I had such a good time riding around the different neighborhoods near downtown. I got to see lots of cool sights I wouldn’t have seen just driving around the city. Lorraine was a great tour guide and I have a different opinion about Tucson as a city now!

Mike Rudd

Google
Great tour! We did the taqueria tour while living in Tucson. Outstanding places to eat, unique way to explore some beautiful neighborhoods, and a chance to learn about the city. The riding was spaced out and not difficult, if you are in decent physical shape and comfortable with city rides. Three stops and many murals along the way! Highly recommend, Loraine was wonderful.

Google
A great way to explore Tucson on a bike with an experienced guide is with Tucson Bike Tours. We did the Taco bike tour and Lorraine has created a tour with very little traffic that takes you through some historical mexican neighborhoods in South Tucson. We stopped at three places during the ride to sample some delicious tacos and a sonoran hot dog. Lorraine's expertise and friendly manner were greatly appreciated.

Google
Great way to see Tucson. Guide, Jim, is very knowledgeable and fun. Got to see many great sites in downtown and in the surrounding eclectic neighborhoods. We even got fresh empanadas at a great bakery. Would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore Tucson.

Google
Took the mural tour while in town for our honeymoon. Jimmy is great - very knowledgeable and fun. We loved this tour. It was a great way to see the downtown area and different neighborhoods. Highly recommend the tour and would suggest taking it early in your stay in Tucson - that way you’ll see places you’ll want to visit and spend more time in.

Google
We took the taco bike tour. Lorraine is fantastic, and we really enjoyed our tour. The bikes were very easy to ride and gearless. Lorraine guided us easily around town sharing murals and local history on the way. We stopped at 3 places and had 3 (or 4 if you’re hungry) tacos and a Sonoran hot hotdog which was completely amazing. Finished by taking the bike loop with beautiful views along a well paved bike trail. Highly recommend!

Google
Great lil tour. Awesome way of getting to know Tucson. Highly recommend to do it early in your trip to Tucson so you get oriented and know where to visit. Jimmy will point out some popular spots and his favorites, (thanks for the heads up on Exo Coffee!). Some good photo ops. The tour is pretty mild in terms of physical activity (for me), there are only 3 very mild climbs, but even in winter I got a lot of sun.

Google
Great way to check out the different districts of downtown Tucson. At first I was nervous that the group size was a little larger than the 8 people I expected and that there was a large family with a difficult child, but Lorraine handled it all like a champ and ensured it didn’t hurt our experience. Lorraine was so sweet and a very knowledgeable guide.

Kat M.

Yelp
This was a great way to see murals in Tucson in a variety of neighborhoods. Lorraine, our guide, was knowledgeable and safety conscious.

Kim L.

Yelp
Had an awesome time with Lorraine guiding the way!! Very enjoyable and easy ride through the city of Tucson to see some amazing murals!! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Great tour! This is the best way to see Tucson and most of its historic sites and neighborhoods. In 2.5 hrs I got to visit most of the places I had in my To Go Visit list! Thank you Jimmy for showing us around and for the delicious pumpkin empanada! Till the next time :-)

Yelp
My husband and I took the historic Tucson tour with Jimmy today. We arrived near the meet up spot an hour early and walked around downtown for an hour. With Jimmie we covered far more ground and learned way more about Tucson in two hours than we could have in a weekend. Jimmy was a wealth of local knowledge on anything from history to geography to local food and restaurants. The tour was well organized and good for all levels as the land is flat and there are frequent stops. I'd highly recommend taking one of these tours if you're interested in the history of Tucson and getting the lay of the land. Definitely do it early in your trip as you'll likely want to return to some of the points of interest.

Yelp
We had an awesome time with Jimmy on our historic bike tour of Tucson. Super safe, really fun, and very interesting. The bikes worked great, helmets and water were provided. Very clean and Covid conscious. I would absolutely recommend!

Yelp
My family and I had a great time on our bike tour with Jimmy. He's super friendly and full of interesting facts about Tucson. We saw things we probably never would have seen in Tucson. I loved riding through the little neighborhoods and stopping at an awesome bakery for an empanada. Very fun way to spend an afternoon!

Yelp
First time visitors to the city so we were looking for an interesting way to see Tucsón. We had a great time, the City is pretty flat so the ride wasn't strenuous and the exercise was welcomed. Jimmy is friendly and very knowledgeable about Tucson and we definitely saw more of the city and learned more about it than we would have on our own. Definitely recommend this!

Yelp
Take this tour! It is just an awesome up close and personal way to learn about Tucson, it's history, landmarks and seeing the very interesting housing in downtown. Jimmy is WONDERFUL, so accommodating and provides so many interesting facts about they city. We rode in the city, on bike paths and all was done at a leisurely pace that anyone that rides a bike can do. Also, met some other wonderful people on the ride. Jimmy even bought us pastries on the ride. Highly recommend this fun trip for anyone.

Yelp
Had a great informative ride with the owner Jimmy well definitely recommend this to all who visit Tucson

Judy T.

