Highly recommend! We did the coffee reading and it was hands down the best experience! Gizem was very helpful prior to our visit. She made the experience very personable from our 1st phone call. Once we arrived the atmosphere was so warm and welcoming and she greeted us with a huge smile. Hasan was so spot on with everything during our coffee reading! Thank you for an amazing experience!

Wow, is all I can say. It was such a great experience to have some authentic Turkish coffee. It has been a very long time since I've had some. This cozy little place on the corner is fantastic if you want a different kind of coffee and turkish pastries. Everything, from the way they serve it to the taste, is as authentic as you can get it. The staff is amazing and make sure you go downstairs to some amazing Microart.

Absolutely loved my experience at this Turkish cafe! The ambiance is simply beautiful, with gorgeous decor that creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. The food was fantastic – everything was full of flavor and presented beautifully. The coffee is exceptional, and the tea was equally delightful. The customer service was top-notch, making the visit even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends, and I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Google
A small yet beautifully decorated cozy shop with an extensive menu. 3 visits in 6 days and 20 min drive one way show how much I enjoy this place :-) Tried the pistachio coffee & cake, and both are nice for my 1st solo visit on 12/28. Came back the 2nd time 3 days later for more delicious drinks (coffee and teas) and food (Turkish breakfast, pastries) on 12/31. And then again 2 days later on 1/2 for more goodies.

The location was very easy to find, parking was not an issue even for a weekend. Desserts and Turkish Coffee was amazing. The hospitality was top notch and the ambiance was very authentic. It was great to meet the owner and chat a little bit. Highly recommend trying the desserts especially the mosaic cake.

I had the most wonderful experience at this charming Turkish cafe! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the warm and welcoming owner, who immediately made us feel at home. The atmosphere is absolutely adorable, with unique coffee holders that add a special touch to the whole experience. The coffee was rich, flavorful, and perfectly brewed—definitely some of the best I've had in a long time. Paired with a delightful selection of traditional Turkish delicacies, each bite was a little piece of heaven. The staff was efficient and attentive. If you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy amazing coffee, delicious treats, and friendly service, this cafe is a must-visit! I’ll definitely be back for more. Thank you to the kind owner and wonderful team for such a memorable visit!

Google
I had a wonderful experience at Turkish Coffee Lady in Alexandria! It was a delightful cultural journey through their authentic specialty coffees and treats. The Minty Cappadocia Coffee was refreshing, and the Turkish Apple Tea was a perfect complement. My son loved the filo dough with beef, and my daughter couldn't get enough of the baklavas—especially the ones with walnuts and pistachios. I opted for the filo dough with feta and spinach, which was savory and satisfying. The ambiance is warm, reflecting their passion for sharing Turkish traditions with every cup and bite. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore unique flavors and enjoy a piece of Turkish culture!

This café is a true gem for anyone who wants to experience Turkish culture in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Turkish coffee here is exceptional—rich, authentic, and perfectly prepared. The owner and staff are incredibly kind and friendly, making you feel right at home from the moment you step in. The place itself is beautifully decorated, cozy, and full of charm. Whether you’re a coffee lover or just looking for a lovely spot to relax, this café is definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
Lovely coffee shop! Gul was a great host and server. We enjoyed the Turkish coffee and tea with our pistachio baklava and chocolate hazelnut baklava. Must try!

Yelp
While walking to our destination, my husband and I spotted Turkish Coffee Lady and immediately got excited. We promised each other that we'd return after our meeting--and I'm so glad we did! From the moment we stepped inside, the owner welcomed us with such warmth that I felt at home right away. I even greeted her with a cheerful "Merhaba!" (hello in Turkish), and she was absolutely amazing. The coffee shop itself is beautifully authentic, with a cozy ambiance that instantly transports you to Turkey. Though we were still full from lunch and couldn't indulge in baklava or other sweets, we enjoyed a perfectly brewed Turkish tea, which always hits the spot after a big meal. They also had börek, which looked absolutely delicious--I'm already regretting not trying it! The location is super convenient, just a short walk from the Metro, making it an easy stop for anyone in the area. I only wish we lived closer because I'd be here all the time. I love this place so much and highly recommend it--it truly deserves more than 5 stars! Can't wait to come back and try more!

