Sadly, this restaurant is closing at the end of the month. In my opinion this place was the benchmark for all other Italian restaurants in this area. Superb food and peerless service. Our server was Amy and she was one of the best servers I ever had in any restaurant. I'm going to miss this place. I know there are other Stefani restaurants, but this one was on a level line no other. I hope they reopen somewhere soon.

This is one of my all-time favorite places. Their service is excellent. They make you feel like royalty. The food is always amazing from the baked garlic, Parmesan, olive oil bread dip to the sweetest of deserts. I never pass up a chance to visit when I am anywhere nearby. The live jazz is just the perfect icing on the cake to complete the amazing experience.

Fatum Enterprises

Google
Couple reviews faulted the restaurant for portion size and it "not being what it used to." Overall I was very happy with our meal. My portion was very good for $17. The bread with olive oil and roasted garlic that was brought to the table was excellent. 2 entrees, a martini, and a craft beer was $54 which is very reasonable if you ask me. I would highly recommend Tuscany to a friend.

No pictures from this one. We had a company party here. They have a party room off to the side of the restaurant with about 10 tables of six. It was a bit cramped with little room between the tables so not much space to socialize. The room has its own entrance so I didn't see the rest of the location but expect it was larger in the main area. We had a limited menu which still had a wide variety. The food was excellent. They served a variety of appetizers, a choice of four entrees, salad or soup, and a variety of desserts. The appetizers were good. The soup was about average for what I expect from Minestrone. However, the Salmon on Grilled Vegetables was really outstanding. I'm afraid after all of that and a couple of drinks, I only had room for a cup of coffee but no dessert. Others seemed to enjoy it. My review is tempered by the level of service. Perhaps it was the party room was cramped or off from where the servers generally work, but service was extremely slow. In particular, between ordering and receiving drinks, it took up to 15-minutes to receive them. Since we were all talking and eating, it is difficult to judge the level of service of the food delivery. No one I saw asked for anything in particular when things were served, so it is possible the problem was with the bar and not the servers. There are several Tuscany restaurants in the area. This one is a little further from me than others but I do plan to try one of them as a regular patron as opposed to a party guest. When I go back, I'll be able to better let you know about the service for regular restaurant patrons. But, again, the food did make the experience very good.

This has been one of the best dining experiences I've had in the greater Chicago area. I chose to sit in the bar area which is quiet and cozy but still a little lively. Angela, my server, was the perfect hostess. She is cheerful and friendly and took time to answer my questions. The food was beyond excellent. There were a lot of good vegetarian options. The minestrone is great! And dessert was spectacular. If I could give them six stars, I would.

Google
Food quality was great, service was great. A bit expensive for Italian though. This is a franchise, chain restaurant. I've had better for less at mom and pop Italian restaurants. Decor also doesn't warrant the prices. It's just a name brand that you're paying for in the end.

I ordered the whitefish which was a special and the flavor was bland. My son loves his veal ravioli dish. I think it's just overpriced for what you get. They had a live band which was strange. I'd rather go to a newer establishment in Oak Brook next time with a better menu and ingredients. Perhaps a more innovative chef.

July 2014 Update: I contacted the restaurant about our experience noted below. The manager reached out, apologized and asked my group to come back for another dinner on the house. We did. The food was great (same as it was the first time) and the service this time was excellent - from start to finish. They have made it back into our good graces by being responsive customer focused. June 2014 Initial Review: The Monday special at Tuscany Oak Brook is half price wine, by the glass or bottle, no reserve. We questioned the waitress when we were charged full price for our wine. She told us that wine was only half price in the bar and on the patio. On asking to see the manager, she told us the same thing. When we told her that we hadn't seen anything saying that the special didn't apply in the restaurant, she smugly assured us that it was there, but the type was probably too small for us to read. OUCH! How about that for customer service! We received no accommodation from the manager and ended up paying the bill in full. On our way out, we checked the special list posted in the Ladies Room. Nothing there to say the specials only applied in the bar and patio. We will not be going back. There are too many excellent restaurants around Oak Brook mall to go through that again.

