The show is incredible and lots of fun to sit in in the nicely air conditioned room. Crush was on a large screen and was in his under water element and talked with the kids with an under water microphone and a helper up front to take the microphone to the kids to ask Crush their questions. It was so wonderful to see the kids having so much fun.

Super especial! My kids love . Is perfect for relaxing.

This is so funny! The animation is so real and it's so much fun to ask crush questions! I love it!!

I was in line with my pregnant wife and two children. I’ve been a pass holder for over 10 years and always feel disregarded by employees who seem to hate their jobs. I pay way too much money every visit not to mention the parking that goes up every six months. Don’t mean to sound cheap but I feel I get my money’s worth at Knotts berry farm.

TAKE YOUR KIDS TO THIS SHOW! It is a good time to sit down in a theater chair while your kids are entertained by Crush the talking turtle. The show is interactive with the children and gets the whole crowd to laughing. Other than this show there is also “FROZEN” which provides more of a movie sing-a-long. This show is definitely one of my favorites!

Google
This is one of the best experiences in California Adventure! It's great for families with kids, and the most interesting part about it is that it's so interactive and brings every person in so incredibly well. You will definitely want to check it out when you are visiting the park! The kids will love it, and so will the kids at heart!

Google
Amazing experience! It is so fun that Crush interacts with the audience. Kids and adults alike would enjoy! Shows rotate in and out quickly, so you won't have to wait long, no matter when you get there.

Google
This is a can't miss (but often forgotten) attraction for kids and parents. While the kids get to have fun talking with Crush, his humor is sure to please everyone sitting in the audience. So take 30 minutes, enjoy the AC, and have a friendly talk with Crush!

Yelp
Turtle Talk with Crush was popping at one point when it was new, but now it feels like it's died down in popularity. I think it's so fun. It's always a different show depending on the audience. L O C A T I O N In Disney's California Adventures in the Animation Studio building where you can also draw a character! I know a lot of folks go in here to cool down and it's nice and dark which can also help if you want to take a little nap. L I N E This experience is not impacted any more. So as long as you time it for show time, you can easily walk in and not have to wait. They have the times posted outside of the area to let you know. E X P E R I E N C E Kiddos get to sit on the stage floor near the screen and adults can sit on theater seats. There are a lot of seats. If you easily get cold, you may want to grab a jacket as the AC is on in this building. Now if it's super hot outside, this might be the best place to relax and enjoy a show with Crush. There's a human who helps Crush talk with the audience. We learn a few phrases to yell out whenever Crush says something in particular. It's a very interactive show. Kids can ask Crush questions as well as adults of course kiddos get priority. Crush is awesome and hilarious and insightful. I always have a good laugh when I'm in there. O V E R A L L A great time to just relax and sit while the kids get to talk to Crush. Or take a nap as what my hubby ended up doing as it was too dark and the screen too bright. HA! Still a fun time, definitely not as popular but try to go at least once with perhaps knowing there's a group of kids about to go in.

Yelp
Turtle Talk with Crush is such a fun surprise and a great break from walking around the park. The animation is smooth and the way Crush interacts live with the audience is really impressive. It feels personal and kids especially love getting called on and talking with him The show is short and sweet and the room is cool and relaxing which makes it a perfect stop during a hot afternoon. The jokes are lighthearted and the timing is always on point Only reason it is not five stars is because it is very short and not always worth waiting too long if the line is full. It also depends on how engaged the audience is but overall it is definitely worth checking out at least once especially for families or anyone who loves Finding Nemo

Yelp
A great option to take a break from the heat and the crazy and sometimes ruthless crowds. It's interactive and entertaining - especially for the little ones. The air conditioning is on full blast which helps bodies acclimate while enjoying the show. Worth a visit when you need to escape that madness of the park.

Yelp
Good place for kids and families. If you're not into interaction with a talking turtle through a giant tv screen, you will be a little bored lol.