Yelp
I've been eying the Turkish Coffee lady for sometime now and I'm excited that I finally made it in. The staff were extremely helpful, especially since it was my first time. The ambiance was so gorgeous very quaint and cozy. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying other coffee flavors. I had a pistachio based coffee. It was nice and light. I also love that they offer you water to cleanse your pallet, and Turkish delights on the side.

N P.

Yelp
Love the Turkish coffee. Tried a bunch of their food - chocolate baklava was great.

Kimi S.

Yelp
For over fifteen years the Turkish Coffee Lady has been bringing Turkish hospitality to the Northern Virginia area. I first heard of them when the Real Housewives worked with the owner to do Turkish tea leaf readings on one of the episodes. Now I always make time to stop by when I am hanging out in Old Town. The row house is so chic and comfortable, like visting a worldly best friend for an afternoon coffee. Presentation for the specialty Turkish coffees are absolutely beautiful, but I usually go for a simple latte. They have many delicious pastries to share and I am a fan of the pistachio cake and savory beef or cheese pastries. Woman-owned, locally-owned, and great coffee. It does not get any better than this!

Alex ..

Yelp
Delicious coffee and sweet treats!! The woman who owns the shop is also very sweet and welcoming

Tatyana F.

Yelp
Adorable place for true coffee connoisseurs. Forget burned coffee of Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts and come to this place for healthy, nutritious Turkish breakfasts with veggies and bureks. They have over a dozen of various coffees. Order several at the sand time as the cups are small. If you crave frappes, they are different than American kinds, much smoother. Overall great place!

Yelp
Coffee Shop No. 59 Turkish Coffee Lady Old Town Alexandria, VA July 13, 2022; April 8, 2023; September 19, 2024 I wrapped up the Old Town Alexandria Coffee Trail with the Turkish Coffee Lady. This is my third visit to the shop and it would just feel wrong to not have them on the trail. The shop is on the corner KIng St. and N. Patrick Street. The shop is not large, but it is bright, comfortable and welcoming. My favorite spot is right in front of the window, but it was taken so I settled for their comfy couch. There are also some bistro style tables along the wall. The decor is colorful and vibrant so take sometime to explore while your finely ground Turkish coffee is boiling in the cezve (assuming this special pot is used). Rarely do I stray away from a cortado, except in the case of Turkish coffee. I have come to enjoy the highly caffeinated unfiltered drink (kinda like my personality). Turkish coffee from the Turkish Coffee Lady is an experience. You'll be served your coffee on a tray with the coffee, water and some Turkish delights. Beware of taking teenagers with you because they will try and sneak the yummy Turkish delights off of your tray! Enjoying life one cortado (sometimes a Turkish coffee) at a time!

Yelp
Wonderful experience. This is my second time visiting and both have been great with service, flavors, and overall experience. A coffee placing giving away free coffee? Yup. Thanks to Internatioal Coffee Day, Turkish Coffee Lady was doing just that with another purchase. I had the pistachio, chocolate, caramel option. It also comes with Turkish Delight. Overall, it is a beautiful presentation. I had the Turkish borek. I love the different regional options for this. I'm more familiar with it in the Balkans as burek. This meat borek was flavorful, crispy dough outside, and nice meaty inside. I really enjoyed it. Free tea too! What wonderful hospitality. Typical rea in the class cup. Enjoyable. The decor is really pretty. Lots of nice Turkish decorations. Easy 5*. Give them a try!

