After we had sushi we wanted some coffee and something sweet, stoped in tuscan cafe for a sugar free vanilla latte a reg coffee and a blueberry muffin. It was delicious! Definitely hit the spot

I just had the best latte of my entire life at the Tuscan Cafe, and I’m not being dramatic when I say my entire existence has been altered. I walked in a mere mortal and walked out with a higher purpose. The latte? Pure perfection. It was as if angels hand-milked cows from a celestial pasture and whispered blessings into the espresso beans. One sip, and I saw my past mistakes, my future successes, and a clear vision of me naming my firstborn child “Tuscan” in honor of this life-changing experience. The staff? They’re not just baristas—they’re alchemists of flavor and kindness, crafting beverages that touch your soul. The vibe? Rustic, cozy, and the exact place where I imagine Shakespeare would have written sonnets if he were hopped up on caffeine. If you haven’t been here, go immediately. If you have, go again. Tuscan Cafe isn’t just a coffee shop—it’s a spiritual awakening. Five stars isn’t enough; someone invent a sixth star for this place.

Love the London fog beverage and the sandwiches are very good too. Staff are very nice and helpful as well.

I long for the days when this locator had books and gifts but they are much improved from their old location on center street. Very good baked goods and coffee. And it’s an old style coffee shop which suits the nostalgic downtown.

Google
I recently visited Tuscan, and it exceeded all my expectations! The deli sandwiches were absolutely fantastic, packed with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. Their coffee selection is equally impressive. From rich espressos to smooth cold brews, and even unique takes on lattes, they have something for every coffee lover. The atmosphere is what really sets this place apart. Cozy, inviting, and with soft lighting, it's the kind of place where you can easily spend a few hours either catching up with friends or diving into a book. The staff is warm and friendly, which adds to the overall relaxing vibe.

Google
Coffee was pretty good and service was very friendly, $9 for a sandwich with a plastic film that wasn’t edible was just absolutely insane, don’t go for food unless you don’t wanna eat the rest of the day :)

Google
The space is nice. I love when the front windows are open in the summer. The drinks are just okay, but we enjoy experimenting with the coffee flights here and there. The employees are kind and though I can’t eat most of the food/pastries, there’s a great selection.

Google
I'm always hoping the place is going to be more than it is. Like I think I'm in the Northwest but then I see food selection. They need some vegan desserts and be a little less 10 years ago.

Yelp
Came here for a proper lunch with a friend and I've found myself even more enamored with the place. It was a beautiful summer afternoon, right around lunch time on a Friday and it was PACKED. But because they have tons of outdoor space and seating inside it didn't feel overwhelmingly so. My friend and I grabbed a table by their sliding doors so we were able to get the best of both worlds, some fresh air without too much mid-day sun (and not enough sunscreen). For my order I opted for the breakfast BLT which was served at any time (yesss). Bacon, eggs, tomato, lettuce, and aioli on toasted Zingerman's rustic white bread. It was very good. I also got a cold brew coffee and a chocolate peanut butter bar for a lil' sweet treat. It was a little bit of a wait until we got our meals but my friend and I weren't in a hurry so we had a nice time catching up until the food arrived. They had TONS of staff on hand to handle the lunch rush and everyone I encountered was really nice. Whether you in pop in for a pastry or a sandwich, a coffee or iced tea, something from the grab and go cooler on the run or you choose to stay and have a leisurely experience it's allllllll good!

Yelp
Love it here! The inside is very spacious with plenty of seating - great for getting work done or hanging out. I also like the outdoor seating in the summer. The first time I came here, my iced latte was pretty warm so I didn't like it that much, but the second time I came it was chilled and delicious!

Yelp
It was a very warm and humid day and they had the doors wide open. They are wasting energy. They are boosting global warming emissions. They are increasing their operating costs. Anyways, it felt muggy inside. I ordered the pistachio latte. It came in one size for $6.35. While I appreciated this "seasonal" flavor option, it didn't taste like pistachio. It tasted like almond. The place is quite large with a lot of seating options. There are tables and chairs outside. They have refrigerated beverages and snacks for purchase. They also have a menu for sandwiches, etc. There were a lot of people working. Street parking or park in a nearby lot.

Kristen L.

Yelp
This was a cute place to grab a coffee! The cashier was very friendly and we got our drinks quickly. I got a caramel latte and it came in a huge mug. The only downside was the latte wasn't super hot, and the espresso taste was very overpowered by the milk and foam.

