12/31/25. Specially stopped by to get a slice of their Hungarian cheesecake ($5). Other favorites are the large pretzels ($7.50) and Irish soda bread. Crumb cake doesn’t have enough crumbs. Service was better today than previous visits.

Fantastic range of baked goods, coffee, teas and smoothies. The front end staff were so friendly and helpful. There is a really cute sitting area. Located right by the train station very convenient to get to and there is metered parking on the street.

A gem of a bakery/cafe. If I’m in the area I always have to get one of their homemade iced tea varieties. They have multiple flavors that you can mix and match, and it’s so refreshing especially on a hot day. The service there is always great as well. The staff is helpful and attentive but not overbearing.

Oh my goodness this place is so cute! What a little hidden gem! So glad we stumbled upon this place. Not only do they have a plethora of amazing looking baked goods, but they also have a separate case of gluten free baked good as well. We got coffee as well which was yummy. They had tons of traditional Christmas cookies. The staff was super nice and friendly.

It is such a adorable place! We ordered Cappuccino, latte, mini blueberry pie, and a gluten free cranberry muffin and it was all delicious! I wasn’t expecting to have great coffee since most of bakery has so so espresso based coffee options and coffee were great as well!! All of customers called her Donna, so I assume the lady who helped us is Donna, she was very nice and welcoming. I will definitely go back to try other things.

If I could give a zero, that would be to nice. I've given the place many chances. Poor ingredients, old cupcakes and cakes. The frosting actually smelled I think it went bad. And as for the beehive in the corner if the shop CLEAN IT UP!! Some people are highly allergic and don't want to he attacked by bees when trying to order. The girl behind the counter said oh there're harmless, sure until you're stung!! I wish they would spend more time on fresh made items daily instead of focusing on the decore.

If I could give it a zero, I would, Spent almost $60 on jelly donuts and danishes to give to neighbors only to find out they were stale hard and old so embarrassing. Never again.

Great place, beautifully clean. Tables if you wanna have dessert there. Absolutely love their sugar free turnovers. Apple, Blueberry and Cherry. Big turnovers with a nice amount of fruit inside. Quality stuff. Recommended!!!!

5/5 service- very friendly 3/5 cookies- ok, all taste the same 1/5 dark chocolate- forget dark chocolate, it doesn't even taste like chocolate, more like candy melts. I got 3 different types of chocolate "dark chocolate". They were all super sweet, tasted artificial & disgusting. Don't get the chocolate.

Tulip Bake Shop made my mom's 61st birthday cake, and they absolutely nailed it! I explained everything I wanted over the phone, and they delivered exactly what we envisioned. The cake was not only beautiful but also super tasty--and all at an affordable price. This place has been a staple since my childhood, and it never disappoints. Whether it's a special occasion or just a treat, Tulip Bake Shop always comes through with quality and care. Highly recommend!

Tulip Bake Shop is a great bakery with lots of tasty homemade goodies. I also must add that the workers there are absolutely lovely including Donna and Philomena. They're both super patient with my mom and I trying to figure out what we wanted for quite some time. A couple of my favorites include their layers cake and rye bread. All in all, love having this bakery in the community and I hope it stays for many more years to come.

Purchase a couple mini cannoli's, creme puffs, mini chocolate Egg Eclairs spend about $25 must say it tasted Horrible. All of them were Stale. I gave some to my guest and they all agree w me. How embarrassing. Toss them all in the garbage. I haven't been there for a while due to my wife had a bad experience w a Birthday cake years ago I figure give it another shot but unfortunately Nothing has change. I Wouldn't recommend this place to know one. Save your money go to Butter Cookie. They just Can't get it Right.

After a really rough morning, I decided to visit the Tulip Bake Shop with the hopes to cheering up my day. I have never been to this bake shop before, but I've heard great things from my friends. Upon arrival, I was kindly greeted by one of the employees. I believe her name was Kathleen. I have never to a bake shop before, so I asked Kathleen to help me decide on a pastry and coffee. She recommended me the Apple Turnover, and it was fantastic! She then helped me pick the Maple Spice Latte for my coffee. Not to be dramatic, but this was the best cup of coffee I have ever had. This experience really brightened up my day, and I surely will be back. They definitely have a new regular customer, I can't wait to bring my friends along!

Walked in on a Sunday, and placed an order with a super friendly Nicole.  Ordered some cookies, and bread to be picked up later in the week.  Picked up said order on Saturday and dealt with a super unfriendly Filomena. My order was ready and bagged to go. I added more cookies to my order which further annoyed the employee. While their Irish soda bread and huge pretzels are delicious, I was disappointed with the challah bread. It was dry and tasteless.  The rainbow cookies are hit or miss.  Sometimes there is way too much jam.   This time was much better than my last. I ordered various flavors of rugelach cookies, but didn't receive all.  They clearly didn't refer didn't refer to my order. The flavors I did get were tasty.  Italian cookies are basic.

