The Best Dishes Eater Dallas Ate in June 2023 | Eater Dallas

"Visiting the Asheville cafe’s new Las Colinas location, I tried its signature hot chicken served on mac-and-cheese waffles with a generous helping of the housemade ranch; I also enjoyed the spicy cauliflower bites, which deliver a kick at just the right time, and the fried green tomatoes served on a bed of grits." - Courtney E. Smith

My husband and I went for our anniversary before a concert and I would definitely come back. I would like to mention if you are not a huge fan of breakfast items or food, this place is heavily revolved around a menu similar to that with dinner fusions. I had no idea what to expect (not from Texas area) and the food felt soulful. We started with the fried pickles and the biscuits with peach and blueberry jam/butter combo (its an extra dollar for both which wasnt a big deal for us). The pickles were dusted with "bee pollen" which made them the perfect sweet and savory. The biscuits were so so fluffy and the combo on the jam/butter was fabulous. For our main courses my husband got the smothered chicken with goat cheese grits and crispy potatoes, as well as a cup of the chicken soup. The soup was comforting, it was savory with a hint of sweet. The chicken was so good as well as the sides, the goat cheese grits weren't my fan favorite but that was based off personal taste. I received the Peppercorn Meatloaf with crispy Brussels and the Mac and cheese. Everything was so favulous and our server was so so attentive. The atmosphere, the merch and hospitality was amazing. Definitely worth the check out

We visited for a weekend ladies' trip breakfast, and while the location has potential, the experience was disappointing due to rigidity and basic issues. First, we had to move our party outside immediately because the indoor dining area had a distinct, unpleasant odor (possibly a plumbing issue). The main frustration came when ordering. I wanted to try the fried green tomatoes with a side of chicken. Our server, who was helpful, initially advised the side came as two pieces (thighs or breasts). However, they quickly returned to say the restaurant was out of a la carte chicken thighs. Shockingly, the manager refused to accommodate a simple substitution for a chicken leg or wing instead. This unwillingness to be flexible when an item is out of stock is a significant issue for customer service. Other surprising limitations to note: The restaurant does not carry any fresh fruit. The only non-pork breakfast meats available are a side of two chicken pieces, chicken tenders, or vegan soy-sage. Be aware that the red pepper sauce is surprisingly spicy (a minor point, but worth mentioning). Overall, the food we did receive was adequate, but the service inflexibility and the unusual menu gaps mean that I will likely not return to this location.

Tupelo Honey has a tucked-away spot that’s easy enough to find. Our waitress was kind and attentive, and I appreciated the way the staff remade a dish for someone in our group without hesitation. My Smashburger Onion Burger and fries weren’t great, and the lemonade didn’t taste like the flavor I ordered, but the service itself was good. Overall, it just wasn’t the right fit for me, though others may enjoy it. Photo of Brussel sprouts appetizer. Very much burnt. 😬

Google
New restaurant near my home was a nice treat today for brunch. We had the omelet, shrimp and grits, and peach chicken and waffles. Although it was their soft launch, the service was good and the food was delicious. Did not try the biscuits yet but one day we will. Grits for the shrimp and grits could have been thicker. We shared this feedback with the server and she shared the information with the manager. Drinks were good. Met the GM and Manager. It was nice to see them helping the servers. That is what true leaders do. 👍🏾

The high ceiling of this place helps with the noise levels. Food is great! The chicken fried chicken was perfect and onion rings were crunchy and nicely battered. Steak were cooked to our preference. The mousse pie was a delectable treat to end dinner and a must have!

Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen delivers a modern Southern dining experience that balances comfort food classics with a touch of elevated flair. From start to finish, our meal was both satisfying and memorable. The Parmesan Rosemary Crispy Potatoes hit the perfect texture balance—crisp and golden on the outside, warm and tender inside. The seasoning was bold without being overpowering, and the rosemary added an aromatic touch that brought it all together beautifully. The star of the meal was the Honey-Dusted Fried Chicken. This isn’t your average fried chicken—it arrived with a beautifully crisp crust and a uniquely seasoned coating that was subtly sweet and deeply flavorful. The honey dusting added just enough intrigue to make each bite feel special without overwhelming the classic Southern base. We also tried the Cobb Salad, which was impressively fresh and generously portioned. Every ingredient—from the crisp greens to the ripe tomatoes and creamy avocado—felt thoughtfully selected and well-prepared. The atmosphere is another highlight: clean, natural, and effortlessly chic. It strikes a balance between casual and trendy, making it a great spot for both a relaxed lunch and a nice evening out. Service was equally on point—friendly, attentive, and efficient without feeling rushed. Overall, Tupelo Honey brings Southern charm with a contemporary twist. Highly recommended for anyone craving soulful dishes with a refined edge.

Google
This was my second time ordering from Tupelo. The first time was a dine in experience with my daughter -both food and service were great. Today I did a takeout order for their morning bowl. I was hungry so I ended up eating in my car in front of restaurant. The food was great but as I’m eating I notice something in my food that has an almost mucus-like texture. It immediately turned my stomach and I was not able to finish. The restaurant says it was their green salsa, but it did not have the same consistency. I considered maybe it was the eggs whites but the eggs were fried and yolks generally do not have this consistency. Not sure what to make of it, but this was likely my last time visiting.

Google
New and very quaint. It has nice vibes and waitresses are great . Food was so beautiful but not my taste. Shrimp and Grits way to salty swimming in buttery gravy . Surf and Turf picture perfect .Presentation perfect all around for all dishes . This place is in an awkward location . So if you think your gps is leading you wrong , it's not. Large parking lot . Wheelchair mobile people will need help opening the door . But chairs can be moved inside to accommodate you . There is also an area for covered outdoor seating .Dont expect to get out of here short of about $30 . All in all, it's not my taste but beautiful date night spot . I won't be back but it is cute as heck ..

Yelp
Had an amazing dining experience. My waiter Reggie was very accommodating. My fried chicken was hot in temp and delicious. The sweet tea was to die for. Thanks to all ,I will be back with a group in the near future. Frank

Yelp
If you're lucky enough to be seated in Josselyn's section, you're in for an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, Josselyn made us feel genuinely welcome with her warm smile and upbeat energy. She was incredibly attentive without being overbearing, always checking in at the perfect time. What really stood out was her professionalism mixed with a fun, friendly personality that made the whole meal feel special. She anticipated our needs before we even asked -- refills appeared without a word, and she handled every request with grace and efficiency. Her menu knowledge was spot on, and her recommendations were perfect. You can tell Josselyn takes pride in her work and genuinely cares about her guests. She turned a simple dinner into a five-star experience. If every restaurant had a Josselyn, dining out would always be this good.

Yelp
FANTASTIC HAPPY HOUR SELECTION AND PRICES ! Happy hour here for the win, seriously! I had been to a Yelp event at this spot before, but my husband and I are always on the hunt for solid and affordable happy hour deals. This place was absolutely worth checking out. They offer a great selection of happy hour appetizers, but the real surprise was their happy hour entrées for just $12.95. There were about 10-12 options, and each comes with a side (about 7 choices). Score. We started with the fried green tomatoes, served on a creamy grit-meets-risotto base that was unexpectedly exceptional. Then we shared the happy hour entrée of cast iron pork with a side of Asian-style Brussels sprouts. To be fair, the sprouts would probably shine more in the winter when they're smaller and sweeter, but the pork was fantastic. Crispy and juicy bites all around. A couple of warm tortillas on the side would make that dish even better. We will definitely be back. The cocktails during happy hour are a steal at just $5 each. Great food, great value, and a great vibe.

Yelp
Stopped here for a late brunch. No wait and not completely full on a Sunday late morning. The service was pretty slow. It seemed like the staff was crawling at a snails pace. We finally got an order in and started with the fried green tomatoes. They were pretty good and liked the super crispy outside. I had the shrimp and grits and it was good but so rich. I could only eat half of it. That seemed to the theme for our brunch. The food was very rich and hard to eat it all. The taste was good but whatever they used in the dishes was extremely rich. Ok good but probably won't come back.