Sabrina R.

Yelp
This is my favorite local coffee shop in the Northville/Novi/Farmington Area! Their sandwiches are excellent (I've ordered several different ones including lunch and breakfast sandwich options at this point) and their coffee is always superb! The space is huge but on busy weekends it can be packed. Their bread comes from Zingerman's in Ann Arbor (the best in the state). As a lactose intolerant person, I want to note that they have almond, oat, or soy milk alternatives (not coconut which is a bit disappointing for a full service coffee shop) Only major complaint is the prices are a bit much. They don't list the menu prices so you don't know how much you are spending until it is time to cash out which is a bit unfair. I think they need to redesign their checkout flow as it is very confusing on where the line is, where to pick up your drink and how to get your food if you are new here. They look to be super poplar for their latte flights however a friend and I came specifically to try them and the price was outrageous ($50-$75 depending if you got the truffles with it). We skipped it. From observing others who ordered it, it seems the flight offers full-sized lattes which doesn't make sense for a *flight* which should just be of samples. If I ordered one, I'm not sure I would be able to drink it all myself so do people typically share? I'm not sure. Either way, one drink is just fine for me.

Yelp
Super cute coffee shop/bakery in downtown Northville. Was craving a breakfast sandwich on a Sunday morning so decided to give this place a try! Loved the interior, lots of room for seating and liked the atmosphere. I ordered my food to go, which was ready well before the pick up time! I thought the sandwich was okay - lots of filling and was good. I just found it to be a bit dry, I would love to see some type of aioli or chipotle sauce as an option. It was good, just a little bland.

noah y.

Yelp
Egg paties store bought and you can taste it The food itself just felt low quality and very much like an early school breakfast pretty dissapointing for 30 dollars

Chelsea C.

Yelp
What's better than latte flights and gluten free sandwiches?! (They have regular bread too. but come on). Went here on a weekend morning close to opening time. Just in time before the rush! Inside and outside seating, a fire place, and plenty more seating options. Great menu and coffee. Grab-and-go items in the coolers when you walk in. Take home a bag of coffee or merch! I can't wait to go back!

Michael M.

Yelp
Lovely, downtown Northville location. Easy to walk to, and has a great place to eat out front. Top notch, really. But lets talk about the fact there's no pricing anywhere in the place. The menu, neatly scrawled on a blackboard, contains no prices (and is near impossible to see because spotlights shine so brightly you can't really see the board until you're right up to the counter). When you order, you just kind of hope it's not going to cost an arm and a leg, I guess. Or you're already supposed to know. Second, the place was so loud, we couldn't hear them when we ordered. It was nice to see the receipt immediately to finally get a price, and also see they got our orders correct. However... I ordered a strawberry basil lemonade (which was actually the best part of my visit. It was fabulous!) Yet, I never saw it until later. 25 minutes later, my sandwich was delivered... incorrectly made. Alas. It was a breakfast BLT. I asked for it without mayo, it was delivered liberally slathered with mayo. Which I suppose is fine for some folks, but not what I ordered (or was on my receipt). So I returned it. When it was corrected, the new sandwich was brought to me, placed on the table, then the waitress ran back and I had to flag down someone/ANYONE on the staff to tell me where my lemonade was. I guess they just left it at the front counter... which I suppose was where they "always" do that, but... could have said something before then, maybe? That was an excellent strawberry lemonade. I'd come back JUST for that, really. My friend has the Brown Eye Betty, which he said was great. We both enjoyed the food, and the ambiance too. In the end, it just felt... very chaotic, and I kind of felt like I was in that Seinfeld episode with the Soup Nazi. Not the rudeness, but the expectation that you know ALL the inside tricks on how this fancy, lovely looking building and restaurant work... but they don't bother to tell you.

Yelp
Went there to meet a friend for coffee and dessert because she likes the place. I had seen a review on Nextdoor where a lady tried to order cake and it was dry and she suggested they cover the ends of the cake with saran wrap or something. I mentioned that to the young man who was serving me and he claimed to know nothing about that. So I took a chance and ordered the carrot cake And indeed it was very dry. Really wish I had ordered something else. I had also ordered a coffee with cream. We picked up the two coffee cups with lids and they were full to the absolute top leaving no room at all to add cream. You wonder how this place can succeed with employees and managers who don't listen to customers.

Christal P.