Yelp
Rob is super friendly and knows a lot about Tucson. We were a family of six and all of us had a good time. The mileage was just right for all of us. Bikes were in good shape and the ride was flat and smooth. Highly recommend. We did the general tour which was a good pick for the newcomers and for the 11 year olds. Fun morning!

Yelp
Great bike tour! There really is no better way to see a city quickly than by bike. It gives you ideas on where to visit again after the tours. The bikes were comfortable and the pace was just right. Hope Tucson can keep the bike lanes well maintained and painted.

Yelp
Well organized and Jimmy knows his history. My husband and I joined the 9PM bike tour and had a blast biking thru the streets of Tucson and stopping for an AMAZING food truck dinner. I highly recommend the bike tour with Jimmy to anyone looking for something fun and interesting. Bike ride - perfect distance, easy pace on quality bikes.

Yelp
Yes! This is such a fun way to see Tucson! No hills, great guide and even a snack in the middle of the tour. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Great way to be introduced to downtownh Tucson. We love bike tours and this one did not disappoint. Thanks for the yummy treat halfway through too :)

Yelp
Super fun! And a great way to see Tucson as a first-time visitor, or long-term resident. So many interesting places/sights along the way that I revisited the next day. Late April was unseasonably hot with highs around 100, but I took the 9am tour and it was comfortable at that time of day. I am so glad that Jimmy recommended a visit to San Xavier Mission, which is about 30 minutes outside of town. What an amazing place! Jimmy, thanks and hope to ride with you again some time :)

Laurie Ann S.

Yelp
Wow! You will not find a better bike tour of Tucson period. My husband and I only had 2 days in Tucson and thought this would be a good way to see the city and learn about the history. Jimmy is very knowledgeable and took us all around town and through the university and had all the facts about history and culture we were looking for. I would highly recommend going on the 6:00 pm tour when it is not so hot and we rode after the sun went down with our bike lights. It was really a magical experience. Laurie Ann Atlanta, GA

Yelp
Great activity for a winter afternoon (morning in the summer). We rode 26km (about15 miles) with a stop for coffee. I was worried about the one-speed bike, but the trail is flat (with a small dip where it goes under main roads). The bikes were well-maintained with good hard tires. Don't wait to the last minute to book because they set up the bikes in advance for your height.

Yelp
This was my first city bike tour, ever. It was a great experience and I really enjoyed seeing a new city by bike! Jimmy was knowledgeable and personable and didn't overdo it with facts/history, etc. He gave just the right amount of information to keep it interesting and not be too long winded. The only con was that the bike seats were super uncomfortable towards the end of the ride.

Karen E.

Yelp
I had the day free while in Tucson on a business trip and decided to rent a bike and take a relaxing ride at my own pace along the fantastic paved bike trail. (Thanks for this, Tucson!) the bike was very comfortable and well maintained. Kat provided a map with points of interest and bathrooms marked. It was a joy to ride along and not worry about traffic. I enjoyed the mountain scenery and even the scrub in the wash called Rillito River which the path follows. I passed horseback riders in the wash. See if you can spot the cute little prairie dogs along the edge of the path. They blend well with the sand. Also spotted was a smiley face made of rocks, just a couple miles east of departure point.

Yelp
Great tour! Jimmy knows the city. Loved seeing the old neighborhoods. The ride is easy but you cover a lot. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Wow This was a great day and Jimmy was he best guide. Really appreciate his historical knowledge about Tucson. My son (age 22) and I Loved it and was a highlight of the trip. Book.it Kitty

Yelp
We did the 6p evening tour & had a BLAST! What a fun way to experience Tucson. From the flavors of 4th Ave, thru U of A campus, multitude of historic neighborhoods & downtown--even got to stop for authentic Sonoran hot dogs! Can't wait to ride again with Jimmy!!!

Yelp
This was a great way to see downtown Tucson and the university. Jimmy took us through the ins and outs of small streets, paths, and alleyways with many stops on this easy-paced ride to explain what we were looking at and the back story of each location.

Yelp
I have a friend that is moving to Miami Florida and for her going away party she wanted to do something active. We decided to do a bike tour. Jimmy was very knowledgeable in the history of Tucson and has a great personality. I have only lived in Tucson for three years so this was a great way to learn a lot of history about the city and in a fun way. I would love to do another bike tour when I have family in town.

Linda B.

Yelp
The owner, Jimmy, does a great job researching the best sites in Tucson. He provides single speed bikes, helmets, water and even a storage saddlebag for a camera/purse/snacks. The bikes are in good condition with cushy seats and they are well maintained. We saw the highlights of several Tucson neighborhoods and with a bike you can follow trails and cut-throughs that cars can't access. Jimmy is very knowledgeable and tells a good story. Also, he was very safety conscious. In summary, My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and even got a little workout in the process.

Yelp
The 8 mile tour was great in that you get significant amount of local history, while riding on bike. The pace is excellent, not too fast or not too slow. Jimmy our guide stopped at many neat local sites in Tucson, that as a tourist, I definitely would not have known existed. This is a great experience on many levels! A must do, if staying in Tucson!

Wendy B.

