Nice new addition to Midtown… nicely lit and comfortable, the bar has a straightforward vibe and the food is pretty good! The BEC Donut was legit surprising. The whole replace roll with pastry nonsense normally is ok but these guys with the spicy aioli and the sugar donuts.. try it very tasty! Looking forward to go back for drinks.

Had a lovely dinner here on a Friday night! It’s a great atmosphere with sports and dimly lit lighting. Awesome spot to meet up with friends or for a date night! We started with the martinis that were great and the crispy shrimp. Steak sandwich was a huge portion and the fries were amazing! Ended with the espresso martini. Def recommend checking it out

This place is super festive and cozy! My dad and I came as walk ins last night 12/21/24 around 6pm and were able to snag one of the few booth tables in the back. We seated ourselves. The place seemed a bit understaffed. We had to let them know we were ready to order, but the experience was otherwise really good. The waitress was kind and a guy with an Irish accent, I believe, came to check on us a few times- the manager or owner maybe? My dad got the smashburger which he really liked, and I got the salmon which was delicious. Didn’t love the cauliflower rice but the sauce was great. A slight kick and lots of flavor. Would totally come back again!

Happily surprised with the quality and flavor of the food. Great service. The vegetarian avocado toast was amazing. All of us in a party of 7 were really pleased. They loved their hamburguers and burrito. Decent coffee as well.

Cheese sticks were fantastic, extra thick, perfect crunch but not too heavily breaded, and a spicy red sauce for dipping. Very loud inside. Expect to shout to talk to the person next to you. Great vibe and staff is top notch. Would return.

Randomly stopped in and had an amazing waitress (shout out Marie!) and delicious fries + aoili. Will definitely be back to try the full menu! A couple outdoor tables for great people watching.

Wow! TBT is my new go to spot on Second Avenue! Staff behind the bar and on the floor all tremendous! Great food and a real nice pint of Guinness! TVs for all sports and music fits the vibe! TBT is Turtle Bay Tavern 975 Second Avenue between 51st and 52nd Streets! Boom!!!!

This place is actually amazing with both food and drinks. The burger here is one of the better burgers I've had. The juiciness reminded me of the burger I had at Minetta Tavern. I loved it so much that I'm making it my new Monday night spot where they do a $10 burger deal. The service here is amazing. Darren and Sean were behind the bar. These guys are legends. The ambiance is perfect. Good music and good vibes.

Drinks: A Mixed well, and well garnished. Food: B Have a sign in the restaurant that they have the best hamburger in New York. Then their burger is a regular cheeseburger on a sesame seed bun. I really liked the bun actually, but the burger itself was very basic and average. Service: A- Only negative is that they can be a little slow serving and making drinks

Came here for dinner and drinks before a show and the service and speed were both excellent. The bartenders and waitstaff were very friendly and accommodating and our food and drinks were both served very quickly. The mozzarella sticks were amazing and the burgers we got were average. The environment is casual and relaxed with a modern pub theme. Would definitely return!

Came here for drinks with friends. We were seated right away. It was like 10 of us and the waitress was very attentive. She took our orders and no one waited long for their food or drink. I had a beer and honey sriracha wings. The beer was served cold just how I like it. The wings came out hot and fresh. They were very flavorful and not overly saucy. The spice level is below average for me so your tongue won't be burning. I would go back there just for that. Their peppers were good too. It's a good hangout spot for afterwork and service was great.

Turtle Bay Tavern is a solid joint! We enjoyed a delicious dinner, opting for a booth in the back of the restaurant. We shared the shishito peppers, followed by the spicy rigatoni and tavern burger. The french fries that accompanied the burger were perfection. Overall Turtle Bay Tavern delivers on food, service, and atmosphere. Repeat customer for sure!

Cute bar! Cute location! Tons of seating! It was pretty dead which is nice if want to have conversations. Great music played! Service was mediocre. Server made us feel rushed and didn't check on us unless we called him to our table. It was only us and 4 other people in the place. This seems to be common in New York places? Once we ordered, the food was great! We ordered the burger and the nachos. The burger was very tasty!

In town staying nearby. Came to see the final four game. Lots of TVs available to watch the game. Wasn't crowed so service was quick and attentive. No complaints from the group on drinks. This is me being picky but would have liked a large single ice cube for old fashioned vs multi ice cubes.

Such a great bar seeing and drinking!! Perfect space and very air, great crowed , lightning just perfect! Bar itself beautiful, great selection of spirits, very handsome Irish guys working the bar, but the cocktails and food even better than I just had mentioned everything above. I love that is just few steps from my house. They will see me very often!

Went for the Monday $10 burger specials!! the smash burger was great, and it came with really good fries that were in a crinkle chip style. My friends said it was equivalent to Red Hook Taverns burger. In total I spent $17 with tip, which is almost unheard of for a dinner in NYC. Nice ambiance, we sat at high top tables. Service was ok - had to wait a bit to get extra sauce and call the server over for a check.

