"Tucci’s, a staple on the Boca pizza scene for more than ten years, recently moved to a larger location in October of last year. Continuously attracting a dedicated local clientele with its wood-fired pizzas, Tucci’s signature offerings include the Chump—a decadent five-cheese white pizza topped with meatballs and pepperoni, served with sauce on the side." - J. First time here and thought the food was great! I did come before the crowd, so I can't really say how too much about service but ours was super sweet and checked on us multiple times. (I've seen reviews saying service is bad. I didn't have that problem) Now, they don't have the regular soda everyone is used to so know that before you go if you're a big soda person like my mom's bf who said it was okay. The coke reminded of a lighter cream soda flavor. The spinach app was delicious! I got the pink sauce pasta with grilled chicken and loved it! (Hopefully future visits will be just as good because it's hard finding a yummy pasta dishes now a days) My mom and her bf got a half Margherita and half spicy bbq. Mom loved hers. Bf said his was good but cooked a little more than he'd like. I took a bite of the Margherita and the flavor was good but wish there was more sauce. The five stars is really for the pasta because I haven't had a yummy sauce like that in awhile...my mom wanted to steal my dish!

🌟 Tucci’s – a Taste of Italy in Florida 🌟 On a friend’s recommendation, I decided to visit Tucci’s, and I’m convinced the name wasn’t chosen by chance. The owner was likely inspired by Stanley Tucci, the Golden Globe-winning actor and renowned culinary enthusiast. This cozy and welcoming spot instantly makes you feel at home. Despite the chilly weather, the warm atmosphere made up for it. The young man at the reception, though asking us to wait 10 minutes, seated us in just 3-4. The staff was all smiles – friendly, energetic, and attentive – adding to the overall charm. 📜 The menu is short but brilliantly crafted. 🍕 Tucci Margherita Pizza – thin, crispy crust, plenty of cheese, and a rich tomato sauce. Una vera pizza italiana! 🍖 Meatballs – two large, juicy meat patties, sliced in half, topped with a flavorful sauce and a generous layer of cheese. Delizioso – highly recommend! 🍗 Chicken wings – seasoned with fragrant herbs, crispy fried onions, and garlic. The first batch was slightly overcooked – maybe the chef was distracted by a bella ragazza in the dining room (just kidding! 😄) – but the re-order was spot on: juicy and perfectly spiced. Bravo! 👨‍🍳 It’s clear that the owner, a charming Italian named Alberto, knows his craft. The price-to-quality ratio is on par with what you’d find in Italy – slightly higher, but absolutely worth it. The kids loved it, which is always a good sign! 👍 Tucci’s is definitely a place worth revisiting. Highly recommended, especially if you’re dining with bambini. Grazie e alla prossima! 🇮🇹 P.S. It would be great if the menu included a truffle pizza and a separate pear pizza. I’m sure both would be a hit! 🍕👌 It would also be amazing to see burrata with truffle on the menu – that would definitely become a favorite! ✨ 😉

This is a very enjoyable pizza. Hits all the right notes and you crave the second slice before you finish the first. I'd classify Tucci's as a cross between John's of Bleecker and Frank Pepe on Wooster St. They are getting excellent results from their wood-fired oven. The dough stretch, sauce and cheese ratio and flavor are super. Can't wait to return again when I'm over on this coast.

Google
Don't bother going here. Just because I think it's the best pizza around doesn't mean you need to prove it to yourself. It's hard enough to get a seat, find your own place... J/K... Well, not about being the best around. If you like a great sauce, just the right amount of cheese, lots of choices, a thin and crispy, not burned crust, this may be your oasis. They take no reservations, so if you aren't there early, you might have to wait for a table, but it's worth the wait. Take out it's an option, but pizza is always better right out of their oven.

Google
We ordered take out and they forgot the basil on the Margherita pizza which was a disappointment, BUT everything else was delicious. The meatballs were some of the best i’ve had and the sauce with them was perfect, it tasted homemade. The cheese pizza was also great. Perfect thin and crispy crust with great flavor!

Google
We loved this spot when it was at Mizner park. Great food and great vibe. They moved further north and opened a bigger location and to be honest I liked the smaller place. The service was better and you could see the pizza being cooked. At the new location each time I have to look for my server who’s left us unattended for a while to get my check. What really drives me nuts is how close the tables are. If there is only 2 of you, plan to eat with another couple because that’s what it feels like each time I’ve gone. It’s uncomfortably close and I hate hearing about everyone else’s life over my own convo. Additionally we only come for the chump pizza and we always ask for extra sauce up front and we never get it. We always have to ask multiple times. Please stop being stingy with the sauce. This is what makes this pizza phenomenal. I’ll pay extra whatever it is, just give it to me please.

