Tu Taco

We enjoyed our time and food at Tu Taco. I got the birria tacos and recommend that you not get cheese on them. I did and they put wayyyy too much cheese and it made the soup unenjoyable for me, so I let my husband have it. He got steak nachos and a steak burrito and had to take the burrito home because they gave us so many nachos. The chips and elements of the nachos were fresh and tasty, and we would come back.

Absolutely amazing spot to eat. Plenty of room, seating, good atmosphere, friendly service and the food is 100% authentic Mexican and delicious! I ordered the QuesaBirria tacos and the consome was perfectly done. Seasoning on point. Crunchy soft and amazing mouthfeels. If you've been missing or looking for authentic food, THIS is YOUR TACO spot. Tu Taco, paisano.

We were visiting MB and looking for new food spots, and stumbled on Tu Taco while searching nearby. So glad we did! The food was amazing—authentic, fresh, and super tasty. The place was clean, the service was quick and friendly, and the prices were great too. Only thing I’d change is wishing the horchata was homemade, but other than that, this will definitely be a go-to whenever we’re in the area! 🌮

Great little spot if you are looking for Mexican food. After a long day of baseball, my son wanted a burrito for dinner to celebrate his victory. Decided to come here and give it a try. He ordered a beef burrito with everything, I order 3 chicken tacos with everything on it. The burrito came out nice and plump, filled with steak and other fixings. My tacos were also a good portion. The burrito was delicious with fresh ingredients. My son devoured the whole thing in no time. The chicken tacos were also wonderful. Definitely hit the spot. Did I mentioned the price was very reasonable as well.

Chorizo taco, al pastor taco. Most taco spots won’t give you al pastor with pineapples in it, they did n more. Was delicious, I liked the chorizo more so what does that tell you. I’ve had plantains a thousand times, never with chocolate. I like that layer, will definitely take that home with me n try somewhere else. Highly recommend 💯

Staff is super friendly. Small location but they have a good amount of dine in seating available. Very clean and good atmosphere. Prices are FANTASTIC!!! Food is FANTASTIC!!!! We ordered Take Out and were pleasantly surprised at the great presentation and the amount of food. Al Pastor Tacos, rolled tacos and beans are delicious. We highly recommend Tu Taco when you visit Myrtle Beach!!!!

T is for Tu Taco (1 of 2 for T): Introduction to Tu Taco: My last review was from the Myrtle Beach Labor Day holiday trip. On Saturday, August 31, 2024, a group of us parked by the beach not far from the Sky Wheel. People were all on different pages on what to eat. We were thinking of seafood and looking for deals on the coupon app too. We saw a rooftop place but it was more of a bar. Finally, I suggested a South American restaurant, which sounded good in this center. We walked up the way a few minutes & across the busy US 17 Business. They were short-staffed and no one came around to even get water, drink orders, or anything. Plus, we were crowded around a seat by the bar area. After 10 minutes of hunger sitting there, I'm looking on Yelp what else was nearby. I suggested Tu Taco, and we went with that. Tu Taco was a bit chaotic too, but it was simply waiting for a cashier and ordering at counter. One thing in Myrtle Beach is that a lot of the restaurants charge a credit card fee to the customer. This was only our 1st night here. I instinctually paid with my credit card and noticed the extra 4% fee or whatever. I told them I didn't know. I told them refund the card, and I'll pay cash over $1 difference for my g/f & I's meal. Staff was cordial. Tacos were excellent and hit the spot. We also got a sweet tea, which ended up being too sweet, but I was able to refill with something else. Overall, this was a positive memory of Myrtle Beach and could potentially return if in the area.

Authentic vibe and a great place for a quick bite. We got takeout and it did not disappoint. The burrito was massive and delicious! The employees behind the counter were very friendly and made for a great experience. I would highly recommend.

