TUSK DINER - Barberton

This is the best place for a home made meal with the greatest service - thanks Jen and Olivia. We went in on a Sunday afternoon and ordered the Blackbean Chili with poblanos and a side of the breakfast potatoes. The chili was delicious and hearty and the potatoes were a large portion with sliced red peppers. So good! I highly recommend putting this place on your must visit list! Parking available on side streets.

My family and I just finished dinner here. The food was wonderful and homemade. They are in a former Woolworth diner and have the original counter and booths! Nostalgia combined with excellent food and service makes this a must visit restaurant. If you are not from Barberton, it is well worth the drive! I came from Lorain for this gem and will be back.

What a gem in downtown Barberton! The dinner menu is not your typical fare. We had a artisanal cheese plate with whipped honey, edible flowers and three great cheeses. A side of house made kimchi rounded out our appetizers. Dinner was gumbo with bulk sausage, crisp okra (a nice surprise), and freshly made ciabetta. My wife took half her tuna melt home as it was loaded with albacore tuna. Our server Olivia was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu options. It has a lean, modern diner feel to it. Certainly an alternative option to the bar fare in the surrounding restaurants. Highly recommend.

Loved the vintage diner atmosphere. The service was exceptional. We all enjoyed our meal and portions were very generous. *We also really recommend the fish, but it wasn't an option for Google.

My husband and I ate here today for the first time, and it was absolutely wonderful! The service was great; friendly and our waitress kept our coffee and tea filled! The food was delicious. I had the tuna melt, and my husband had the bacon burger, and we both got the chefs potatoes as a side, and everything was so great and flavorful. The quality of the tuna was on point; you could tell everything was made fresh! The portions are so big, I was able to take half home and had a delicious dinner also. We were so impressed we also wandered around the little retail area, and I found a cooler of fresh foods, with homemade spicy Kimchi! I purchased a container with my lunch. It is absolutely delicious and blows Cleveland Kimchi away! There were some cute little plants for sale, I'm going to go back and grab for my mom, and some different flavors of Jams that sounded really good. My husband was a little disappointed he originally wanted to try the brisket stroganoff, and it was sold out, but now we will follow on FB to see what their weekly menu items are! I saw about 5 other items on their regular menu that I can't wait to go back and try! I'm old school and loved the Woolworths counter. It was a cute and clean little diner, will be back soon. It's such a breath of fresh air to have a place that cooks all homemade instead of just greasy spoon stuff!

Alyssa is really nice. I didn't get to meet her Australian shepherds. Garlic stirfry was excellent. hint of ginger, cabbage, other veg. Tangy liquid, I used a fork and spoon. She brought me sriracha sauce to squirt on top. I returned for the same Garlic stirfry plus special of Miso Maple Brussel Sprouts to go. Jennifer provided delightful service on Sunday!

This restaurant is an excellent place to get a good meal. I ordered an onion burger and chefs fries. You could not get a better meal for the price. Our waitress Olivia was exceptional and very friendly. She differently fosters a friendly social environment. This will be my go to spot.

This is one of my favorite places! Food is fresh, staff is so friendly, and place is very clean… and cute. Highly recommend the fish or chicken for its amazing crust.

I Loved this place! The diner ambiance is so cute with a super long wrap around counter and lots of booths and tables on the sides. My meal was delicious. The homemade ranch dressing on my Cobb salad was amazing. I couldn't believe the low price for a salad packed with greens, avocado, yummy seasoned grilled chicken, bacon, etc. I ate plenty, but was able to take the rest of the toppings home. I asked for another little cup of the fantastic dressing and made TWO more delicious salads! I'm going to see if they will sell the dressing it was so good. My fish & chips were great, too. I Loved the different sauce for tartar sauce. I would have liked the fish to be more crispy but I would just ask for that next time. Fresh cut fries were great! My friend got the tuna melt. It was huge and she loved it. They also got a charcuterie board -has to be the cheapest price around at 9.99, but with delicious cheeses and preserves and honey I think. Our server was so sweet, super efficient and took care of us so nicely. I can't wait to go back! It was a great experience!

An old diner style restaurant decorated with plants and art. The food isn't exceptional - though the avocado toast others ordered looked appetizing. The lemon chicken soup I tried was very mid, as the kids these days would say. Too salty for my taste and likened to something from a can. Bit disappointing for the price. The wait staff was inattentive at the end of our meal when collecting the check resulting in wasted time waiting for the last bill to load onto the electronic device.

My brother David took me for my 55th birthday ..it was my first time there and it was amazing!!!