Yelp
I love the outdoor ambiance of this restaurant on a nice summer evening. They have a great vibe going on with thoughtful decor and patio furniture. The inside area also looked nice. We had burrata for an appetizer which had tomatoes and arugula as well, with 4 strips of bread. We also had bruschetta which was strange because it was with Giardiniera. I didn't care for it but if you like Giardiniera then you'll probably like it. For dinner I had the fettuccine Alfredo which is served from their cheese wheel. This was one of the better Alfredo's I've had. The portion size was great! I will definitely come back!

Yelp
Food was delicious. Shared an outstanding wedge salad made with baby romaine. The Fettucine Alfredo is the best I've ever had and the table side presentation made it extra special. Service felt rushed to the point of being inhospitable. Three in our party and two of us should've said no to having our plates cleared when our friend was clearly still eating/ not finished. She was asked more than once by different employees if she wanted her plate cleared. She was not done and the intrusion felt rude. I get you want to turn tables on a Friday night but let people eat. We'd ordered appetizers and salad and entrees. What could've been a really lovely gathering was dampened by the pushy impoliteness. Noise level is high and very vibrant.Table next to us was super loud and loved their profanity. It was both laughable and annoying.

Yelp
A very solid, spacious Italian place just away enough from the Oak Brook mall traffic to be a good fit. About a 15-minute walk from my office nearby; parking was a little strange, with some spots in front and others off to the side (there's a big bank and a hotel nearby too). We tried the burrata appetizer along with the two raviolis on the menu--a short rib and a cheese--and both were just right, with the kinds of al dente texture I can appreciate. None of the dishes were bangers, but all were good and came out relatively quickly. Like a real restaurant in Italy, it took a little bit of doing to get a check when we were done, so they gave us some space while we did our lunch. The manager also swooped in at some point to check in, so it was a mix of "here comes the staff again" and "I need to pay this bill; where is my server?" This would be a very safe choice for a business lunch with a client or a senior executive.

Yelp
If you're looking for a vibrant dining experience, this trendy Italian gem is the place to be! The moment you step in, you're greeted by the irresistible aroma of authentic Italian flavors that promise to whisk you away. We hit the jackpot with the Owner Mr. Steven slicing the steak & Chef Claudio serving us as he prepares fresh pasta right in a parma wheel. Talk about a personalized touch! With 13 people spread across two tables, I got so caught up in the company that I completely forgot to snap pictures of our mouthwatering dishes! Trust me, it's that good! We had steak, creamy fettucini, sea bass, wedge, caprese, calamari, la Margherita. Don't miss out! We enjoyed our evening here!

Yelp
They had valet service for $6 and the parking right in front were reserved for the valet. I parked in the parking lot and it was a short walk to the entrance. Had reservations for a Saturday night. We got seated right away. Loved the paintings of herbs all over. Started with a Gamberi E Polenta, was shrimp with polenta. Loved the flavors and creamy polenta. Main entrée was Fettuccine and was tossed in a cheese wheel. It was really quick, but was fun to watch. The dish had peas and meat, which reminds me of a Carbonara dish. Was cheesy. Had a side of broccolini to get more greens. Ended with their banana rum cake for dessert, it was on their special menu and forgot what it was called. Very delicious and was large enough to share for 2 ppl.

Yelp
I came here last weekend for a friend's birthday dinner, and it was such a cute spot! The restaurant had a great vibe, with a cozy dining area and seating near the bar where we ended up sitting. Our group of seven had a long table that could accommodate up to ten people, which was perfect. By 6:30/7:00 PM, the place was picking up. We started with drinks before ordering our food, but the ordering process and food service took a little longer than expected. We had other plans a couple hours after our reservation and assumed we'd have plenty of time to eat, but it took a little over an hour after being seated for our food to come out. We were left with only about 30 minutes to eat, which wasn't ideal, but we made it work. Most of the table ordered pastas, which they enjoyed. I had the burger with fries, which was delicious and just the right amount of food for me. Overall, it was a cute spot for a slightly dressed-up birthday dinner, and the ambiance made for cute pictures.

Yelp
We celebrated my daughter-in-laws 30th birthday here and it was just perfect. The venue is lovely, the food was great and there were fun libations - especially the bubbly limoncello martini. Our server Luis was the best. He gave us great recommendations - the shrimp polenta appetizer was delish - and he was attentive to all of our needs. A great night was had by all and we especially enjoyed Luis!

