I really enjoy going to TUPPS. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Bri and Brian they are awesome. So far my favorite beer has to be Farmhouse and juice pack. I love how this place has constant events going on, not to mention the great space they have to host them. I also want to give a shoutout to chef Ben. Food has been great. I love the pretzel , chicken sandwich and pork belly. I have Also had a grain salad there that’s pretty good. The vibe has been awesome every time I’ve gone there , you just want to chill and hangout.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this brewery located just a stone’s throw from McKinney’s historic downtown. We visited during one of their special Saturday live events, and it truly exceeded all our expectations! The atmosphere was incredibly family-friendly, with countless activities set up for kids of all ages — from little ones to teens. It felt like there was something around every corner to keep everyone entertained. The event offered a fantastic mix of outdoor and indoor spaces, including a beautiful concert hall and cozy indoor dining areas. We especially loved the country fair vibe and the live concert — both were lively, fun, and completely FREE, including all the activities! Honestly, the experience was so enjoyable that we would have gladly made a donation to support such a fantastic event. It’s clear that a lot of heart and planning goes into these events. We left with huge smiles and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly, highly recommend for families, friends, or anyone looking for a fun, welcoming place to relax and enjoy great entertainment!

Tupps Brewery is a hidden gem nestled just steps from the old town charm of downtown McKinney. The space has a quaint, distillery-style vibe that makes it feel both historic and welcoming. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a laid-back weekday afternoon with friends—great brews, friendly folks, and a relaxed atmosphere that captures the spirit of the community. 2025 After many visits, we still loved TUPPS, just adding more pictures. 2024 Ever since our visit to TUPPS Brewery a few years back, we became fans. This was our first time here at its new location, very impressive establishment. Different seating areas to eat and drink, indoor and/or outdoor. We had lunch inside while watching football games on TVs then moved outside to try more beers on a perfect weather day. Food was on point, drinks always good. Service prompt. Highly recommend.

TUPPS Brewery in McKinney is a great spot with a unique, rustic vibe, it’s set in an old cotton mill that gives it a cool, historic feel. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, with plenty of space to hang out, enjoy live music, and play games. The food is delicious, the beer is top-notch with lots of creative options, and the staff is friendly and attentive. It’s a perfect place to enjoy a casual day or evening with friends and family.

With a comprehensive array of delightful brews and eats, we'll be heading back to Tupps soon! I was really impressed with the 'compound', seating everywhere both indoor and outdoor, and very kid and dog friendly. If you're a fan of stouts like I am, the Full Grown Man (FMG) is a must! They have variations of the FGM, I went with impressively flavorful Scallywag. I also had a taste of the Raspberry FGM, which was equally as flavorful. BE CAREFUL: The FGM packs a punch @ 12.1 ABV! Btw, the flight pours are a very generous 4oz.

the ambiance here is exceptional! not to mention the food is quite delicious. got the burger and fries and the taste was fantastic, food was hot, and wait time was actually not too bad for a weekend! lots of various activities outside of the brewery that can make the entire family have a good night! parking isn’t bad either just make sure to get there earlier for a good spot! go chupacabras!!!

i have never met nicer people than i have here. Eric is a beautiful person and his wife completed the tour vibe. highly highly recommend taking a tour and patronizing this brewery

Tupps is my favorite brewery in the DFW area! They have some great IPA's and stouts. My favorite mainstay beer they have is the Evil Dankster IPA but they usually have some smaller batch beers such as their DDH series, and Grown Man stouts. This place is perfect for families, as the property is HUGE, 6 acres of land. They have a kids play area, and a kids menu and so many places to sit such as indoors in the grain room, outside seating, and a beer hall. My daughter loves it here, and she goes around meeting other kids, petting dogs, running around, and enjoys the food. The food is good, and only getting better, they consistently make changes to their menu looking to improve and make it the best it can be. My wife and I really enjoy the pretzel, the burger, fries, pork belly app, and chicken nuggets. They also consistently have events, goat yoga, Easter egg hunt, live music, and so on. They have a great mug club membership that my wife and I joined. The staff is amazing as well. All friendly, and caring for the customers. Excited to see what the future holds as the location has endless possibilities.