Yelp
I went for an event but it was great! The service was fabulous, the food was delicious, and the restaurant was beautiful. Will be going back for dinner!

Yelp
My husband and I met up with some friends at Tupelo Honey! I've actually heard a lot of good things about this restaurant from my FIL and colleagues in NC! I forgot we had one so close to us here in DFW! Ambiance: Beautiful interiors! Very spacious, bright, and welcoming! Service: Friendly service, but wasn't all that quick. The food makes up for this! Food: if you love southern cuisine, Tupelo Honey is the place to try! Appetizer- Fried Pickles. The fried pickles thinly sliced and are lightly battered. Very different from what you get at a State/County fair. I love the tanginess of the pickles! Entree- I ordered their fried chicken with a side of goat cheese grits (the meal comes with 1 choice of sides). The fried chicken (ordered dark meat) was plenty of good! It had 2 pieces of meaty chicken, seasoned to perfection! Very flavorful and very juicy. The goat cheese grits were smooth and homey. Drink- Matcha honey latte was great!

Yelp
In town for work I dropped by right before closing 1 night and my cousin and I sat at the bar and drank/ate/talked. Service was excellent! 5 stars there. My drinks were juicy, they lacked any kick. My chicken was salty or something. It was soooo fresh and had the potential to be the best I'd ever had, but unfortunately, the salt/seasoning/rub was wayyyyy too much for me and I enjoy salt! Unfortunately, I wouldn't return.

Yelp
Welcoming staff, excellent food, and a well done space. Popped in for a late lunch and we were not disappointed. Our server was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and the service was quick. I absolutely loved the decor and ambience. It was quiet when we went.

Yelp
Visited for the first time. Location was super cute. Was greeted and seated immediately since it wasn't that busy. Waiter was excellent. However the food was not what I expected. My chicken and waffles(best I've had) were really good. When I asked for fresh jalapeño and strawberries to complement my dish waiter said they didn't carry those items. I was a bit shocked, but not a biggy. The issue was my mom dish. Her scrambled eggs were like soggy , flavorless and an off texture. Her potatoes were supper salty.

Yelp
It took 2 tries, but I caught this place on a typical day from what my Yelp friends were saying, this place is really good! Good sweet breading fried chicken, astounding biscuits great service, cool ambiance and a very inviting restaurant porch! It is sad as I used to work 2 blocks from here a couple of decades ago. I could have feasted and walked it off :) Price is reasonable for the quality.

Yelp
My family and I enjoyed the food and drinks. We all got chicken and waffles which were good. The fried green tomatoes were also a hit. I ordered the banana pudding which was very runny. The waitress stated that they recently changed the recipe adding cream cheese to it. Ours was very runny and had clumps in it. She was very nice and took that off of my bill. Over all I would be back, the drinks and customer service is great.

Travis C.

Yelp
The food was okay. The surf and turf entree I got was supposed to have medium-rare cooked steak but it was way overcooked.

Yelp
Tupelo Honey Southern kitchen is a beautiful restaurant. The aesthetics is fresh and bright, you are automatically put into a great mood. The dining area as well as the bar area is very spacious. Marilyn our server was very pleasant, and did a terrific job taking care of everything. I came for brunch, and I would definitely come here again and again. Chicken and waffles- everything was done right. Chicken seasoned perfectly and the waffle batter was delicious Breakfast platter- you have a choice of meat and a breakfast side. I chose chorizo sausage and grits. This entree also includes toast and two eggs prepared as you like.