Google
Absolutely on my Mount Rushmore of pizza places. Their crust and sauce are impeccable and the quality hasn't changed in the 11 years I have been eating there. Try their wings. They are incredible.

Google
This Pizza was so good. I came here on the recommendation of David Portnoy. Pizza was extremely tasty. Prices are pretty high, but it doesn’t matter when the pizza is this good.

Gary L.

Yelp
Hate leaving reviews after one trip ...but as an incredibly pretentious and picky pizza connoisseur....damn Gina! If there's better pizza in Florida ?!? I'd be shocked. Better than most up in NY as well. Run !!

Lori W.

Yelp
We have been big fans since we moved here 3 years ago- their previous location & now the one on Yamato. Tonight I veered from my standby mushroom & opted for roasted peppers. Fiance added spicy sausage (his usual) and we had an Italian salad - always delicious. Believe our server was Lea - hope I am correct. She was the best: friendly- courteous - checked in on us. Just GREAT pizza

Dustin L.

Yelp
This is some of the best pizza I've had in Boca and will make this a regular spot. I got the margarita pizza with pepperoni added on. Service was quick and friendly. The pizza was super thin how I like it and held up really well. Everything tasted fresh and I devoured it. The only thing I'll say I didn't notice or taste any basil on it, but it didn't affect the enjoyment. Can't wait to come back.

Adam L.

Yelp
Great wood fired pizza. Also had the Eggplant Rollatini - amazing - great sauce! Kinda cross between new haven and New York style pizza.

Alisa M.

Yelp
The Bbq chicken pizza is beyond delicious and the crust is perfection. Service is generally quick once you are seated at the table and staff has usually friendly and accommodating. There is not much ambience, so I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic night out but it is great for a family dinner.

Andrea H.

Yelp
This was my first time at the new location on Yamato Rd. It's bigger, and brighter but I have to admit, the old location was so full of charm and character, not to mention, much closer to my home...the pizza is still great and totally worth the drive cross town! When Dave Portnoy gives it an 8.1 you know it has to be good. The pizza I ordered was everything you dream of and more. Just plain cheese and meatball, nothing fancy. The coal fired crust was thin and crisp cooked to perfection. All fresh ingredients and the sauce makes the pie. This is the best pizza in Boca. If you haven't been, you're missing out.

Georgann H.

Yelp
Pizza has gone downhill; salad had no dressing; couple next to us had to ask for more too. Service has always been bad; kept going for the pizza but not anymore. Server stands there while you're filling out your bill on the handheld device!!! Can't stand that!!! Never again!!!!!

Dennis S.

Yelp
I've never been disappointed at Tucci's. Last night was no exception. We shared a Rossi deconstructed salad with raisins, walnuts, feta, tomato, mixed greens, and quite honestly, I could have been happy just eating the salad, it was that good. One large served four of us. The pizza was a split, one half sausage and mushrooms, the other side was just chicken for our friends. The sausage, your choice of either sweet or spicy (we chose spicy) was amazing! Great sauce, just the right amount of toppings, thin, wood-fired crust, we had to thank the gods above there wasn't any more to eat because we'd have been rolled out of there! All drinks are bottles. The service wasn't stellar, but it's more mom and pop with the best food. The wait to get in wasn't terrible, about 15 minutes. Parking can be challenging, but we always find a spot. You won't look anywhere else if you go just once. Enjoy!

Thelma K.

Yelp
Terrible customer service. Arrived and was told I had to wait 15 minutes for a two top when there was four tables available. They allowed three people to sit that walked in 12 minutes after me and would still have me waiting. Horrible management policy!

Arthur G.

Yelp
Tucci's is one of our go to restaurants in our town. I've reviewed them before , yet a good thing or place is always worth praising again. We started at Tuccis when they were in downtown Boca, and we continue the story in Yamato. Great pizza. Great salads great meatballs, the best ice tea in a bottle I've ever tasted, so how much better can it be? The service is always good, the ambiance is the ambiance of a pizza place, just perfect There are a bunch of good pizza restaurants in Boca and Tuccis is right there with the best!

Bryan R.