I came here for goat yoga! The place is dizzyingly huge with multiple outdoor seating zones. Parking is easy! They have a long, rectangular lot that abuts the property. Upbeat, friendly staff. The bathrooms are large, well-ventilated and clean.

WE LOVE TUPPS!!! I can't say enough good things about this place. It's the best place to meet with a friend, bring the family, host a birthday party, or bring people who are visiting. There is so much that they offer from live music weekly, playgrounds for kids, vendors, and food. The beer selection is always amazing. I loved their 10th anniversary IPA. Also they've added more seltzers which my wife loves. The ranch waters hit perfectly when it's hot outside. The food selection is perfect and what you would expect for a brewery. We bring our dogs with us everytime and sit outside by the outdoor stage. We bring chairs and a blanket and it's perfect. The staff is always top notch and give great recommendations. Overall tupps is the place to go for any day of the week

We came here for a birthday party and had reserved a table for 13 of us. The staff was super friendly and treated you like family. The service was pretty good and it was packed. They had just forgotten one of our drink orders but they fixed it quickly. We did have to move tables about 1 1/2 hours in stating that there was another big party that was coming, they never showed....

Disappointed in Tupps the last few times we have gone. They've ran out of the dark beers we like. Tonight, they ran out of Full Grown Man. It's Thursday July 3rd. They had a band tonight, ran out of the only stout they had. Was it for the whole holiday weekend? The bartender didn't specify if it was temporary, just said they were out. Also, seemed short staffed. 1 bartender, the line was crazy.

Full Grown Man/Nick/Jack...any of the Full Grown lineup is BOMBTASTIC!!! I love dark stouts and when they have a bourbon barrel aged Full Grown Man you better jump on it fast because it goes quick. We love the new location, much bigger than the old location but I wish there was a better system for ordering a beer. It seems that every time I go in the line is different, depends on how the customers lineup. Would love to see Tupps implement a single line, next customer up type system that is roped off...just because when it's 3 or 4 lines you never know who's getting one beer, who's in a group, how many people are really in front of you, etc. All that being said, we still love the beer and food and will continue to support our local McKinney business!!!

This is such a great option in the downtown McKinney area. They have finished up the former industrial/grain elevator space to be a welcoming spot to hang out for food, beverages, and enjoying various events they host. We came by on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. We split our time first inside the main building in some comfy chairs in the loft area. Then we moved outside where they had live music playing. They offered a wide variety of beers and ciders that gave solid options for our entire group. We look forward to returning for future events they host.

I love this brewery! We have been coming here since opening weekend of this location. It's family friendly which is a huge plus and there's a good amount of space for your kiddos to run around and have fun as well. The beers are delicious, I'm specifically an IPA girl and the ones they make here are delicious. I love that they have a food menu with many different options to choose from. The pretzel is a must. It's big enough to share with a few people and the beer cheese that comes with it is a bit spicy but SO good! They also have options for those who don't drink beer or alcohol at all which is nice. The staff is always kind which makes coming back here easy!

Great place to hang out! I went there to check out a shopping event they were having. Love the area and the server was friendly! We didn't eat anything though but the drink I ordered that was not beer but alcoholic was delicious!

I came here while visiting McKinney, because I love local breweries. When I arrived on a random Wednesday afternoon, they were setting up for a weekend concert. There were multiple places to walk through, so it took me time to find a place to order a beer. However, once I did, I saw how friendly the staff was. Good beer and great service.