Yelp
We went to Angel's Envy manhattan night at Lucca last night. We went with our friends, double date night. The four of us started with cocktails, I had the Luccacello, which is a beautifully presented limoncello martini, my girlfriend had a French martini and the guys had the Angel's Envy Manhattan. The four of us shared two starters, the grilled calamari and the beef carpaccio. The grilled calamari was served on a bed of farro and was perfectly grilled. I wish it had four pieces of calamari instead of three so it was easily split, or at least the server informing us there's three pieces and asking if we'd like to add another for a little upcharge. The carpaccio was disappointing to me, though, because they changed the perfection. I loved the previous way it was served with cannellini beans, arugula and parmesan. The newly vamped one was served with mushrooms, just an odd pairing with the rare beef. Lucca missed the mark on this one for me. For dinner, I had the spaghetti carbonara which is always a hit. My husband had the pork chop, which was full of flavor and delicious, my girlfriend had the pink grouper and her fiancé had the veal dish. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed their entrées. No dessert for us since we were so full, but our waiter brought over complimentary shots of housemade orangecello. We bought a bottle of Angel's Envy bourbon and they personalized it just for my husband. Fun night! You don't need a special event to dine at Lucca, though. It's one of my favorite Italian restaurants and we dine there often. The food is very good and service is spot on.

Yelp
Came here for a group dinner before escape room. Everything was delicious. Service was friendly. The only thing I don't love is that the bathroom is outside of the main restaurant and down a weird hallway. Other than that, food was great. Wanna bring my kids back for the fishbowl drinks

Yelp
So we wanted to eat something that was yummy but we weren't very hungry but needed to eat, you know that feeling ? So anyways I thought pizza would be good. Well, the pizza place we liked was packed so we decided to try Lucca's since it had some good reviews. Well, the pizza dough was good but the soppressata tasted old so I didn't appreciate that. Everything else tasted okay over all. The service Itself wasn't very good because they didn't like that we just ordered a pizza and an appetizer. I understand you work on tips but the tips are based on your service not how much I eat or drink. They didn't have salt and pepper at the table which we had to ask twice for. They didn't offer any peppers or oils with the pizza. The service is fast however so that was good. Overall it was decent but not something I would try again. Also the lights are too damn low.

Yelp
Recently I've become a returning customer! Jay F and the team do a fantastic job at the bar. The daily specials and menu items are all 5 STARS! I've had their soup and appetizers as well. Lively establishment which provides the perfect ambience to wind down from a busy day. I look forward to experiencing all their menu items!

Yelp
Friday pizza night review Came for the pizza would come back for the salad. Atmosphere and service is top notch here. And we will be back to try other things as well. The wedge salad was freaking amazing. They really elevated an old classic! Wine selection is very good here The pizza was good but not amazing. The tart was a nice lighter finish.

Yelp
I'm happy to give a rare 5 stars for my experience here the other night. What tilt me over to 5 vs say 4, well Arturo who waited on me, genuinely nice, customer focus, punctual, and provided the same high level of personable service and attention to me as well as those 4-5 other tables near me! Perfect experience! I had a great specialty cocktail, Smoked Pistachios Old-fashion, and my fabulous and mouth watering Kobe burger with flavorful fries . The a classic and refreshing Italian beer to top of the night. All of that made it a very good experience. If I had to share one constructive feedback is to the lady manager who was at the hostess table and while two youngster hostess were greeting me with a smile as I asked for a table for one without reservation on a Wednesday night, and nodding their heads affirmatively, the more mature and professional manager had to play a little hard ball and slowly agreeing to giving up the small table, while several spots were obviously open. That sort of attitude turns me off. But I decided to dismiss that momentary negative vibe for a much better experience that all others created.

Yelp
Best Italian Restaurant in the country! Yes, I said country! Great food, service and I love that the owners are actively working and engaged with their staff and guests. Free limoncello to wow you every once in a while. Cheese wheels, Meat and cheese served on wine barrel slats, and if you go at the right time of the year Chef /owner Claudio will come table side with fresh Black Truffles! Delicious treat. My wife and I go often for date nights and when we entertain out of town guests/business acquaintances. Love - Love - LOVE this place!