Yelp
This was the best pizza we have had in South Florida hands down. We have dined in and ordered take out. Every time without exception it was delicious pizza. Great job! I recognize that pizza can be a particularly hot topic, Chicago deep dish vs. NYC thin, types of sauce or cheese or crust, but for me, this is exactly the kind I enjoy. This may not be your style, and I get it, but for me, it's the best around. Highly recommend.

JP M.

Yelp
Tuccis is a great spot. Definitely one of the cheese pizzas I've had in Florida, not just in Boca

Marcella E.

Yelp
I always have a wonderful experience at Tucci's! Their new location is spacious and everyone is always super nice. Pizza is always a 10/10

Steve G.

Yelp
Went into Tucci's at 730 for 2 people, there were 4 or 5 tables available but they all seated 4, I was told I had to wait until a table of 2 was available, this is the 2nd and last time this will happen to me. I left and went to Pepe's who gladly seated me at a table of 4. BTW the Pizza was also better

Michael G.

Yelp
Awesome food and great service. Absolutely delicious food. Had pizza and the wings, both were top notch.

daniel c.

Yelp
I love the crisp and char on the pizza. This is my new pizza spot in Boca. I was very impressed with the quality and presentation. I'm from New Jersey and this is better than most pizza in NJ

Kenneth T.

Yelp
Thin tasty new your style, crispy, fresh pizza. High end service with nice clean decor.

Ron A.

Yelp
I really liked the character of the old place and the location. The new place is like a bright shiny penny...but the pizza is still great!

Laurie S.

Yelp
I had dinner here for eight the other night to celebrate my adult son's birthday. Everything was delicious. I wish they were able to take reservations because I had so many people but everything worked out fine. The server was a little young and inexperienced, but did an adequate job. She could probably benefit from some customer service coaching. For example, not saying "no problem"

Zariel K.

Yelp
Best pizza in Boca hands down. Not even close! Thank me later @EatAndRateIt Love the large pie with basil and the 1st Ave. Don't miss out

Rimem,Llc R.

Yelp
Male host was very rude. We were 4 adults and a baby and were refused a four top that would accommodate a high chair. There were 2 six tops in the restaurant that were not available to us. Several groups arrived after us who were seated. We were told that there was one table to accommodate us. We had been waiting quite a long time and decided that our business was not desired.

John C.

Yelp
Excellent pizza, excellent service. I've been in Florida since 2012 and have read so many reviews on Yelp about various pizza joints that are supposedly so good you lick your fingers, only to find out they serve total glop. Or, NY pizza or CT pizza now just like home, now here! Only to discover it's a big nah. So my skeptisism is high and Tucci's is the real deal. If thin and crispy is your thing with REAL pizza sauce, not overly sweet dessert sauce, you'll love it. When we arrived at 5pm (opening) it was packed. Good sign. Definitely recommend.

Jaci K.

Yelp
Tucci's was on Barstool pizza's channel, so of course I had to give it a shot. I made the mistake of coming for a family lunch around 12, and realized they were only open for take out. We placed an order and sat in the park across the street while we waited, so it wasn't too bad. The pizza overall was pretty tasty. Very thin, small amount of sauce, small amount of cheese. Not my cup of tea, but I know many people enjoy this type of pizza. Garlic bread was SMOTHERED in garlic. If you're a garlic lover, don't pass this up!

Jessica F.

Yelp
I like a good pizza. Crispy crust, light on the sauce, natural products and tasty toppings. Everything is made fresh in house, even the meatballs!! I am not a lover of meatballs at all but these were exceptional!! I ordered a small pizza truly big enough to share. Highly recommend it! Very good pizza!!

Theodosios C.

Yelp
Pizza. OKAY. Very small thin crust Slices with a SOLID flavor when it comes to taste. However I mistakenly gave TUCCI'S higher praise the last time I had Pizza from here. OVERRATED.

Cjorn E.

Yelp
Great food worth the hype it's better to eat it while it's hot though I wouldn't suggest warming it back up doesn't taste the same

Gina P.

Yelp
Tuccis is one of my favorite spots for Coal fired pizza. I've been here several times and I've always had a great meal. Yelp check in gets you a free glass of wine or beer. I usually always get some sort of app/salad and a pizza. My most recent visit we ordered meatballs and garlic flatbread. This is great combo to dip the flatbread into the delish sauce that the meatballs come in. The meatballs were so good and flavorful. I also recommend the wings which are delicious crispy from the coal fire oven with caramelized onions and rosemary. Some of the best wings you'll ever have. For pizza we got the Tony G and added mushrooms. It was fantastic and we brought 3 slices home. It's a tiny spot and can get busy so be prepared to wait when coming at peak times. Nevertheless it is worth it.