Yelp
This place is fantastic! Popped in for a coffee with my friends while walking around Alexandria and wasn't disappointed. It was clean, welcoming and cozy. They had a selection of different Turkish coffees to try (I went with the Cappdoccia), pastries, and breakfast items. I wasn't planning on getting food, but as soon as I saw that they had manti (Turkish meat dumplings in a yogurt sauce), I knew I had to get them. I haven't been able to find any closer to where I live, so I was stoked. They were so good! The coffee was also delicious, and it was served so beautifully. Everyone working there was great, a lovely woman from the shop came up and gave us all roses -- it was so sweet and definitely made us all smile. If you've never tried Turkish coffee (or manti) I highly recommend giving it a shot here.

Yelp
Take me back to this place! My sister and I visited on 7/6/24 in the late morning hours. We had never been here before, and their vast selection made it hard to choose, but fortunately the lady at the counter was patient and was any to help. We ordered an apple tea (think apple juice for adults but 100% better and less sweet) and an iced coffee of the mixed flavored mardin (interested flavor, unlike any other coffee I've had, next time I would go with the traditional). I appreciated that they had samples of the coffee grounds to smell to help you decide what blend to order. The apple tea was so good that we had to order another round before leaving! There are not a lot of spots to sit for large groups, a group of 4 could sit comfortably, but no more. They have a clean bathroom behind the counter for customers to use. Overall, a darling little cafe to go to and I can't wait to visit again!

Juhi T.

Yelp
My mom and I stopped in for an afternoon coffee and tea. We received excellent service and personal attention, as they answered all of our questions and made recommendations. A very warm and inviting atmosphere, cozy and colorful. The pastries were very well made. All in all great experience!

Amara V.

Yelp
my iced pumpkin latte frappe tasted milky and had no flavor. i was also charged $8.50 for it even though the sign says $7.25. $9.43 in total for one drink is pretty pricey imo. place seems pretty busy and decor is nice.

Rojina K.

Yelp
Coffee was delicious - great ambiance and owner was lovely. She was extremely helpful explaining the menu.

Alan S.

Yelp

Andrew H.

Yelp
A nice location, very convenient in Old Town. However, it's a bit overpriced and not really enough seating. But I guess I can't really expect an authentic Turkish experience (e.g. endless tea) when they have Old Town overhead expenses to worry about.

Shaila A.

Yelp
I had the Mardin iced coffee, which was absolutely yummy. I enjoyed having the coffee options in front available to smell and have some details about each option! I did have quite a wait with not many people in front of me. I think there's only one lady taking and making orders and another coming out to serve them which is probably why. But otherwise I had a positive experience and would recommend the coffee. I also had a pastry I forgot the name of but remind me of a pistachio kunefeh texture.

LeAnn F.

Yelp
This was one of the most unique activity I've done in the DMV We did a Turkish coffee Workshop & reading Gizem White, the founder, taught us this 500 yr old tradition of brewing Turkish Coffee on hot sand Then, we got a fortune reading from this famous micro painting artist @hasankale_microangelo , which his art is displayed downstairs. He read our fortune from the coffee grind. This was my 1st time getting my fortune read, but it was scary accurate During this time, we enjoyed Turkish tea, Turkish delight, and baklava. they were both super nice and friendly. Just telling me about their background! I highly recommend trying this workshop. It's only $40 and on the weekends. Make sure to call or email them ahead of time. There is street parking nearby. And it does get packed in there.

Jazlyn G.

Yelp
I loooove psychic readings and had a wonderful experience getting my coffee grains ready. For about $50, you can receive a reading, coffee, and tea. I loved the beautiful presentation of my delicious treats, unique cultural experience, ambiance, and lovely service. Can't wait to return!

Amy O.

Yelp
AHH this place was so delicious. We randomly found this place as we were walking back to our car in the rain and it was such a pleasant experience. DRINKS/FOOD: We ordered Turkish delight, baklava, acma chocolate, and the woman at the register recommended the apple tea, and OMG this was heavenly! I even asked to buy the tea to take home, but it wasn't available. Guess I'll just have to make a trip back! ATMOSPHERE: It's like a little Turkish-style cafe. Cozy seating, where they serve you in traditional Turkish tea sets. It made for such a great experience. Will I come back? 1000%! I'm dreaming of that apple tea.