Yelp
Our friends and I had a great time at Lucca the other night. First time there for all of us, and the food / drinks were great. We tried a variety of their cocktails - and love their presentation. Northern Lights to Limoncino Martini to Prickly Pear Margarita. All were good. For food - we had the calamari, Risotta special with shrimp , Veal Chop, Crispy Salmon special, and the Lobster/Shrimp Ravioli. I had the risotta and loved the bit of spice on it - and the risotta was not the usual very "heavy" dish. There were a lot of nicely charred / grilled shrimp and I would get this again. Our server - Daniela - was great and attentive - always asking if we needed anything and truly giving her opinion on dishes. I hate it when servers say "everything is great." She steered us away from one dish and we're grateful for that. I would definitely go again!

Yelp
I love this place the ambience in this place is awesome.. But do you know what makes this place better our awesome waitress Tabitha she was so sweet and attentive she knew exactly how to handle us. She gave us great recommendation's for food. And the Manager Judy she is even better. So sweet and very accommodating. So thank you Judy you and Tabitha are awesome. Ok so the food was delish, the wedge salad was to die for and it was full of of flavor, we also ordered gnocchi with veal it was succulent and very filling. The other dish that was ordered was seafood Zuppa de mare zesty and deliciousness from the ocean mussels calamari clams and crostini and the broth was very flavorful. The fig pizza was underwhelming I feel it needs more sauce it's a bit dry even though it is a fig based pizza .. so I don't know it wasn't that great. But my penne dish with scallops was so tasty and flavor it just has the perfect amount of spice. So just get that dish. Please get a orangecello shot at the end in that cute little frosted shot glasses. So do I recommend this place? yes I do !!!

Yelp
Food is amazing! Authentic Italian cuisine. Everything we ordered was delicious! Highly recommend if u around the Oakbrook area.

Yelp
Limited menu, too bright, no ambiance. Like having a meal in a warehouse! The food wasn't that great for the price.

Yelp
Always an amazing night of fabulous food, libations and service when we go to Lucca. Tonight we had the pleasure of having Shannon take care of us. She was the perfect combination of attention to detail, and yet gave us time to relax and enjoy the wonderful food. Well done Lucca!

Yelp
Great food! The meal that each of us ordered was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the ravioli, the papardelle Bolognese, and the gnocchi. It is also so helpful that they do gluten free pasta available upon request! They also have some really fun mocktails! The coconut sorbet was also so flavorful and delicious! Our waitress was great, but getting seated took quite a bit beyond our reservation time. I know that restaurants are understaffed right now, so I definitely understand, it just was a bit unfortunate. They gave us a very nice table though!

Anne S.

Yelp
Hosted a Baby Sprinkle/Mother's Day Lunch for our family. The private room we had was super charming, the food was absolutely delicious, the cocktails were super fun, and our service was great. Sonia was a pleasure to work with pre event and even came by during to say hi! We had an amazing time and would 100% recommend their event space!

Yelp
Great dining experience! 5 stars across the board. Was here on Saturday, Mother's Day Eve with group of 10 and everything was great. The drinks, food, service and ambiance. Had a 4pm reservation and we were seated when everyone from our group arrived. When we were seated our servers (we had two) immediately started to take our appetizer and drink orders. Since it was a large group we shared a number of apps. The grilled calamari which sat on a bed of risotto rice and was really good, wedge salad and grilled shrimp. The salads here are huge and for sure shareable sizes. I ordered a Ceasar salad with the lobster ravioli aragosta. The lobster ravioli was really good. It comes on a bed sautéed in butter, garlic, cherry tomatoes, with nice size chucks of lobster. I really enjoyed it. Others at the table ordered the lamb chops which was a huge serving, veal chops, the seafood linguine with mussels and shrimp. Everyone enjoyed their food and a lot even took to go bags with them because the servings were large, like the lamb chops. Their drinks were very good as well. I ordered their signature Lucachello martini that is similar to a lemon drop and comes with his own sideshow. When they pour your drink it bubbles up with this huge bubble before popping away smoky. Such a cool cute drink presentation that's video worthy. This place gets packed quick too. When we arrived at 4pm it was pretty empty but by 6pm it was packed to capacity and not taking anymore reservations. They also have valet parking for $6 or you could park around the corner for free. Overall great experience and highly recommend for a date night, girls night or special occasion. They check all boxes.

