Review for Tuscany il Ristorante – Westlake Village I had never been to Tuscany il Ristorante before, but my date has been coming here for years and told me how incredible it was. From the moment we walked in, I could see why. Immediately upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the bar staff—handshakes, hugs, smiles, the whole Italian hospitality experience. Tommaso, the owner, was there, and I received the most amazing hug. He knows my date very well, and you could just feel the deep-rooted connections this place has with its patrons. What really stood out was the personal attention to detail. When we walked in, Tommaso made sure to take my handbag and hang it up, helped me with my coat, and pulled out my chair so I could sit at the bar. It was just amazing—kind of like being a guest in someone’s home. That’s exactly how I felt. We only sat at the bar that night since we already had dinner plans elsewhere, but we knew we’d be back the next evening for a full meal with friends. When we returned for our reservation, it was even more magical. There were six of us, and once again, we were greeted like family. Tommaso and the entire staff exuded warmth, charm, and a genuine love for what they do. The camaraderie between the employees was evident, and it’s clear that Tommaso treats his team with the same respect and kindness he extends to his guests. One of the highlights of the evening was Tommaso’s tableside pasta demonstration—a simple yet exquisite dish made without milk or butter, just pasta, pasta water, cheese, and expertise. The result? Absolute perfection. For my entrée, I had the Chilean miso chili sea bass, and it was outstanding—sweet, flaky, and bursting with flavor. It was the kind of dish that makes you forget what anyone else at the table ordered because you’re so enamored with every bite. There was warm, fresh bread with butter, a beautiful salad, and an incredible selection of wines that only elevated the experience. To top it all off, we ended with a strawberry crème brûlée, which was rich, creamy, and the perfect sweet finale to an unforgettable evening. I left feeling completely blessed—not just by the food, but by the atmosphere, the company, and the heart and soul that Tommaso puts into his restaurant. Tuscany il Ristorante isn’t just a place to eat—it’s an experience, a family, a tradition. I absolutely cannot wait to go back.

I've been craving Italian food ever since I moved from NYC, and this place absolutely hit the spot. It had been way too long! The food was authentic and delicious, and the wine paired perfectly with the meal. I’ll definitely be coming back—this restaurant brought back the flavors I’ve been missing!

I feel like family at Tuscany il Restorante! The food is outstanding! The staff and the owner Tommaso know their customers by name and what they like to drink! It is the neighborhood gathering place where you always feel welcome. One of my personal favorites is the charbroiled chicken with arugula! DELICIOUS!

Google
I gave it 5 across the board which never happens. Our 20 year Anniversary. Found this place on a whim (wife & I both love Italian food). Decided, why not? New experience. Wife & I could not have been happier. Charming and very accommodating wait staff. Wonderful food w/beautiful presentation. Lovely, cozy interior ambiance. Thank you for a great Anniversary, can't wait to return. Best to you all

I don't know how I found this place but I'm very happy I did. We were just passing through and decided to grab dinner, and my expectations were surpassed! I decided to request a reservation via Google search, arrived to a large parking lot in an obviously affluent area. The restaurant was easy to find and the staff was funny and friendly. We were sat and not once did we ever feel like we needed to flag down a staff because they were so attentive, fun, humorous and really created a nice environment. Now, the food, I fully expected boxed pasta however, I was wrong! I ordered a lasagna off their specials menu and my husband ordered pumpkin tortellini and we both received lovely handmade pasta and great portion sizes! We also split a minestrone soup that had fresh ingredients it was a good appetizer. They offered table bread that was addicting! Your water glass will not go empty because again the staff are very attentive. Really glad to have found this restaurant! Oh, and their double chocolate cake was insanely chocolatey! Do it.

I have been coming here with my family for over a year already & it has only gotten better and better. The food is delicious and service outstanding. We feel so special every time we come, everybody knows us already and they’re always so kind and sweet.

The service of the waitstaff was impeccable! Anything we needed was taken care of and they were so friendly and attentive the entire night. The food was delicious and tasted so fresh. The highlight at the end of the night were the cannolis. Divine! Thank you for a wonderful night! We will be back when we come back to town!

