Tuscany Pizza and Grill

The alcoholic drinks were made perfectly two of them had me right where I needed to be by one of the waitresses there with long black hair. She was also our waitress and was wonderful, tended to us at the perfect times. The food was delicious and for the price was def worth it seems like it wouldn't be enough food but it filled us up and tasted wonderful. Its like fancy resteraunt but at a affordable price. We went in the late evening and sat outside and it was wonderful. I would eat here again if I ever go on vacation here again. A great experience

THE BEST PIZZA IN ALABAMA HANDS DOWN. We eat here every time we go to Gulf Shores — it is a must. The basil is so fresh like they have their own plants in the kitchen and the tomatoes are perfect. Fresh, sumptuous ingredients. Love the decor with old newspapers of Capone and wine bottles ready-to-serve. Always open seating and quick service. Super affordable as well — you’d spend more at a fast food chain than here.

We loved our first time eating here. It was late on a Saturday and not crowded at all. Our supreme pizza was delicious. It had the perfect ratio of toppings, and the crust was very good. We have eaten pizza at several places, and many of them are good in their own right, but we have added this as a place we will definitely eat again. I can't wait to try more of their dishes.

Sunday night dinner. Went here for dinner. Got seated instantly, waitress took my drink order right after. I ordered the SPAGHETTI ALLA PESCATORA with Alfredo sauce. Order probably took about 15 to 20 minutes. This dish was outstanding and I would highly recommend it. Great service, atmosphere and food.

We called in an order to go. I had the alfredo shrimp ravioli, my husband did the grilled steak, and we got cheese pizza for my son. We ordered around 830 ish and it was ready in about 15-20 minutes. Food was cooked and seasoned well. We stumbled across the place because I was looking to order from another restaurant but they didn't answer and my son already decided on pizza. It will be added to the list for future trips

Almost all the pizzas we tried in the area were pretty mid, so we didn’t expect Tuscany Pizza to be absolutely phenomenal. We had three large pizzas — Pepperoni, Burrata, and Seafood Alfredo. All had amazing flavor and a perfect crust. The service was great as well. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re on vacation!

We ordered pizza to go. The restaurant wasn’t crowded at all, looked nice, large open patio. The supreme pizza had very fresh ingredients. 14” was too much for the 2 of us. It was still great reheated.

Located in a shopping plaza across from Target. We had the Margherita pizza and it was absolutely delicious! We were seated in a section that was pretty much empty except for employees. Service was timely. Pretty good selection of entree choices as well. Lots of old fashioned photos and "Italian" ambiance in a semi-casual setting. Inside and outside seating(with fans). We sat inside as it was still a bit warm.

Their food is good, but I don't like having to dig around in my food to find a shrimp. especially spending over $80.00 for two.

Classic italian atmosphere, pleasant not old. Seated promptly at 6 pm reservation. House salad fresh & tasty. Wife had chicken fettucini & loved the sauce. I had peppororoni pizza & it a good NY style. Had wine w/ dinner. Tab was $88 w/ tip. Server was very good & attentive.

a little hole in the wall Italian place where everything is homemade with pretty good service. i got the penne alla picchio pacchio (kinda similar to pasta vodka) and it was okay. probably just personal preference but i didn't like the sausage in it or how watery the sauce was but it had good flavor. everyone else said their food was pretty good tho! the breadsticks and garlic sauce were my absolute fav but you have to pay if you want another basket after the first complimentary one.

Another go to for our family when visiting Gulf Shores. Food is very good and service is top notch. We normally get the entrees but sometimes we get a pizza, which is also very good. Very clean and well managed. 10/10

The staff is so friendly and attentive. We loved the burrata and prosciutto salad! The pepperoni pizza is thin crust and crispy, just the way we like it. The kids loved their Alfredo pasta!

The pizza, pasta, and calamari was fantastic! Also great service and ambiance we will definitely be back!

Today (11/1/24) was our second time to eat at this restaurant. Both experiences were great. We loved that it was family owned, but I don't think that is true now. It is a very cozy atmosphere. On our first visit back in February we had a pizza, and the crust and toppings were excellent. Today my husband had spaghetti and meatballs, and I had the spaghetti with marinara sauce. The meatballs were HUGE. Both dinners were tasty, but nothing that would make us go back a third time. They brought breadsticks to the table, and I asked if they were homemade. Unfortunately, they are not. However, the sauce they serve the the breadsticks is homemade. I didn't try either of them so I can't give a review on those two things. I can't say I would actually recommend this restaurant after our visit today...it definitely wasn't as good as our visit back in February.