Great place to hang out even for a weekday. Stopped by on tuesday night for a bingo night. We had to seat ourselves and order at table using the QR code. It was convenient, but it would be great if they allow substitutions or an option to remove something from food. We ordered few beers, classic burger, brisket cheese steak, nachos and cheese and veg wrap. Service was quick and beer and food were amazing! Bingo was okay, their sound system could use some upgrades. Will definitely go back for upcoming events

This place has the infrastructure for events. But does not have the staff to maintain it for food, we had to wait over an hour for food. There needs to be a wait list that is visible on it to help people understand they have to wait this long for food. It's ridiculous

We stopped in to grab a bite to eat and a cold beer. The three of us shared the mini tacos and the fish and chips. The fish was salmon, which I had never had before and it was really good. The tacos were delicious and smothered in a yummy sauce. They were a little soggy towards the bottom with how much sauce was on them. The beer was delicious. They have a nice large tasting room with TVs that were playing football. Overall fun place to hang out and catch a game and some good beer.

Second time visiting from Maryland, love the entire vibe of this place, plus the beers are delicious!

I celebrated my birthday as a private event at Tupps. We reserved the patio off building two and had food and Tupps drinks catered. I was blown away at how amazing our experience was. I worked with Hasan to plan my event, and he was very patient with all my questions throughout the process. Reid was our bartender and kept the drinks flowing and made sure we were taken care of from the moment we started to set up until we were packing up. Any questions we had, he was on it to solve our problems and to make sure we were taken care of. I cannot express what a great time we had and all the guests loved the food and atmosphere. If you're looking to hold an event at a brewery, Tupps is the one to pick, not only for the price (one of the best deals in DFW in terms of food, drink, and location) but also for the fantastic customer service. Food favs: everything was wonderful but the standouts were brisket queso, cheese flatbread, brisket flatbread, and pickles.

Great new location!! Super friendly staff. Turkey sandwich with Brie and arugula was good but would have been GREAT if it was toasted/ grilled instead on plain sour dough. The egg salad sandwich was good too but same with the bread, would have been great if toasted/ grilled instead.

I LOVE the Matador grapefruit IPA, but the charcuterie board is a JOKE! Very small, cheese is cut way too thick, it needs a sweet element, like jam or honey. It could also use a little fruit and a grainy mustard. It was definitely more of a pickled vegetable tray that costs $24. Definitely NOT worth the money.

The place is very casual, family can come and they have some nice play area for the kids . It's a bit noisy if you sit inside but there is always an option to sit outside , just a bit hot during summer . I love the nacho brisket , the queso that comes with it was really good! Hubby liked the beer they served . You don't have to wait for server to order , just use the QR code and order and pay from your phone . The service is also fast . I would definitely go back there with friends .

I wasn't expecting to review a foot-long corn dog because the Fletcher's corny dog I love is from the Texas State Fair! But wow, the flavor of the hot dog was great and it was fried perfectly! We were there early in the day so it wasn't crowded. We sampled a few beers which were all great. The staff was very friendly. Their calendar of events for a winter month at a brewery was pretty clever - they even had a snowball fight when we got that snow, lol! Can't wait to go back

Interesting place. I love the fact that you could either order at the bar or use the code at your table to see the menu, scan it, and order and they would deliver for a surcharge to your table. That was interesting. A lot of beers here. I had several. None were outstanding, but none were bad. They were all slightly above average. Lots of space here. With several floors and they have quite a large gathering area outside. There's so much room for them to do even more than they already have. They had an area downstairs. It was roped off for a party. They were supposed to come later and it's amazing and the place is inside of Building with like old sheet metal on it, which is how it's supposed to look. Kind of an eclectic feel. I like that, that was cool. There wasn't many folks when we were there. We were there about 3pm on a weekday afternoon. We considered getting a couple growlers to go, but we weren't too far from some friends house that we hadn't seen for a while, so we just wanted a couple beers to kill some time before we knew they'd be home because they both worked. But still a nice place to kill some time. You could sit inside, you could sit outside and they have much larger gathering areas. The washrooms are actually clean, but I'm giving three stars because the one bartender had an attitude and I wasn't sure why? Maybe he could tell I was not a Local, and held that against me. Maybe I imagined it, but either way that's all I'm giving. But I would still recommend worth stopping, since their beer was above average. Im just amazed that all the space that they have inside and out, all the things they could do to that place would be incredible.