I hate to give a place one star and I rarely even give reviews but I purchased this Strawberry pie for a Memorial Day party/Birthday party and thankfully we noticed that this pie was molded underneath the crust. It had only been the day before that I got it and I had refrigerated it when I got home so I didn't know until the party when we went to cut into it. I know this bakery's been around a long time so I had high hopes but this is pretty terrible and had to let other people know.

Expensive prices with cheap ingredients we bought a cake with butter cream icing it's fake buttercteam loaded with grease crisco shortening whatever you want to call it terrible for your health and terrible in your mouth . The box within an hour or so was stained greasy on the outside from the cake and eating was sickening sweet greasy feeling . Trying to wash of the knife we put it under super hot water and was very hard to clean , GREASE LARD ! In a real quality butter cream hot water rinses it off in a second . Another bakery that uses inferior cheap ingredients , very few real and quality bakeries left and this is not one of them , AVOID TULIP ! Only good thing is the girls that work there are friendly .

Great little bakery in Floral Park with decent prices. There is a small seating area in the middle of the bakery for those that want to have a quick bite. They are always so nice and sweet to all the customers. We've never had a bad experience. Their rainbow cookies are one of the best that we've ever had! During the summer months, they have gelato!

Stopped at Tulip Bake Shop this past week and picked up a crumb cake to bring to a bbq. When the cake was served it was dry as a bone and stale. Not sure how long it had been sitting in their showcase. It cost $18.50 and was a total waste of my money. Never again.

Great ingredients, great pie. The simplest stuff, butter, sugar, flour, apples. Very happy not to find any oils and or syrups. I would certainly pie again. And the pie itself feels like a 5 pounder. Solid all the way through! Thanks for staying within the community and thriving!

If definitely not what it used to be. Totally overpriced. Ordered a cheesecake it was just okay. I passed on the cookies when I was told how much a pound they were I thought it was a joke actually

First time in this shop. Asked for coffee they had none, bought a blueberry coffee cake and was dry as a bone and the cake crumbled to the touch. As this is a crumb cake but still not a good Piece of cake at all. Maybe wrong choice ?

Love a trip to Tulip Bake Shop for a coffee and treats, but especially love their custom cakes -- it's our go to! Delicious and they always turn out so cute. Plus they are easy and pleasant to work with along the way.

We were in town for a funeral, after a meal at the diner, I wanted to stop and get some treats for the ride home to MD. Picked up: Cherry Top cookies, brownies, coffee cake and apple turnovers. They all looked great, and they still use little white boxes, with red/white string..so cute. The pastries however were a great disappointment. The coffee crumb cake was impossibly dry, actually inedible. Now it was 4:00 in the afternoon, so it might have been sitting out all day, however that is when it's incumbent on management to throw it out! Wegman's has MUCH superior coffee cake, We call the Wegman's product "Crack Cake" The brownies were cake like, which I prefer. The issue was they were TOO MUCH like cake with a modicum of very small nuts, and not an ounce of fudge in them. Again we bought two, shared one, tossed the second. The cherry cookies were tasty, the cookie could have been bigger in relation to the size of the cherry. But good flavour. I actually prefer the cherry cookies from my local supermarket (Giant in MD, Stop and Shop in NYC) The apple turnovers were for my cousin, so I did not sample. There are many nice bakeries in Queens/Long Island, unfortunately on this day Tulip Bake Shop missed the mark.

I think this is one of the best bake shops around. Their seven layer cake is delicious. They usually come in pieces about 6 inches long but when I wanted one for a party they were able to make is any length I wanted. They have a cheesecake that they sell in individual pieces and it's very good. I've been very happy with their cookies every time I've gotten them. Their pastries are great. I haven't found anything that I've disliked. Tulip's competition in Floral Park is Buttercookie. I think they are just as good and their prices are much lower. I will definitely return to Tulip and I'll recommend it to everyone around.

Bought an apple pie; found a fly inside the pie. The apple filling had lots of pieces of core pits, seeds, and skin.

The baked goods are very good. The décor is very quaint, pleasant and clean. Most of the staff is nice except one woman who works in the back on the cakes; Laurie. I spoke with her on several occasions and she is rude and has no customer service skills. She is difficult to deal with and makes it that I do not want to shop there in the future.

Self-service coffee! The husband and I shared a French vanilla and it was good. There are a few tables and chairs inside. Nice old fashioned English decor. I saw many yummy baked goods but didn't get to try it this time. Oh yeah, I saw the glazed croissant which I wanted my hands on! We sat and drank coffee only. A good chit chat and catch up place!