Yelp
| Decent Experience but Some Disappointments This wasn't my first time at this Tupelo Honey location, and we were here celebrating a birthday. I started with a mule, but it was overly sweet, so I switched to a margarita, which was much better. For my meal, I ordered the steak and eggs, which were cooked perfectly--until I found a long piece of hair on my plate. The waitress was very nice, promptly removed it from the bill, and offered a replacement, but by then, I had lost my appetite. On the bright side, the biscuits with blueberry compote were absolutely amazing. I also got a slice of bourbon pecan pie to go, and while the flavor was incredible, the portion size was disappointingly small--a sliver rather than a proper slice. Overall, the service was good, and some dishes were excellent, but the hair in my food and the portion size of the pie left me a bit disappointed.

Yelp
I thought it would be busy on New Year's Day but surprisingly slow. It was easy to make a reservation through their website. The restaurant was clean, plenty of parking and well decorated. The service was excellent from being greeted at the door to our waitress. Food: 4 stars it was flavorful, well proportioned and great cocktails/juices Service: 5 Ambiance 4

Yelp
Tupelo Honey is located off W John Carpenter Freeway and High Point Drive in Irving in the Las Colinas area. Before I get started, "Kiss my grits". That's the first thing you'll see when you step through the front door :) Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar has some really good food, but the fried chicken's probably a must try. The fried chicken's just plain delicious, whether it's on a waffle, as a sandwich, or just by itself. Aside from soft drinks, they also have mimosas, bloody Mary's and some beer on draft as well; bonus points for the craft beer! The staff's super friendly, polite, and patient which makes looking through the menu relaxing. They have a huge parking lot and a good amount of seating inside, although it does get packed pretty quickly so get there early or be prepared for a little bit of a wait, worth it though. When in the area, kiss my grits and give this place a try!

Yelp
Arriving shortly after they were opened I was greeted by a friendly face. After being sat in a booth , Nemo, my waiter approached. He gave great recommendations but I ended up going with the mimosa flight, sweet potato pancake and originally the sage sausage which a changed to the regular sausage. The service was amazing, the food was phenomenal and the ambiance of the restaurant is very bohemian eclectic. I love the atmosphere and the location. Definitely 10/10

Yelp
I liked Tupelo Honey. The atmosphere was beautiful and had a really welcoming vibe. Our server was super friendly , which made the experience even better. The food was okay. It looked nice and was cooked well, but it just needed more flavor. Nothing was bad, but I was hoping for something a little more bold or memorable. I'd go back, especially for the atmosphere and the service, but I'd love to see the food step it up a bit.

Yelp
Went here for a birthday brunch and this restaurant has been on my must try list for a while. So glad I finally made it. This place was nothing short of perfect. Truly. I did not taste one bad thing. I ordered a blueberry lemon mimosa. I should've gotten the mimosa flight but I'll save it for next time. I tried the fried green tomatoes for an app, they were really good and were served on a bed of grits and a yummy sauce. They were slightly crispy and juicy and just perfect. I then ordered the sweet and spicy chicken and waffles, added bacon as well. I usually don't order chicken and waffles anymore because I find most places either disappoint with the chicken being bland or the waffle being soggy. Tupelo's literally gave me crispy, juicy, well seasoned chicken with a really yummy sweet and spicy sauce. The waffle was crispy on the edges and soft on the inside. Literally perfect. Bacon was good, nothing special, just bacon but I love bacon so I'm biased. I really enjoyed the chicken and waffles and it was the perfect amount of food as well. I was apart of the clean plate committee. Everyone else food looked yummy and I seen so many other options I want to try. I cannot wait to come back here. I will be back very soon for those shrimp and grits! Service was also great even tho we had a larger party. Our server was very attentive and nice. The ambiance was great, they had the game playing so I was able to see my team lose over a good meal. I really loved this place and the decor and grass walls were super cute as well.

Yelp
Came here for Sunday brunch. I had a reservation and was promptly seated. Our server was friendly and helpful answering our questions about the menu. The ambiance was good, not crowded or loud. Food was excellent, everyone in my group enjoyed what they ordered. I had the classic chicken and waffle. Chicken was very flavorful and juicy inside.
google avatar

Amber B.