Yelp
Greetings Foodzies, John Orlando John Cecala you guys came through. Glenda and I went to Lucca Osteria & Bar in Oak Brook at 1415 22nd St. The restaurant is an upscale restaurant with three sections, 2 dining sections and a bar section with seating. We were seated by the bar which was kind of loud, our server Tabatha was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, she even leveled our rocky table. We started with a couple glasses of Fuffino Moscato D'Asti which was so good we ordered a bottle. For an appetizer we had grilled Calamari on a bed of coos coos with grilled lemon. The calamari was grilled perfectly and the coos coos was cooked and flavored well. This was served with complimentary Tuscan bread, oil and parmigiana cheese. We also had the chicken vegetable soup; the vegetables were crunchy and the broth was tasty with a slight pepper finish, unfortunately the chicken was sparse. For our entrees Glenda chose the Mezzo Pollo which is a crispy half chicken with potatoes, roasted peppers in a wine sauce. The chicken was crispy even though it was in the sauce. The seasoning was on point, the chicken was juicy; very good. I got what I came for Fettuccine with a parmigiana cream sauce with speck (thin slices of Italian ham) pees served table side from a parmigiana wheel of cheese. They use rum to ignite the cheese wheel then they add the precooked pasta with the pees and speck. You are supposed to let the alcohol burn off from the rum before you start cooking. Unfortunately that didn't happen so it gave the pasta and offputting taste. Then the server neglected to let it sit in there until the melted Parmigiana coated the fettuccine properly, he also added a little too much liquid from the pan, which made the sauce loose (you can see this in the video) to top it all off the pees were not completely cooked. The manager John Fasso who is a very pleasant and engaging man watched the video to see what I meant and agreed with me. He took my meal off of the bill. we ended our meal with a couple complementary shots of homemade lemon cello, which was fantastic. Our service was phenomenal. The restaurant was very clean the food except for my meal, unfortunately was very tasty and well prepared. I give this restaurant four stars. If you have eaten here or plan to eat here, let me know about your experience. Ciao ciao for now.

Yelp
Love this place. Amazing food. Excellent bar. Wonderful service. Only negative is having to validate your car and they charge you six dollars for it. And then you should tip of course.

Yelp
This has become my favorite restaurant in the west suburbs. Brought a group of friends to Lucca because I have been singing their praises and they didn't disappoint! The food, the service as well as the ambiance were amazing. Cary was our fabulous waiter and Steven the maitre'd couldn't be more welcoming. Cannot wait to go back and sit on their beautiful patio! Yelp
Pasta here was pretty good. All freshly made. I really enjoyed the fettuccine presentation of putting hot pasta and swishing it around in the giant cheese wheel before plating and topping off with even more cheese. The spaghetti neri was good, but doesn't displace my favorite squid ink pasta in Chicago. Pappardelle bolognese was very enjoyable and nicely flavored. My biggest complaint is we got seated what felt like an old back room, dimly lit, and away from the main/trendy dining area. Sort of had me feeling like a second class citizen to be honest. Main dining area has a completely different vibe and feel to it. Parking situation is valet or self park and make the trek to the restaurant yourself. Price point is a bit higher compared to other Italian spots in the area. Definitely put in a reservation ahead and ask to get seated in the main area would be my only reccommendation. 'Til next time, cheers!

Joselyn P.

Yelp
Our server was amazing! Very tentative and welcoming as we were first time guests. I got the fettuccine which was delicious however the 3 added shrimp for $15 was not worth it. Their signature limoncello was a perfect drink
google avatar

Steven B.

Yelp
This restaurant has a beautiful modern ambiance juxtaposed with a Chicago Italian restaurant flair. The food is informed by current dining trends, but does not throw out the tried and true (beautiful jumbo shrimp with calabrian chilies and polenta, vs. the fettuccine alfredo mixed in a cheese wheel tableside with peas and speck), all executed wonderfully. But what really made my heart sing - I looked around on a Friday night and you easily had 100+ covers full, with friends and family all eating and drinking and just being very happy. The kitchen was working hard, the servers all very polite and cordial, and the GM John Fasso whizzing about the room welcoming guests both new (like us) and returning (the next table had a friend of the owner) - and we were all treated like family. This is a gem of a restaurant, an amazing place to treat a business associate, a colleague, a long-time friend, your grandmother - anyone and everyone belongs here. Lots of people dressed nice, but I got no stutter from me in my business hoodie and jeans, so come, eat, relax, and enjoy both tremendous food and extraordinary hospitality

Yelp
Once again, we had a fantastic dinner last night @ Lucca O.! The Calamari was hot and delicious & my Gnocchi was as well. The service was stellar and the outside seating was perfect. The hired singer added to the dining experience and we can't wait to go back again ! L. Feldman Vernon Hills,IL

Yelp
We had one of the best dinners in the perfect amount of time lance to celebrate my daughters birthday. Our waitress was so nice and had a lot of great suggestions. Would definitely go back again.

