, which often highlight the fattiness of the meat. But that causes the meal to feel heavy and cause stomach problems after. I also really liked the noodles. They were thinner which really absorbed the flavors of the broth. Delicious! I would return. I would, however, suggest sticking to their noodle items versus venturing out beyond that category.