Shruti A.

Yelp
This was my first time here, and I will definitely be coming back! The woman behind the counter patiently explained what everything was, and I was surprised to find so many vegan options. I got 5 or 6 different vegan Turkish delights and all were amazing! The ambiance is nice and cozy. There were different type of seating options.

Ambi B.

Yelp
The food and staff are amazing. It's a cute little corner cafe gorgeously decorated with authentic Turkish tchotchkes. 10/10 recommend.

Paul E.

Yelp
Excellent authentic Turkish coffee shop located in old town Alexandria. I haven't had an authentic cup of Turkish coffee since my last trip to that country over a decade ago and was not disappointed with the Silky Mardin I got at this business. The coffee was very well made with great aromatics and a velvety texture that was in line with what I came to love and appreciate in my past travels to Turkey. If you are a fan of this type of coffee than this business is a must visit where you will not be disappointed. Hearty five stars in my book!

PHAN D.

Yelp
Finally got a chance to try this gem. The decor and music will charm you as soon as you enter. Flashbacks of my last visit to Istanbul. Counter service was patient with my many questions. Settled on trying out some classics. Ordered a Turkish coffee, of course. It comes out in a gold set piece and complimentary Turkish delights. They explained how to drink Turkish coffee properly. Paired it with a tres leches that was sweet without being overpowering. At night, I can see the tables lit with candles. Will be back with friends!

Lexi L.

Yelp
I loved every minute of my life in Turkey. This shop is legit and reminds me of those wonderful times. That pipping hot tea bought back so many memories!!!! The baklava was just as sweet as I remember and I can't wait to come back. Even the decor is SPOT ON!!! I don't know countrymen with more love for a country!!! The young lady that served me was sweet and accommodating; my treats came out quick and I honestly didn't want to leave. Thanks Turkish Coffee Lady for stirring up some good old memories, I hope I get a chance to go back there one day as well as visit here again!!!

Destiny E.

Yelp
Honestly, this place is such a vibe. I really enjoyed my time here and look forward to coming back. In addition to having a delicious selection of coffees, teas, and other items, they have pastries, books, games, and tons of evil eye Decor for purchase, and just display. The employees here were super nice. What I love most about this place is that they offer readings, which I will definitely be getting the next time I come here. Service was fast, the vibe was casual, but cool. They seem to have an expensive menu outside of pastries and coffees, but I didn't try anything yet. For one pastry and two hot chocolates, we paid about $20. Definitely worth it, given the vibe of this place. All in all, I would recommend.

Ivory D.

Yelp
Such a cute place! Reminds me of authentic Istanbul! It's small indoors but once inside, I was able to order and was seated shortly.

RJ L.

Yelp
If you like Turkish coffee this is the place for you. If you don't know what Turkish coffee is... it's STRONG! The place is very small with a cute seating area. The woman at the counter can explain everything to you. I highly recommend trying something sweet and savory.

Joyce A.

Yelp
Awesome vibe. Owner is so gracious and hospitable. Felt like visiting family. Turkish coffee was excellent. Spinach feta pastry was a 10. Baklava with pistachio was excellent. I will be back!

Liberty G.

Yelp
Wow! This place exudes authenticity, whisking me away to Turkey with its incredible ambiance. The pastries and coffee are simply divine, unlike anything I've ever tasted before. Each pastry is a delightful treat, and the coffee is exceptional. It's definitely a must-visit! The cozy atmosphere adds to the charm, with hand painted wall art and the service is prompt and friendly. Although street parking is the only option, the surrounding area is lovely and perfect for a leisurely stroll.

Linda P.