Yelp
Cute Italian restaurant in Oak Brook! Indoor, outdoor patio, and bar seating available. Service was great and the owner/manager even came to say hello! The calamari was lightly breaded - just the way I like it. The Vitella Pizzaiola entree was a great mix of veal and gnocchi, and the espresso martini was a great way to end the night. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu :)

Yelp
Five Stars all the way for Lucca experience! The bartender team of Karen and Jay are true service professionals that connect with their customers. I started w the Angelo Nero (black Manhattan-smoked) and transitioned to a Chianti along w a dozen oysters. A couple glasses later and I decided to eat light so I opted for the Scampi. Fantastic. The dining room seemed vast and many business groups and parties were enjoying the dining scene. My fav is always the bar. Great energy and stories shared amongst us bar-sitters and the team. I will def make Lucca a repeat stop when working in the Chicago burbs.

Yelp
Locca Osteria is my new favorite and go-to in the Oakbrook area. The smart location in the old Tuscany on the south side of 22nd street avoids all the chaos and stress of mall restaurant row parking. Valet is available as is parking in the lot west of the restaurant. The service is on game. It's worth it at least once to get the Dover sole or table side tossed fettuccini Alfredo. My favorite is the pappardelle bolognese. It's amazing. The cocktails are great as are the wine options and of course, the limoncello! Desserts and various coffee drinks have always been enjoyable. Only weird thing is the restrooms are outside the restaurant in the building so it feels like a bit of a hike to get there.

Yelp
We came here for lunch on Thursday and sat at the bar. Karen was our bartender and she was very friendly and her service was excellent. We had the beet salad and a pizza and both were delicious. The restaurant is beautiful and bar is very inviting. I highly recommend checking it out.

Kenneth P.

Yelp
Was looking forward to dining here but unfortunately two in our party informed us the day before that they were ill and were not going to be able to make it. I promptly called the restaurant to cancel our reservation (more than 24 hours in advance). However I was just charged $40 for the cancellation even though I gave them more than enough notice and the cancellation was totally out of our control. It's a shame this how a restaurant and business needs to bring in revenue. Further alienating customers from giving them a chance and penalizing them as a result. Plenty of amazing food options in the Oak Brook area, but was excited to give Lucca Osteria an opportunity. So if you think you're unable to make it less than 48 hours in advance then please don't make a reservation with this establishment.

Yelp
We stopped by here after some errands from the mall. I had made reservation and arrived less than 10 mins before my reservation time and we had to wait until it was our reservation time. Given that it was busy in there and there was also a private event, HOWEVER, the hostess greeted me and I had told her I have a reservation and she kind of acknowledged it, then sort of brushed me to the side because the second hostess came with some other table seating issues. Then other guests were asked where they want to be seated and got seated right away. I got annoyed and reminded them that I have a reservation as well and I was never even asked where I would like to be seated. Within the what seems like 2 mins, she forgot that I told her I had a reservation like it's the first time she's seen me. Like I'm sorry what?! She then told me that their reservation was before mine, but she missed my point completely because by the looks of their outside patio, there were enough tables if I wanted to be seated outside. I usually hardly ever talk about bad service, but this is the hostess and it should be noted and changed if this is the first thing guests see. She knew I was frustrated because I confronted her, but to no avail because we didn't get seated until we'll after our reservation time and the crazy traffic died down for her. After being seated, I already knew they're swamped and our waiter is not remotely at any fault of his own. He was very friendly and kind. He suggested getting the calamari even. To which, I was thinking it was grilled octopus, but this was fine too. The calamari tasted great at first then it slowly got a bit salty. The accompanying grains and crispy potatoes paired really well with it though. I had the linguine and my fiancé had the fettuccine because he wanted to see the cheese wheel. I felt like the fettuccine was all bells and whistles. It was super underwhelming and also under flavored. It desperately needed a pinch of salt. The pasta noodle itself is great though. The linguine was a much better note. It was well flavored and very well balanced. I wasn't a fan of their roasted Brussel sprouts at all. It was so crispy to the point of burnt and everything tasted so bitter.