The food was so good I took an order home to go after we finished dinner. October 2024 I've tried a few different Italian places in the Westlake and Thousand Oaks areas. I have to say this is one of the better, family friendly ones that really does give you your money's worth. Tonight we had the Grilled Colossal Prawns with fresh herb and roasted garlic sauce. Basically it's pasta, with four big shrimp. Quite delicious, and I feel like it's worth the $45. You do get a very large portion. I also took the Butterfield Jumbo Prawns (3 per order) home to go. You get a side dish of pasta with olive oil and garlic with this item. Again, well worth the $45. The service was great! Our waiter was from Iowa, and even made a joke about it being a four-letter word. LOL. What I do like is that not only is Tomasso's name on the menu itself as being the proprietor, but he also personally went around every single table in the restaurant to check on everyone's order. In terms of the atmosphere, if you want the hustle and bustle Italian hole in the wall spot, eat inside. If you want a more quiet experience, say a date night, enjoy the patio al fresco dining in the open air. Overall, I'm quite pleased with this place, and look forward to visiting again soon to try their other dishes. It really does depend what you order, but I do feel like your money is well spent here. Portion sizes are big, the pastas are not overly sauced, or drowned in sauce, and I feel like you are getting your money's worth. By comparison, you'll find that this place is a little less expensive than other restaurants across the street, literally, also you're getting larger portion sizes, and better tasting food. The risotto here for instance is $28. Across the street at Nona's it's $53. Do the math. I'll be back.

Yelp
I've been eating and thoroughly enjoying each and every meal at Tuscany for over 30 years. The food is 5 star and they make everyone feel like familia. HANDS DOWN, MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT!

Yelp
We were actually sitting in Finney's just a few doors down and it was SO LOUD that we just had to get out.... so made a quick res at Tuscany and he we are. Two of us shared the Caesar. Definitely big enough to share. It's good but certainly not the best...or the worst. Looking at my last review maybe it took a half step backward. I would have liked a bit more dressing for the added flavor. The other two shared the chopped grilled veggie salad. I tried it and thought it was pretty good. Nice light dressing. Now on to the main event! Two of us shared the Pappardelle with Chicken Bolognese and Vermicelli with Strips of Filet Mignon and Pancetta. Both were very good. I've had the Bolognese before so sort of knew what I was getting, but particularly enjoyed the pasta with filet. The sauce was really good and I didn't really even taste the pancetta. Next time I might ask for a thicker, flatter noodle though. The other half of the quartet enjoyed the Chicken Bolognese and Spaghetti in "Cartoccio". They seemed to enjoy it and but next time, my daughter might be better served by removing the paper BEFORE eating! (haha). Nicely, the bread was FREE! We all shared the bread pudding ala mode and chocolate cake for dessert. The bread pudding was excellent. The chocolate cake was good, but it wasn't anything truly spectacular. My vote for next time is go with the bread pudding. The waiter was friendly and attentive. But, perhaps a bit too friendly. He made a lot of cheesy jokes and not in a sort of funny "dad joke" way, but in more of a head scratching "what did he say?" type of way. Maybe we gave him the vibe at first that made him feel too comfortable with us, but it was just a bit too much. If you're reading this, tone it down. They bring a printed check and the credit card reader at the same time and basically shove it in your face and stand there while you complete the transaction. I wanted to review the bill, and decide how much I was going to tip. Those machines have those default amounts (which start with 18%) and you don't know if they include tax on the tip, so it does take some time to review and figure out. Now, I could have said I'm going to look at the check come back in a few minutes, but I didn't. So, I had to quickly whip out my phone and do the math to figure the tip and pay him while he was hovering over my shoulder. Then of course you know he's looking at it as he walks away, and I'm sure mumbling under his breath, while we are still there. I usually don't base ratings too much on the server and service, but I'm going to deduct a star for all of that. Maybe it was this server who decided to give me a printed receipt AND hover over me at the same time, but that's not the way to do it. Will we come back? Absolutely. It's a great place and we sat outside which was really nice... and quiet.

