3.5/5 I lived here for a year and overall had an ok experience. The apartment itself was very spacious, newly renovated, and located in a quiet and safe community, which I really appreciated. Maintenance staff were friendly and usually came when called, though I did have to submit 10+ requests during my stay. This was the most I’ve ever had to do at an apartment and was surprising being it was considered a renovated unit. The main downsides were being on the bottom floor—there were frequent spiders and water bugs, solicitors knocking on the door at random times and spotty wifi-I usually only had 1 bar and nothing worked to strengthen the signal. Being a work from home employee was at times challenging because of this. Communication from the office staff was hit or miss during my time there. Towards the end of my stay it got better but I felt like I had to stay on them at times to get answers to things. Overall, it’s a comfortable and quiet place to live. If you want something simple and don’t mind it being an old property this will work for you. Try to get a unit in the new building and avoid bottom units….If you are used to luxury apartments or are seeking one, this is not one so I recommend going elsewhere if you seek that.

Melissa has been absolutely amazing to work with! She’s professional, friendly, and goes above and beyond to make the leasing process smooth and stress-free. She answered all my questions quickly, made everything easy to understand, and was always kind and approachable. You can tell she truly cares about helping people find the right place. I couldn’t have asked for a better leasing agent—highly recommend working with Melissa!

I officially moved in 3 months ago, and I’m totally satisfied with my apartment and all the amenities. Chanel and Missy were both Professional , Friendly and Awesome to work with. The ladies answered all my questions and made sure it was a smooth move-in while I was also ending a lease from another property. I was Super Happy to receive my Peak Insulated Bag with some important essentials. I Love my new place and I have nice neighbors.

Chanel is amazing, and I can’t recommend her enough! She is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and attentive. She always answers questions promptly and provides helpful guidance every step of the way. Beyond her expertise, she is approachable, friendly, and genuinely cares about finding the best solution for residents. If you’re looking for a leasing agent who goes above and beyond, Chanel is the one to work with!

Leasing Consultant Chanel Britton made my experience easy and refreshing from beginning to end. Chanel’s professionalism and great customer service is one that is unmatched in the leasing world, from my experiences. I highly recommend that when you visit Tuscany Gardens apartments, that you ask for Chanel Britton. She is one of a kind.

This is a wonderful place to live! The staff here are friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond when something needs to be fixed. The neighbors are kind and respectful, and there’s a great sense of community. The amenities are excellent—there’s a clean swimming pool, well-maintained tennis courts, and plenty of good food options nearby. I really appreciate how convenient and comfortable everything is. Highly recommend this apartment community!

Today we toured our new place with Chanel, and I can’t say enough about how amazing she is. She wasn’t trying to oversell the property or hit us with a script, she was honest, down to earth, and genuinely wanted us to feel at home. The moment we stepped on the property, we knew. My husband instantly noticed how well-kept the lawn was and after visiting so many communities, that stood out. For such a large property, everything is clean, peaceful, and very well maintained. The amenities are amazing, the people we met were kind, and the community really does feel like home. We even met the property manager while they were prepping for an ice cream event, just another example of the community feel here. The unit we saw today will be ours (sorry 😅), but I believe there are other options available, if you’re looking for a place

We have been living at Tuscany Gardens for almost two months now and have had an overall great experience! Missy gave an excellent tour when we were first apartment shopping and was happy to answer all our questions. Since we've moved in, maintenance has been responsive and kind, and any issues we have had have been resolved quickly. Looking forward to the rest of our time here!

Yelp
I put a review in when I moved in and I felt like they were very pleasant. As of moving out I want to say that I have moved to multiple apartments in my life and this has been the best complex I have lived in my life. They have always been on time with maintenance and when you have any issues they take care of it within a day. The amenities they offer for the price is amazing. If it wasn't for me getting a house I would have never left. First apartment I've lived in that I really can't say I had any issues with as far as service, maintenance or management. Will alway recommend Tuscany gardens to anyone. Well maintained from the outside and in. No pest or problems.

