The 14 Best New Restaurants in West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County | Eater Miami

"Leave it to Amrit, the new hotel on Singer Island with the largest spa in Florida, to come up with a menu meant to increase vitality. Among the salads are a poached Gala apple with a frisée arugula blend or farro tossed with spiced cucumber. While other starters include a colossal seared scallop and spaghetti squash with basil pesto and marinara. Entrees run the gamut from crisp spiced marinated tofu to wild mushroom pasta to herb-crusted rack of lamb. If the cuisine doesn’t lift your energy, the oceanfront setting surely will" - Beth Landman

I read the negative reviews and I did not have high expectations. The negative reviews are absolutely accurate. The staff runs around like chickens with the heads cut off. Lots of running around with poor accomplishments. The kitchen is too far. They have to walk too much just to get anything done. We placed our order a few minutes after sitting down. 30 minutes later I told my guest 5 more minutes and we’re leaving. I kept asking if they offer bread & butter? Even that was a struggle. 3 minutes later, the soup & salad arrived. The soup was loaded with salt and cold inside a huge bowl with probably less than a cup of soup. I ran out of patience started to walk out & toasted and bread arrived. Mind you I waited 15 minutes & no beer served. We knew the main course could not have been better and we walked out. Mind you there was a table of 2 and a table of 4 that walked out before us. The table of 4 that was next to us were complaining and they had a lot of patience. The manager listened to their complaints but he walked away like he was annoyed. Too many complaints. He didn’t look like he was up to par to handle problems. I knew we were in trouble. The reviews are for real. I’m an older woman who travels frequently and loves to dine. I have lots of restaurant experience. I don’t ever remember walking away from a restaurant like I did on Christmas Day. Gordon Ramsey might be a help to you!!! This restaurant will definitely not succeed unless it brings some organization and trained staff with good quality food. I will not be interested in giving this place another try !! The best thing they have going for them is the atmosphere. This place annoyed me more than other restaurants. Not only do we go out of our way to dress up and drive to a location. We have to deal with absolutely poor service on a holiday. There was enough staff to handle the amount of patrons that were in there. This restaurant needs organization and someone to train the staff.

This restaurant has quickly become one of my favorite places to dine, especially because of the staff- they are truly some of the most joyful, kind, and attentive people, which makes every visit feel special. The seafood is always fresh and perfectly prepared, with the crispy salmon and swordfish standing out as absolute favorites. Dining on the terrace with views of the water adds to the experience in such a beautiful way. Just a heads up… it can get a bit windy, so bringing a jacket is a good idea. A wonderful combination of fresh food, incredible service, and a stunning setting!!!!

Had an amazing breakfast with a spectacular view. As a person with food allergies i was very impressed by the way the menu had everything tagged/marked with what I could eat.I normally don't go out to breakfast for this reason ! But they had more than one option and said they could accommodate me with other menu items too ! Food was delicious and service was impeccable. Also grabbed a latte from the coffee bar to see the sunrise.

Google
The restaurant was spectacular. The view is unmatched and the food and service were incredible. We had both lunch and dinner here during our stay. The cheeseburger was one of the best I have ever had. The goat cheese croquettes and Brussel sprouts were also incredible and the NY strip was cooked to perfection . We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a spectacular anniversary weekend!

My Husband and I dined at Tula restaurant, which is inside of The Amrit Ocean Resort. From the moment we entered, the service was spectacular. Our server and or Waiter was Jody! He was amazing and a fellow Leo ♌️, as I was celebrating my birthday, it was important to have an excellent time all around. His hospitality was definitely a five star. The view of the Ocean and the atmosphere was really nice. The FOOD… OMGGGG!!!! From the appetizer to the main dish, everything was absolutely worth every penny. So much so that, we cancelled our dinner reservations at Ruth’s Chris for the following evening, which is my actual birthday and made reservations at Tula instead. You can walk in or make reservations. Hands down the BEST brussel sprouts we’ve ever had and we Love dinning out. Thank you Jody for making our first experience a really good one. I recommend for sure!

Google
Great lobster roll with fries that are the kind that are not perfect looking but fantastic! It was crunchy on the outside and flavored, so we'll. The lobster was plentiful, and sauce was light. Also had the green juice with some pineapple. It was refreshing. The staff was super sweet and accommodating. Also had avocado mousse! Decadent and perfect with strawberries

Google
Amazing restaurant and service. Dominic was our server this morning - my wife and I brought our 1 year old son and Dom gave us 10/10 service. This guy was so on top of everything; making sure our kid had a mini water to drink, continually bringing fresh coffee to make sure we had a hot cup at all times, all the little things that add up to a great experience. Food was also great - Huevos Rancheros and the breakfast sandwich really hit the spot. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to experience an upscale spot.