Yelp
Service was slow , normally it's good but it was worth the wait for the Seabass cooked with veggies in parchment , absolutely delicious, kudos to the chef and management . Please try it out , what a taste !

Yelp
The service, the variety of excellent food choices available, the taste and the bottle of Red wine were all spot on for this visit. I truly enjoyed my wild alaskan salmon dish. The seats were also nice as the place was super busy for the midweek early dinner time

Yelp
Tuscany il Ristorante is a fine dining Italian restaurant located in Westlake Village. While I had heard great things about this place throughout the years, I had never actually made it in to try their food. I'm happy the opportunity recently presented itself. The food was high quality and delicious, and the ambiance was certainly elevated. I would recommend dressing up a little for the occasion. Of course, service was impeccable.

Yelp
The vermicelli with filet strips was delicious! Wait staff are all very attentive and my waiter came with jokes along with the food. The bar area can be noisy, but it's much quieter in the back.

Yelp
My husband & I stopped in for lunch today. It was our first time trying out this restaurant. The restaurant is beautifully designed and decorated. They have covered outdoor seating, bar seating and a spacious dining room (several). Perfect place for large parties! The staff were very attentive & nice. The bread is delicious!! We ordered the squash blossoms stuffed with ricotta cheese. A bit disappointing. They were soggy & didn't have much flavor. Maybe the oil wasn't hot enough when they were fried. Our main dishes were eggplant parmigiana and ricotta & spinach tortellini in a pink vodka sauce. The tortellini and the sauce were very good and so was the eggplant parmigiana. We skipped dessert but saw that they have a beautiful selection of decadent desserts. There's plenty of parking. We would come back again and try out some other dishes. Very reasonable prices for the lunch menu. Forgot to take pictures of the main dishes.

Yelp
This meal was honestly spectacular. The soup and salad were great. The veal was on a whole other level. I like making veal at home, this particular veal chop came from a special farm and man could you taste the difference from grocery store veal. It was the most tender veal chop I've ever had. The mushroom sauce on the side was amazing to. You could tell a lot of time and attention went into to just the sauce. I live in NorCal and visit the area for work, I can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Meeting friends for dinner and conversation. Our friends have dined at Tuscany iL many times and recommended it highly. The place was packed on a Saturday night and they honored our reservation (NICE). Our server came by almost immediately to bring the bread basket and complimentary bruschetta. The bread was warm and fresh. The bruschetta was delish. I started the meal by sharing a chopped grilled vegetable salad ($18.50). It was OK but disappointing. For my entree I ordered the mushroom shrimp risotto ($32). Also OK but disappointing. My wife got rigatoni with filet mignon meatballs ($28). That dish was outstanding!!! The most impressive aspect to the restaurant was the personal attention by the manager and the owner, both of whom came by to make sure everything was going well. They made us feel like we were eating in their dining room rather than a busy restaurant. That was in addition to the service which was excellent throughout the meal.

Yelp
Four of us had lunch at Tuscany and it was such a lovely experience. We had a quiet table on the patio and Roberto was our server. He was attentive and had such a cute personality. And as unusual, the food was delicious! We had the salmon which was served over spinach and two steak salads. Delish! Will definitely be back!!

Yelp
While we had very good and attentive service, I was quite disappointed in my main course. It should have been a rare treat to have pheasant. Instead, the bird was served with a cloyingly sweet balsamic reduction. I found it so unpleasant that I thought maybe I was just full from the courses that led up to it, so I had it wrapped to go. I found myself hungry a few minutes ago, so I tried another bite of it here at home. It actually made me so angry that I threw it out.