Holy tacos was it loud as a mofo in here...they had their Spanish language music absolutely blasting. No possible way we could eat inside and have a conversation. They had 2 tables out front and we were lucky enough to get one. I would definitely suggest doing take out if you decide to go here. Additionally, they hit you with a 4 percent service charge if you use your credit card, which they did not disclose and they do not have any signs up saying so. I friggin' hate it when restaurants charge you extra to pay with a credit card. To me, it's like charging me for ketchup if I order French fries. The burritos we had were made to order and overall were pretty good, but ABSOLUTELY NOT worth the 11 or 12 bucks plus tax that was charged. I'd be happier with about a 7 dollar price point. Burritos are pretty filling, though not overly huge. Again, not worth 12 bucks. Be aware, the chicken burrito I got had a lot and I mean, A LOT of raw onion. It was overpowering and changed the texture in a big way too. Definitely didn't like that. Locals tip : if you have the Attractions Coupon Book (which is not free), Tu Taco has 2 Bogo coupons for a free menu item upt to 12 dollar value. No free wifi inside. Crappy old fountain soda machine inside if you want a soda. They're $2.95. All in all, we definitely felt like this place was not budget friendly for what you get. Doubt we'll go back.

The food was very good. My husband ordered a chicken burrito and it was very good and very large. I had the combo platter which was chicken, rice, salad, and refried beans. My son had three chicken tacos and they were very good. Our meal with drinks and tax was 37.00. We thought the food was good value and we enjoyed everything.

This restaurant is totally ok. We had tacos, a carne California burrito and churros. The carne asada wasn't very seasoned. The shrimp on the shrimp taco was in small pieces (or very small shrimp). We were happy with our meal, but it wasn't anything outstanding.

Went there for lunch on a Wednesday and it was packed. When you go to a Mexican joint and it's all Hispanic workers and half the customers as well, you know it's legit! I had steak and chicken tacos, chips and salsa, and they were excellent! I wish there was one closer to me, but I'll be there many more times!!!

I can't say enough good things. The food is excellent, their homemade hot sauce is the best, ask for it at the pick up counter. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I love coming here with my family. Seating is bench style and there are outdoor tables.

Yelp ratings are correct. For lunch order at counter , we had chicken tacos and they were good. The burrito was huge and stuffed full. It was large enough to share. The manager? Checked on us to see how we liked. We had our service dog with us, and he was also welcome.

This place is so good! They are super affordable and the service was excellent. Their shrimp has a great flavor. We ordered a shrimp quesadilla and two burritos. It was all delicious and glad we picked this place for dinner! They also are open a lot later then most which is very convenient.

This place lived up to all the five-star reviews. We tried the el pastor, beef, and chicken street tacos. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked and the shells held up just fine. The chips were just good, but the smoky salsa that came with it was as good as we've had. We finished up with the street cord in a cup - it was really good, too. There is plenty of parking (it's a strip mall), the service was excellent, and the prices were at the low end. This is now our goto place when we come to Myrtle Beach!

This was my second time eating at this specific restaurant. My first time was probably about a year ago when my brother had ordered from there and I think accidentally got an extra order of tacos and gave them to me to try out. I was blown away so I was super excited to try again and actually order for myself. The restaurant was pretty busy for a week weekday lunchtime Rush I would advise maybe ordering ahead ordering online as if you order in person it's not something that you can get pretty quickly. You may have to wait a little bit as I did, but I will say that the ambience of the restaurant and the cleanliness of the restaurant is not something that Would make you uncomfortable to wait for your food. The restaurant was very clean. There's a few seats for dining in as well as seats for waiting to carry out for your meal the front desk waitress, who was taking orders was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu so she was able to answer any questions that you may have when I went this afternoon. I ordered two sets two orders of Beria tacos, rice beans, and plantains. I will say that the rice was a little bit undercooked as it was hard, but the beans were tasty and the plantains were a little bit burnt, but maybe that is something that I can request Next time when I order to have them not be so overcooked overall Tu TACO a great place for authentic Mexican tacos at a reasonable price located not far from the beach so there's something you could pick up maybe before a beach day or for lunch while you're at the beach.

