"As part of a large mixed-use development in Salem, this Italian-style market will relocate from its current Salem spot and expand to include retail offerings and a space for cooking classes, anchoring the project's food components alongside other vendors." - Dana Hatic

Tuscan Market is a fantastic destination for anyone who loves Italian cuisine. They offer a wonderful selection of authentic Italian foods and drinks, all made in-house. The market also provides cooking tools and even cooking lessons, which add an extra layer of fun to the experience. Plus, they serve the best meatballs I’ve ever had. The ambiance is lively, and the outdoor seating lets you enjoy the view of the complex. Highly recommend for a fun and delicious outing!

I have to say that my wife and I were completely disappointed. Told 30 minutes, but took 50 minutes to get a table. Once sat at the table, another 15 minutes before our server came by. We ordered everything up front. The appetizers came, but yet again... no server to be found. No drinks, no bread... another 10 minutes before she came to check on us with the drinks. OK - enough of the crappy service. Our waitress was terrible. Food. Ceasar salad was boring. Meatballs were good. Steak tips ordered med-rare came out med-well. Potatoes were good. Mixed grill was all over cooked. Broccolirabe was so undercooked it was inedible - way too hard. For $115 which did not include any alcohol - go somewhere else!! Very difficult to find parking. Never got any water for the table either.

Wow - jus' Wow! If you leave this place hungry, you are truly missing something. Where can you go to grab a drink and bite to eat and walk around while shopping! Be sure to grab a drink to go and sit outside in the courtyard. And did you see that pizza!!! Did you say coffee & dessert? Yup - you can get that there too! Looking forward to going back again!

Loud. Service was very slow and the wait staff if you’re out by the patio isn’t very attentive. It took us forever to get our bill and pay. Pizzas were great.

I enjoyed both dishes during my visit. The heirloom tomato bruschetta had lots of flavor and nicely presented. It was a perfect antipasto-style starter to share. For my main, I went with the quinoa bowl, which was a great choice for a high-protein, nutritious lunch. My only (very minor) critique is that the poached egg was cooked through rather than having a runny yolk, but it was still tasty, so no complaints. Beyond the café, the attached food market is a must-stop. From handmade pastas and sauces to local cheeses, butcher cuts, wines, and fresh-baked bread and pastries, it’s pretty hard to leave without picking up something to take home. I opted for the espresso bean tiramisu.

I want to love it here. The atmosphere is nice, modern and allows for people to walk around. The bakery, coffee, gelato and grocery is consistently good. The food has been mixed for me personally, but it’s more up to preference. It’s not the worst. It’s not the best. I do think some of it is overpriced, for example a small container of mike’s hot honey being $20, or 1 3/4 lbs. of steak tips being $40. I can get past all of that and understand that it’s part of the experience which is what you’re paying for. My biggest issue here is the service, each time I come in it’s usually challenging. I’m often left wishing that it was better. I’ve experienced employees at the coffee counter, being dismissive or rude. Once I made sure they confirmed my Coffee order, I wanted to make sure that they heard it over the noise in the establishment this resulted in a staff snapping at me “ ya, I heard you!”. Having employees behind the counter cuss at each other, call each other bro, Standing there not offering to help when there is a line . Myself and many others like me have no problem paying more for particular experience, but the customer service needs to match the cost of the goods. I live local in the Salem area and would definitely come here more, but feeling inconvenienced as a customer makes me want to pass

The food was so so, and the service if you could give it not one star but minus 10. This place would get -10 for service. With an almost empty restaurant. We were seated in the aisle. And behind my seat was a highway of waiters. I have never had such a terrible experience sitting in the aisle. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The food is not worth the attention and the service ruined the mood
