Tu Taco

I had an amazing experience at this spot! The tacos were absolutely delicious and packed with flavour, perfectly seasoned, and topped with fresh cilantro and onions. I loved being able to try different meats, from the tender carnitas to the juicy chicken and rich al pastor. But the best, in my opinion, was the chorizo! It was full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The nachos were loaded and satisfying, with just the right balance of cheese, beans, guacamole, and toppings. The staff was super friendly and even brought us out hot sauce when we asked for something spicier, which made the meal even better. We ate outside and it wasn’t busy at all. There was lots of tables available and a really relaxed atmosphere. Portion sizes were generous, everything tasted authentic, and the price was very reasonable for the quality and amount of food we got. If you’re craving authentic, flavourful Mexican food, this is the place to go. Highly recommend the tacos (especially the chorizo!) and nachos. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We ordered 2x of their 4 street tacos through DoorDash pick up and it was sublime! Truly authentic Mexican tacos!! We will try dining in next time as the vibe and decorations inside were lovely as well

I visited the other day with a work colleague for Cinco de Mayo! We had never been here but heard lots of good things. It didn’t disappoint! The location is a fun lil spot tucked just off Kensington Road. You roll the dice at lunch for parking though. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food, as expected, was amazing. The guacamole was delicious, Berria tacos were great. We also had the 4th street tacos…. Everything was so yummy. We sat outside on their patio in the sun. With music playing, it felt like we were just off a beach somewhere. We can’t wait to come back again. Thank you

Just visited this taco spot and I’m still thinking about it! We tried a bit of everything; tortilla soup to start (so comforting and flavourful), then dove into a lineup of tacos: al pastor, chorizo, veggie, papas, carne asada, and pollo asado. Every single one hit the mark. The meats were juicy and well seasoned, the veggie options were legit; not just an afterthought and the tortillas? Perfectly done. I asked for the spicy salsa, and they did not hold back. Just the right kind of heat that adds fire without killing the flavour. Honestly, these might be the best tacos I’ve ever had in Calgary. Plus, the service was top tier friendly, quick, and super attentive. 10/10, can’t wait to go back.

The place is very cozy, and if you're looking for a true Mexican vibe, this is definitely the spot to visit. I ordered the beef birria torta dip — absolutely delicious! It was freshly made, not greasy at all, and packed with flavor. Their salsa is so refreshing and quickly became my favorite part of the meal. We also tried the burritos, and they’re a must-try when you visit. The portions are generous, and every bite was scrumptious. You definitely don’t want to miss out on this one. (It's a blast to you palette) The lady who served us was incredibly kind and friendly. I asked about the price for extra salsa, but she gave it to me for free — such a nice gesture! If you’re craving authentic Mexican food, I’d definitely recommend checking this place out.

Food is good. Could use more protein options for tacos. The price is good. They do have daily specials. I got 4 tacos and shared churro bites for dessert. My cost came to 20.00

If you want authentic Mexican food, this is definitely the place to go. I eat here every time I come to Calgary. Lovely staff and delicious food in a nice location. Love the decor of the place and the music too. Flautas with beef pictured.

Excelent service , authentic setting and food , and once you are done , order some fresh heart warming Churros. We tried several kinds of tacos , including the usual suspects , chorizo , chicken tinga, and carne asada, plus 2 interesting vegetarian options, mushroom & corn, and chipotle potato. Dog friendly patio ( water bowel and treats) , ... and , did I already say try the churros?

Tasty food and best in Tuesday imo. It's worth a try and you should be feeling the tacos as there's a limited selection of others.

Waited 40+ minutes for my order just for them to forget about my order entirely. Food was okay.

The food wasn't the most authentic but has great flavour , the tacos weren't very good but the carnitas tasted pretty great chairs could use some upgrades but all in all not to bad for Alberta.