Yelp
YUM!!! I had a pretty darn specific craving for pizza, so I went here--and this location absolutely delivered. My pizza was fabulous! The server was so kind and I had a wonderful visit here. The plates going to other tables also looked terrific--I definitely want to come back and try out some other entrees! Easily one of the best additions to the area.

Yelp
I feel like I'm being generous with two stars. I have no idea how this restaurant has recieved the reviews they did. First it was a half hour wait from our reservation time when we arrived. Then we finally get seated for our anniversary and the service begins awful. Not even an ask of if we wanted a beverage. Then we ask about the veal Parmesan meal on the menu. The waiter says no, that's not veal Parmesan and instead he thinks we should get the veal that is more than double the cost. We decided to NOT listen to him and come to find out he lied about the dish we ordered and it was in fact a veal Parmesan. Luckily we didn't listen to him because that was the only decent item we got. The antipasta pork belly was not good. It was super dry and under seasoned. Then the Alfredo was SO BLAND. I don't know how they sell so many besides the presentation because WOW it was bad. Seriously nothing good here including the service. Will never return.

Yelp
Went specifically to try their carpaccio that was unavailable. Menu had poached eggs on almost everything . I don't care for poached eggs, I really didn't think I could go wrong with a BLT, I was wrong - disgustingly sweet- yuck!

Yelp
Why would you come here? Because the menu looks good? Because it has high Yelp reviews? Dear reader, you can do better. Lucca is not a worthy choice of your hard-earned dollars. The best thing we ate there was the Burrata - but for $14, you only get a few ounces of cheese and 37 leaves of arugula. I do wish it was a larger portion. We also ordered the Ravioli ($23), which promised herb cheese, wild mushrooms, crispy sage, brown butter, and parmigiano, but tasted like standard pasta that had been pulled straight from the pot without any additional flavoring. And we had the Pollo Valdostana ($29), which allegedly had prosciutto, fontina cheese, herbs, and spinach. There was no prosciutto on the plate. The chicken itself had sort of a congealed brown gloop on top with a barely melted cheese slice. Service was generally good, but that food was a misfire and a bad value. I won't return.

Yelp
My daughter's baby shower was held at Lucca's and I couldn't have been more pleased. The ambiance didn't need for extra baby-shower decor, but of course, I did it anyway. Working with Sonia to help with the details felt so easy. (Sonia, you're a charm to work with!) The food was outstanding; ceasar salad, eggplant parmesean, chicken picatta, pasta, and tiramisu. However...the service out-shined every aspect of the event. From the moment I walked in the door to decorate, Louis showed up with a gentle smile and extra hands. Anything I needed, he pulled out of thin air. AMAZING. Nothing irritated him. He was assisted by Julia, who was also phenomenal. If you read this Louis, thank you so much for your help. YOU made my day and the shower I hosted a memory I'll keep forever. Thank you.

Yelp
Every time I visit Lucca, I leave wanting to come back. The customer service experience is great. Each server takes care of you and makes sure that you have everything you need. The food is amazing and anything you chose on the menu will be a hit. From the appetizers to the dessert. Can't wait for another night out at Lucca'a.

Yelp
Service was slow to start, but otherwise ok. You needed to ask for things that would ordinarily be offered in an Italian restaurant such as cheese or pepper. I also found some of my clams were not opened which means that they were not good and should not have been served. A manager came by the table and asked how everything was and I pointed out this issue to him. I was very surprised he took the unopened clam and said he would talk to the kitchen, but never provided any compensation for food that was not served properly. The server brought over the wrong check which was $40 more than our dinner. The dinner for three people with one person not drinking was almost $220 without tip. For the cost of the meal, I would have expected better service higher quality food.

Yelp
A big shout out to both Mariah and Melvin who worked with us at my Mother in law's 80th birthday party. The service was excellent, they attended to all our needs.. I would definitely request both of them for my next event.