My first order for delivery was a Birria taco and churros for my Grandson (age 21) last Sunday and he thought they were great! On the following Sunday my daughter and I ordered a chicken quesadilla and the Asada fries. There was a substantial amount of meat in both and each had good flavor but both the meats in each item were either overcooked or over-seared and inedible. Hesitant to order again.

We have been dying to find anything similar to Mexican food that we had in Southern California! The owner that we talked with said his inspiration was to have as authentic as they do under to bridge (Coronado Island)! All the cashiers and servers were very friendly and knowledgeable. There was plenty of seating and had a nice Spanish flare!

Go where the locals go! The food was wonderful. The staff were helpful. Just a good vibe.

First off walk in the restaurant you're greeted immediately and get to sit at the bar and order my food. I did order it to go even though the ambience and the vibe of the restaurant is very inviting. I said how to drink at the bar waited on my food And I have to say it is absolutely delicious and they were very considerate in the way that they let me custom order my taco all around the employees were very friendly inviting and the food is amazing. Definitely a restaurant that I would check out if you haven't also they're happy hours really good deal and great environment.

Food was delicious, service super friendly, clean restaurant. I've been coming here every year when I am in town and they never disappoint, they only get better. 5/5 recommend, chicken torta, steak burrito, and the raspberry chimis!

Visited for the first time while in town with family and we overall enjoyed our experience. This spot looks fresh a small owned which is always a plus in my book. We ordered the steak asada fries, 2 steak bowls and 1 chicken and 1 chorizo tacos. Everything was pretty complete and tasty although imo the chicken was a little not to my liking. The service was friendly even while busy and having to redo 2 of our orders due to a miscommunication. The ambiance is nice but on a hot summer day we felt it was cooler outdoors than indoors so that was slightly uncomfortable. All in all though this is a great spot with plenty of parking as well.

Asada tacos? Yes, please. Everything on them, yes, please. Did you try the red and green salsas? Yes, please! Wait, they've got birria sopes?? Yes, please! Friendly staff, super tasty food. Run, don't walk. Get you some!

Good portion of meat on tacos, the horchata though it's nasty. The sope was good and the elote in a cup needs a bit of more spice. It was bland

Found this place because my niece wanted taco bell Chalupas. Looked at the reviews and decided to give it a try. Authentic Mexican food. Fast and friendly service. And the food was amazing and portions generous.

Hit this place up looking for some good Mexican food here in Myrtle Beach. Very disappointing. The steak and chicken were dry!!!!!!! Come on now! Asked for spicy salsa and got wannabe spicy mayo????!!! Really. Guacamole was good. Will not be back.

The best place we ate during our trip. If you don't mind a slight walk in great distance to the boardwalk. Moderately priced for the area. Curios were very nice.

A small Resturant with amazing food. My family of 7 came in for dinner. Food and service was fantastic! Locals love it too as you can tell by the revolving door of pick up orders. This is all made to order food, free refills on drinks and very clean. Did I say the food is wonderful ? Because it is! Definitely recommend if you are looking for great food at a reasonable price!

Steak tacos were VERY GOOD! However the el pastor tacos were not our favorite, but overall good food, good proportions, and friendly service!

Excellent authentic home style Mexican. I had the Barilla tacodillas which were amazing and made with beef brisket. Our table also had chips and salsa, guacamole, chicken tostadas, chicken burritos and street corn all were amazing with the exception of the street corn which had been frozen corn, but otherwise it was well seasoned and tasty. They have a couple of beers on tap. Beer was cold and delicious! The people are very friendly and politely offer assistance in ordering and answering questions. The building is clean and tidy, the Employees were all well presented and in uniform. I recommend Tu Taco and look forward to returning.

They upsold me from the birria tacos to the birria tacos con queso for $2 more which to be fair were pretty good. Would come here again.