Michael S.

Yelp
Our new favorite pizza place! Nice crispy crust with great tasting sauce and toppings. We will definitely be back!!!

Jessica F.

Yelp
Hidden gem? I see reviews from dating back from many years ago, yet this was my first time dining. Our server was friendly and helpful with figuring out portion sizes. Though small, there was plenty of seating outside and inside. The wings were absolutely incredible--loved the wood fire touch, rosemary, garlic and onion dry rub and sautéed Vidalia onions. The Rossi salad half size was plenty to share with 2-3 people or as an entree on its own. The spicy sausage was *chef's kiss* on the crispy, flavorful pizza.

Joseph P.

Yelp
Great restaurant. Had the wings meatballs and a large pizza with sausage and veg on it with a bottle of Pinot Nice restaurant

Ricky D.

Yelp
I thought Tucci's was quite average and forgettable but before delving into the unpleasant negatives I will focus on the positives. Parking is easy and free. The service was fine. Prices are very reasonable. Perhaps because we went early, we had no problem getting quickly seated. We did not only try pizza but went through a cross-section of their menu and this included some hits and some misses; Meatballs were good and at $13.95 for an appetizer they were also a bargain. Pasta seemed like a bargain at $13.95 however it was reminiscent of a bad buffet item and lacked taste with a watery sauce that had no flavor. The inexpensive "Bliss Chicken" which is their Chicken Parm was okay and was roasted instead of fried. Of course the pizza is the star here and the reason Tucci's is popular but I was disappointed. Perhaps because the friends I went with are from The Bronx (like me) and Manhattan and Brooklyn - we just didn't think the pizza was special. Though the crust had a nice char it wasn't to our liking and the sauce was just okay. Not terrible but not memorable either. In the last year or two we have seen a proliferation of pretty good pizza places in East Boca and East Delray and as such I see no reason to rush back.

Joel K.

Yelp
Went with another couple. We shared an order of 10 wings to start. Very good. Ordered 2 small pizzas. one plain cheese and one mushroom. Both came out as ordered. On the well done side. Thin crust was very good Service was very good. All pros Cons no reservations. They do take your phone number so you can wait in your car. We met at 6:30 20 min wait. No fountain drinks only bottles ( no refills) and no straws. No Coke or Pepsi. Some mongrel brand.. Cost $90.00 for the 4 of us including generous tip Making planes to go back Weds night.

Greg S.

Yelp
Tuccis stands out in the area for their quality. Everything is fresh - the dough, the sauce, and the cheese. The dough has a bit of char on the crust but the pizza as a whole is not charred. We order extra sauce on the pizza and on the side and there is no extra charge for either. The large is a decent size and fairly priced, especially for the quality you get. We have never eaten in, only used the takeout. When you try to order online, sometimes it does not accept orders and you need to call. Also when you order online the wait is about an hour on a Saturday at 5pm but when you call it's 20 min. So calling is definitely the way to go. they stop taking orders at 2:45pm on Saturday and start back up at 5pm but when I called to order at 2:35pm, no one answered the phone. Aside from the ordering process, this is good pizza. Definitely try it when near Boca.

Robert G.

Yelp
Came here for dinner. Busy restaurant for a Wednesday night. Once sat we had good service. Restaurant a bit loud as was crowded. We ordered ceaser salad, Tucci's wings and a large pizza. Salad was very good and fed 4. Wings excellent and very tasty. Pizza was hot and also very good. Prices reasonable. Will be back again for sure!

John M.

Yelp
Tucci's is a fantastic place for pizza. The staff is friendly and again, they have wonderful pizza. Being from New Jersey, I just took it for granted that great pizza was available on pretty much every corner. When I moved to Florida back in 2001 (hard to believe that it has been over twenty years since I moved from the Garden State), I was both shocked and more than a bit dismayed that great pizza (or even good pizza) was not readily available on every corner. In fact, here in Florida, I found that some towns didn't even have decent pizza in the town limits. So, finding good pizza was indeed a reason for celebration and what better way to celebrate than with a slice of wonderful pizza in hand? Tucci's is indeed a great pizzeria that offers great pizza and is a cause for celebrating (and again, what better wait to celebrate finding a great pizza place than with a slice of pizza in hand?). All in all, Tucci's is a great place for pizza and earns five stars as a review and also earns my recommendation.

