After reading some of the reviews I thought I should leave my own. I’ve been here twice in two weeks once to get a sweater we saw online from Queen of sparkles and a return trip to buy a sweater dress my wife looked amazing in. Both times I’ve gone in the store I’ve been greeted by an employee. Just a simple hello nothing fancy. Both times at checkout I’ve had a nice conversation about the pieces I’ve bought. I’m a very brown Mexican man and have been to this store before. I’ve never felt ignored or followed around. For me it’s good because I don’t want to be ignored but I also don’t want to be followed around. I’ve never gone dressed up to this store. Usually I’m in crocs and a T-shirt with shorts. This store carries quality products and brands that are the same price as the designers website. These brands are the ones lesser designers copy. So yes they are expensive but priced accordingly. We enjoy shopping at this boutique and will continue giving them our business. Note: For the men. This is not a store for us . Just go in there and watch your wife try on clothes. Trip date November 12 2024.

My experience left much to be desired. From the moment I walked in, I didn't feel welcomed at all. The staff seemed disinterested and borderline snobby, making me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. Furthermore, I was shocked by the exorbitant prices of the items. While I understand that boutique clothing can be more expensive due to its uniqueness, the prices at Turquoise Door were simply unreasonable. Overall, I left the store feeling disappointed and frustrated. I had hoped for a pleasant shopping experience but instead encountered unwelcoming staff and overpriced items. I won't be returning here anytime soon, and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to others.

I had to return a shirt and they don't offer refunds, just store credit, which was fine. They sent me a store credit card that was clearly used (very worn and scratched) and the card was invalid when I tried to use it. I've sent 2 emails with no response. It was a $143 charge that they haven't reconciled.

Wanted to love this place for some many reasons... BUT.. I wouldn’t ever suggest spending your money at this local shop. When you enter, the greeting is less than welcoming. A little hello, and then crickets. Don’t try small talk with the staff either, that is beneath them. Their items are trendy, but wayyyyy overpriced. I would consider spending a little more if they made me feel like they wanted my money. It was like they were bothered that I was there... personal conversations between the two sales clerks going on without or acknowledging that I was shopping. I always try to spend my money at the local shops, but will not suggest to anyone to bother wasting your time here... they really could care less. Snobby, uninterested and not a great selection of goods.

I will say I’ve always loved the turquoise door because their stuff is very cute and feminine. After watching all their Instagram stories during the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided to finally visit their store again. Well, I shouldn’t have. They were rude and snobby. From the moment we walked in, every other customer was greeted except for my mom and I. We spent $80 because we bought a gift for someone, however, I will not be returning. Considering we’re going through a major crisis right now, the customer service should’ve been excellent but instead they turned their noses up and didn’t ask if we needed anything. That’s funny, especially because we were the only customers in there actually buying something. Please be aware when you shop here, it won’t be pleasant. This is Spring, there’s plenty of other friendly boutiques I can shop at. After going here, I went to another shop where the service was completely different. This is not a good time to ignore or neglect your potential customers.

I’ve gone into this place several times over the past several years. I’m a Tomball native and always love shopping Mainstreet just due to supporting local businesses. However, each time I come into this boutique the customer service is horrendous. The owner is a very “I’m better than you” kinda person as well as the staff. Please do not believe their Facebook lives as they are the complete opposite in person. Not once have I ever been greeted when I walk in, but they definitely know I’m there. Never once am I asked if I’m finding everything okay or even given a smile at checkout. It’s almost like they don’t care unless you’re a close friend. I’ve even heard whispers among coworkers talking about customers in the store. I have NEVER received any positive customer service the handful of times I’ve been in this place over the years. Lastly, everything is so overpriced. I can find the same thing at another boutique for half the price. While yes, it is unique and there are a ton of cute items, why spend that kind of money when you can find it somewhere else cheaper AND have friendly customer service. Do better.

Details. Pretty Things. It's my jam. I'm a local and LOVE Shopping LOCAL. However, I am disappointed. And, this not just from me. But, from the girlfriends in this area. Don't take my word for it. Just ask around. The best sales come from word-of-mouth. 1. O V E R P R I C E D! 2. Never been greeted with: "Hello, How May I Serve You?" 3. I admit. I have purchased items here. I even follow them on social media. But, now I'm getting a little exhausted with the same model. Would it be possible to get a few models in different shapes and sizes. Not everyone is a size 2 and not everyone is a size 12 4. Obviously, folks are still buying their items -or- else they'd be out of business. My recommendation: "Begin with a serving heart and a posture of submission" and more girly-girls will drive business in these pretty doors!" Good Luck :)

I was ignored, never once greeted and when I asked for help the associate sighed outloud and walked as slow as she possibly could. I felt so uncomfortable with what was going on that I said I’d be right back but I ended up leaving. As soon as I got in my car I broke down in tears because I never was so boldly and obviously disliked by someone who saw my mere existence and became what seemed to be disgusted. I’m African-American.