Yelp
The search is OVER. I have now found my FAVORITE Italian restaurant, and I'm overjoyed to say that it will now wash away any memory of that (recent) awful experience at Osteria La Buca. Ironically, we have dined at Rustico several times (Tuscany's sister restaurant a few miles north), and we enjoyed that quite a bit, but we had never tried Tuscany. My daughter dined here a number of times and loved it, so for my husband's further birthday celebration, we tried Tuscany this time. Everything about this place was perfection. The restaurant, while appearing to be on the smallish side, is deceptively large with a number of different attractively decorated dining rooms, along with a bar and outdoor dining if weather permits. The wait staff (there were THREE assigned to our table at all times) was incredibly attentive, and we not only wanted for nothing, but we didn't have to ask for anything, either. They remained in the background but kept a watchful eye over their table to anticipate whatever our needs were. That hasn't been the case at most restaurants. Not even Rustico is THAT attentive! I was super impressed with this, but it just gets better! The obvious main focus is on Tuscany's food preparation, and I'm happy to report that it was outstanding on every level. We dined on the following items: Tableside Bread in a basket - every piece brushed with butter or olive oil (not sure), but it tastes buttery, yet it's not greasy at all. Some pieces even had tomato chunks on it. The bread is warm and delicious, and they'll bring more when they see the empty basket ! Florentine "Gnudi" with burnt butter and crispy sage - Ricotta and spinach dumplings served over tomato sauce and topped with Parmigiano-sage gratin. We got the appetizer size... just enough for us to have two each. Outstanding... with so many flavors dancing on my tongue. When I talk about food having flavor, THIS is what I'm talking about !! Delicious !! Heirloom Tomato Salad with Creamy Burrata Cheese and Aged Modena Balsamic Vinegar - my daughter had this and raved about it. I did not try it. Chopped Italian Antipasto Salad - finely chopped iceberg and romaine lettuces, tomato, provolone cheese, garbanzo beans, pepperoncini, sweet red onion tossed in a light balsamic vinaigrette. I had this, and while I would have preferred a bit more vinaigrette, it still was enough to flavor the salad, and it was fresh and delicious. Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Balsamic Reduction, caramelized apple, pomegranate, pine nuts, cranberries and toasted seeds - I didn't want to try this. Not my kind of dish, but my husband ordered it. Fresh King Salmon Fillet in Crispy Potato Pancake - Served with seasonal vegetables, lobster, and roasted garlic sauce. My daughter ordered this and thoroughly enjoyed it. I tried this dish, and the salmon was perfectly prepared. Lovely vegetables. Fresh Seafood Casserole "Mare Nostrum" - colossal shrimp, lobster, king crab legs, salmon, mussels, clams, calamari, and scallops - Cioppino style. My husband ordered this and loved it. Wild Caught Hawaiian Ono Fillet Pan-Seared in chardonnay-chervil sauce, scalloped potatoes, spinach, and asparagus. I ordered this, and I had never tried Hawaiian Ono before. While it tasted delicious, I was not a fan of the fish texture. It was strange, but that's the fish and just a personal preference. I definitely loved the spinach and asparagus.... both were beautifully seasoned and texturally perfect. The star of this show was the scalloped potatoes. The BEST I've ever had, and I would have preferred more of them, as the serving size was on the smallish side. Sicilian Cannoli - made with whipped ricotta, orange and lemon zest, cinnamon and honey in a flaky shell. There were two cannoli, and my daughter and I had one each. It was, BY FAR, THE BEST cannoli I have ever eaten, and I'm quite sorry I shared with my daughter, and at that, I let my husband have a bite of mine. The shell was so light and flaky like none I've ever tasted, and the ricotta filling had such a wonderful orange flavor throughout. I'm still dreaming about this because it was a magnificent end to a fabulous meal. (By the way, they have a dessert tray that they bring to each table. One is hard-pressed to refrain from ordering because ALL their desserts look amazing.) Tiramisu - our waiter knew it was my husband's birthday, so he brought him a slice of tiramisu with a candle in it. That was so nice of him. Tiramisu is mostly whipped cream, not my favorite dessert, but this was nicely prepared. It wasn't too heavy. This is definitely the best in a long line of Italian restaurants.... restaurants period, and it's definitely a "special occasion" kind of place. In fact, we already made a reservation for our wedding anniversary next month... and I have a milestone birthday coming up, as well, lol. Let's see what we plan for that. Anyway, try this place. You won't be sorry !! It's THAT good.