My son and I went to Tuscany Grill on 5/6/25. I was very impressed with the quality and quantity of the food and service.The fried calamari and soup was a perfect appetizer (Delicious)! We also ordered a large pie with arugula and prosciutto (WOW)! I just moved to Gulf Shores from NY/NJ area which are known to have the best Italian food in the Country. You get a 10 from me!!!!! I can't wait to go back to see you! Thank You, Frank

Walked straight in. We were greeted by the hostess/ waitress. Nice ambiance. Small which is nice. Food was really good!

This is a small restaurant with a great staff and great food. Lamb chops were amazing, the pizza are huge and very good.

Great atmosphere! Service was Marginal. No smiles from servers; plopped menus on table with no asking what we wanted to drink for at least 5 minutes later. Busser acted like he was bored. Pizza was good but baked chicken Alfredo was very dry. I understand servers had to eat their lunch but we had to ask the busser for a to-go box and check while they were eating. Will not go there again!

Everything was delicious. The service was excellent and the atmosphere reminded me of a Tuscan restaurant in Italy. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a wonderful family gathering for our nephew's high school graduation. Great, cozy place. Started with the fried calamari with sweet chili sauce. Then we shared the buratta and prosciutto salad. It was huge! And also shared the spaghetti alla pescatora in white wine sauce. It was all very very good. Great experience, very nice server and we'll definitely be going back!

The BURRATA AND PROSCIUTTO SALAD was excellent and huge. I could not eat it all. Excited to have my leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Portions were plentiful. We had a large group and everyone got their food steaming hot. Some were disappointed but most of the group really enjoyed their food. The place is really cute and our waitress did a very nice job.

Went for family dinner. The dishes were made from scratch and very tasty. We had the pesto linguine, chicken parm and seafood in wine sauce. All good! Staff was friendly and menu moderately priced.

The service was very great, but some of our food left us a bit disappointed. The pepperoni pizza was very good and the crust was great. We got meat lovers as well, but there was so little meat on it that it was a hair disappointing. Also very greasy but still tasty. We tried the mozzarella and tomato bruschetta but in my picture you can see that it doesn't look like bruschetta at all. There was one cherry tomato on each slice of bread. The Alfredo sauce was not bad, but not super flavorful. We also ordered the fried mozzarella which was very good!

Drove 800 miles to visit the area. First stop was to Tuscany for a sausage and pepperoni pizza. Picked it up and drove another 20 miles to where we're staying. Opened the box to find just an uncut pepperoni pizza. Called Tuscany, and was only offered a $5 credit on a $20 pizza. Won't be back to give them a second chance.

I don't know. You'd think that an Italian restaurant that has pizza it it's title would actually have ya know, good pizza. We had high hopes. The reviews on Yelp were great. The interior looked sweet. Staff were friendly. It was a Saturday night and they had live music, which was a bonus. The breadsticks tasted great. The Moscato wine we ordered was delish. The menu had some very interesting sounding choices. After ordering our pizza, we were already planning another trip back to try the pasta. Then the pizza arrived. The sausage was dry and tasteless. The crust was overcooked. The cheese was NOT cheesy. How can pizza not be cheesy? The whole thing was dry as toast. Lucky for me there were seasonings on the table. I doctored it with olive oil, salt, pepper, and Parmesan. The table next to ours ordered pizza, too. I looked over to see if it was any better. Nope. Well, I don't think we will be coming back to try the pasta. Darn it.

This is definitively the worst Italian restaurant I have experienced. Flavorless calamari served with egg roll sauce. No joke. Mediocre pizza. VERY overworked staff unable to check in on staff.

Food is always good. They have decided to not offer cloth napkins. To me cloth napkins says upscale. Paper napkins from a dispenser does not say upscale to me, it says McDonald's. I don't normally leave for bad reviews, but I think this deserves attention.

We didn't order pizza and I think that was the problem. The table bread was flavorless and tasted like frozen breadsticks from Sisco, served with ranch. (?) The fried zucchini was watery, undercooked, and the breading was slightly sweet. (Again - ?) The pasta dishes were served as molten lava and the sauces all separated into puddles of butter and cheese. They seemed wildly understaffed with only 2 servers. The take out pizza was booming though. So if you go, order the pizza.

Good ambiance! Good Tiramisu Martini! Good Happy Hour pricing! Service was lacking. Pizza was a little over cooked.

Very average Italian restaurant. The portions are good but the quality is just okay. There can be a bit of a wait when visiting the restaurant and also when picking up. Our to go order took 40 mins to be ready. Overall, I wouldn't choose it myself but I wouldn't be disappointed if our group wanted to go here.

Great food! Easy to get to and the atmosphere is so pleasant. Try to come eat here anytime we are in town!