Please tell me they didn't change the Koenigs Rye recipe! Or maybe just a bad batch...took home a half loaf of rye with seeds and the next morning was so looking forward to it toasted with scrambled eggs. I opened the bag and got a strong odor like maybe old malt or artificial rye flavoring...I couldn't pin point it...and the bread seemed browner than I remember two St Patrick's Day ago when I couldnt keep family away from loaf before the corned beef was done. I toasted 2 slices to see if maybe toasted it would taste better but no....But will say the Hungarian cheesecake which fell apart as girl was cutting was quite good albeit messy upon taking out of bag.

My wife and I stop here midday for a cup of tea and a sweet treat. The counter people are all helpful and courteous. This is what a bakery should be. It brings back memories of my younger days when you walked in a bake shop and salivated from the aroma of all the goodies. Their cakes and pastries are second to none.

I ordered a vanilla cake with lemon filling for my baby's christening. We received a yellow cake, I was expecting it to be white but issue isn't really the color of the cake but rather it was very dry. That was very disappointing. However the lemon filling was really good. The decorating of the cake was average. The price was good, it wasn't overly expensive. Would try them one more time.

Local neighborhood bakery with a cute storefront! Stopped by here desperate for coffee and trying to avoid chain coffee places because I truly love and support family owned but was very dissatisfied. The coffee here is subpar and the baked goods didn't taste fresh at all. As a bakery, the least I would expect is a fresh baked croissant, not a stale grocery store quality. The coffee was simply terrible, taste like water. The 2 stars is because the place is clean and the girls behind the counter are really sweet. The options for a bakery were also very limited in here. This place has potential but needs many improvements in the quality of the food. Doubt I will be back here.

We love tulip bake shop. They make the best cakes. Everyone loves them! We always get cakes from here. The baker Lauren is awesome and so helpful. She reached out to me through email until I was able to go to the shop. We had her make an Encanto themed cake for my daughters birthday. She has also made us cakes in the past such as my daughter's 1 year smash cake and unicorn cake. The customer service is always great and we are greeted with friendly smiles every time. Can't wait to visit again soon!

Its a small local bakery shop in the area!! Ordered a cappuccino which I thought is a simple thing! I guess they do not have much customers for caffeinated drink beside plain coffee! She took her sweet time to make it and what I was served plain coffee .. didnt taste any of my espresso shot nor did it have any foam inside the cup? Not going back to waste my money!

Only reviewing two items... "Koenig's rye"...not what it used to be Baguette...light soft inside, crusty outside...no taste tho...

I have been going to Tulip Bake Shop for years and I love it, but today I had an unpleasant experience. I went in and asked for Gelato for me and my friends and the dark-haired lady who was helping us rolled her eyes at me and gave me less than what I paid for. Their food is delicious, but I hope that this will never happen again.

The gluten free cake and gluten free rainbow cookies were a hit at the party. I will be back!

Thanksgiving dinner's dessert was punctuated by a pumpkin pie from Tulip Bake Shop that was filled with clumps of eggshell shards. Quite a shame since the safe portions were good pie. An apple pie was alright but it was obvious they processed the entire apple as several diners were finding sharp bits of core meat and seeds. The mince pie was nearly unidentifiable as such. The texture was way too fine, like the ingredients were obliterated in a food processor, and it had a sandy texture from all of the seeds and fruit skins. The mince was also very sour. All in all, an epic fail from the Tulip Bake Shop. It seems they've either abandoned the QA/QC process or otherwise just don't care. 2 stars because they had nice apple cider doughnuts.

First time at this bakery and had to check it out since it was rated very highly on yelp! Everything was so good and we even got a delicious chocolate cake home. Regina was so helpful, patient, kind and friendly. She packed all my items nicely. Thank you so much for hiring such a wonderful staff!!!

I purchased a Boston Cream Pie from you last Saturday. The girl has it in the box and I asked how much it was and she said $26. I was shocked. It wasn't even big. I questioned the price as if to say ate you sure that's right and she redponds "I don't make up the prices". We paid for the cake brought it to a friend's house for dessert and it wasn't even that good. It had an after-taste. Definitely not worth the money! My husband and I said we won't be shopping there anymore. Very disappointed!

One of my favorite bakeries a must when in town. If you visit must try their seasonal pumpkin cheesecake it's absolutely amazing to perfection the best I have ever had, their buttered rolls are always soft and fresh I would know I'm there weekly..lol Their brown breads and Irish soda bread are a staple in my house, corn muffin again perfection and lately my absolute favorite their omg..NEW GELATOS ...owner makes it himself from scratch (lemon, chocolate, vanilla) and my all time favorite Hazelnut you can taste the natural high quality ingredients not the fake crap they add in other places. Also the decor is very clean, chic, quaint and cozy, and great customer service, all in all they get 5+ from me. Do yourself a favor try those gelatos today you can thank me later

An extreme dissapointment. I paid $9.50 for a slice of cheese cake and a slice of 7 layer cake. Both were stale and inedible. The texture of the cheesecake was chewy and the 7 layer cake was dry and stiff. (Only one bite was taken of each as shown in picture). When we brought it to the attention of the staff I did mention I was not looking for a refund. They were apologetic but made no attempt to rectify the situation. Instead our cakes were thrown out and the woman proceeded to the customer behind me. Don't waste your money here.