Yelp
I can't recommend Tuscany enough! Claudio and his team took such great care of our table!! We ordered several appetizers for our party of five. All delicious! Dinner plates were equally delicious. Most of us opted for the fish specials of halibut, prepared in different flavors. Absolutely wonderful. Service is top-notch; extensive wine menu; full bar and seating if you prefer. Definitely make reservations. We were here mid-week for dinner and this place was packed. Perfect site for a romantic dinner or special event with friends and family! Cin Cin!

Yelp
This was the experience that I was waiting for. I attended a Christmas Dinner here a couple weeks ago and was blessed. Going to share a few things that I experience here at this location. We all know that first impressions are important. As I entered, I was greeted with a hello and welcome with a genuine smile. We where all seated, there was about 10 in our party. Our server came over and introduced himself to us all. (Ryan) One of our guests asked the server what he would recommend and I was amazed the Knowledge this server had. He was able to tell all of us about 10 different dishes, how they where made and including the ingredients. Knowledge is priceless. Great job in developing your servers. Service is the key to your Great Success as a Restaurant owner. The food!!!!!!!!!!!. All the guests where delighted and very happy with there dishes. I ordered the baked Salmon with fresh vegetables. Cooked to perfection. During our dinner a man came over and asked how our dinner was. Not knowing at the time, that this was the owner.Tonmasso. Ciao,a presto. To the back of the house to the front of the house you all did a fantastic job in accommodating your customers. One goal in mind Service!!!! Great Job. Grazie.

Yelp
Perfect every time! Great pasta and fish dishes. Wonderful service. Our go to regularly!

Yelp
The food was great, service superb, the ambiance was welcoming. If we lived in So Cal we would be regulars. They're doing it right.

Yelp
There is certainly a reason why this place has been operating as long as it has. Neighborhood favorite always enjoy going back.

Yelp
Our first time here and it has been an absolutely amazing experience. With reservations late on a Friday night, they sat us in a very romantic spot and had our table ready and waiting. The atmosphere reminds us of our trip to Italy last year and both the food and the service absolutely measure up! We loved the Chianti, the crab cakes, the short rib ravioli, the pumpkin ravioli and the decadent lemon berry tart.

Yelp
I've heard people talk about Tuscany for years, but somehow I'd never been--probably because I hadn't lived in the area for 25 years. Now that I'm back, I finally checked it out, and it totally delivered. The food was incredible. We started with the Brussels sprouts with a balsamic reduction, and they were perfectly crispy with just the right balance of sweet and tangy. I had the mushroom truffle risotto and couldn't stop eating it--rich, creamy, super flavorful. My mom had the veal marsala, and it was just as good. Everything was clearly made with care and came out hot and delicious. I had a cosmo with dinner and it was spot on--not too sweet, not too strong. Just a solid cocktail that didn't feel like an afterthought. The space itself feels old-school--definitely an older crowd, and the decor is a little dated. But once the food hit the table, none of that mattered. It's the kind of place where the staff actually seems happy you're there, and they're more than willing to go off-menu if you're craving something specific. It's got that warm, neighborhood feel where regulars are clearly a thing, but newcomers feel totally welcome. I'm already looking forward to going back--there's so much more I want to try. If you're in the Westlake area and want a great Italian meal without the scene, this spot is 100% worth it.

Terri ..

Yelp
I took my husband here to celebrate Father's Day . The food was amazing and the service wonderful ! The atmosphere is sheek elegant with a bit of whimsy . To start , we shared the filet mignon meatballs with marinara and mozzarella and the fried baby artichokes ... a great combination . Then , we shared their Famous chopped salad with roasted vegetables and Gorgonzola . Then ,my husband had the pheasant with sour Cherry sauce and creamy mushroom risotto. I had the jumbo prawns in a garlic cream sauce with fettuccine. We had gelato for dessert .... Yum , yum ! Our servers , Roberto and Nicole were very attentive and accommodating. Kudos , to Tuscany .