We like culinary adventure, but sometimes returning to culinary roots is appreciated. This restaurant tries to replicate the flavor of an Italian tavern on the coast with very good style. Forget its address in a strip mall, because inside we found very good dishes that respect the quality of good Italian traditional dishes. Everything was outstanding, delicious, terrific.

Small location found in a store front between Kitty's Kafe and a Real Estate company. Small interior, mainly with tables and booths that seat 4 with one table that sits 6, and a small bar setting. We came in at 4pm and was seated immediately. The staff looked like they were having a bad day, not much for small talk, just straight to the point. Not rude, but not pleasant. The floor needed to be swept, the air vents are filthy, there were two tables that were occupied in there and three tables that needed to be bused. A HUGE irritation of mine is when an employee comes in like they own the place, gets their own to-go drink and then leaves. No guarantee that they washed their hands before they touched the restaurant product. I almost left, but this place came recommended and the menu got me through the door. We had the kids spaghetti, chicken spinach soup, lamb chops, ribeye, and the chicken parm. If you want bread, it's a $3 up charge. Daughter didn't really like the spaghetti because of the sauce. It was a little "tangy". My other daughter loved the soup. Those were the hits. We ordered our lamb and steak medium rare. It came out well done and over seasoned. The asparagus was really good and the mashed potato's were super creamy. I enjoyed the veggies. The steak was terrible. I took a picture of it so you'd believe me that it was over cooked. The lamb is really "gamey". The chicken parm came out looking like a rockstar. But the flavor was similar to that of a Fazzoli's. Or like a fast food pasta restaurant. The chicken was thin. I wasn't impressed. If I'm going to pay that much for chicken parm I need to be impressed by it. It costs less and is better at Olive Garden. Also, they added gratuity to our receipt?? It was a family of 5. Not multiple parties. I'm normally a big tipper 25% or greater but not when you add it into my bill. Im not from around here, but if I was I'm not sure I'd go back.

Overall score is a 9/10 (we did a pickup order and had a 20 minute drive back home) Food: we had the chicken Alfredo pizza and the mozzarella bites. It was so good and I can't wait to experience it fresh! 9/10 Service: it was quick and the boy was nice! 10/10 Ambiance: I don't feel like I can rate this because we got the pizza to go but it was a beautiful looking restaurant. This was our first time having Tuscany pizza and I loved it. The chicken Alfredo pizza threw me off when I opened the box and saw broccoli on the pizza but don't knock it till you try it because it was YUM! If you don't want to just take my word for it, every one who passed by us at the pool was asking where we got our pizza from because it looked so good!

Food was like something in a can. Bland, not good. Just a few customers, not busy, and poor service.

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants. It has a new owner and the quality of the food has changed for the worse. The grilled salmon fish quality is poor. The grilled chicken is a slab that doesn't look like a real chicken breast. Meat glue maybe? And the place is not so clean. Both seats not wiped down. I won't go here anymore

Wonderful atmosphere and delicious food. I love the gnocchi with the white sauce. The service is good every time I've been there too.

We ordered takeout for our family of 4. The staff was incredibly nice throughout the entire process. And the food was delicious. We each got a pasta dish - sometimes when you bring home a pasta dish (specifically dishes like the lasagna bolognese), it doesn't taste as good as it would if you ate it there. This was not the case, best lasagna bolognese I have had by far. Everyone else raves about their dishes as well (gnocchi, baked chicken alfredo and penne alla picchio). Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone living in or visiting the area. Also they had the cutest outdoor seating, we will definitely be going back out to take advantage of that area.

WAS one of our favorite Italian restaurants but sneaking in a 20% gratuity tip and bad service ruined my appetite for this place. We had a party of 2 and they added the 6 + 20% gratuity to my bill because we set with friends that came in from out of state. If I'm going to spend over a $100 for a meal for 2 people by golly I'm going to go to a much fancier restaurant. I normally leave a good sized tip but they snuck in 20% on top of that. Very doubtful if I frequent this restaurant again. In the future I will be telling others about this. The music was really good and enjoyable we had a good time visiting with our friends. Too bad this restaurant or waitress Stacey L was greedy.

I frequent this restaurant regularly when family comes in from out of town. Going in there this evening around 7 pm with family was the worst experience ice ever had there. The waitress, Stacy L, did not deserve the gratuity that was automatically added to our bill. She mixed up orders and would not clean off used plates; did not check on us for drinks and brought my friends salad out after his main entree. I ended up cleaning off our table a few times, putting dirty dishes on an empty table. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this restaurant. The one thing I did enjoy was the live music, he deserved a good gratuity!!

