Yelp
Tubs has been around since the early '80s, and this gourmet sandwich eatery has an extensive menu offering tuna, ham/bacon, turkey, beef, chicken, and vegetarian sandwiches, in addition to salads and kid options.
We came here for an early lunch, and ordered:
+the Phoenix - a toasted baguette with garlic mayo, cream cheese, raspberry-chipotle sauce, cheddar cheese, turkey, and bacon, with lettuce and tomatoes
+the Godfather - a toasted baguette with garlic mayo, pesto, roast beef, hard salami, Parm, and provolone, with lettuce and tomatoes
+the Tokyo Club - a toasted baguette with honey-wasabi mayo, sliced avocado, roast beef, bacon, and provolone with cucumbers, lettuce, and tomatoes
The sandwiches are super generous in size and easily shareable between 2, maybe 3 people, and well-stacked. The ingredients are fresh, but I wish they were more heavy-handed with the sauces/spreads.
The place gets extremely busy, with in-person ordering as well as call-ins. There's limited seating inside, and a couple of picnic tables situated outside.
Parking is available, but can be filled up quickly; however, most get their orders to go, so you'll be able to grab a spot in no time.