Yelp
Turtle Talk with Crush is one of my favorite shows to watch at Disneyland California Adventure and Disney World Epcot! This attraction is located in Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure Park. Typical showtimes for Turtle Talk with Crush is every half hour. You can check the Disneyland Mobile Application for times. The show is located inside the animation Academy with the Sorcerer's Workshop, Anna & Elsa's Royal Welcome! There is seating available outside the aquatorium that you can sit at while you wait for the doors to open for the show! Inside the showroom, you can sit at the seats or sit on the ground in front of the large window! You'll see turtle crush! He'll ask you a variety of questions during the show at the audience! The audience is in the fish tank! It feels like a comedy show! Totally Tubular and awesome! It's so funny and every show is unique! This is a must-see if you're visiting DCA, and it's also a great break from the rides, inside an air-conditioned building!

Yelp
"Totally awesome!" -Crush This was a lot of fun. Very cute. You interact with a turtle named Crush. It's a theater like setting and the kids sit on the floor in the front. This is mostly for kids I'd say. But adults can have fun with it too. I like that it's air conditioned and inside. That part is nice. It's a nice break from walking the park. And Crush is so cute and totally rad. *gives hang loose sign*

Yelp
I felt left down by this attraction. I was expecting more after seeing all the videos of what looked like would be a totally energetic show. However, what I encountered was way less than enjoyable. You wait much longer than you should have to when you want to experience it. Yes, I'm aware that is the case of any attraction in Disney, but this one was not the best. Then you are rushed into the small auditorium and expected to take a seat faster than you can comprehend what is going on. If you, as an adult, wanted to experience what it is like to be in daycare, here's your chance. Toddlers everywhere without an ounce of control coming from their parents. Like they are let loose and the parents do not even care that they are running around the room, screaming, or following the simplest of directions so that the attraction can start/continue. The above I fully believe contributed to the next part. The length of the attraction. It felt like we just sat down and we were being ushered out the door. When Crush started his interaction with the audience, it was chaos. Crush would attempt to talk with one member and those uncontrolled toddlers would yell/scream out answers that weren't needed by them. What a total let down. I feel like they should have times set aside for an adult version of this. Or one that at least you are guaranteed time to interact with Crush and not be ushered out the door shortly after sitting down. Glad I got to experience this, but disappointed by the experience.

Yelp
As seen on TikTok, Turtle Talk with Crush is quite comicial! You can find this located within Disney California Adventure in the Hollywood area. There are showings regularly each hour, so it's easy to walk in and catch a show. Totally tubular dude and dudettes!
google avatar

Yelp
I'm not sure why I thought it was just gonna be a movie. There's a guy who does the intro and then a turtle comes out and starts talking to the audience. I mean this is a huge deal. This guy isn't just any regular employee. Turtle comes out and starts talking with the audience. The audience is in the fish tank and they are talking to us. It's supposed to be ask any questions to the turtle he'll answer you. The guy is like a comedian of course in true Disney form . This turtle character was kind of like a Surfer dude. Totally Tubular . It was so much fun and such a great way to get out of the peak Heat. I strongly suggest when it's just too hot outside to come and get some turtle information. This was hilarious. 100% five stars.

Yelp
Love turtle talk! The theatre is very clean. There are so many different times for shows so there is always one that fits your schedule. Have seen it a few times and it's always a different show. Both kids and adults can enjoy. Crush is always so quick on his feet. Very cute show. Would recommend to anyone.

Yelp
Located in the Animation Academy in Disney California Adventure. You enter into a room with theater style seating and in front of the screen is a platform type area for little kids to sit at. It's really fun and cool the turtle names crush interacts with the kids and audience. He will ask and answer questions it was fun and entertaining. This was my very first time experiencing this I can't believe I never did this before. Overall I recommend doing this show at least once.

Yelp
I love Turtle Talk with Crush! When this first opened, I think I made it a point to stop by here every time I visited the park which was often since I worked across the way at Disneyland. To this day I still don't know how they do it and every show is different since this is an audience participation show. Definitely bring your kids here but adults will get a laugh out of it also. It's also another one of those sit down and relax attractions that are dimly lit and air conditioned. You're basically talking to a sea turtle or thee sea turtle, Crush, from the film Finding Nemo. If you've never been to California Adventure before I would add this to the list of things to see/try because it just so totally rocks!