One of my favorite spots in Barberton! I stop by at least once a week for their rotating soup selection and specials. (Pictured this weeks: meatloaf sliders) Food comes first here. Talked with owner, long time chef, first restaurant so still honing the business. Have seen improvements in ambiance decor and overall cozyiness. Lots of server turnover early on but huge strides in from day 1. Look forward to seeing what year 2 holds. Thinking of catering my next family gathering with them after seeing the spreads they provide for their event venue partners.

We had a lovely Sunday Brunch. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. Adorable cozy diner atmosphere with booths and cool swivel stools (with backs) around center U-shaped island. Really good coffee and our friendly server kept our cups filled and warm. Menu was creative comfort food and the weekly specials (meatloaf sliders, cheeseburger pizza, Dulce de leche brownie A al la mode) all looked interesting and yummy. We will return often both for the all-day breakfast and dinner before brews at Ignite!

We were out on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and came upon this little gem of a restaurant. We both had the perch, we will be coming back to sample more of the menu in the future. Our Server was Torie, very kind and helpful. Stop in and check it out, you won't be sorry... everything is homemade I believe!

I can not say enough about how delicious everything is on the breakfast and lunch menu. I need to try the dinner still. The cuban was delicious and the kimchi omelette. Great coffee amd service

This is my third time at Tusk and every meal has been excellent. Today the bacon cheeseburger with a fresh salad and my granddaughter had the kids cheeseburger and fries. The fries are fresh cut and delicious. The burgers were fresh with plenty of meat. My sister had the Cobb salad which was also delicious. The service was great. It is a cool atmosphere. Go.

We've been here several times for lunch or dinner and have always had great service and delicious food. Their pickles are AMAZING! We've had the Falafel Smash, Burgers, BBQ Pork sandwich, Fish sandwich, Tuna melt sandwich, and the Apple and blueberry goat cheese salad, and have thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Fresh cut fries are wonderful too. Highly recommend checking them out.

Never been here before, great atmosphere, great service, even better food. The food was all fresh, cooked perfectly, and each item was somehow very good. As soon as I got halfway thru the meal I had to write a review bc of how good it was.

This restaurant is wonderful. The menu is unique and the food is excellent. We came here for dinner and loved it so much we came again for breakfast. James the owner is so nice and is an excellent chef. The restaurant is clean and so cute and unique. Please support this great local business.

You can tell that this business is trying to be at the top of their game, kind, quick, attentive, tasty, clean and awesome coffee to boot. Put it on your list to give a try. Sorry no pix, but everything was cooked to order, hot, plentiful and delicious!

Tyson (cook) and Tori (server) hit it out of the park on Saturday evening, meals and service were outstanding!

I ordered the biscuits and gravy and my wife ordered the regular breakfast. Gravy was cold and the waitress never came back to check on us until she brought the bill. Food was ok, but way more expensive than it was worth. I might be willing to try it again for lunch since they seem to be getting good reviews. I was excited to try this new place, but disappointed.

New restaurant in town( Barberton Oh) We were So DISSAPOINTED !!! Not only did they not have enough staff they were rude We waited for our time to be waited on but The waitress/ manager bumped us for group 4 who came in like 10- 15 min after and took thier order She avoided us had to get bus boy to get her attention She was argumentive and tried tmake it like i was being rude instead She told us If we didnt want to eat there we could go somewhere else So we did We went to Dees diner and had awesome service!! Makes you wonder if the service was bad at Tusk was the food too??

This place just opened a few weeks ago. Made a visit there today and wow! The atmosphere is aesthetic and clean. The food was amazing and plated beautifully. Service was fast and employees were very friendly. Definitely recommend this place for breakfast/lunch. 10/10

A gem right in the middle of my hometown. Lisa had the Magic City Skillet (3 eggs, ham, bacon, breakfast potatoes and toast) with a side of gravy. I had the breakfast bodega ( sausage, fried egg, lettuce, tomato, avocado with manchego cheese on a bun). Just delicious! Open Thursday through Sunday. Great place for Sunday brunch!!!

A group of 5 of us arrived for a Saturday breakfast/brunch. We were greeted by the waitress and shown to our table. I noticed the place was tastefully decorated and very clean. We were served our drink order while we perused the minimal menu. Our orders were made and the service was excellent. Observations in no particular order: the food was excellent quality the menu items were inventive and distinctive the cost was a bit pricey there is a surcharge for credit card use and tipping begins at 20% The place was not crowded and street parking was at a premium although customers trickled in while we were there. I attributed this to the fact that the restaurant is fairly new.

This was a very quaint atmosphere. The cafeteria style seating booth and old style tables. The service was great. Staff was friendly and helpful in choosing items. The food was amazing. Was amazing.

Service was great. Food not so much. Had Rueben and daughter had a salad. Looks like possibly a fun place to party tho