Yelp
I'm personally writing this review because it's truly warranted. I've been living at Tuscany Gardens for three years and I never received  the level of customer service that I'm receiving now. Chanel is truly an amazing woman, extremely professional, a communicator, a problem solver, knows her craft, is polite, she's extremely kind, soft spoken and handles the leasing office very well. Chanel presents herself with such gratitude, humble and with a beautiful smile. Chanel is truly the face of Tuscany Gardens and I would love to see Chanel get promoted. I never felt so happy than now. Chanel thank you so very much for providing me with such A- one service service. Chanel listens to all problems and the most important thing out of this is Chanel has a solution to address all situations. (AMAZING).   Chanel, thank you for all that you do and your customer service skills are elite and trust me it's noticeable and we appreciate you being in the leasing office. A Lot of Tuscany  Gardens  residents love you and appreciate you. Thank you.!!! What a true blessing you are. I want  cooperate to please take the time out to personally recognize Chanel's excellent performance. What an amazing employee that Chanel is. Again, thank you for your professionalism and kindness.  God blessed you.

Yelp
I moved here in September 2022. It's been really great here. We love it. Very quiet neighborhood. Parking is excellent. I love the fact that it's only two apartments per floor. Neighbors are really nice. The atmosphere is very welcoming and I am highly pleased. The leasing agents are all sweet people. Maintenance is like top tier, always there when I need them.

Yelp
On the site , it says that their appliances are updated & When you come to look at the apartment they show you the leasing office as a template. When i moved in i had outdated & rusted appliances. There was a issue among other residents that resulted in my car being vandalized. There are no cameras on the premises & there is an increase or property vandalism going around, specifically to catalytic converters under residents cars - that they are aware of. The walls are incredibly thin. From the day i moved in i could hear the residents above me as well as the residents in the next building , which are attached. I've complained that over 12 times in 3 months outside of updating two of my appliances, i am very dissatisfied with this property! It's gorgeous, but it's not worth the headache.

Yelp
My family of four lived in Tuscany Gardens for three years and had a pleasant experience living in a friendly, remarkably quiet community. Over the years, we enjoyed connecting with other families at the outdoor tennis court. I enjoyed the free fitness facilities for residents, and think of the money I'd saved over the years by not having to drive to my usual gym! The leasing office professionals were always attentive to any questions or concerns I had, and there were never any major maintenance issues. On the occasions when repairs were needed, the maintenance staff were always efficient and courteous as well as cautious during the recent global health crisis. During our stay, the apartment community was provided with a world class and easy to use security system. That meant having even more peace of mind in an already tranquil and secure living environment. Our apartment had plenty of natural light and was quiet and peaceful. I never felt unsafe at any time during our three years here. The community itself is diverse and professional, and as our children grew we found it was easy to meet friends around their age. In my view, Tuscany Gardens exceeds expectations, and my family has plenty of nice memories from our years of living there. By far, it is the best apartment I've seen or lived in anywhere in the west Baltimore county area.

Yelp
They seem very nice at first which is nice. That is how they make it seem like they care. People at leasing office are rude when you ask them for a simple request. The gentleman in the office has a nasty disposition. Oh and they screen calls so if you ever need something don't call from the same number. The price for the apartments are nice. Customer service sucks and my suggestion would be to have a training with the staff. You can't be in customer service and get upset when asked to complete a task.

Erin D.

Yelp
My husband and I lived here for three years up until early this year. Our time here was pretty decent with the exception of a couple appliances malfunctioning among a few minor issues. Upon entering our apartment for the first time after we got our keys, we noticed a couple mice holes in the kitchen. We contacted management and all they told us was to plug it up. Considering this was an issue with the previous tenants, I don't see why this would be something for us to fix. It took us nearly four months to get rid of all of the mice that inhabited the apartment, which I'm assuming the previous tenants didn't care so much about. I will say that the maintenance guys were awesome. They were quick and friendly to talk to. When our AC broke for the 100th time during the summer of 2014, they came out as soon as we sent in a maintenance request and fixed our AC in a prompt manner. There's a huge issue with solicitors knocking on your door at all hours of the day and night -- most of them being fake BGE people asking to see your bill to make sure "we received our rebate." So if you like having to answer your door to sketchy strangers, stay here. The walls were so thin that you could hear everybody doing everything all around you. This didn't really bother us but to those that like quiet environments, stay away. The only time it did bother us was when they leased out the apartment above us to two men who decided that it was okay to have ten other men live there as well, all of whom were very heavy-footed and loved to stomp around 24/7. The main issue I have with Tuscany Gardens is when you try to move out. We painted our baby room green, so obviously we had to repaint it white before we moved out. My husband and a friend spent nearly four hours repainting the room, and yet we got charged over $200 for them to paint an additional two coats of paint. This is RIDICULOUS considering all we were told as far as repainting goes is that we just had to make sure the green wasn't visible. My husband and friend made sure before they left the apartment that no green was showing, and yet Tuscany Garden decided that it was alright to charge us something that we clearly checked on before we turned our keys in. We got charged $35 for them to clean the stovetop. Didn't realize that the slightest stain on the stovetop was a nuisance to them. My biggest gripe is them charging us over $400 for the carpet replacement. We paid a hefty pet deposit/fee to make sure that we wouldn't get charged for this, but apparently we did. What's the point of paying a pet deposit/fee is they're going to double-charge you for it?! They wrote in their security deposit itemization that the carpets were "heavily soiled and matted." Well, DUH, we had a dog and lived here for three years; what carpet won't get some wear and tear? They also charged us $40 for a "carpet removal fee" when it's really just them taking the old carpet out of the apartment into their truck. I feel as if they will try to scrape every cent out of your returned security deposit unjustifiably. We made sure our apartment was as clean as it could possibly be after our three year stay, and I feel as if I've been robbed out of our hard earned money. We will be taking this up with whoever we need to take it up with to get what we should have gotten back as far as our security deposit goes. Make Tuscany Gardens your home if you don't mind hoards of mice and like being robbed. Don't forget that this was also home to the poor woman whose apartment got broken into multiple times back on August 2016. Yelp
Maintenance is horrible. Knocks on my door at 5am waking me up out of my sleep. I have to go to work etc. I have filled out no maintain experience requests. They seem very unprofessional and rude. I would not recommend anyone staying here based on my overall experience with maintenance and the leasing office