Vlady T.

Yelp
Great pizza, but quality tends to go down fast during rush hours / weekend nights. Staff is still very friendly and efficient when all tables are occupied by hungry people of all ages. However, on the kitchen side... when you see that the huge pieces of onion are thrown on your pizza after it was removed from the oven..., or when you need to ask again for the extra topping (mushrooms in our case) and that one comes almost raw, 10 minutes after pizza was rested on your table.... that means something is not right "around the oven". Crust is still excellent, golden brown, perfectly salted (not too much, not too little). However, based on how the toppings are presented, it feels as all your pizza was done in a rush without care. Next time I'll order a cheese-only. I am criticizing this as a returning customer who loves this place (just as a parent criticizes his/her child). Please keep your standards guys, otherwise you will fall victim to your own success.

- S.

Yelp
I normally don't waste my time writing reviews for restaurants which serve poor quality food, but the pizza from Tucci's new location on Yamato Road was so bad that the people should be forewarned. Although I'm not a big fan of their old location off of Mizner Boulevard where their wood fired pizza was more often than not decent quality, the eggplant/spinach/ cheese pie my wife purchased yesterday was almost inedible. Considering it cost $27 (overpriced), not only was its presentation lacking (it looked aweful), the crust was overcooked, the cheese scarse and the sauce was tasteless! I'm seriously disappointed that they would risk ruining their reputation serving this pie! Hopefully this was an anomaly and they normally serve better quality pizza, but if not they certainly need to get the message that something is going very wrong. We've eaten wood fired pizza all over the U.S. and overseas,, and this was probably one of the worst we've ever had. The moral of this story is if it doesn't look good, don't eat it!

Mark C.

Yelp
Pizza is thin crust, has a very good crunch and quite good overall. Not sure I agree with Portnoy's rating but it's a 7.5 for me on a scale of 1-10.

Scott U.

Yelp
Great food and service. Definitely worth a visit. Our server John was super attentive and helpful.

Mary G.

Yelp
1 pasta dish No pasta with the broccoli rabe Prosecco served in a wine glass No garlic bread, just a flatbread No regular onions! Red or carmalized!

Yolanda V.

Yelp
Omgosh Jersey Girl here loving this new spot the pizza, the PIZZA was absolutely delicious for me it's all about the SAUCE and the crust was thin and perfect, I actually didn't feel like a cow after oh and we had a bottle of Pinot Grigio it was awesome! A definitely return spot oh wait and my server was amazing.

Dan S.

Yelp
On Sunday June 25th at around 5pm we called to make a reservation for 10 people. A female employee answered and told us they don't take reservations and that it's first come, first served. At that time, I asked if there was a wait.... She responded "I told you already, it's first come first served" and hung up the phone. We ended up eating at Anthony's Coal Fire Pizza (which is quite tasty) and never ate here. We definitely won't be coming nor taking our friends to Tucci's after such an unwelcoming interaction.

Gabriela L.

Yelp
The best pizza and great food! Everything was super good and fresh. The service was also very good. Does not take long to get your food. The restaurant was packed with people but we sat down in under 20 minutes. The restaurant is nice with TVs to watch shows. Overall it was very good place to eat at!

Ali K.

Yelp
This place just opened its new location in Yamato and it's so cute and convenient. I went with my 3 kids and saw a few other kids there too. It's pretty kid friendly. We got some pizzas and a salad. Everything was quick and delicious! Great place for pick up too.

Lola Q.

Yelp
What's the point. ‍ We called they put us on hold for 10 minutes then they hung up. We called back 3 times and either no answer or they picked up said nothing and hung up. I'll just go to Tomassos on Palmetto.

Mark R.

Yelp
Have eaten Pizza all over the states, the top spot being New Haven Connecticut so we were looking for a place for a great pie in FL. Stumbled upon Tuccis and it was great! The Tony G was definitely our favorite and would order that again !

Alex G.

Yelp
Best wings, pizza and salads in Boca. Great crispy wood fire crust with an amazing selections of pizzas. The wings are crispy and the spicy bbq sauce should be illegal it's so good. Yummy salads and perfectly dressed. Great service

Nina S.

Yelp
This is our go to place for pizza and escarole and beans. If you can't get in consider getting it to go because it's kinda small. John the manger is awesome. Never had a bad meal. I do wish they had mix drinks though. I would have taken a photo but I was busy eating.

Andres B.

Yelp
Ordered online, great pizza, great service, despite the Friday night rush. Highly recommended