Yelp
Not a fan. Tuscan Cafe has really spotty wifi, at least at the front of the cafe. It's crowded and noisy, and the food is overpriced. The only advantage is that it is in the middle of downtown Northville, convenient for meet-ups and large groups. It is not a good place for study, work, or quiet time. The chairs aren't comfortable either.

Nicole A.

Yelp
Cute cafe nestled in downtown Northville. Fantastic lattes with some Homemade syrups which is unique! Sandwiches are huge and very tasty! Worth the wait on a beautiful day!

Emma T.

Yelp
Lavender latte is probably the best I've ever had! Perfect sweetness level and you could still taste the coffee, which I like. The sandwich was great too! Did work in here for a few hours, it's a great atmosphere! Only complaint is that it's hard to find wall sockets for chargers.

Danielle D.

Yelp
The location is perfect- right in downtown Northville. The shop itself is very cozy, it's a perfect place to do some work! However, they didn't have many outlets around, so make sure to come with your electronics all charged. I ordered this turkey sandwich, i think it's called fly me to the moon. The cashier said it's their most popular sandwich. Paying around $17 for a sandwich is outrageous! They pack it heavily with meat but the price is still something I can't get over. I also ordered the iced pumpkin latte. The pumpkin flavor wasn't strong & i probably wouldn't get it again.

Michael S.

Yelp
the caramel latte is good but nothing special, I ordered a breakfast sandwich and the egg was an entire block, it looked a litttle unappetizing but it still tasted good but again, nothing special. the service was fine and quick although they didn't call us when our drinks were up. i'd recommend to give this place a try and decide for yourself if the prices are worth it. on my humble opinion it is not

GG M.

Yelp
Perfect place for a quick meeting and/or study session. Love the set up and community feel inside, a good amount of options to choose from as far as drinks and quick meals, super friendly service as well. Will definitely be back to try some of the other goodies.

Benny B.

Yelp
Good atmosphere, but thats about it. Coffee / lattes are inconsistent, burnt tasting, and clearly made half a*s. Sandwiches used to be good at their old location and quality has gone extremely down, og sandwiches have changed ingredients, and prices have skyrocketed. Nothing is worth the price here. Service is always really rude, as well.

Paul E.

Yelp
Looking for a hot coffee to sip on while walking in downtown Northville I stopped in and ordered a Cafe Latte from Tuscan Cafe. My order was promptly taken and I had my well made/tasty latte in hand within a couple minutes of my arrival. Nice! Although my initial trip here was quite short I noted that the facility was very large with plenty of seating offering a nice casual vibe. The business has a nice sandwich menu with Zingerman bread products, assorted pastries/deserts and an expanded coffee related menu. Truly looks like a nice place to hang out with friends and family for a light bite to eat and good conversation. Next time here I will be doing exactly that.

Kristin A.

Yelp
Decided to try Tuscan Cafe in downtown Northville. I ordered a decaf hazelnut latte with oatmilk. I took a couple sips but it was awful. The oatmilk must have been spoiled. I took it to the counter and asked for another with 2% milk instead of oatmilk. They charged me for the second latte after seeing that I didn't drink the first one. Ugh! I spent almost $13 for 3 sips of a spoiled latte and a very average vanilla latte. The Zingerman's scone was delicious but the service and coffee definitely need a lot of improvement!

ning z.

Yelp
I love the vibe at this cafe in downtown Northville. Good food including lunch. Highly recommend Mosaic Cake, a must try.

Aditi P.

Yelp
Love love loved this place. Sad I didn't discover this place sooner. I'll start with how all the staff is so nice and I think that makes a coffee shop great. This place has so many snack, sandwich, drink items to devour. There is so much seating for studying and work. I really enjoyed this spot and I can see if becoming a go to.

Chalyn E.

Yelp
Their honey bourbon latte was amazing! Highly recommend. The staff is super friendly and Kristen had great recommendations

Malisa R.

Yelp
Good food, great location. Easy parking with a lot located between Tuscan Cafe. We came here for breakfast and had no problem getting in. We ordered a turmeric latte and a mocha for drinks. For food, we got the avocado toast and the broccoli cheese quiche. Everything was super yummy, but a little on the expensive side. Breakfast for two cost about $35. I would go back since the food and quality is great, but not a weekly stop because of price.

Krista M.