Yelp
Interior is thoughtful light and modern with a southern charm. I loved the restroom tile so much it's now in my restroom at home. Food is classic flavors and well prepared and presented. There is no miss in my opinion on the menu. If you want brunch, they've got you, if you want soul food and a hefty d8nner they've got you. If you wanna go sit at the bar for hand crafted cocktails you guessed it, they've got you. This area and location are expanding rapidly but tupelo is a staple in this location and Good for a bite solo or with a large group. You can't miss here!

Yelp
We visited here in May, twice. Each time was amazing! The food was great the server was engaging and informative. Very nice looking restaurant with roomy and decorative restrooms. The outside light (not too bright) filled the place offering a nice inviting atmosphere of fun and playfulness. I really enjoyed the blueberry compote which was on the thin side but had a great flavor. The onion rings were great, probably one of my faves. Everything tasted good, omelet, chicken, waffles, grits, biscuits, steak, eggs, potatoes....
google avatar

Dashawn J.

Yelp
The food here is amazing along with the customer service was 10/10. I found this spot while visiting and I am glad I found it.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere of this place. It seemed kind of high end but still relaxed and comfortable. Love the decor and jst the whole vibe of the place. The food, however, not so much. I ordered chicken tenders with mac and cheese and biscuits. My husband ordered the fried chicken with fries. Both the tenders and the chicken were sprinkled with the bee dust. It added a nice sweet touch to it but the problem is they used that instead of seasoning. Just my opinion but I like well seasoned food. This was either lacking it or they used very little. The mac and cheese was not cheesy at all and tasted more like kraft with breadcrumbs on top rather than the southern baked the menu claims. The biscuits were yet another disappointment. They were overcooked and crumbly. The service was great and the people were friendly but the food jst wasnt it for me.

Yelp
Very dry almost nonexistent piece of chicken on the "Asheville Hot" chk sandwich. Cold, aggravated to be working type of behavior by bartender
google avatar

Julie D.

Yelp
Very good okra, it was the best thing we ordered. I liked the honey fried chicken. No to the soup and most of the sides were bad including the fries but I would go again and stick to appetizers and the chicken.
google avatar

Karianne U.

Yelp
Second time coming to this location. I enjoy the food and the portions are pretty good. The insideof the restaurant is super cute, alot of greenery and sunlight. The service isn't bad but it can be better- its a little slow. I got the half bird chicken, spicy. It was good flavor and crispness. I also got the onion rings, not special about them but they were good.
google avatar

Tashana L.

Yelp
Tupelo honey is a solid restaurant. Great atmosphere, cute decor, and fast service. You can't go wrong with any of the chicken dishes. I love the option to have sauces added to the fried chicken! I've never had a bad batch of chicken, they're always consistently cooked to perfection. The only non chicken entree i've had is the blackened mahi mahi which was overall good but overcooked. The sides aren't my favorite but they get the job done. The mac and cheese is an ABSOLUTE NO. Collards, brussel sprouts, and potatoes are usually safe side options. The pimento cheese dip and fried green tomatoes are my favorite appetizers. The drinks here are yummy, they make their own ginger beer which is delicious. Give them a try!
google avatar

Dawn N.

Yelp
This place is a VERY CUTE spot to have brunch! It was my first time and definitely won't be my last. Customer service was amazing and very attentive to our needs and our drinks and food came out swiftly!! I had the Asheville chicken and waffles that's topped with mac n cheese and let me tell you it was GREAT!!! The waffles are so fluffy, the chicken is flavorful but it wasn't spicy at all!! The presentation alone does not to justice of how great this place is! Check it out!!

Vianai A. C.

Yelp
Me and my party of 7 dined here this past weekend to celebrate my graduation. Graduation ended super early so we arrived about 1.15 hours before our reservation with 2 extra people in my party and they graciously seated us early. First thing I noticed was the adorable floral decorations! They took our orders quickly but it took quite a while for our food to come out. Once it came though it was really good. The drinks were good too I especially enjoyed the keto margarita. We'll have to come back again to try dessert!!
google avatar

Niki T.