Yelp
This was the best! Adults and kids alike all laughing and having a good time! Highly recommend during the hottest part of the day. We enjoyed the AC and the conversation with Crush!

Yelp
How cute! What a great place for children and adults to be entertained by Crush! He's quite a character! His style of speech is like a surfer dude. Dude! I enjoyed this performance! It is located in the Animation Building in Disney California Adventure Park. I decided to check it out and I'm glad I did! The children can sit on the floor right in front of the screen where Crush will appear, or with their adult(s) in the comfy seats. The show starts out with the do's and don'ts using a school of fish. The funny one that I loved was the fish in the formation of a camera & a flash going off... no flash photography! There is a human helper who takes the microphone to the audience. Crush has a hydrophone which helps him to be heard from within the tank. This is a relatively short show. Maybe 20 minutes or so? It's perfect for the younger children because they get antsy! Lots of little hands go up when he asks if anyone has any questions. I was so thankful I wasn't called on by Crush to interact with! He tries to engage the children, but he also likes to involve adults. He is very entertaining, even with flatulence that appears behind him as bubbles and he won't own up to the fact that it was him! He pulled out a Buzz Lightyear and asked a child about it. I will have to go again to see what his other antics are! Come and check it out... with or without children! It is also a nice place to cool off or to rest your feet for a few minutes!

Yelp
- Crush: "Totally awesome!" - Audience: "Dude!" - Me under my breath: "Sweet!" (and then getting a well deserved elbow in the side from my lady) We'd never checked out Turtle Talk with Crush during our visits to Disney California Adventure, but seeing how Finding Dory is going to drop next week (and characters from the movie would be making appearances during the show), we figured we'd check it out. Located inside the Animation Academy, we waited for about 20 minutes before being ushered into the small theater where the show began. As my fellow Yelpers have noted, Crush the turtle interacts primarily with the kiddos seated on the floor (and the occasional adult in the audience), answering their questions. For this session, the characters from Finding Dory popped up from time to time, and the transitions were seamless. I was surprised that whoever's doing the character voice in real time came up with some great answers - for example, when someone asked if he'd ever seen a mermaid, he said he hadn't, but one time his friend Sebastian took him to a hidden cave to meet one. She wasn't home, but according to Crush, it was full of stuff... "She's got gadgets and gizmos aplenty She's got whozits and whatzits galore You want thingamabobs? She's got twenty! But who cares? No big deal... she wants more!" (At this point, I apologize if "Part of Your World" is now stuck in your head.) And, at the end of every question, Crush would go, "Totally awesome!" and the crowd would go, "Dude!" Too bad there weren't too many questions asked by the kiddies - otherwise, I would've asked if Crush had ever been to the East Coast, near a city called Manhattan... and if he ever met four pizza loving turtles. Something to bring the kids to at DCA, if only to relax for a bit.

Yelp
I've passed this up as long as it's been playing. I wanted to take Yeti Moose Lamb here because he loves, LOVES turtles. But mostly the Teenage Mutant Ninja kind. But any turtle gets his attention, just not for long. Since this was a show, I didn't want to take him into a theatre and disrupt the attraction for others. But he'd been having a really great day so far and dad and I thought, "why not?". We can always leave if we need to. We let the attendant know who we were and that we might need to leave early. That YML makes noises and Crush may want to be given a heads-up. No problem. The feature was quite entertaining and magical! So life like, yet so cartoony! A great interaction attraction that will keep the kiddos thinking that Crush, Dory and the gang are really real! Respect that sea life!

