Turtle Grille

This place is a NO NO. Bad food, weird service, and hot room. Terrible restaurant. Eating by the pool in 120 degrees with full sun in your face and drinking liquor is something else because you don’t even know what you’re doing in those conditions. But dinning at the restaurant, avoid it. Unless you are already drunk and you probably don’t care 🤷‍♀️

Well we’re to start….. don’t just don’t …if you are going to charge these prices for food then plate it on a great value paper plate???… bar service sucks, not very clean and run down.. I get that they redid the outside that looks very nice.

Food portions were less than I expected for the cost, some of our food didn’t have what was listed in the ingredients on the menu. Server was great, but the food was pretty much the main issue. Ordered the pork soft tacos and the fries it came with were less than a handful. The tortilla for the soft tacos were soaked by the sauce so it wasn’t as enjoyable to eat. We ended up going home hungry still.

Wish I could post a positive but can't do that with already two in a row negative experiences (went a week ago just for a drink). This experience: drinks ordered by two of us had to go back, one had to go back three times to get it right. Then the drinks, at best, were just average. Service was absolutely horrible. Many customers were complaining about it, the lack of, then rude and inexperienced servers / bartenders. Food was so, so. One server totally ignored us and another group, acknowledging us then ignoring us after we waited for 45min-1 hr w/o service. We then found him chatting it up with other employees behind the bar (after we had to go and wait at the bar to get service). Too bad, the original Turtle bar and Grill used to be awesome! They used to be friendly, have good service with awesome food / drinks. Maybe you can find your way back to the original, quality destination? I will say the atmosphere was still great (even though changed), being more family friendly and the beach was better to pull up to if you're just visiting the bar and grill. The prices are fair and comparable to other, specialty establishments. Turtle Bar, if you just had decent service and adequate bartenders I would've given you 5 stars. Your location is phenomenal and a great destination for boaters. I don't think we'll be back though until (or if) we hear the service has improved.

For the price, the food was nothing amazing. But we sort of expect that at vacation style places, so it is what it is. It overlooks the water and had a good atmosphere. The waitress was very friendly and attentive too which we appreciated.

Really good customer service! From the hostess, server to the waitresses. The cocktails drinks we got weren't impressive at all but I surely liked the sauce they put on our veggie burger. The artisan pizza was also good. The view is amazing!

Great place to come park the boat, have an appetizer and a drink. The ambience is cool, laid back and has something for everyone. Tasty drinks, great upbeat service while enjoying the view.

Wow I really didn't like the food but views were unmatched. On our way home from Vegas, we stopped in Lake Havasu for lunch. We selected The Turtle Grille because it had gorgeous, panoramic views of the lake and resided on the island. Service was good but I really did not like the Fish and Chips. Ended up eating just the fries and didn't feel too hot afterwards.

The food here is so delicious the pokie bowl is my favorite. My husband had the beef nachos and gave them a 9 out 10! Our server Belenda was a doll, super friendly and quick with service and recommendations. We will be back and request her for our entire stay at the Nautical Beach Resort. Oh, I can't forget the bucket! It's called the classic turtle.... soooo good

This place may have been THE spot way back when, but it certainly isn't now. It's unfortunate, too, because the location is prime and the competition isn't too crazy. I came on the Fourth of July. Per our server, several people quit / didn't show up that day, so only four people were left to tend to the restaurant. Terrible for the customers, and even worse for the staff. The whole meal took forever, the food was sub-par, the servers genuinely tried, everything on the menu is at least $10 overpriced, and the view is the only redeeming quality. For a hotel restaurant, I would have expected much better. When you walk in, there's a decent enough ambiance and so much potential... sad.

My family and I have been coming here for over 15 years and up until today, the food and drinks have always been exceptional. If I could give them a sub zero rating for today I would. We came to bar to get drinks and the bartender was unbelievably rude, condescending and disrespectful. Totally uncalled for and we didn't even bother getting anything because it seemed like he didn't really want to serve us. I guess we won't be coming here anymore.

We are visiting Lake Havasu and found this hidden gem just looking for a breakfast spot and decided to stop and give it a try. We are so happy we did!!! Sat at the bar and was greeted by Kimberly with a smile and excellent customer service. Ordered the breakfast burrito and my husband said it was the best he ever had. If your in the area definitely stop you won't be disappointed

Small menu, but good food. The bartenders were super nice and friendly. Amazing view of the river. Casual beach bar with a cool vibe.

If you're thirsty or hungry I suggest go elsewhere. After waiting awhile to be seated and then over 15 minutes just to take drink orders, we left without anyone taking our drink orders. We were not ready to wait for an hour just to have order taken. Waiters were rude and clearly did not want to be there.

We stayed at the nautical and we were not expecting much from the connecting restaurant. But we were surprised! I came with a group of 7 for Fourth of July weekend and every single one of us enjoyed our meal. We each got something a bit different and we all enjoyed it.

Was here for Labor Day weekend! What an awesome Resort and this grille has something for everyone. My friends had a shrimp wrap and a cheeseburger. I had the pulled pork sand which. We also did brunch (buffet style) and some great bloody Mary's. Everyone there was so nice and the service was great.

Great service and food, Belinda is the best server. We have Been coming here for years and have a great time every time!

Love this place. Our server was attentive and made our experience enjoyable. The food was amazing as were the views. If you go, definitely get the breakfast burrito and nauti breakfast.

Came out on a last minute trip to go boating and stayed here for two nights. We came and had coffee and breakfast each morning with Emily and Catie and they were great! They gave us great tips on things to do and always were friendly. They knew our coffee order by last day since it never changed. Come enjoy breakfast with a view and can't wait to see the new tiki bar that's getting built.