Food was good and service was friendly. Nice small location and clean bathroom. Negatives would be small portion for the price and paying for chips and salsa but the tiny cup of salsa isn't enough for the chips so you have to buy another salsa for $2.

Tu Taco Everything was delicious staff was very helpful and friendly service was good atmosphere was great. The part I like most was it was like a fast food restaurant not a whole lot of waiting.

High quality, always delicious, and reasonably priced. There's a reason this place is always packed for lunch. And the staff is always so nice! If you're looking for a quick stop with delicious street food in Myrtle Beach, this is the place to go!

My boyfriend took me here for a quick surprise date during our lunch breaks, so perfect! Great food and we sparked up a conversation with the workers, super friendly!

So as usual when we travel we always look for a place that has great burritos. My wife looked for the next place in Myrtle Beach and she found a great one, she said it says the owner from San Diego CA, I myself originally from San Fran Bay Area and know Cali is where the best burritos come from. We had a good feeling. So I normally don't order steak as it's so iffy to find a place that uses good quality tender steak, so often places have rough chewy steak so I go with chicken. But my gut told me go for steak. So steak it was for me and my wife and daughter chose chicken. We added a order of chips and guacamole with 3 drinks. The chips n guac were good, off to great start, then we got our burritos I noticed they were hefty, they were loaded! I took my first bite was like oh yeah think we got a winner here. After 2-3 more bites with good amounts of beef it was tender tasty and not chewy, It was very good, wife and daughter both nodded in agreement these were great burritos. Their pintos tasted very much like home made, flavor was excellent. I couldn't even finish I was full! After we were done eating I had to let them know it is great to find a great burrito restaurant. Let them know I would be writing review as I was impressed and couldn't believe they were not packed with business. So for all those in the Myrtle beach area if you on vacation or live here go stop in and give Tu Taco a try. I want them to open their next location near me in Winston a salem NC area.

Lady at the counter was very friendly! I ordered the steak California burrito and it was huge! Will be two meals for me. Hot, fresh fries, steak, pico, rice, beans, guacamole and the tortilla was toasty and browned perfectly. Steak seemed a bit sparse and I could not find the guacamole in there much at all. Beans and rice were in the burrito but were not in the description. The menu at the restaurant said it was like $11.50 but my bill was like $15 before tip. Not sure what happened as I ordered nothing else. The mild salsa was not my jam-odd tasting. The raspberry chimichangas I was told I had to go get are no more. Discontinued by the manufacturer.

Had the chicken burrito and the first few bites were so tasty with the guacamole, pico, rice and beans. Would have loved if that was the case thru the entire burrito though. Husband had a chicken quesadilla which he enjoyed as well.

I really wanted to love this place but a few things fell short. I've lived in California and Texas, so I have high standards for the West coast style food here. Limited seating, plenty of parking available. Friendly owners, good prices, blaring music. Pineapple Agua Fresca $3.50 was decent. Al pastor taco was pork and pineapple -- needed more seasoning. Shrimp taco is the thing to get! Think bang bang shrimp! Street corn tasted like canned corn. Churros were tasty! 3.5 stars really-- I rounded up .

THIS PLACE! If I could afford to I'd eat here every day. I absolutely am obsessed with the street corn. The employees are also very sweet. Very cute place!

Great little place for fresh and fast street tacos and more! Everything was made fresh to order very quickly. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service was outstanding, and the staff was very friendly and considerate. The Decour was pretty cool. I loved all the little signs and multiple pictures throughout the establishment.

This place is incredible. So good, we ate there 3 days in a row when we were on vacation. Well seasoned, friendly staff, quick, and not too pricey. Cant wait to go back the next time we're in Myrtle.

Wow, I found a place to get a good burrito. It reminds me of Cali. I'm from Oxnard so I know about burritos. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was no carnitas on menu

We had the steak quesadilla and the carne asada fries. It was $30 for the food we had and two jarritos but so worth the price especially with the amount of food they give! Def recommend. Also not to mention the sauces they give are AMAZING.