Tulip Bake Shop is a cozy little pitstop I like to frequent prior to getting abroad the LIRR (and after as well!) I've tried mini eclairs and cookies, but my FAVE? The cannolis! They have mini ones as well as a larger side. I'm saddened to see some reviews regarding rude staff, because they have been nothing but friendly to me! It is a little pricey for the quantity, but the quality is A+!

Have been visiting here for years and it's the best bakery in the area! Fresh food, great customer service. Their cafe area is so cute and they have great coffee and treats. My kids love coming here too. Will be a forever customer!!

I had the best, freshest apple pie ever here! so fresh. I will definitely use tulip bake shop for all my upcoming events! friendly and accommodating staff as well!

The neon sign always catches my attention when I drive down Tulip. Today, I decided to stop in and pick up a morning starter... after hearing all the other options, I found myself face to face with a Bran-Raisin Muffin for $2. The beefy muffin is so top heavy they actually have to display the majority of their muffins upside down because the simple laws of the physics wont allow otherwise. I was happy to find that it wasnt too sweet and was fresh and moist on the inside with an outer crust that protects the innards. I was satisfied. Large enough to have half for the AM and the rest for an afternoon snack. Solid 3.8 muffin. Would get again or for a loved one. Its unfortunate that the customer service is where they fall short. My interaction with the counter staff was short and nothing to note, so I dont have much input there. I did ask the counter girls if their goods were made from scratch, and they replied "yes." Not entirely sure how true that is, but ill take their word until proven otherwise. My reason for asking is that I've worked at bakeries before where their decor and image eluded to the handmade/made from scratch concept, when they were in fact using box mixes for pretty much everything. So I had to ask.

The scones and giant chocolate chip cookies are delicious. The young ladies behind the counter always greet us with a smile. The small eating area is clean and quaint and a good spot to sip your coffee.

The place claims to have been open for over 100 years and in all that time, they've not discovered how to put a toppoer in the middle of a box to keep the lid from sticking to the contents. When you place an order, you arrive to find the boxes all stacked on top of one another. The issue has been brought to their attention on several occasions, all of which receive a shrug and are ignored. Given that this place is FAR from inexpensive, you'd think you can expect better service. But, you'd be thinking wrong. Time to find a better bakery.

This place's decor is amazing. They have many choices how ever some of the pastries I've tried, such as the eclair, have been stale.

I can't get enough of Tulip Bake Shop...the pastries, cookies, cakes, atmosphere and friendly staff keep me coming back for more! My personal favorite is the cheese danish and my kiddos are obsessed with the sprinkle cookies! I highly recommend stopping in for a treat that is guaranteed to make your day that much sweeter!

I wouldn't consider myself a tough critic but I felt that this was necessary. I stopped into the bakery with a coworker for iced coffees and two pieces of crumb cake. Pretty simple items for a bakery. I wound up adding a smal Hazelnut gelato to the mix before leaving. With that, the iced coffee tasted like water, the crumb cake tasted like an old danish with hard tasteless crumbs added to the top and the gelato tasted more like a ice with a sour aftertaste. Definitely a waste of money and won't be going back.

I am impressed, Tulip Bake Shop was definitely fabulous. All the recommendations are worth to try. I really love every single thing I have ordered at this place. Workers are incredibly friendly and service is really swift. I can not wait to return to Tulip Bake Shop.

Tulip Bake Shop was the perfect stop for a mid-day tasty treat. They are a full service bakery and have lots of delicious bread, drink, and dessert options. When I visited, I tried the mini eclairs, many, many cookies, the chocolate mousse tarte, cannoli, and so much more. Everything was delicious--honestly, I'm not a big cannoli person, but their take on a chocolate chip cannoli had me swooning. Even though I'm all about sweets (did you just read that list of what I got?), I was pleasently surprised that none of the desserts were too sweet. They were all perfectly flavorful. The ladies behind the corner were kind and funny and gracious. They don't take credit cards for purchases less than $10--but that's okay! There's no shortage of treats to buy to get your bill to the $10 mark ;)

They Don't value your custom order -I had to call several times for follow up and they still mess that up with poor follow through. I wanted to add quantity for my order and could not get a new invoice . It's quite simple to type a balance but no one would do it and email me. Their manager is not in most days and it's just teenagers running shop. Please train your employees better for a custom order . An extra star is for them to refund my deposit with no questions asked.