After spending the morning at the pool in 110 degree heat, my friends and I decided that we needed to get into the a/c for lunch. We were seated at a table overlooking the outdoor beach and it looked really nice, if only it were about 30 degrees cooler. I decided to order the French dip with fries and a side of ranch. The sandwich had potential but had a few too many fatty bits for my liking. I ended up with a pile on the edge of my plate by the end of the meal. Aside from that, the meal wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special either. At $20 with tax and tip, it was a bit overpriced for what it was. I rarely finish an entire sandwich at a meal but this one was smaller than expected and I wasn't even overly full. When a couple of my friends decided to return to this restaurant for lunch the next day, I decided that I'd rather maximize my time in the pool and snack on all of our leftover goodies from the weekend on our car ride home. The food just didn't justify the cost.

Great view, friendly service, comfortable restaurant but the Nachos were lame and forgettable. The prices were very high - $40+ bucks for 2 beers and nachos.

Food is delicious and the service is incredible the facets atmosphere is amazing and you're sitting by the water as you eat.

Two stars for the atmosphere, pool and drinks. Zero stars for the food and service. We ordered from the turtle grill at the Wet bar. We waited close to two hours for food. Yes it was the 4th of July , but the crowd was sparse at 9:00 pm and I still hadn't received my food. Kids were starving, fireworks had started and the kitchen was closed. I finally got my food 10 minutes after the fireworks started. I was happy about the taste of my "well done" burger that I ordered. Until I got home and saw the inside! Thank god it was dark while I was eating it or else I would have never touched it . $21 dollar burger, two hour wait, an served raw. No thank you.

The turtle grill is very yummy for it being a quick fry and go place. We love the calamari and chicken tenders it's our go each time. However, they were out of both their mussels and oysters which is understandable but she didn't mention it until after we tried to order them. Overall the price for what you get is honestly not awful.

$14 for two flour tortillas with pork and sauce on it. Not even a side dish included. Service was super slow

My hubby, daughter and I stopped in for lunch today...first time dining inside the restaurant instead of at the outside beach bar area. Very nice! Our Server was very pleasant and attentive...thank you for that! We ordered a variety of different items...Coconut Shrimp and Fried Calamari for appetizers. Both were perfectly fried! We will definitely be ordering those again! For our lunches my husband ordered their Margarita Pizza. My daughter ordered their Veggie Burger and fries...she liked it a lot for her first time trying a veggie burger. I ordered their Nauti Club sandwich with fries. Great food and generous portions! I would have taken pictures but we dug into our meals and forgot. We did miss your sweet potato fries.....please bring those back!

Chef will makes amazing dishes! We've made this our breakfast lunch and dinner spot for most of our stay. The poke ball is a must have!! ABSOLUTELY delicious . The staff are super friendly made this experience that much better

We were there this past Saturday with a party of 13 for my birthday. We had the best service and food. Our waiter was on top of everything. Our drinks came out timely with our dinner right after. Food was excellent Everything was perfect. I had the best birthday with my family

Lovely lunch and great view of Lake Havasu. We weren't staying at the resort, but it definitely had a fun vibe to it. Food was really tasty!

This was our first stop as we rolled into town and were looking for lunch. It was a very picturesque setting whether you chose to eat inside or outside. We had a good view of the lake from the inside booth. Really enjoyed the $8 Pina Colada to start and the pretzel sticks were soft, hot and served with a great cheese dip. The burger was cooked well done and the other main course was a hand stretched pepperoni pizza. The pizza had good cheese and nice chewy crust. Good start to the weekend.

Sadly, this was one of the worst restaurants of my life. The only thing going for this place is the view. The food was bland and absolutely terrible. Everything seemed like Costco food being resold. Poor presentation and poor service. We had three waiter and waited an hour for our food, we should've known when we walked in and it was relatively empty.

The menu is overpriced for poor food! We've been coming here for years and each visit it's just bad. Someone needs to get a chef in here and create a menu that is amazing. This place is a ghost town for Labor Day weekend! So sad

What happened to this place. You used to drive up, get a bucket of margs and nachos, enjoy the setting. For years it's gone downhill. The even took the outdoor area out. Sad!

On A very slow but steady Monday my group came in and had lunch here. We expected too much from the Turtle grille. The employees are walking zombies. I get it though, if I had to serve the food they send out I'll be the same way. The fish and chips are the same but worst than the store bought. The side fruit was soggy and not fresh. The fries were cold and old. Dive bar food is better than this place. 3 stars is very generous. The Pricing is not right here. The food quality was disgraceful. For this type of quality, the establishment should Not charge more than 5$ for any of the food. Don't waste your time and money coming here.

Adjust your hours. Boated 30 min for breakfast and theyre not open till noon we find out from the front desk upon arriving

I think some breakfast items are better if basic . The hangover is a biscuit and gravy but very cheesy and way too big of proportion. The basic eggs and sides were good . The yogurt and fruit bowl with granola was quite a bit to eat . Prices a little high for breakfast . Attitudes and small talk of waitresses need to be more positive

Use to be my favorite place in Havasu. Ate here 3 years ago. Had friends drop by and took them to the turtle. Tiki bar looked a little run down. My drink was awesome. But fish and chips were sent back to be cooked longer. They came out awful. Very disappointed.

We had an early dinner here on a Friday afternoon and the service was great and so was the food. The shrimp and calamari po' boy is well seasoned and crispy. I like the pineapple coleslaw that is inside it as well. My husband really enjoyed his fish n chips, and the melon salad was really fresh, I would order that again for sure. The staff were friendly and the view was beautiful. Prices were higher than some restaurants around town, but not too high for the convenience of catching a meal at the resort and enjoying the view.