Yelp
I am still not sure if I'm fond of the new upgrades they did to this attraction since they added the characters from Finding Dory. I feel like the flow doesn't work too well anymore, but that's probably just me missing the old version. Anyways, this is a fun interactive experience for all ages that provides you an opportunity to talk with Crush the Turtle as he learns more about us humans dudes and as we learn about him and his family. Kids are able to sit in the carpeted area as the adults sit in the seats behind them. Crush provides an opportunity for him to get some of Squirt and his questions answered. Then he leaves it open to the kids and adults to ask him questions, like how old are you, can you name your children, do you know the muffin man, etc. Depending on who is there, the attraction will range from hilarious to downright cringe worthy. We seriously had a kid that old Crush he was eaten by a shark and it was so awkward for the couple of minutes that Crush tried to bring the kid back to focus on giving him an actual question. On the bright side, you learn how to talk like a turtle, become frightened for dear life when he actually picks you, and receive words of wisdom from a talking turtle. What more could you ask for?!

Yelp
Get away from the crowds and step into Turtle Talk with Crush! Often times it's hard to find place in DCA that's not crowded or at least has some type of shade. Located in Hollywoodland, go into the Animation Academy. On the right hand side there will the entrance to the waiting area of Turtle Talk with Crush. The walls have fun sea creature facts while you're waiting on the couches. You may also wait on the floor future down the hallway toward the doors that will open once the show starts. Inside of Turtle Talk with Crush, there are plenty of seats movie theater style. The host will tell some corny jokes that you'll love and guide you through the show. There's space on the floor for both young and young at heart to sit closer. Crush likes talking to kids and adults so never be afraid to ask questions. Honestly if you love comedy you'll love this show. It reminds me of a mix between stand up comedy and Disney.

Yelp
How have I never written a review for this amazing attraction? What a true hidden treasure for both you and your kids and/or friends, and a quick 15-20 minute escape of air conditioning bliss from the SoCal heat on warmer days! This attraction is for all ages, young and old, Crush will talk to everyone and pick on adults too, particularly if you're sitting closer to the aisles, or in the "lily pads" on the floor close to the "human tank". I recommend if you bring kids (all ages again are welcome) but if they're at least 3+ that can formulate questions and answers (not only can you ask Crush a question, but he'll ask the question back too - it's truly a conversation!) with or without a nearby adult's help. Crush brings out the inner kids out of all of us, so swim through with an open mind and get ready to laugh!
google avatar

Yelp
My friend absolutely loves Turtle Talk with Crush, so we end up going every time we go to DCA. It's actually really cool how they set it up. There is an MC who gives an intro and then walks around with a microphone for anybody who talks to Crush. It's so interesting how the person who is the voice of Crush is able to see everyone in the audience and make everything so personable. It's also nice because each show is different since there's a different audience and people can ask different questions. Overall, I recommend checking this out if you need a sitting break in AC and like Finding Nemo! Great for kids and adults :)

Yelp
This is one of those attractions that often seems to be bypassed by guests at DCA. Years went by before I ever ventured into this facility but one day, I became quite curious about what goes on behind these walls. This is an amazing, interactive show that appeals to children under the age of 10! However, you'll find older children as well as adults laughing at Crush's shenanigans! There are plenty of comfortable seats set up like a movie theater. Then there are some lily pad designs on the floor for children to sit on. The seating area is configured in a way to allow ease of movement for both cast members and guests. There is a large television screen displayed prominently in the front of the room. Crush the turtle will swim onto the screen and greet/interact with audience members. He taps on the glass and it makes a loud enough sound in which you really believe that he's banging on it! A mock hydrophone floats around within the "water" on the screen and this will allow Crush to hear audience members easily, along with elevating Crush's voice so that he can be heard. He talks to a select number of children seated directly in front of him. If the conversation seems to fall apart, he focuses on interviewing the parents so no one is safe in here. He also likes to talk to unsuspecting audience members who try and hide in the seats so be prepared for Crush to make fun of your facial expression when he picks on them. His jokes and one liners are always the same so if you come here often enough, you can finish the punch line! He also tends to select an item that he just happened to find floating around on the ocean floor. He'll ask an audience member to explain what it is and how it is used. I have seen bikini tops, a Buzz Lightyear doll, and a foam finger. If you tell him to wave the foam finger around and scream, he'll totally do it. So if you are called upon by Crush, have fun with it because audience responses will determine how awesome the show will be! Also, be forewarned that Crush tends to pass gas and he refers to it as "the bubbles". He typically blames it on audience members so if he remembers your name, he'll probably say it was YOU!