Yelp
This place sucks. Multiple cars have been vandalized multiple times, including my own. They will tow your car even if your tag is visible. Walls are paper thin can hear people's conversations right next door, plus many other things you don't want to hear.. The neighborhood is extremely unsafe. Have seen multiple car chases and heard gunshots. When I take my dog for a walk there is garbage everywhere chicken bones, dirty diapers, blunt wrappers etc. Kids consistently play in and out of the stairways that do not live here. When I first saw Tuscany Gardens I was really impressed until I lived here for 8 months and realized it was all a show. Now it makes sense why the rent is so cheap. It is 100% not worth the rent for all of the issues I've encountered here. Save yourself the trouble and stress and look elsewhere.

Yelp
Overall condition of the apartments are very nice given the circumstances of the rough surrounding area. However, in our one year stay at Tuscany Gardens we have seen numerous leasing office changes which made for confusion among the residence. The move out/walk-through process was an absolute awful customer service experience where I went through the direct manager at the time, Jana H, who had been great up until that point but really dropped the ball on answering phone calls as well as giving incorrect information regarding move-out/walk-through procedure. It really is a shame to leave a residence with such a bitter taste in your mouth. Need some consistent faces and organization in the leasing office. WOULD NOT recommend or ever return until things change.

Yelp
If I could rate this with a negative star, I would! I personally believe that Peak Management/Tuscany Gardens operate with deceitful business practices, right along with Mc-N-Mc Transporting & Towing. If you come on to the Tuscany Gardens property and park your car at anytime, you are to have a parking permit; guess pass of course from the resident that you are there to see. And they get away with it because they have the Private Parking Only signs posted all over the property. So it's a minimum of $250 a pop to get it out of the impound lot;, I wonder who actually pockets that money? Not to mention that even if you are the renter living there and your pass falls down out of sight of the tow truck driver, you can still be towed at a minimum of $250. Not too many people that I know have $250 in CASH to pay Mc-N-Mc to get your car out of their lot. Anything after the first 24 hours is $100/day. Be careful everyone for visitations, parties, deliveries because you have the possibility of being towed at any moment with no guest pass in plain site of the tow truck company Mc-N-Mc. You should definitely think twice about renting from them. And don't even get me started on repairs that need to be done once you move in and never addressed or the fact that the A/C in the units are so old, that your electricity bill is well over $200/month. Be wise people, don't rent here.

