Waterfront Dining in Key West: 10 Great Spots | Eater Miami
"Turtle Kraals is all about keeping the island’s seafaring traditions alive. Located in the Historic Seaport District at the Key West Bight Marina, it’s the perfect place to admire the still-working waterfront that was once at the center of the sponging industry. As if the view of the bobbing boats and setting sun wasn’t enough, the restaurant also hosts turtle races three times a week." - Olee Fowler
Good views and it was fun having the roosters walking through the restaurant, but the food is not that great and overpriced. I don’t feel any need to come and eat here again. The conch chowder I found pretty bland and tasteless with not a lot of conk in it. The views were good, but someone was getting fish nearby and you could definitely smell it.

Food and service was good. We were there for happy hour. Six of us ordered from their happy hour menu. The drinks at happy hour were reasonable at 50% off but normal prices were a little pricy. Would recommend and return. Had to change review. After dinner one of our party went to the restroom and our waiter was in the restroom and left without washing his hands. WASH YOUR HANDS JUAN!

Loved the layout of the place, stay was very friendly and entertaining. Good beer, food menu, nice prices on oysters. Everything was great. Surprised we haven't been here before. Great wine on tap too, also merchandise available.

We love this place mostly because it's right in the Historic Seaport where we work. You can eat out side or inside and the food is colorful and every meal is a bonanza of color and choices. Ours is the local seafood flavors. When friends come to town we recommend this as a must stop! I met my wife Ronda on a blind date so this place is dear to us. We celebrate all kinds of special good times here!

The Grouper dish was delicious and a very large portion. The Conch Fritters were delicious, as was the Shrimp. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant. If you have an opportunity try to sit upstairs as they offer some great views of the harbor. I did not give them 5 stars as the Crab Cakes were very average with too much filler. The appetizers arrived fast but so did the main course. Almost at the same time. The wine was overly warm as if the bottlw was sitting on the shelves in the 90 degree weather.

We had a very simple and private wedding reception at turtle kraals and they did a phenomenal job. The staff and service was outstanding. And key west vibe and view could not be any more perfect. They truly made our day absolutely perfect, so thankful for everything!

Last stop for lunch before we left key west. Food was excellent, we sat at the roof tip bar. You can't go wrong with the daily specials. Hot wings are smoked then grilled. Pretty sweet views

The atmosphere, food and service were great! We had a large group and our server was excellent! The waterfront views, casual atmosphere and great drinks made our dinner so special. The food was a little salty but still good.
It is also a fun place for kids as they have a bacci ball court that they can play in while adults enjoy their drinks and wait for their food. We heard that they also have regular turtle races but we didn't see them.
We had mojitos and a turtle daiquiri. They were very strong - which some might like and others not so much.