Yelp
I loved this quirky bike view of Tucson. I can't imagine I would have seen half the neighborhoods we toured in any other sightseeing outing. We learned a good bit about the city through its many interesting buildings and stories about their former or current residents. This tour is suitable for a wide range of ages and fitness levels.

Yelp
Had a great sunrise bike tour ride with Jimmy. I totally recommend it. Fun idea for out of town guests or for anyone wanting to know some of the history of Tucson.

Yelp
This was a great tour. My husband and I have only lived in Tucson for two years. Today we saw parts of Tucson that we didn't even know existed. It was about three hours of riding with stops along the way. We'll definitely do it again when we have friends come to town to visit. Thank you for a wonderful tour!

Yelp
Fun and informative! A great way to learn about the history of Tucson and see, not just the pretty side of the city, the poorer barrios as well. Virtually no hills. Easy pace. Highly recommended.

Yelp
We did a bachelorette party bike tour several weeks ago and Jimmy and Cat were amazing. They were beyond accommodating for our large party of 11. Jimmy is so knowledgeable and really makes the tour fun. Stopping for the fresh tortillas was the best! Thank you Tucson bike tours!

Yelp
My husband and I love taking bike tours wherever we go. We find it is the best way to get an overview of a city, moving slow enough to see, but fast enough to see a lot more than by walking. Tucson Bike Tours was no exception...a GREAT way to see Tucson. We covered a surprising amount of territory without it feeling like a long or tiring ride. Jimmy kept us moving at a speed a little faster than most bike tours I've been on (but there were only 5 of us), which for the sake of riding was great...but a tiny bit fast for trying to take a few pictures along the way. He knew the history of the area and fun neighborhood facts and info. He told just enough to learn something without getting bogged down in minutiae. Mid-ride Jimmy took us to Anita St. Market and got warm tortillas for all of us to try (he even brought some butter!) We enjoyed the single speed bikes, and even the couple we were with who had never done a bike tour had a really good time and were impressed with all they saw in three hours. Highly recommended!!

Kristen S.

Yelp
My mother and I had a great time on this tour. As 'locals' from Phoenix we had been to Tucson many times, but had never experienced the city quite like this. Jimmy was a knowledgeable and genuine tour guide with an easy-going attitude and a great sense of humor. Mom and I both recommend Jimmy and his tour!

Nina W.

Yelp
Our Tuscon Bike Tour was fabulous. Jimmy outfitted everyone appropriately and managed a group with mixed bike skill levels very well. Tuscon itself has strong bike lanes - so biking through the city was smooth. We did this on our 2nd day in Tuscon and it really gave us a good lay of the land. Stopped at almost all of the sites we had planned to hit in town at some point in the trip, so this allowed us to know where we might want to go again later for a longer stop (such as the artisans market). Really a wonderful way to see many of the city highlights in a relatively short amount of time. Jimmy was also super helpful answering questions we had along the way and after the ride. Definitely would recommend!

Teri S.

Yelp
Great bikes, great service, great information. Highly recommended and we'll do it again. Appreciated how owner answered early morning call to help us out. Really fun activity in Tucson!

Beth M.

Yelp
Had a great time with Jimmy at Tucson Bike Tours. There is no better way to see a place than on a bike with a guide as knowledgeable and professional as Jimmy. It was our first trip to Tucson and we got to see the best areas in and around the town center. One of the other guests is a professional tour guide and we were talking afterwards about what a good time we had. We asked her how she would rate our bike tour guide and she said he was a "10". The bikes are easy to ride and well maintained, all the equipment you need is provided, you're in very good hands for having a safe ride, and will learn a ton about Tucson. You can even get really good cafe recommendations if you need them. Thanks again, Jimmy, for a fun ride.

Mark C.

Yelp
We took the 11 mile downtown tour. Jimmy did an excellent job and had a wealth of info about Tucson history. Nice pace and wide range of neighborhoods covered. Only drawback was we didn't get tortillas because the place was so crowded. Nice trip!

Sara P.

Yelp
This really is a 5 star bike tour. My daughter and I came to Tucson for a UofA campus tour and decided a bike ride would be an excellent way to learn about the lay of the land. Boy were we in for a treat! We learned so much, saw so much and had a fun, off the beaten path ride with Jimmy. He is very knowledgeable about everything you want to know about Tucson's history, art, current events, restaurants, etc. Very much exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend this business.

Yelp
We just had a great bike ride tour with Jimmy at Tucson Bike Tours. Tucson is a unique, beautiful town to see on bikes (nice and flat). Jimmy really made it a unique experience by showing us beautiful, hidden sites, giving history and current information that was informative and interesting. We could tell that he put a lot of thought into the tour and it's a neat way to be active yet relaxed all the while. We were able to take it at our speed, had plenty of resting and water stops, and fun conversation the entire time. It was an easy, refreshing, fun afternoon on a bike and we learned a little too! You really do get a feel for Tucson in a real, raw way. It also gave us ideas on where to go later on during our stay in Tucson, after the bike tour. We highly recommend doing this bike tour, especially toward the beginning of your trip in Tucson - it'll give you a great overview of the city and where to return. Thanks, Jimmy, for your company and your quality, fun bike tour of Tucson.