Yelp
I love this spot so much! The food is incredible and so delicious. I love their avocado melt sandwich and at lunch, there is a great deal for a half sandwich half side combo which is the PERFECT amount of food. Their ingredients are always so fresh and delicious. They also have great Arnold Palmers. The service has always been wonderful when I have dined in as well. The hosts at the front greet you with smiles and the servers are always so kind and attentive. The ambience is super cute and at lunch time, the restaurant lets in the most beautiful natural light. And big time props to whoever was controlling the music on Tuesdays lunch service.. David Bowie and Herb Alpert while enjoying lunch with friends?! Epic. Go visit this great spot!

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday morning with a friend. I made a quick reservation that morning. The ambiance was nice and modern. We were seated at. High table by the bar. Server was pleasant and very attentive. He also made had been one of the bartender. We tried the deep fried tomatoes and that was good. I ordered the Egg Benedict with potatoes and it was fulfilling. The mimosa flight was delicious. I would definitely come back for brunch here.
google avatar

Cindy T.

Yelp
First time to this location with friends on a Saturday with friends. Make a reservation of possible because it was crowded with various celebrations going on. The music was loud and made it hard to talk at our table of 5. Our server Adriene was very nice but had to ask her to speak up because it was so loud. She kindly offered to ask if the sound could be lowered. It was. Now, onto the food. We ordered the Fried pickles, fried green tomatoes, and some biscuits. The biscuits with jam were fine. Loved the thinly sliced pickles. Fired green tomatoes were good too. I ordered the Sriracha Honey chicken and waffles, it had quite a kick but very good and tasty. My friends ordered the regular chicken and waffles, and chicken and Mac n cheese waffles. Enjoyed the meal and company.

Danielle G.

Yelp
Super convenient location with lots of parking. It clean inside and friendly. The food was fantastic! I didn't expect much for a brunch but was really impressed. We tried a variety of dishes and we were really happy with everything. Their shrimp and grits are delicious!
google avatar

Kaitlyn S.

Yelp
Went for an early dinner with colleagues. It was okay, to be honest. It seems like a newer location so maybe it was growing pains. The serve was incredibly slow and.... Distracted. We were however seated quickly! Everyone enjoyed their meals and enjoyed had the Mahi Mahi (calories count okay!) with the potatoes and Mac and cheese. Should've opted for the Brussels instead of Mac but oh well!

Yelp
I can't begin to tell you how happy I was to find Tupelo Honey here in Irving, TX. I stumbled upon this location leaving an appointment. I had the most amazing cold brew espresso martini and some fresh fried okra with this dipping sauce that is to fall out for. I also had the chicken and waffles that had mac n cheese on top and yessssss it was so amazing. I discovered this place first in Atlanta. Now that it's here, it's my FAVORITE place. Go see Jess. She provides great service experience and James ( I think that was his name. He's a Manger) they both made my experience delightful.
google avatar

David K.

Yelp
I had found Tupelo Honey from an event they were a vendor at. Checked out their menu online and decided to check them out. Service was really good during my visit, and everything was well maintained. I tried some fried pickles and they were good, a bit less breading than other fried pickles I've had but that's not a bad thing. I tried the sweet and spicy chicken with rosemary potatoes as my side. The food was really good. While slightly on the smaller side for portions to my personal preferences, perfect sizing for what my wife would like.
google avatar

Danica A.

Yelp
The food was great, but the service was mid at best. Our waitress asked us if we would like a refill, & we responded yes. However, she forgot to refill our (non-alcoholic) drinks three times. We also had to ask for our check twice. It felt weird that other guests seemed to receive attention, but we were constantly forgotten even though we didn't ask for much. Otherwise, we really recommend the shrimp & grits.
google avatar

Sharon D.