Yelp
Tuscany never fails to disappoint. The service is spectacular. I asked for an iced oat milk cappuccino-- and they said that they didn't usually carry oat milk but would check. The server comes back to let me know that they sent someone to the STORE to go buy oat milk for me! What?? That's next level hospitality right there. We ordered the appetizer portion of the crab cakes - they came with 3 and since we were two people the server asked if we wanted a 4th. We opted not to. The crab cake was spot on- crisp exterior, great crunch and flavor, the dollop of creamy sauce had a kick to it that was just the right foil for the creamy texture of the inside of the crab cake. The slaw it was served with was delicious if just a little underdressed. The seafood with roasted veg was a beautiful plate of food and just the right amount for me. I just wished it was a bit better seasoned. The fish needed just a hint more salt. Each piece of fish was perfectly cooked. The chimichurri type sauce was delicious with each bite of fish. The vegetables were well grilled- still had a bite to it. But not raw. Flawless service, delicious food and great company. It was a perfect meal.

Luxmi V.

Yelp
The restaurant has been in the area for years and has remained consistent in its quality. The owner Tomaso makes you feel at home.

Yelp
Took in an early dinner. Service was excellent. Food was incredible. The corn chowder was unbelievable. Always looking for the almost homemade but this was the real deal. The rigatoni meatballs was top shelf. Beautiful interior. They have a great patio when the weather hits the market!

Yelp
My wife and I come here occasionally, just the two of us. But tonight, we brought our friends. The place was packed. We ordered pizza and calamari to start with. Pizza was fantastic, they do a good job on that. But the calamari was a little rubbery and not crispy. My beet salad was good, so was the Caesar salad. It's hard to mess up that. Food was good in general. We sat outside and it was great.
google avatar

J S.

Yelp
Second time trying this restaurant, unfortunately, my second experience was not as good. We tried multiple things. Most of the food was average or below average, but the service was great. Tried the white Seabass, fish was obviously previous the frozen, and was buried in heavy sauce, the Caesar salad was just a lukewarm lettuce. The pasta was OK, the tiramisu was good, overall underhlemed

Yelp
Been to Tuscany several times. Recently went to celebrate our anniversary. The hostess upon greeting us acknowledged our anniversary as did our server and other wait staff. Food and service were excellent. Now, for the negative. Corkage was $35. I learned from previous experience that their wine prices average 3 times retail. You are better off bringing your own bottle. However, the corkage is on the high side. Cafe Bizou only charges a $2 corkage. Other high end nearby restaurants charge $25 maximum. Tuscany's corkage is very unreasonable.

Yelp
I've been to Tuscany multiple times, especially when we stay at Hyatt Westlake across the street for a staycation. Each time is always a nice time, but tonight especially, it was a great time for a multitude of reasons. Food: For our entrees, our group ordered Pappardelle with Chicken Bolognese and Vegetable Ragout, Pennette Rigate alla "Puttanesca", and Fresh Seafood Casserole "Cioppino Style." Everyone finished their food, and I only had leftovers because I wanted to eat more when I got home. Ambiance: From the moment I entered and throughout our dinner, it just felt cozy and as if we were in Italy. And last but not least, service: Everyone that was there, beginning with the sweet hostess, just made it an incredible experience. Our server, Lane, made this night even more special than other nights I've had here - and that's saying a lot. He was attentive, sweet, funny, and everything was genuine. If there were more people like him in this world, it would be a better place. Thank you Lane!

Christine C.

Yelp
The experience was great loved out server Kevin! Also met the owner who was so sweet and entertaining as well. The dish I got was okay but my friends food was definitely better.

Yelp
Good service- great food ! Sand dabs were prepared perfectly.. Will definitely return..

Yelp
My family and I have been coming to Tuscany for over 10 years now and the food was always top notch and never disappointed. I'm not sure what happened tonight but I was extremely disappointed with the food. I ordered the seared scallops with fettuccini off their special menu and the scallops were COLD in the center. The pasta was room temperature as well. The flavors were mediocre at best. The setting that they had at our table was also dirty (my utensils looked like they weren't cleaned at all) and I had to return my wine I ordered because the glass was filthy! Such a disappointment when I always left full and satisfied in the previous years. I will most likely not be coming back after this experience.

