Houston’s Wildly Popular Turkey Leg Hut Will Pop Up in Dallas | Eater Dallas

"The operation bills itself as the “Home of The World Famous Stuffed Turkey Leg” and is known for smoked turkey legs stuffed with fillings such as crawfish mac and cheese, shrimp alfredo and dirty rice. Starting in 2016 as a food stand at the Houston Rodeo, it regularly draws large crowds and long lines and counts high-profile fans like Beyonce and Snoop Dogg. It is planning a Dallas pop-up later this month in food-truck form, though a date and location have not yet been announced." - Brittanie Shey

Took my son to his favorite spot in Dallas as soon as he landed from Los Angeles! The Turkey Leg Paradise family was AMAZING! The service was top notch AND THE FOOD WAS SO DAMN GOOD!! We picked up dinner and lunch !! I had the turkey leg sandwich and fries, my son had the Hot Lemon Pepper glazed leg! Plus a stuffed broccoli rice and cheese turkey leg, some turkey tenders and fries, banana pudding with no bananas and a few different koolaides!! This place never misses! A bunch of food for a reasonable price. Thank you Turkey Leg Paradise family for never letting us down!! See ya’ll again SOON!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Listen… Turkey Leg Paradise in Deep Ellum? Babyyyy, they ALWAYS understood the assignment. First of all, that outdoor area with the standing heaters? Way too cozy. I came ready to shiver in cute clothes like every other outdoor spot — but no, they wanna keep us warm and comfortable like we’re royalty. Rude. 😂 And don’t even get me started on the holiday-themed nights. Decorations on point, music vibing, energy up — it’s giving festive, flirty, and fine. The mix between a lounge and a club? Purrfect. Bottle service that doesn’t rob your whole paycheck, food hitting, and everybody looks like they’re having a good time on purpose. Black joy all in the air. ✨ Every time I go, the vibe is grown, sexy, and fun. It’s the kind of place you pull up with your girls or your man and just… enjoy life. No mess, no stress, just vibes and good energy. Honestly, I complain every time because why do they make it so easy to have a great night? Now I gotta keep coming back. 🥂🔥 If you see me here acting up (respectfully), mind your business & grab a turkey leg.

Ok look the place was setup beautiful but we were miserable because the AC was out and it was so Hot in there but the food was ok not great. They only had one server the other set behind the counter on her phone the whole time we were there. It was about 8 of us in our party and that poor girl had 3 tables of other guess plus us and she had absolutely no help.

Came here to treat my sister who was in town. The turkey legs were really salty and luke warm. No memorable flavor but they were moist and not dry. Service was okay, nobody really smiled or talked to us about the menu. Majority of the staff was on their cell phones. However, love the vibe and atmosphere. Nicely decorated, DJ, spacious patio area and tv’s. I probably won’t go back and if I did it’d be for drinks and the music on a whim.

This establishment is a relaxing atmosphere. The food is delicious. I really like the turkey tenders. You have to try it. Get buffalo, Cajun ranch tenders with Mac and cheese. The daiquiris are good. I recommend the strawberry cheesecake daiquiri. The desserts are delicious, as well the banana pudding and peach cobbler.

I'm not from Dallas, but I saw this spot on TikTok and heard it was a great place to get a turkey leg. When we first walked in, it wasn’t clear if it was self-seating or not. After a few minutes, a server let us know we could sit anywhere. Once we sat down, it took about 10 minutes for someone to take our order. We ordered two different turkey legs and two drinks. After waiting for over an hour, the waitress finally brought out our food—only to tell us that they were out of turkey legs. One of the orders was wrong, and we still hadn’t received our drinks. At that point, we just asked to pay for the one turkey leg that was correct. The menu said it was $28, but our total came out to $36. I know tax isn’t $8 on a $28 item, but I couldn’t even verify it because we didn’t get a receipt. Overall, the service was terrible, the food was just okay, and I definitely wouldn’t come back.

I am new to the area and was looking for a laid back spot with a good vibe. The outdoor patio was indeed a vibe. My sis and I ordered their infamous turkey fries, mozzarella sticks, and 2 mixed drinks. Our total was $65! 😱 Drinks were good; music was good. A bit pricey. Still had a good time.