Yelp
Well I am a coffee addict and I saw online that this cafe had a coffee flight and I knew I had to try it. Best decision ever. I will admit it was a little pricey than I had anticipated and the drinks were larger than I thought, but it was so good that it's still 5 stars. It was clean inside with clean bathrooms. Lots of space to eat, with tables inside and outside in both the front and back. I didn't each lunch but I will be back to try the food. The flight was delightful and the lavender latte was my favorite.

Jodie N.

Yelp
It was fine. I didn't realize, until I got there, that the majority of offerings were from Zingermans. I work in Ann Arbor and have come to realize that Zingermans really isn't anything special, so the majority of items I chose were not from there.

George A.

Yelp
Good ambience for coffee meetings . Has a downtown feeling when walking around the block

Danielle M.

Yelp
I came here specifically for the iced latte flight and WOW!! Each latte was unique and tasty in its own way. My personal favorite was the iced caramel cappuccino topped with the Ghirardelli chocolate shavings. I split the flight with 2 other people and it was more than enough! We visited on a Sunday and they were quite busy, but the line went fast. I visited from out of town and now each time I am in Michigan, I HAVE to visit the Tuscan Cafe.

Jennifer W.

Yelp
I stopped at Tuscan Café during an event in the downtown area. The pastries looked delicious, and I had a hard time deciding. I finally settled on the carrot cake. The cake was good but in an average way. When paying over eight dollars for a slice of cake, you expect it to be outstanding. Other than that I would give them a try again. I'll just order something else.

Lydia F.

Yelp
I hope management sees this because they need to make some changes to make things easier on their employees. Tuscan cafe has plentiful seating, a cute patio, and was already looking at a 5 star review on cuteness level. Things went downhill when I saw the mess of a layout behind the counter. The register is on one side of a long open kitchen with the espresso machine right beside the register. This results in 2 employees working right on top of each other, bumping elbows. I thought they would bring the ready drinks to the side where food came out on the other end. Instead, they set it on the counter close to the espresso machine, and I had to squeeze through people in line to get by latte while getting stinky eye from customers. It looks like they have added a lot of new items. Unfortunately, you don't see them until you are right at the register where the new specialties are displayed. Some are so new that they are listed on card board pieces taped to the 3 special boards. Bout time to update your full menu. Their dessert case was full with lots of options but they all looked to be Zingerman with nothing I could see being made in house. I ordered a lemon cloud and a small dirty Chai with oat milk. This was $11.93 pre tip. It kinda makes me a bit salty because they poured their Chai mix out of a Tazo box and got the lemon cloud from zingerman's, but I paid handcrafted prices. I'll be back try out the sandwiches and update after I get the chance to make a dine in order.

Mike G.

Yelp
I've only gone there for coffees. It's always busy and they serve sandwiches and salads and grab and goes.

Mark B.

Yelp
It's a large cafe with tables and seating outside. If the weather cooperates they have a retractable door wall that opens up to the street.

Nicole E.

Yelp
My husband ordered a pumpkin spiced latte, a spinach quiche and a Zingerman's cinnamon roll today. All to go, of course. The quiche has a good amount of spinach and feta, along with diced onions to give it a bit of bite. Think the quiche was made in house, but not for certain. The side of fruit could be better with fresher strawberries, they were not as fresh and were rather mushy. The blueberries and green grapes were good at least. The zingerman's cinnamon roll isn't too bad, the frosting is quite sweet and not as creamy as I prefer, but not bad. My husband thought the pumpkin spiced latte was okay, not as good as he's had at other coffee shops.

Randy S.

Yelp
I've been coming to the Tuscan Cafe for several years! The attention to service and quality at the Tuscan Cafe is unmatched! Will and his staff go above and beyond to ensure you're happy with your visit. I'll continue to patronize the Tuscan Cafe! Thank you will for creating a friendly atmosphere!

Ann W.

Yelp
Downtown Northville has closed down two major streets to allow restaurants to expand their footprint outdoors, supporting these local businesses. In the morning, early birds were already enjoying the sunlight and fresh air with their coffees, while dog walkers, runners, and bikers added to the morning backdrop. Like its neighbors, Tuscan Café had spaced tables at more than appropriate distances to accommodate its guests. My friend chose a great table, underneath a large patio umbrella, and off to the side. We took turns ordering indoors before returning to the table to chat and catch up after weeks indoors. I'm a morning person and am always appreciative of encountering like-minded bright and cheery folks. That was the case here. I was met with happy faces and laughter when I placed my order for The Wilbur breakfast sandwich: egg, bacon, and cheese on toasted Italian bread. I added avocado to mine for an added indulgence. There is also an avocado-egg sandwich, a ham and egg sandwich, and a make-your-own sandwich. The sandwiches were quickly brought to our tables. Now, it could be because this was my first on-premise dining experience since COVID, or the fact that I was having a great conversation with a friend, but the sandwich was fantastic: warm, cheesy, and flavorful. I savored every bite. I was sad to be rushing off after an hour - I had an appointment across town.