Yelp
First time at this restaurant, the bartender and service was great. Santi and his counterpart were very friendly bartenders and the hostess' were nice as well. Food is good and nice bar environment. Would check out again.

Yelp
Delicious food and speedy service! We decided to return to Tuscany after our last visit 8 years ago for a birthday celebration. Overall, the food was delicious, and everyone had a great time. Located in Westlake Village, this restaurant has a small front but a very spacious sitting area inside. Parking is ample in the strip mall parking area. When we sat down, our waiters came to greet us pretty quickly. We were given the menu and the specials menu. The service was professional, but it didn't feel very personable. For the appetizer, we ordered the fried calamari. For the entrees, I had the shrimp pasta in lobster cream sauce. My husband and in-laws ordered the pasta with filet mignon. Our dinners came very quickly, and they were all delicious. For dessert, we had the molten cheese cake and creme brulle, which were all delightful. The total came to be around $170, which was a very reasonable amount for the quality. One thing we felt missing was the level of service. We had to request a water refill each time, and the service could be more personable. A great place for delicious Italian food!

Yelp
It has been a while since my last review. Everything is still amazing here. One of the physicians that I work for still has her holiday luncheon here every year. The service is always on point. The food is fantastic. Today, I had the Mediterranean Salad with Steak. The steak was perfect, tender and flavorful. The Limoncello cake was to die for. I'm a chocolate girl, but the lemon cake is well worth giving up the chocolate for dessert The service was great. They were so attentive. They kept our drinks filled and checked on us to make sure we were good. Parking is still crazy here. It gets especially crowded around lunch time.

Yelp
We had a rehearsal dinner at this place and I could not have been happier or more impressed with how excellent, friendly and accommodating the service was, not to mention the delicious food and professionalism of the multiple staff who just fussed over every aspect of the evening. They even cheerfully accommodated my wish for both a screen on which to view a slideshow but a microphone for delivering toasts to the bride and groom. Places like this just do not exist anymore. Old world class all the way.

Yelp
A beautiful restaurant with incredible service. I asked for an appetizer of raw veggies (which is entirely not on the menu) and they were incredibly accommodating and even made the presentation beautiful. We were celebrating my nana's birthday and the staff were so kind- she is definitely a regular. My steak was cooked PERFECTLY medium rare (no picture because I was too busy devouring it to remember to snap a pic). 100% recommend! A must go.

Yelp
Food always excellent but is service slipping at Tuscany Ristorante? We've gone there many times past 20+ years, not had any problems until past couple weeks. Tonight 1/18 our take out food order turned out wrong, didn't realize that until we were already home. Called right away and whoever I spoke with understood whoever put our order in made a mistake. How hard is it to put the correct food order in? He said the mistake wasn't intentional, but also didn't offer an apology or offer to train whoever placed our order to be more careful. Mistakes happen. But this is the second problem we've had there in past few weeks after decades of excellent food and service. On Christmas Eve our Tuscany waiter took our order at our table, brought our food but then nearly ignored us rest of our time there. We told him at the outset we had a Tuscany Gift certificate to use for our meal but after the bill arrived, he didn't return. instead he was chatting with other diners he apparently knew so after waiting 15-20 minutes to give him our gift certificate we instead left cash for our bill and departed. As we passed him on our way out he kept chatting with his friends, did not say goodbye or thank us for coming. These instances are atypical for Tuscany given our 20+ years of patronizing this restaurant. Food always great but now that we've had two problems in one month makes me wonder if Tuscany's hospitality and service standards are slipping. Hope not.

Yelp
If you're looking for an over priced restaurant that looks like nothing from the outside. Inside is decorated really nicely. I was the only one who ordered the Halibut. It didn't have much of a taste but by the time we were leaving I was so nauseous. Did I get food poisoning? Not sure but I spent the rest of the night & into the early morning hours taking Pepto Bismol. Service wasn't that great. I asked for lemons to put on my halibut & never got them. Asked for an iced tea & never got it either. Everyone else liked what they ordered but the prices were over the top & complaints were made about it the next day. The desserts looked amazing & I did want to try the desserts but by the time we got offered desserts, my stomach was too ill feeling. We got there at 6pm & it was well after 9:30pm when we got our bill.