Amazing flavors, great service, and wholesome atmosphere for the whole family we will be coming back to TUPPS again and again.

Such an amazing brewery! Stout and IPA heaven right here in Mckinney Texas. Some decent yet overpriced food, some just okay and still overpriced, but it's easy to overlook that since there is so much more offered at Tupps. A wide selection of good beers and a great selection of Stouts and IPAs. My belly is always hungry for IPAs and it's a happy tummy every time I visit Tupps. Live music, large screen TVs for sports fans, outdoor seating is bountiful and their events are always fun. Private party accommodations and Festival of Darkness every year to celebrate their dark beers. Visit soon and enjoy!

This place was SO COOL! And thank god for it, because it's hot as hell! The food was tasty tasty! I had the Cesar wrap and it was very fresh, husband got bratwurst and liked it. Kid got chicken tenders can't go wrong! The vibe is cool, they have an amazing outdoor area and when it cools down I can't wait to enjoy it!

So much space for your family to spread out and enjoy yourselves. Yummy beer and food- order through an app or at the bar. We will definitely go again with a group! So fun & so many different areas to hang out.

Love that TUPPS always have something going on for the family. We've been to at least three of their events and they are very well organized. The food is amazing (the queso is our favorite) and the beers are delicious.

First time at Tupps since the remodel and we had a great time. We sat outside, our toddler ran all over the place, good times! We feel the drinks/food prices are pretty close to similar locations or restaurants so no real issue there. Food was good (hummus/salad) and easy to order via QR code on the table. only issue was the burger order: you can click no cheese but somehow it came also without lettuce/tomato/onion and there was no good way to get a waiter to fix the situation. Otherwise the burger and bread was good but hoping they fix whatever issues caused this.

Great food, great service and a really fun spot to share either a date night or family night. First time I went was with my wife and we had a lot of fun. Second visit we brought our kids and the in-laws with their pups. Only negative I would have is the lack of umbrellas to increase shade spots. If you don't get there early enough you'll have to deal with a non shade spot if you choose to be outside. That is really the only negative I have to say, which really is not that bad.

We love the taproom at Tupps!! They always have so much to offer here. So many of their fresh brews on tap in the tap room. They have a lot of merch for sale as well as a lot of beer to go. They have a good happy hour offerings as well if you come at certain times. The tap room has a lot of availability. There's tons of seating so you're sure to find a seat and a lot of times. There are different events going on. Additionally, tap room sometimes has events such as Camp Gladiator, yoga, or pur barre. Super creative use of space! The evenings they often have a food truck available so you can nosh if you need with your beer.

Good beers, I tried the oatmeal cookie and it was pretty good. It's a huge unique place.

Highly recommend for events! Everyone at the brewery was genuinely kind and the customer service was top-notch. We were celebrating Earth Month and they gave us insights about TUPPS's recycle/reuse and sustainability efforts, which were eye-opening and made us understand how they affect local businesses. Food was outstanding and the vibe in the upper mezzanine was incredible. For planning the event, they were quick to communicate and worked with us every step of the way to accommodate any requests we had. Completely stress-free for me. This was my first time at TUPPS ever and I will definitely be back, for both personal and professional events. Thank you, TUPPS, for what you do for the local community!

Such a great place to hang out. They have events which look like so much fun. Their drinks were great, and food was above bar food. It does seem like more trouble to open a tab though. I would recommend just ordering on the QR code at the table and checking out every time. Service is great though. We were also able to walk around. It is family friendly as well.

Been there many times. Great beer selection, solid food and a warm inviting staff. They recently added a whiskey barrel aged beer, aged in 1855 whiskey barrels---freaking AMAZING! Great place to just relax and enjoy the day. Worth the visit.