Ed M.

Yelp
So I stopped by for a coffee and the latte was great. They use Zingerman's beans and took care in making it. It did take a bit longer than Starbucks for example but it was worth it. It's a nice ambiance and ideal for whipping out a laptop and doing some work. They do sell sandwiches and desserts too. Recommended

Jill H.

Yelp
Nice spot to have a chat, get some work done or just kick back and have a coffee and/or nibble. Cappuccino was lovely. Prices on par with chains and other local cafes. Atmosphere has a mix of cozy as well as casual dining with an outdoor option if you can handle it. If you are connecting to wireless note that Wifi is unsecured so use at your own risk.

Kirsten G.

Yelp
I consistently find myself working from home here because love this cafe so much! Good coffee, good sandwiches, super friendly staff. I especially love that they open up the front windows when it's warm out. One of my favorite places to stop by in Northville!

Danielle W.

Yelp
A friend and I came here to check out the iced latte flight and it did not disappoint! Every one was delicious. I also got a sandwich here and it was amazing!

Nate P.

Yelp
Immensely overpriced, super sweet coffee. Slow service. Staff seemed extremely uninterested.

Ariana S.

Yelp
Love the vibe here, very open space with tons of seating both inside and out. Great coffee, love getting a nice lavender or Cardamom Latte to start off my morning. Nice to see local businesses support each other, the milk they use is from Guernsey. Lots of baked goods here as well. Muffins, cakes, breads, and more! Everything is super tasty, they also offer some lunch/breakfast options some are premade in the fridge and they also have a menu of items they can prepare for you. They have free wifi here as well which is nice if you need to get some work done!

Alek M.

Yelp
Six dollar cappuccino in plastic cup that really looks like a foam and hot water, food so/so again overpriced?!? People working here are nice but really bad products are not good, overpriced by $$$

Jonathan R.

Yelp
Always a great place to grab a coffee and some light food. Chicken salad is awesome!!

Haley W.

Yelp
First time trying this place- First impression was that the ambiance seemed nice/high traffic volume. The sandwich I got (#3) was great, however the matcha latte was probably the worst I've ever had, tasted like dirt. Might of just chosen the wrong drink, can't speak for all the other options.

Patrick G.

Yelp
Good place to enjoy a "cuppa" and watch the foot traffic in Northville's Social District. Their Wilbur breakfast sandwich is very tasty and it's made with Zingerman's sourdough bread! Once ordered, they'll deliver to your items to your table.

Alyssa M.

Yelp
Drove 40 minutes to come here specifically for the iced latte flight and it was so worth the trip. I also got the breakfast BLT sandwich. Both were perfect for a Saturday morning. The flight can be shared between 2-3 people for sure. We got there around 10 AM and right after we ordered is when the breakfast rush came so consider going early if you go on a weekend.

Kaitlyn L.

Yelp
I love this cafe and especially the new location, it's lofty and modern but in no way stuffy. I usually get a latte with one of their house-made syrups (try the cardamom!) and their quiche Lorraine is life changing. Eat it hot, it's oozing with cheese, trust me. I'm not even a quiche person.

Alexa L.

Yelp
A pumpkin spice latte super good not so sugary , went it was super busy but there is seating area, the order was quick

Jeff C.

Yelp
Very cute place in downtown Northville. And it is on the smaller side in regards to available seating if they get busy. In warmer weather they do have a couple of small tables outside. The coffee was really good. Downside is that if you buy a cup, they have a sign by the coffee thermoses that it is ~$1.60 a refill?! I do understand, and support wholeheartedly, small businesses need to make money. That seems a bit steep for refills. We each had a bowl of soup and tried each other's. Both the broccoli cheddar and chili were very good. Only complaint is that they were both only warm at best. They were not served hot at all. The bread basket side was very good also.

Cheyenne B.

Yelp
Very expensive. I got a sandwich (essentially deli meat) cup of soup, and a chai latte for THIRTY DOLLARS! I would just come back for the tea only which was actually the item that stood out.