Yelp
This coffee spot located in Old Town Alexandria has been on my list to visit for years. I finally got a chance to visit the other week. It was worth the one hour drive! Ambiance and Vibe When you walk in, there is everything from evil eyes to a wall mural of Istanbul to a small Turkish Coffee Shop replica. You feel like you've walked into a cafe in Turkey itself. Every corner is intentionally filled with something from Turkey, from the cushions you sit on to the glasses you drink from. Turkish/Middle Eastern music plays in the background as you relax. It feels cozy and welcoming, you don't ever feel rushed to leave. Food I had the pistachio cake, mosaic cake, red velvet, and the baklava with ice cream. I can't pick my favorite one, but pistachio took the lead by a small bit. The owner came to offer me some delicious Turkish delights with my drink as well. I did not get a chance to taste the savory items yet. Drinks I got a Turkish Coffee. I booked a reading as well, which you can do by calling the shop. After the reading, I got a Turkish tea as well. Pricing Fair and comparable to other coffee shops and cafes. There is a large variety of items in various price ranges depending on if you need a light snack or a sandwich. The pricing on the Turkish Breakfast is very reasonable and that would be the next thing I try. Service Spectacular service. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Everyone is very warm and makes you feel like it's your local "go-to" spot. The owner Gizem is extremely kind and will walk around to chat with all the customers. Parking There is metered street parking available close by.

Roy A.

Yelp
Amazing coffee shop with fabulous seating, the coffee is very authentic, great selection of Turkish treats and relaxing music. The shop was full but a table was promptly cleared and we got a table to enjoy our fabulous coffee. This is a must try if in Old Town Alexandria.

Mark L.

Yelp
If you can't get to Turkey, or anywhere in the Middle East, this has to be the closest place to it. Served in the traditional way with a side of water, and Turkish Delight - 100% authentic, choose from a selection of coffees, warm savoury pies, and many delicacies. The Almond Cookie was unbelievable!

Paul J.

Yelp
I've found my favorite spot in Alexandria! The Turkish Coffee Lady is as authentic a place as you'll find in the DC area for good Turkish coffee and desserts. We got the traditional Istanbul Coffee (dark, thick and bitter) and the Gizmeli Pistachio coffee (lighter and sweeter). Each was served with a glass of water and three cubes of Turkish Delight. We also got the Baklava with walnuts, Sekerpare, Baklava with chocolate, and Baklava with pistachio. Sweet, flaky and delicate - the perfect contrast to the coffee. And then we sat on the cushions, listened to Middle Eastern music and just sipped and gnoshed while folks came in and out on a beautiful spring day. We happened to be visiting on Eid al-Fitr, so we snapped a photo of the staff as they celebrated. I'm lucky enough to have visited Istanbul and the coffee and treats at Turkish Coffee Lady reminded me of every drop and bite that I had during that visit. Stop by and visit Turkish Coffee Lady for a fun experience!

Roya J.

Yelp
Such a cute little coffee shop! The display cases gave it a certain charm, but I was also torn with the fact that they took a lot of room and made the seating area cramped. Visit and judge for yourself. Service was friendly and I had fixed feelings about the coffee. I felt the traditional Turkish coffee was much better than some of the special blends. The Turkish delight they serve with a coffee was a nice treat. The baklava, however. wasn't very good. Couldn't put my finger on it, whether it was old or doused in too much syrup. The other cute thing this place offers coffee fortune readings. The husband does the reading and the wife is the translator. Of course they communicate back-and-forth and it's a fun little thing. Then, they made a fun fact which they could not have known. An overall interesting and fun experience nonetheless.

Zack G.

Yelp
Small one-of-a-kind Turkish cafe with a very authentic feel The owner was very friendly, and she was more than willing to explain all of the different unique offerings. These included a few pastries, teas, and Turkish coffees I got an iced Turkish coffee, a baklava, and a blueberry muffin. None of it was my favorite, but it was a very cool experience coming here and trying something new Limited seating

Sally G.

Yelp
Wow oh wow!!! My mind was blown when I tried the coffee from here! My friend and I were looking for a coffee shop with good reviews and boy, did I find it! Another review said that the coffee was life changing so I had to find out for myself. I'd like to consider myself a bit of an amateur coffee connoisseur and I've tried a lot of different coffee shops. That review was completely right about the coffee! Not only is the interior so cute and quaint, the coffee was divine! I love how the moment you walk in, it's like you travelled to a different place. It's almost like a mini Turkey inside! The woman taking our order was so sweet and made sure we were taken care of with our order. Will definitely be back!