Yelp
Came here last month and discovered this interactive attraction, where you get to talk to Crush! Crush talks to both kids and adults, depending on where you sit. There is a live host there as well, and pretty fun. I think it's better for kids that understand how to answer questions (at least age 3 and above, because then they can interact with Crush when he asks you questions from the screen).
google avatar

Yelp
This is definitely a must see for the fam at Disneyland's California Adventure, located in the Animation building of the Hollywood Studios section. If you have a little one, have him or her sit in the front on the floor (while you lounge on the chair in the cheap seats). It's like a meet and greet, but with a fully CG animated sea turtle, Crush, from Finding Nemo. Kids get to interact with Crush via asking questions, and Crush actually "sees" the kids and exactly refers to them by what they are wearing and colors, and answering their questions with humor and accuracy, a real sight and marvel to behold. The only annoying thing about the experience? Crush talking and almost looking like Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (Keanu Reeves' character) that is soooooooooooooo 1989 and out of style (probably as bad as Sean Penn being forever being known as the pothead stoner Jeff Spicoli in Fast Times at Ridgemont High circa 1982, as in "High Times") . And then you hear Jon Stewart calling Barry Obama "Dude" as if he apprenticed under Crush....
google avatar

Tamara P.

Yelp
Located in Hollywood Land of Disneyland's California Adventure Park is the show, Turtle Talk with Crush, which is an interactive attraction where guests can converse with "Crush" from the Pixar movie, "Finding Nemo". Guests step into a movie-theater style room with a large aquarium-style window seemingly opening up to the undersea open ocean. After the hosts makes all of the introductions and starts the show, Crush makes his way down to the large glass window and with the help of a moderator, is able to converse with selected children and adults sitting in the audience. It's amazing what Disney has done with this show. Crush carries himself and sounds exactly like his character from "Finding Nemo", so both the children and adults get a kick out of watching his facial expressions and hearing his quick witted answers and humor. A cute show to check out and take a break indoors while visiting Disneyland California Adventure Park. The last time that I took my daughter to this show, she had just turned two, so wasn't able to completely follow all of the quick conversations, but now that she's almost four, I think she would enjoy it much better.

Yelp
#46 (2017) Take ya pick on why this is a five star joint at Disneyland. I mean truly what place shouldn't be 5 stars. It's the happiest place on earth! Or so they say! Here lies the gem in DCA and provides an interactive experience with sea animations and characters from your beloved NEMOOOOOO!!! Something the whole family can enjoy. Grab ya kids!! Grab ya wives!!!! And grab ya husbands too because they serving up that good good good to everyone. I mean I'm an old raggedy man and I enjoy the time! Every time that I am in her talking to Crush and his friends! Contrary to what Kat M. said I find great joy in seeing the good show even when myself or anyone in my posse is called upon to interact. Now the last 5 times I have actually been called, but like I said plenty of times I have sat through the show and haven't been called upon! But you are still able to learn some turtle talk and have slight interaction. Now if you do want to have a greater chance of being called on to interact more then go at a time that many people won't be going in. On a Friday night I went right before the park closed. The show at 9:30 and I was in a room of 10 people. Now of course it's nothing compared to the show they had with Aladin but it's not even the same type of show so it stands in a lane of its own. It's hard to give a fair comparison to any show like it because there is nothing like it. You head on in and interact and enjoy your time with Crush. Duuuuuuuuuddeeee!!!!!

Yelp
This is the cutest little attraction (and great way to beat the heat). You get to ask Crush any questions and he asks you questions, too. Totally laughed the entire time. Super cuteness!

