"Steak night is back thanks to bad ass butcher Leighann Smith, who moved the beloved Piece of Meat ritual to her new bar in the former Junction space in Bywater. She ripped out the wildly uncomfortable wooden booths and expanded into the former kitchen, creating lots of inviting nooks and crannies, and even repurposed some of the old beer lines for draft cocktails — but don’t worry, there are still 15 brews on tap. Thank you to Cookie and Cooper for such a lovely time! Came for Bingo around 7:30pm on a Tuesday hosted by Vanessa, who also performed some great live music. There was a pop up serving Cajun-inspired choices including burgers, tacos, quesadilla, and a rice and pork gravy plate with okra and cornbread. Everyone was friendly and just having a chill, good time.