We ordered 2 spaghetti dinners, a lasagna and baked dish. Food was served and the lasagna had a BUG atop it, that was alive and moving. Waitress saw it and acted like we were odd for being freaked out by same. Spaghettis were barely warm, not hot. It was a disaster meal, no manager EVER came to our table, they did not comp even 1 entree due to the BUG ISSUE.

Thought the bread would come served already but was actually an appetizer. I ordered the pesto with chicken and it was seasoned beautifully . Overall it was delicious you can order it with shrimp too, but the sauce was great but there were a few huge basil clumps that weren't implemented or shredded in the sauce just on one side. Also had an order of baked chicken alfredo stayed hot and was also good. Dont know if the lasagna was baked but my mom said it wasnt that hot. Dad had a grilled ribeye said it was also seasoned beautifully, but asparagus came whole but the ends shouldve been trimmed off. We also ordered a crème brûlée two coffees and cheesecakes. Crème brûlée was amazing. Coffee was strong and complimented the very savory cheesecake.

I have posted previous reviews I think about a year or more ago and have been to this restaurant many times but over the last two months it seems to be going down hill and I wanted to post a update to everyone. First off the A/C is out and has been for about 2 months. At first everyone understood they ran some temp a/c blowers etc so you have that to look at all over the restaurant which takes away from the ambiance. Not to mention it is still very warm inside so we have sat outside most evenings. The second big change is the food. Last time I felt like it may have been a fluke but the same things were present again last night. The sauces are being stretched out water down a bit I guess is the only way I can explain it. They used to be thick and rich and now well very liquidly and lacking in taste. Dad had the Spaghetti and the sauce was more clearish than that deep red it used to have from previous meals. The service was ok they used to be very positive and happy but I think the heat is getting to them because they weren't as positive as the past. Overall they have droped from a 4.5 to 2.0 at best right now. I hope they turn things around soon I will miss eating there for awhile.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would!! The management is top thing that is horrible, none of them speak english or even are there half the time (which is unprofessional in my opinion!) The manager prior to the one they have now was great (Sweet blonde lady) who was great and always greeted us and asked us how everything was, like a manger should! We sat down at the bar to have drinks and food and I looked over one of the gentleman that worked there who was folding pizza boxes was picking at the bottom of his shoes and then running his fingers through his hair and then would go back to folding pizza boxes! What happened to having your hair in a hair net or pulled back? Very disturbing to watch someone who was making a box where you were about to put your food in pick at his shoes then his hair! The service is fine, there are a few people here that know how talk to customers but the rest of them are just there. I hope this can be changed, but seems like there is no hope. Overall I am disgusted and disappointed, this used to be one of our favorite places to eat but we will not be back, do not spend your money here not worth it!!!

We had a great experience here! Service was AMAZING, our waitress was the sweetest. We started out with breadsticks and they were delicious! We took down a couple baskets of those. Love the Parmesan dipping sauce that came with them. We also had the caprese salad and it was definitely the highlight of our meal. SO good. The tomatoes were so fresh and the whole thing was just on point. For our meals, we had the spaghetti pesto and eggplant parm. The spaghetti pesto was fairly bland, adding salt helped and a side of red sauce. Eggplant parm was good and there was a ton of it. Would definitely come back here when in the area again and maybe just fill up on breadsticks and caprese salad!

Great dinner and service. Ordered a meat lovers pizza. The crust was thin and crunchy in the middle and thicker and crunchy at edge. Was so good. The bread sticks would almost be perfect if they were hotter and more garlic butter. Our server was great and they had live music.

We stopped by this restaurant because my 5yo eats only pizza and it was his birthday. We were in Pelican Place for something else and happened upon this place and, since they had pizza, we said why not. But boy is it more than pizza! We ordered a kids pizza and kids chicken tenders. My picky 5yo was silent the whole time because he loved the pizza so much! As I'm cutting up my 2yo, chicken, I taste it expecting the typical frozen chicken taste - not here! These "tenders" were actually VERY tender! So good! We had been on a search for FRESH calamari all week (we are on the gulf, so we're hopeful, but no luck all week - until here! Calamari was TENDER! No rubbery calamari! Fresh, crispy, tender - perfect! Portions are huge! Pizza was fantastic! The prosciutto & burrata salad is so good! The salty prosciutto with the creamy burrata and the sweet sun-dried tomatoes - so good! This place is quality and the staff is super nice! Loved it and so glad we stopped in! Made our 5yo birthday lunch enjoyable for all!

Here on vacation and Yelp led us here for pizza and pasta. Very cute little Italian restaurant. We had pizza and pasta and meatballs. Server, Meghan, who was excellent recommended those 2 dishes. Would go back again while here.