Yelp
Every time my son asked to go to Animation Academy, the next thing he'd ask for was Turtle Talk. The first time, he was too scared of the unknown, so he sat in my lap on the chairs. After that first time, he started running to the front to make sure he got a front row seat on the floor! We saw two variations of the conversation, and both are cute. My son loved getting picked to ask a question ("Where do you live?") and was amused when Crush asked him a question in return. Again, this is a great thing to do in the hot summer heat. Take a break from the heat by doing Animation Academy of Turtle Talk with Crush. The "lines" are easier to manage than outside in the rides, and kids love it!
google avatar

Matt F.

Yelp
Yes, you get to talk with a turtle named Crush. Found this one by accident in California Adventure (second half of Disneyland). Didn't know it existed. My son is a fan of Finding Nemo, so this was cute for him. The host was pretty entertaining. 'Crush' comes on the screen and is interactive with the crowd. Parents can sit in the comfortable movie theater like seating and kids could sit with you or in the front in front of the screen and ask questions. Crush is pretty humorous as well and most should find this entertaining. Not long and a nice little break from the business outside. Located in the Animation Academy (around where Elsa/Anna are) and worth a visit.

Yelp
SOOOOOO CUTEEE!! :D We arrived about 10min before the next showing..what good timing :) First time watching the show with some fam. We wanted the kids to get a closer view, so we all decided to sit on the designated floor area. Such a cool interactive show! I'm assuming that there's someone behind stage doing all the talking, but who cares, haha! It totally felt like we were in the aquarium with Crush :) Too cool. & all the kids seemed to enjoy it sooo much. They were so excited while raising their hands to ask Crush a question. Even the parents & older kids got into it too. I would so watch this show again. DUDEEEEEEE!!!!
google avatar

Kat M.

Yelp
I think I am the lowest reviewer of Turtle Talk with Crush. I don't know what I am missing with all these great reviews. I found the show DULL!!! My 3 year old was super bored. We left early. I am guessing the good reviews were from parents whose kids participated in the show and asked Crush questions. I found the show annoying. It has been the only Disney experience that I did not enjoy thus far. You see Crush the Turtle on screen. He makes comments about people in the audience and kids ask him questions. His extreme surfer speak is unappealing to me.
google avatar

Andy B.

Yelp
I am 56 year young and I love this. It is just great fun. The kids interaction with Crush is just priceless! I have the most wonderful memories of my kids talking to Crush. Take off your adult hat and go with your inner child. It will make your day. AC and a good time. Thank you for all the Cast Members seen and unseen who make this place come alive. You guys are the Magic.
google avatar

Angie W.

Yelp
Turtle Talk is so cute for the kiddies!! Have them sit up front on the lily pads so they have a great view with Crush! This is an interactive show with Crush as the host and talking to us from the EAC. He asks the kiddies about life on land and tells us about living in the ocean. Pretty cool. Practice saying "Dude!" before hand! ;P
google avatar

Sheryl H.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I will try to do anything and everything at DCA and we came across this auditorium walking inside some animation studio building. It was a huge building w/ 3 different places to do. Talk with crush, meet and greet with Elsa and Anna and animation. We entered the room with talk with crus because it seemed less busy. It was so worth the show! I was laughing the whole entire time! Learned something new! I would come back here again. This is totally for kids and adults.
google avatar

Jane S.

Yelp
I am upping my official rating to 4 stars. I went back again and not only had an AWESOME group of turtle-talkers, but was with friends who wanted to re-live their childhood, so I was able to act like a 5 year old in the theater, and LOVED it. As an adult or kid you can sit down front on the "lily pads" (green carpet) to give yourself more access to Crush. Go in there with a question in mind, and if you raise your hand, you have a good chance of talking to Crush. He talks to you through his hydrophone (underwater microphone) and each show is different depending on the questions asked. Crush swims and moves in response to whatever is being talked about, a technology that I still find fascinating. If it is your birthday, make sure to ask a question, and Crush may sing the "Happy Hatch Day" song to you. Cha. Don't forget...when Crush says "You guys are so totally cool!" Respond by saying "Duuuuude". Yeah....I am a 5 year old.