Yelp
This store is so cute! They have what you are looking for it you are fun and festive and don't want to see your outfit on everyone! It's a must shop if you are in tomball. But they have a great online store and tryons on their insta store usa almost everyday. I highly recombine it!

Yelp
Cute shop in downtown Tomball with all kinds of items and clothing from local vendors. Prices are on the upper end on most items there, but they do have cute and unique items. It got a bit crowded with so many items in a tight spot, but we managed to work our way through and didn't spend anything. That was no easy feat..

Yelp
I was browsing online trying to find a coveted dress by Sister Mary, when I came across The Turquoise Door. THEY HAD IT! We ordered it over the phone, they were so helpful! Fast forward a few weeks, I was visiting family in Magnolia, and they wanted to go to the Tomball Farmers Market. On the way there.. I said, Oh I ordered a dress from The Turquoise Door in Tomball. They said Its right across the street! I said WE HAVE TO GO! So glad we did! They have such cute gifts, home decor, candles and clothing! I bought a good amount of things. The customer service is superb, and the store is just set up perfectly! I cannot wait to come back whenever I am in the area.

Yelp
This boutique cannot be skipped! Great new location and the selection are great with lots of variety! Great and wide selection of Consuela bags! The clothing buyer does a really good job with lots of reasonable options!

Yelp
Absolutely adorable store! Recently shopped here in Old Town Tomball over Christmas vacation and left with items such as unique home decor and cute boutique clothing. As soon as you walk in, you're welcomed by friendly staff followed by the wonderful smell of their large candle selection. If you're looking for shabby chic & southern home decor, this is DEFINITELY the place! If I could, I would walk out with just about every piece of furniture! I cannot wait to visit Houston again to visit The Turquoise Door!

Yelp
This is by far the cutest store in Tomball. I love the displays and organization of the store. It is divided into holiday merchandise, household, children's , ladies, woman's and accessories. Some items are priced pretty high and unfortunately customer service is very average. Cute items, check it out.

Yelp
This boutique has a variety of clothing items, purses and household nik-naks. Overpriced for sure as you can order these things on Amazon for half the price. I'm all about supporting small businesses though. However, the staff at this store is by far the rudest, unprofessional people I have ever seen in a boutique atmosphere. To start, not one person greets you as you walk through the door. Maybe they are busy with other customers perhaps? Nope. They'd rather play on their phones, go about doing what they are doing and not even acknowledge you. If I'm going to spend a good chunk of change (I specially went there to purchase the LV yeti like cups) I expect at least to feel welcomed. This is not the case. I was floored of the demeanor of the staff. I will NEVER spend a dime at this location. I will gladly go elsewhere and receive customer service from a store who actually care about their customers. It's amazing this store has made it this long. With Covid having such a horrible affect on businesses, you'd think they would be more grateful for the customers who try to shop local with them. Don't waste your time here. There are so many other boutique locations with the same product for half the price and better customer service. After reading previous reviews of this place, this is apparently the norm of it. It's sad that not even the owner herself tries to rectify the bad customer service that continues to go down hill.

Yelp
This is a cute little boutique on Main Street. The clothes are super cute for both Women and kids. Love the Christmas decor also. I've seen some really great stuff here. A little on the pricey side though. Unfortunately the ladies that work their are not very personable and offer up no help whatsoever while shopping.

Yelp
Great place to get some Christmas shopping done. I bought the cutest snowman and rain deer candy bowls. There clothes selection offer a good variety of styles and sizes.

Yelp
The staff was all really nice and helpful. One side of the shop is cute home decor (really cute Christmas decor right now too), jewelry, and children's clothes and toys. The other side has really cute clothes for ladies. I would say the style is more targeted at 30 and under but my mom also saw a few things she liked. They are a little higher ticketed items but not outrageous like some boutiques. They have everything from everyday shirts to sparkly dresses. I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area.