Had the Deviled egg sandwich, it was delicious, also had the smoked Mortadella sandwich. (Split orders with my friend) Both were huge and delicious. Chips and queso as expected. Will try the Smash burger next visit. Service was very good as well

The new location is perfect! Upstairs and outside seating. No more flights, but you can test the beer first. Tanika was very knowledgeable and helpful. This place is really a step while maintaining the original flare. Don't forget to get a legendary t-shirt while you are here!

This is not only now the best taproom in DFW, it's a destination. This could be a blueprint for all others to copy. It's really amazing what they have done. The restaurant is quite good, there are three different huge buildings to hang out in & the outdoor areas are just perfect. Get your dog. Get your kids. Go hang out all day. It's Texas at its finest.

Tupps is one of our favorite places! Their new location is amazing and their kitchen is cranking out some yummy food - my favorite right now is the dry rub wings. They are DELICIOUS

We were so excited to try the new and improved Tupps. We really enjoyed that you can order everything to eat/drink from your phone and it's brought to your table. I think the hiccup with that is that we didn't have anyone that wanted to help us when we had an issue with one of the food orders. I think maybe a kitchen staffing issue was to blame but not having a dedicated server meant that it didn't seem to matter to anyone when a food item came out undercooked. So many good food items, great price too. Loved the frozen seltzer! Hopefully the staffing issues work out and their service improves.

We are enjoying the new location so much! It's incredibly spacious, family friendly, and they host so many type of events. Personally, I enjoy being able to scan the QR code and order from the table. It's so convenient and they're very efficient.

Tupps new location is a 10/10! Multiple areas to sit in, corn hole, beer hall , and swing seats. The food menu is reasonably priced and beer has always been great. Awesome place to hang out with friends for the day. Located just outside the downtown square making it even more desirable to visit. Bartenders are nice and answer any questions you have about their beer or brewing process. Awesome space with great service and friendly people!

Always love discovering breweries that I haven't tried before! Tupps is one of the most recent ones and I wasn't disappointed in the slightest! Full Grown Jack was the beer we had, an Imperial Pumpkin Stout. Steve and I thought we should share this one since the ABV is in the 12% range. Glad we did that! The beer was very good, not too sweet and enough Pumpkin features to make sure what you were having was from a variety of squash. Lots of other promising looking beers as well which I'd love to explore but stopping while you're ahead with a high ABV is always preferred for Steve and myself!

2nd time here. Better than it has to be! I'm a home brewer very picky on craft brewery fare and Tupps does a good job here. Food is better than it has to be for this scene and service is so fast with the qr system and quick runners. It was beautiful outside today and there was no place I'd rather be! Great job Tupps!

Great beer, friendly service, and wonderful ambiance. I was worried it'd be too hot but the shaded area with the tables was nice, with the highly convenient option to order drinks from the table. There's also sometimes live music (with space for lawn chairs in front of the stage) and an artisanal market there. Both were present when my friends and I visited, and the vibes were immaculate. We all had a great time.

I love this place and came just for the brisket sandwich. It was served slightly warm and old bread and my waffle fries weren't even hot. We were super disappointed.

Nicole at Tupps was amazing to work with. I have an event coming up and needed some adult beverages. She helped me choose the best selection and even carried my purchase to my car for me! I highly recommend working with them

This large property includes lots of indoor and outdoor space. The tap room and kitchen is warm and inviting. Great selection of taps and tasty bar food. Pets are welcome outdoors and there's a covered, open-air venue with heaters that's dog friendly as well. The entire property is family friendly. Tupps new location is a wonderful addition to this booming area on the west side of downtown McKinney.

Went here a few weeks ago for Music Trivia night with friends. We had a great time and I was amazed how big the location is! It's so cute and we ended up drinking and eating in the grain room. Service was great and my friends loved the food! Will definitely be going back!