Heather T.

Yelp
Life changing coffee. Literally the best coffee we've ever had in our lives. I just wish this place was stroller friendly- but it's literally incredible coffee. They get a pass.

Kathy C.

Yelp
The lamb manti were amazing, tiny bundles with a Hungarian goulash type sauce! Coffee selections very different, pistachio was very tasty!

Alana P.

Yelp
Just had a decaf pistachio Turkish coffee along with a slice of pistachio and chocolate Baklava. I never thought that coffee and those two food treats could be so satisfying. Service was excellent, as the person behind the register was very knowledgeable. It is a very nice coffee shop. I really have to go back. Their drink menu is definitely interesting and I plan on going back to try as many as possible. Ambiance was, in my opinion: Quaint; It is a nice spot to meet up with one other person. It is not loud. Very lovely atmosphere. Update: 6/20/24 - Bought a pistachio latte and two baklava treats. Cost was $17.05. That is ALOT. I am actually wondering if I was over charged in error. So watch out for that.

Malcolm J.

Yelp
Great experience! Closest you can get to visiting Istanbul without getting on a plane. The Turkish coffee was authentic. The apple tea was delicious. The shop is beautiful, clean and inviting. The hospitality was genuinely friendly. I'll be back.

Sanchita G.

Yelp
The place was a cute little place in Alexandria on King Street! the place itself was very well decorated and cutesie, however, I know since they are a smaller business I really hope they can grow into a bigger space! there was way too may customers for the amount of space but that is good for them. but I really hope they can expand! In addition, because there was so many people there, the service was slower, but I believe if they found a bigger space to expand to, they could definitely be faster as well! I got the iced turkish coffee and turkish delites and cold baklava which were ALL amazing!! :D I was a big fan of each and every thing I got!

Angela M.

Yelp
Great service and ambiance but that's not what I went for. Just a simple vanilla latte on a rainy day. I'm very critical of my coffee. Especially when I'm paying $7 for it. I'm on the hunt to find the best latte in old town. My coffee was mostly milk and syrup (see color) I tasted zero coffee I'm beyond disappointed and I will not be returning.

Tina V.

Yelp
Cute little cafe! My friend and I got the $70 set with 30 mins reading, coffee, baklava, and a pastry. I really enjoyed the reading because of how wonderful the interpreter and the Turkish coffee reader was. Such a unique experience and loved the opportunity to learn about Turkish culture!

John L.