Yelp
I found Tuscany Gardens and decided here would be the most affordable; I was still a student and working part time. The area seemed fine but I saw my kitchen window and there were metal bars across it and I had an "emergency" button plugged to my outlet that directed a call to the police if I ever needed to press the button. It made me wonder why there were bars across the kitchen window, but the balcony door had a flimsy lock that could be broken in if someone were to kick open the door. The walls and ceilings were so thin and I could hear all of the walking, arguing, crying from upstairs and conversations from next door. The management states the complex are newly renovated, but I experienced multiple ceiling water leaks during my stay. One area would leak and maintenance would fix it and then another area would have a leak. Honestly, I feel they should replace the whole pipeline because it kept causing new leaks to occur. The first couple of times I experienced a ceiling leak, I had water leaking through my fire detector and ceiling lamp. It had happened after management hours and I had to call an after service number to have maintenance come and take a look at it. Maintenance was always nice and responsive to my calls. I had the same leak happen twice more and one week of my stay there, I had a leak go through my fire detector and ceiling lamp, a leak that went through my utility closet and another leak through my clothes closet. Maintenance staff had asked me to take everything out of my utility closet so they could see where the leak was coming from and to dry out the area, so I had moved everything out to my living room. A few days later, I was getting ready for work and I found my clothes soaked in water. I called maintenance again, and they requested I move everything in my clothes closet out of the way because they would need to gut out the ceiling, repair it and paint the walls. I have all of my belongings out in my living room, multiple areas of my carpet wet, my bedroom is dusty from the ceiling repair and it smells of paint throughout the whole place. I ended up staying elsewhere for a week and throughout the time, I had called the leasing office requesting to speak to someone regarding this and I was told the person I needed to talk to was away on vacation. I had to make multiple phone calls until I finally received a call from that person and upon explaining the situation and expressing a want to have my unit changed; I was told all other units would be a more expensive rent than what I am paying now. I told that person I was unable to stay at my place for a week's time because of everything that was occurring and asked if I could have a week's period compromised on my next month's rent and that person simply told me, "upstairs had the same issue and they didn't say anything". Granted, upstairs didn't have three water leaks in the same week and they just recently moved in. The person offered to have my carpets shampooed-- I requested they be replaced because multiple areas were soaked in water for days on out and the place smelled like mildew. Turned off by the situation and the person, I decided this would be my last year at this place. A few months before my lease termination date, I received a letter from the leasing office that if I would to terminate my lease, to send the office a letter via certified mail two months before my lease end date. I did as the letter told; I paid $15 to have a letter sent out by certified mail and didn't think twice about it. Five days after I had sent out the letter, I received a call from the office stating they cannot fulfill my request and my lease has already renewed and if I wish to terminate; pay two month's rent worth in advance. I asked why when I had sent them my letter before their required due date and they stated in the contract it says I need to give the office a 90 day notice in advance. I asked why they would send out a letter with the management's letterhead and their office manager's signature with a date different than what the contract says. They said they didn't know why and that office manager no longer works at the office. It came off as a scam to trick their residents. I called everyday asking why they would mail out a message that differs from their contract and after half a week of doing so, they simply stated they would terminate my lease. The unit I was staying in had a all-in-one washer and dry and it seemed convenient in the beginning, but it would take 6-9 hours for a load to finish its cycle. I know how to do laundry and I wasn't putting massive amounts of items in; I would put in a load of a couple of towels and it would take 6 hours to complete. All in all, I think I would try to avoid any Peak Management property if I were to rent another apartment complex in the future.

Yelp
This place is a joke. My wife and I lived in our apartment for 3 years with two small dogs and baby, now toddler. Maintenance is questionable... If something breaks be prepared to call the leasing office every few days to get it addressed otherwise you get lost in the mix. During our 3 years we dealt with a broken dish washer for over a month, a broken dryer for a week and a broken shower for a week. The first floor apartment we occupied never had consistent water temperatures or water pressure. The only response we received from the leasing office was that the hot water heater was working. These were our frustrations with our "home" for 3 years. Yet we chose to stay. Every spring we had the carpets cleaned. We kept up smaller maintenance on our own, because it was less hassle to do things ourselves than wait for maintenance to show up. When we moved out in July we cleaned everything and repainted the entire apartment - even the walls we didn't paint just to make things easier for maintenance. Today we received a bill for $500+ to replace the carpet because it's "stained, heavily soiled, worn & matted". This seems to be standard procedure for the leasing office when a resident moves out, given some of the other reviews. I'm sure the carpet was matted - we lived there for 3 years with a lot of foot traffic through a small space. You would assume that the pet fee that we paid when we moved in or the extra $60 per month for pet rent for 3 years would go towards new carpet. At this point I'm not sure where the extra $2160 in rent went if it doesn't go towards new carpet. Sounds like we would have been better off not telling them about our pets and saving on rent to give them a lump sum when we move out. Now I see why other resident's hide their pets from the leasing office. It's just not worth the hassle. It's a shame this is how the residents are treated. If you choose to live in this community my suggestion is to stay for the shortest amount of time possible and move on. Because regardless of how well you keep the apartment clean, you're going to get a monster bill for new carpet. Be safe, not sorry - choose a better community that respects their current and past residents.