Yelp
This attraction is really cool. It is fun to see Crush interact with the kids, and the jokes at the end are the best! The animation is great, and it's really cool how they customize things to fit the conversations going with the audience. My only criticism is that the show seems short, and I feel bad that not all the kids get to ask Crush a question. I don't understand why they cut the show short, but then again, I don't understand much about running shows at Disney either. They know what they are doing, and probably don't need my help. :-)

Yelp
"Dude!" This is "sweet!" If you've ever wanted to talk to Crush (from Finding Nemo), this is the place for you! The show runs every half hour. You enter inside a "human tank," and you have a window to the ocean. The "human tank" consists of many chairs, and if you want (especially children), you can sit on the floor in front of the window to the ocean to be closer to Crush. Crush will come out and ask the audience questions. He'll, also, take questions from the audience! The children usually ask silly questions. One time, a child asked Crush if he's ever had turtle soup!!! It's VERY entertaining, and it's a MUST do - especially if you've never done it!

Yelp
We had the funniest experience here. A little kid asked Crush what his favorite food is... and then the kid said his favorite food. It just so happened the kid liked fish! Crush had a scared look and yelled out for the fish to swim away. He then proceeded to tell the kid that is friend Bruce the Shark had a 12 step program and he should consider attending. The kid said no so Crush informed him that he is in denial. How stinkin' cute is that????!! Our family will definitely be coming back many more times to talk to this "dude".

Yelp
Dudes! One of the coolest interactive shows in California Adventure has to be my man Crush dude. I have no idea how this works, if it is in fact all computer generated or there is a man behind a curtain, who cares. Let me live the fantasy dude. "Why do you say dude all the time?" a child asks Crush and he quickly responds, "It's the way turtles talk, little dudes." I mean it really did feel as if we were sitting on the side of an aquarium and interacting with Crush in real time. Blew my mind. Cha, way cool dudes.

Yelp
Oh Disney California Adventure.. how do I love you. And this attraction rocks! You are the audience as Crush from Finding Nemo is your star --- its a total Q&A session. Your best bet to ask Crush anything is after the kids leave the park -- so like 8pm so totally rocks! DUDE! yes, when ever Crush says "You totally rock!" you must respond with DUDE! because that is how sea turtles rock. Do not question this. You will be reminded every time about this. Crush CAN see you -- he has eyes (cameras really) and he can see into the audience. Do not try to play hide and seek with him as this will only result in "Greg, I can see you" :) don't believe me watch this video :) and always ask Crush what his favourite meal is, and when he asks you what yours is, you can respond with turtle soup. Always awkward :) Luckily, I was not escorted out by security! Not sure everyone can see this, but I hope you can! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=4730460252811&l=2607106551799382587 You so totally Rock!

Yelp
Cute! The graphics is pretty good. Sitting on the lily pads in the front makes me feel like a pre-schooler again. Kids love it. Crush is funny but since I've seen this more than once, his jokes are a bit repetitive. He's not up-to-date or moving forward as Genie at Aladdin. Pretty good for first timers and little kids though. Make sure to have your kids sit on the lily pads in the front and make sure they don't get their fingers stepped on.

Yelp
In the Hollywood District of Disney's California Adventure Park This attraction is most definitely for children, however I can tell you as an adult... I know I know ("that's debatable) that I absolutely love this attraction. I enjoyed Finding Nemo, but still found it to be just ok... and I'm not going to lie... I find the character of Crush to be kind of annoying. While I thoroughly enjoy coming to this attraction with my friends that have children and watching these children I know and love interact with the kooky turtle... I have just as much fun coming inside by myself or with other adult friends just to watch the interactions between the children and the turtle. I don't want to spoil the experience for anyone so I'll just leave it at a lot off children are chosen to kneel before a screen where they can interact live with America's favorite turtle. If you haven't been yet then what are ya waitin for?!