Rockin' new spot in Midtown East pouring cold pints and serving hot tasty food. The aesthetic lends a sense of cleanliness that I really appreciate. I was very impressed with their classic pub burger, and the chili nachos were also satisfying (could've used maybe a little more cheese and chili though). I received great service from the bartender and was amused by the sports event happening on TV; some kind of modern day chariot racing? Prices are average for the neighborhood, so not cheap, but I was happy with what I got for my money.

Not recommended place.Without provocation, rude, impolite and just terrible service. My first and last time.

This neighborhood spot is so great. We went recently and it was decorated so beautifully for the holidays. The service was great and the food was so tasty. This place definitely gives slightly elevated tavern vibes but still casual and a great place to hangout. Can't wait to go back!

The service was awesome, we went right before the rush for brunch started and they got all our meals out timely! the chicken and waffles and avocado toast were the favorites at the table + the mozz sticks. Surprisingly the burgers were disappointing which was unexpected for a tavern. The ambiance is what you'd expect with a tavern/pub type place with most tables being high tops which I don't prefer.

Great bartenders. Best burger I've had in a while. Love the place! It's fairly new but give it a try. You won't be dissatisfied

Great place for a work happy hour! Their fried shrimp is amazing, and the service is great. A bit loud, but what're you gonna do, it's a Manhattan bar. And I was there with a loud group, so it's entirely possible that's on us.

A new tavern in the turtle bay section of Manhattan on 2nd Ave that is much better then the other loud bars in the area and the burgers kick ass ..Nice leisure atmosphere here as I don't like the typical pub crowd way but this place is calm with bar and table seating for us casual folks who want to grab a bite and have a few drinks . Good selection of drinks , including non alcohol drinks and food gets high marks as the burgers , mozzarella sticks , nachos , and pasta dish which my friends and I ordered was on the money. Good friendly staff , reasonable prices and a good tavern to visit when your in the area . Many bars and restaurants have opened and closed Along this strip of 2nd Ave but I see a bright long future for this tavern on 2nd Ave . 4.5 stars on my yelp meter and will be back for brunch as the egg Benedict and pancakes look yummy.

I am in love with this place! This place is so cozy and vibrant. The staff is great, they very responsive and friendly, and last but least they have great and amazing burgers and others dishes as well. I highly recommend to visit Turtle Bay Tavern in NYC!

Love the new Turtle Bay Tavern! The neighborhood needed a good bar that is easy to pop into any time of the day. Servers were all very attentive, music was amazing and this will be a place we will go often! So excited for everyone to experience this amazing new neighborhood staple.

Amazing Brunch and even came back last week for their Monday night burger special what a deal. Theresa the owner was fantastic.

Very confusing on how your policy changed in less than 2 hours. I ordered 2 of the Monday burger specials at 6pm for my staff and picked them up. Called back to order 2 more for a guest at 7:59pm and I'm being told they are only for dine in. Luckily the guest heard the whole conversation and at this point the guest was willing to dine in but then I asked "is this new? because I just picked 2 up today", Theresa over the phone who seems like she just woke up and would rather be else where simply responded, "it's for dine in only". I then mentioned "I purchased one last week and I literally just picked two up less than 2 hours ago" and she again said "it's for dine in only." She could have easily said something along the lines of "our apologies that was a one time thing or we just changed it" but instead kept saying "it's for dine in only" in her monotone annoyed voice. At this point the guest was extremely turned off and asked for another nearby food spot. I work at an extremely busy hotel very close by and I always recommend this spot to my guest. That stops today and you can thank Theresa working Monday 3/31 at 7:59pm for that. Lastly attached you can see the receipt where it clearly says to go placed at 5:59, again not sure how this just changed within 2 hours

Great bartender & good spritzes! 10/10 would recommend, nice vibe and good music. Get the Hugo spritzes!

Terrible experience! Had a groupon for half off drinks during "thursday happy hour" from 6-9. We were THE only costumers in the place.... orders 2 drinks and an appetizer (not discounted) and showed the coupon. The female "owner/manager" was called over and refused to accept it, even though I bought it 2 days ago. I offered to pay half of the 2 drinks, so $16 instead of $32 (yes $32 for 2 mediocre, small drinks) fur the ones I ordered and would not expect half for any other drinks, plus we bought a full appetizer at regular price. This bozo of a manager instead decided to argue with me, even though I was in the right, and basically kicked us out, instead of dealing with groupon.... even though we were THE only customers at 7 pm on a thursday!! What does that say?? Wont be open long no matter how good the food might be (our appetizer stunk btw). No one needs to pay money to be treated this way.

Food is amazing, Sean the bartender was really attentive. The drinks were delicious, hot chicken sandwich was delicious.

Seems like this place is new since they're not many reviews. Everyone enjoyed the drinks we got. For food we got the wings and mozzarella sticks for appetizers and chicken sandwiches for entrees. Good quality and taste. I'd recommend to anyone looking to stop in for a drink or a meal.