Yelp
This location is beautiful and the vibe is really nice for brunch! Our server was so fun and upbeat - this was our first time and she made it worthwhile. Every single item on the menu sounds and looks spectacular...and it tastes just as good too. I'll keep it simple...fried green tomatoes, friend chicken and brown butter pecan pie...don't leave without trying at least those 3 things! You really can't miss with anything on the menu, but I would definitely recommend those 3.
google avatar

Tiffany H.

Yelp
Let me start by saying the aesthetics are there! This place is beautiful! So we took my mother here for Mother's Day and it didn't start off too good. We got our food and the food was cold and then there was some confusion about our sides. After we spoke with a manager, he was very apologetic, accommodating and he got everything together. He brought out fresh food, comped most of our meals and gave us dessert. I was very pleased with his service! So here's what we ordered. Smothered chicken, greens, and rosemary potatoes. My mom loved the potatoes, they were her favorite item from her meal. She said the greens would've been good if they weren't cold. The chicken was ok. She rated it 5.5 overall. I had the honey dusted chicken (dark), Brussels sprouts and baked macaroni. The chicken probably would've been good if it was fresh. The Brussel sprouts were 10/10, best thing item on the menu!! The macaroni.....horrible...the hot one was just as bad as the cold one. Kiddos had chicken and waffles and they rated it a 7.5 so I guess that was good! Sister had the sweet and spicy chicken and she said it was really good, no complaints. She loved the Brussels and rated them a 10. She didn't like the macaroni. The banana pudding was really good! 10/10 All in all I would come back but maybe for brunch and not dinner.

Yelp
Not pictured here are the fried pickles that I found to be an absolute must for an app! The creamy ranch they come in makes the pickles so delectable. Yum!! Love the food here at Tupelo. The Las Colinas location is gorgeous, bright and airy. Smaller than Frisco and still as amazing. I opted for the traditional breakfast with potatoes and bacon and loved my dish! Tupelo Honey offers freshly squeezed OJ and fruits for your cocktails and all of their menu items are a good decision. Will be back time and time again.

Yelp
Super cute place and I have my Yelpers to thank for finding this place! The vibe was great, the food was tasty and the service was on par! I had the shrimp and grits and would definitely recommend! We can on a Sunday late morning, the game on the TVs. This place is great for brunch!

Yelp
Came in for a special event and the event coordinator Mike was an amazing host and we had great service. I got the fried green tomatoes on goat cheese grits to start. Mmmm those grits were yum then for my main entree I got the Sriracha honey chicken and waffles. Loved the sweet and spicy honey. The honey was thin & you could pour it on without worrying that you put too much on. Banana pudding was good. Banana flavor was not over powering and there was a nice crunch from the wafer cookies to balance the creamy pudding. I also got the house made ginger beer where they make their own ginger concentrate with lime and cane sugar. Smells like fresh ginger overall it was a delightful evening and had a great time (Also, the bathrooms are gender neutral and clean! )

Yelp
Enjoyed our waiter Samuel. We ordered Mimosa Tower - Blueberry Lemonade and Fruit Punch were the best! My friend ordered the excellent super tasty shrimp and grits! I ordered tasteless and dry surf and turf with not enough gravy or any seasoning. The biscuits with blueberries jam and butter were divine!! Yum!!! We also ordered flavorful Brussels sprouts as an appetizer!

Yelp
Changed my review to 3 stars. Thanks to the Tupelo staff for reaching back out. I will definitely continue to support this business and I'm glad to give it another try. Customer service goes a long way. I will give it another go.

Yelp
The Brussels sprouts were the highlight for me, even though there was a sauce to them that was atypical and a bit strange. Without that, perfection. The atmosphere is relaxing/welcoming, and staff were really pleasant and helpful. I had the surf and turf and enjoyed it. I'd like to go back and try other things. Decent drink selection, too.

Yelp
Loud & noisy. Food alright but nothing to write home about. Bar staff was particularly transactional. Nothing to write home about or anything to go out of your way far. Overall : Meh. One-and-done. P.S. And the Fried Okra was an embarrassment to my southern sensibilities. I'm glad I had it as a side and not an appetizer.