Yelp
Went here last night for a graduation dinner for the first time and it was packed! A number of large parties and Friday night diners. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service. Staff was super friendly and attentive, always asking if we needed anything and refilling glasses right away. Food came out quickly and everything we ordered was delicious (veal, clams, meatballs, squash blossoms, lasagna, ravioli) and hot. We will definitely add this to our regular rotation and looking forward to our next visit!

Yelp
Tuscany is Westlake Village showing off it's good taste and caliber. Diverse menu, Friendly service. Great Italian food but lots of other choices to choose. Sit outside if you can. Plenty of parking in the center. No issues and free . Great drinks , upbeat atmosphere.

Yelp
Went on a Saturday at 5:30 and it was very crowded, with that said we were seated immediately, we definitely had reservations. You would have thought we were the only ones there with the attentive service we received. We were served bread and drink's immediately. Our party ordered the minestrone soup and the beet salad which were great starters. My husband and friends ordered the Lasagna and said it was delicious, I ordered the linguine and clams and it was one of the best dishes I've ever had. We had the chocolate cake and the lemon/berry sorbet for dessert and it was perfection! Like I mentioned it was very crowded, but the service we received was as if we were the only ones there. I highly recommend this fantastic restaurant!

Yelp
Our family and extended family go here for special occasions, and it's always wonderful. We took out of town guests here for dinner, and they loved the food and had the best experience. The food is always fresh and tasty, the serving sizes are perfect, the service is always exceptional. You feel welcomed dining here, and we always look forward to our next dinner at Tuscany.

Yelp
I've eaten many dinners and lunches at Tuscany over the years-love their food and service. Tonight, four of us sat at the table right next to the server's computer for ordering, printing out receipts, grabbing water pitchers. At one point, there were two servers in that very small space and one of them pulled a drawer out into the back of my daughter's head. I told the server about how uncomfortable that setup was for comfortable dining and he said there was nothing they could do about it, but we could move outside. Very disappointing response.

Yelp
I enjoyed the food and ambiance here. The outside seating area is nice especially with the setting sun. They have a large tall covered patio in the front. I don't know about inside. I have been looking for a great Italian place as the husband loves seafood pasta in particular. I always order mainstays or traditional dishes when I try new places. If they can't get the classics right, I'm weary of adventuring to other more creative dishes. I ordered the Bolognese with pappardelle. This is always a slowed cooked meat sauce but surprisingly it was made with chicken instead of beef traditionally used. It has vegetables ragout in it but must be cooked down or blended as I had no vegetable crunch or sighting of vegetables. I enjoyed the complimentary focaccia but my husband likes the garlic knots. The bruschetta is delicious and fresh with a strong herb taste. Husband ordered the jumbo prawns although it was a pricier entree because he can't help himself when a pasta comes with lobster or jumbo shrimp. It's a pasta dish with 4 jumbo shrimp for $40 but listed as an entree. The entrees are pricey and $30+ per dish so I avoided them. He said "interesting" when he ate it which means he doesn't love it. He did enjoy it and finished his meal. He liked it but not loved it and I didn't like the $40 price point for essentially pasta. Service was polite but restrained. Not as friendly as I would like. I think they reserve that for their regulars it seems. Again for the price point, I expect friendly and attentive.

Yelp
I had been here in the past years and years ago. We were invited to a party here of around 30 people middle of the week , the room was fine like being in kinda of a fishbowl. So we had a appetizer of lox and a cream type cheese on like a flat bread. So I had chicken parm and it comes with a little spaghetti and sauce. So they made their chicken parm is round sort of pressed, need I say I was not impressed. The sauce was not that memorable. But my wife had cappellini and she enjoyed it. I remember this place being better, cause I'm not rating the service, which is five stars so I give them a 4.5 stars. Boom