Yelp
Like righteous dude! You so totally rock! Turtle talk with Crush is a must do and it doesn't matter your age. It is fun for kids of all ages. Through this unique window into the Pacific ocean, you can interact with the sea's most awesome sea turtle Crush from Finding Nemo. Crush is super energetic and full of questions for the human dudes so that he can educate his youngest offspring out of 65 named Squirt. In return for your answers, he'll also answer any questions that you may have so get your hand in the air and maybe he'll call on you. If you're wondering what to ask, here are some suggestions. What is your favorite color? What is your favorite Band and or song? What are your kids names? What do you like to eat? How fast can you swim? How old are you? Have fun trying to stump Crush because he's a smart one and he'll even teach you a bit about speaking turtle too. Have fun and thanks for reading.

Yelp
this was so amazing!!! i can't believe i've never checked it out in my past 7 years of being an annual passholder. in a nutshell... audience sits in a small theater (maybe 10 rows)..floor seating in front (i think it's meant for kids but some over enthused adults sit up there and block the views of tiny kids) we arrived 1st in line..yay! unfortunately the mob of folks pushed and ran to get their favorite location...we got a 2nd row seat...unfortunately my little girl couldn't see...fortunately the couple in front of us moved to the floor...so my kids snagged 2 front row seats and we were seated right behind them. Crush (the turtle from Nemo) is on the big screen in his habitat...and an underwater microphone allows him to talk to us...there are microphones placed throughout the theater for him to hear us. it's set up like a talk show...selected audience members ask Crush questions and Crush asks us questions...it is so amazing! it really feels like it is all real! looking forward to returning...now that i know what this is all about... my kids are already preparing questions for Crush

Yelp
Turtle talk is awesome! I love how interactive it is and kids absolutely love it. Crush actually talks to people in the audience. It's adorable. The graphics are amazing and you feel like you're sitting there actually talking to a turtle. My friend is super shy and doesn't like going in here she's afraid Crush will talk to her.

Yelp
Having seen this version of this performance as an adult-viewer for the first time, I was like completely blown-away. From seeing an example on TV, I decided to see this first hand. I was completely blown away that a computer and a voice behind the scenes could identify and recognize voices that clearly without much of a problem. And the fact that it's main character is based on a famous Disney Movie that what seems to be almost all kids recognize quickly, just blows me away! I wished I was kid again, and could have sat there and "played into" the role, though adults have to take a back-seat approach and just have to listen to the kids who interact with Crush.

Yelp
You don't have to be a fan of "Finding Nemo" to have your mind blown by Turtle Talk with Crush. Seriously, dude, it's like, totally awesome. You'll be like, "How's he doing that, dude? I'm like, so confused... but like, in a good way." A MUST for children of all ages and adults too. Don't be afraid to participate. The interactive aspect of this is what makes it so cool. Cha.... Tip: While you're waiting for the next Turtle Talk show to start, wander around the lobby till you find the "Toy Story" Zoetrope. Another thing that will blow your mind. I've stared at the zoetrope for as long as ten or fifteen minutes. So awesome!

Yelp
Adorably cute !!! Turtle talk with Crush is located in the Hollywood area in California Adventure. Another sit down attraction however, the unique part of this attraction is they incorporate the audience. The main focus is Crush the Papa of the turtle clan. I have been to this attraction more then once and the character has yet to let me down from cracking up. There is bit of a wait, before the next show but when are you not waiting in line at Dland. However, when going in you get a chance to relax in air conditioning while having a laugh or two.

Yelp
Usually this is my one of my favorite attractions of a Disney day but today our Turtle Talk was hosted by a cast member named Kyle. He yelled at the kids, put his minimum wage/financial struggles on blast, and joked about everything being a lawsuit. He should have read the room after his first hurtful joke when a couple of parents audibly asked "what?". Disney workers do sprinkle a little real world sarcasm into their bits throughout the day but this was over the line. I wanted to duck out of there before Crush was even introduced. Keep those jokes to the break room, and don't yell at kids and say "whatever" to them especially in front of their parents.

Yelp
Great experience at DCA. For some reason, my kids always get picked to ask questions. They don't know what it's like to not be asked a question. I love the new version with the Dory characters too. Do it! It's worth it.