We hit up Tula at the Amrit Hotel on Singer Island after grabbing a day spa pass, and figured we’d get some food. Gotta say, the service was pretty slow, and it took a bit for our order to come out, but man, the food was worth it. The creamy chicken soup was legit one of the tastiest things I’ve ever had, super flavorful with a little kick. The pulled chicken thigh quesadilla was crispy and awesome, especially with that creamy chipotle sauce it came with. The burger was spot-on, cooked just right, and the fries were crazy crispy. The place has a chill vibe with a sweet ocean view. Heads-up, they close from 2 to 5 PM, so time your visit. It’s the only spot to eat at the hotel, but the food’s legit. Slow service aside, we had a good time and would totally recommend it!

Yelp
We had a wonderful dinner & the service was a10+! Relaxed & Beautiful restaurant! Can't to return on our next visit to this area, just the best!

Yelp
Service was horrible. Waiter left us alone most of the time, never came back to offer more water or wine. We asked for bred and it came after we already have finished our meal. Waiter was not friendly at all. We don't even know his name. No music , no ambiance outside where we were eating.

Yelp
Great food. Personal waiter who cares. Amazing views. Part of a health resort to reverse disease and promote longevity. Can't wait for their vegan restaurant to open.

Yelp
Why was this place so empty?! We walked from our timeshare. Seated immediately. Fabulous service. Menu is small as are portions. If you are hungry then order an appetizer. I had the spaghetti squash ap followed by the garbanzo bean curry over rice. Amazing! My husband had the grilled lettuce salad followed by beet risotto with scallops. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend.

Yelp
They're open for lunch at 11 but close at 2 to prep for dinner at 5. Tula has been open for 3 months. They are offering a 3 course prefix menu ($35) through September promoted though Flavors of Palm Beach. I had the spaghetti squash tomato basil appetizer. Main was Faroe Salmon and dessert was cinnamon apple gratin with ice cream. Everything was excellent along the impeccable service.

Yelp
Kirk was our server, beyond professional. We didn't have any entrees but the appetizers and cocktails were made to make us definitely come back. The Arancini, Brussels Sprouts, and bread board made me question my cooking abilities. The Fennel pesto made me cry. Thank you Tula @ the Amrit. See you again soon!

Yelp
We had breakfast at Tula today. Our server Mitchell was exceptionally nice. They claim that all their juices are fresh squeezed in their kitchen. I ordered a combination of orange and grapefruit juice. Mitchell came back and said they had no grapefruit so I asked for orange juice and was assured it would be fresh squeezed. When it arrived, it was obviously out of a bottle. It was awful. I was unable to drink it. I informed Mitchell. My wife's dish was not prepared as described in the menu, so it had to be altered. The portions are small despite the high price . The orange juice was not taken off the bill as it should have been. Typically when a server takes something off a bill we add that amount to their gratuity. It would be difficult to come back . Anyhow, Carmines has fresh squeezed, orange juice, and if you want any, I suggest going there. We now would not ever stay at the hotel.

Yelp
I would've liked to have given this a positive review. I was looking forward to having a nice family dinner to start our vacation. This is a very limited menu. We ordered 2 appetizers to share between the 5 of us, which were tasty but definitely on the small size. When it came time to order our entrees, 2 of the 5 of us chose a seafood risotto. We were told shortly after ordering that they were out of this option. (It was 7pm on a Saturday evening). With only 5 other options, one person chose the fish and I was left feeling dejected. I didn't want to just order something that I didn't really want so I settled for an appetizer of mushroom chowder. When our food finally arrived, my chowder was tepid, small, and underwhelming. Our server stopped by to ask how everything was, and quickly left our table. When the bill arrived, we were surprised to see to see 20% gratuity added to the bill. With so much disappointment, we asked to speak with management. He was polite and apologetic. When we asked about the gratuity, he told us that it's not mentioned on the menu, but "something that they do" automatically. I make a point to be a generous tipper, but this server was phoning it in from the start. This was an overall subpar experience.

Yelp
Gorgeous spacious room with stunning oceanfront views. Jenny my server was thoughtful, explaining the menu well and paid attention to details with my choices for a late breakfast. The avocado toast and smoothie she suggested were delicious. The place settings flatware plates all so pretty.