Yelp
This shop has tasseography! Tasseography is a fortune-telling method that interprets patterns in coffee grounds. For a price ($40), you get a cup of Turkish coffee, 3 Turkish delights, a baklava, and a fortune reading of your coffee grounds. Details on arranging for a reading, what to expect at a reading, and a description of my reading are in the last 2 paragraphs below. My wife and I tried 3 drinks and 3 desserts. 1) Turkish tea It was a black tea with no bitterness. It was full-bodied with a bit of astringency. It didn't need sweetening. It had a nice aroma and was easy to drink plain. 2) Mardin Turkish coffee with Turkish delights The coffee is a blend with chocolate, caramel, almond, pistachio, and cardamom flavors. It was a medium roast coffee that was heavy bodied with flavors that were nutty, earthy, and woodsy. The coffee bean fruit flavors dominated over the other flavors. A flavorful and unique coffee that we liked. Turkish Delight is made from a sugar syrup and starch milk mixture that is cooked for five to six hours, and then a flavor is added. The mixture is then poured into large trays to set. Five hours later, they are rolled, cut, and dusted with icing. The Turkish delights we got were coated with powdered sugar. It was extremely sweet with an unidentifiable flavor. 3) Pistachio Zeugma Turkish coffee The coffee is a blend with pistachio. It is decaffeinated and CAN NOT be used for tasseography. This one was the closest in flavor to regular medium roast coffee. It was medium-bodied and had a mild nutty flavor. This was good in a typical way. 4) Walnut baklava and Pistachio baklava The baklava were made by a vendor. They were made with filo dough, sugar syrup, butter, crushed nuts, and lemon. They were flaky, sweet, and moist with plenty of nuts. Delicious with coffee, but less appealing on their own. The sugar syrup was just too plain. 5) Red Velvet cake This was made by a vendor. It had 3 layers of which the frosting layers were whipped cream, not cream cheese. The frosting was typical in taste and texture. There was cocoa powder on top of the cake. Typical also. The cake was soft and moist with light flavors of cocoa, vanilla, and buttermilk. It lacked butteriness. It was edible but not rich in flavor. To make an appointment for tasseography, call the business to get a date and time. When you show up, go to the order counter and tell them you are there for your reading. You will pay first, and then you tell them your coffee flavor of choice. Decaffeinated coffee can not be used for reading. When you get your coffee, drink it until only coffee grounds are left. The owner will usually be there to show you how to turn the coffee cup upside down on the saucer. Then, wait for the grounds to dry inside the cup. The owner will tell you when to go downstairs to have your reading done by Hasan Kale. The owner, Gizem White, translates for you since Mr Kale doesn't speak English. You will be asked to make a wish. Then, you will be asked some questions. Then, predictions will be told to you. You can make a voice recording, but not video recording. The reading will take around 15 minutes. My reading showed a good year in 2024 with some travel, especially to New York. He told me that my wish would come true. I wished that my persistent medical problem would get cured. It seems to have been cured with the last new treatment. I was told that the taurus sign was something to keep in mind, and a person whose name starts with S will be in my future. I was advised to relax more and to stress less about problems. Things would get better. Well, life has gotten better physically and mentally since the reading. I can't complain. We'll see about the rest. The experience was friendly, polite, helpful, and sincere. The owner is pleasant and welcoming with a store that is upscale, comfortable, and casual. If you want to try something unique, give them a visit.

Salma C.

Yelp
Charming, cute interior that is very welcoming. I wanted a decaf pistachio latte but iced. Maybe it's because I was thinking how other coffee shops make this drink, but I didn't taste any pistachio flavor and it was just coffee grounds. I thought there'd be a pistachio syrup, but no. Instead, it was just the pistachio coffee grounds with some milk, water, and ice. You could see the coffee grounds at the bottom of the drink and the sugar was crystallized/hard in chunks and not properly stirred. It was not good at all for $7. I couldn't get myself to finish it. I was really disappointed because I had been eyeing this place for a while. I am giving this place 3 stars to be kind since the ladies were very nice. If I ever come back again, I'd try their pastries or something safe like a tea. But, keep this in mind when ordering coffee here- even the lattes

The Turkish Coffee Lady was delightful. I had the Pistachio Zeugma (Decaf), feta Acma, and a few types of baklava. Everything was delicious and presented beautifully. I would highly recommend this spot!

Yelp
I came across this gem of a place while walking around on King Street. They serve Turkish coffee, lattes, smoothies, food, and even sell Turkish tea sets and evil eye trinkets. All of their food is on display and they have quite a variety of traditional savory and sweet items. Their Turkish coffees are on display at the register in cups so you can smell them before ordering. I ended up getting an iced latte with the traditional Turkish coffee because it's a very hot day. It's so so good! I also got a cheese pie which was delicious and filling. I can't wait to come back one day and get the coffee again. The decor is very cute and inviting. The place is very small though so seating is not easy to come by. I ended up being able to snag a table which was great. It's definitely not the type of coffee shop you work from but it's 100% worth visiting for a quick coffee stop. The staff was super helpful and friendly as well.

Yelp
I couldn't get down with the overall taste of the coffee. To me, it tasted as if it was truly burnt and bitter. I had to toss it out when my partner was looking. Sorry =/ The establishment was cute and quaint. Bathrooms were hard to get too due to all the clutter in the back (incredibly narrow). Tables were clean, staff was kind and their desserts looked good.
