"Bow-Edison, the darling Skagit Valley pocket of art and farm-focused food, gives visitors several worthwhile restaurant detours. At the top of the list is Tweets, the flower-filled cafe that offers a weekly changing menu plus an array of wonderful pastries using local ingredients. Recent selections have included lamb shakshuka, and hummingbird cake with browned butter, bananas, and pineapple." - Megan Hill, Mark Van Streefkerk

"No place captures the hip novelty of tiny Edison better than Tweets (no relation to the social media platform). It serves coffee, baked goods (such as blood orange lemon tarts), and a changing menu of breakfast and lunch comfort food items, with ingredients painstakingly sourced. The cafe is open Saturday and Sunday for takeout only and doesn’t take credit cards." - Matthew Lombardi, Maggy Lehmicke

Amazing food. Great vibes. Good value for the fab food. Drove from Seattle just for breakfast and did not dissapoint. Would totally go back and I’m dreaming of the frittata with poblano pepper. Love this!

Tweets is located on an S bend thoroughfare in the tiny town of Edison - you’ll see cyclists and motorists touring Skagit County while you enjoy your amazing meal in their outdoor patio or garden. The food manages to always be fresh and in season no matter the time of year you visit. It’s rustic and elevated, even served in a cardboard takeout box. Most recently we tried the smoked salmon on toast points with a bright vinaigrette, rustic torta (meats and veggies stacked then baked in a savory puff pastry), and the cherry pie. Be forewarned that the serving sizes are inconsistent - the salmon dish and salads are probably considered single serving while the rustic torta and porchetta sandwich can be shared. Not sure what the fuss over bad service is about - we’ve had stellar service every visit and hey, everyone has a bad day once in awhile.

Google
Great service and fast service. The parking lot is small, but don't worry, this is a quaint small town it was easy to find parking, and we didn't mind the walk. So, you're driving by, like we were. Stop on by.

Everything about this place is amazing. Torta Rustica is hands down my favorite dish. The petit fours and shortbread cookies are too die for. They take cash, check, and venmo just keep that in mind.

Google
Important things to know: Food is excellent with very generous portions AND that includes desserts. We had pork sandwiches and cherry pie. The sandwiches were terrific, but coupled with the pie, too much for one meal. The sandwiches made a great dinner, too! I don't generally like cherry pie, but this was excellent. More pie, less sandwich next time!! Also, they are cash only.

Google
My favorite place for brunch hands down. You can't beat the ingredient quality and their way of taking a popular dish and making it new, refreshing, so much more delicious than usual. I look forward to seeing their lastest menu every time I go. Check their Instagram beforehand if you want to see their menu. Cash or venmo only.

A delicious experience in a special place. Tweets sourced ingredients seasonally and locally when possible and without the pretense. I couldn’t ask for a more comforting meal in a cozy space on a moody Sunday afternoon.

Google
We came a few minutes before they opened and there was a line up at the door. It felt very chaotic as they opened and the line up kept growing. We were lucky to get a table. I got the poblano frittata and it was one of the best breakfast dishes I’ve ever had. All ingredients worked so well together. The portion was huge (left with lots of leftovers). The frittata had layers of eggs, peppers and potatoes and I could taste some goat cheese. The giant beans on the side went well with the dish. Their Americano was smooth and the rice crispy dessert was delicious. I can see why the line up never ended. This place is amazing! Cash, check or Venmo only.

Yelp
this place has the best ice cream, milkshakes, coffee, from anywhere i've ever been. if you live or are visiting long island, tweets a must stop at location.

Maria J.

Yelp
Oh my goodness!!!!! Today it was our first time here and we are definitely coming back!! Seriously, the food is AMAZING! The portions are great! Good enough portions to get my husband full haha. We got there ten minutes before opening as we heard they get very busy. They got our order right away. Do be aware they don't accept card only PayPal, Cash or Check, this took us by surprise. We sat outside, the outdoor sitting is lovely!

Sara Y.

Yelp
Best food between Seattle and Vancouver hands down. Highest quality ingredients, best service, great rustic feel to the space, and most creative use of ingredients. It's my favorite. Just like smiling.

Yelp
Went here for lunch a few weeks ago with a group and forgot to leave a review. It was Saturday and super busy- we got lucky and got a table (outside). I didn't k ow this was a cash only establishment so that was something I wasn't prepared for however.....the choice of food was amazing and the servings huge! I had a quiche that was absolutely delicious! It was worth the long line and wait. Other in the group had a variety of choices but not ONE person left unhappy or dissatisfied. It's a small place with very limited indoor seating. It is cute and clean - the staff were super friendly. A must go to if your in Edison.

Chenda N.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this great find and got a chance to order a beverage and baked goods. Cash, Venmo and checks are accepted only. No cards. A small but mighty with charm. Visited on a busy on a Saturday morning with patrons enjoying breakfast.

Yelp
You'll never go wrong at Tweets. Best food in Edison. Food looks good, taste wonderful. Flavorful. Come see for yourself!

Yelp
After spending the morning at the tulip fields, we headed to Bow/Edison area for a late lunch. I have been to this part of town before and remembered how cute it was, and wanted to bring my friends who had never been before. Parking: the area was busy, but I found street parking pretty easily! Pay: I think it was cash, venmo, or check only here! Def no credit card. I ordered: - meatball sandwich with a side of potato salad - double chocolate cookie - rice crispy treat with chocolate My food came out pretty fast. The taco place next door had a wait for food. I wasn't the biggest fan of the cookie because I thought it wasn't chewy enough, but I really enjoyed the rice crispy treat, and I loved how they had it thinly sliced so it was easy to share and eat. My meatball sandwich was also delicious and so filling! I am not the biggest potato salad fan, but enjoyed the side they gave me. I would definitely come back here!

Carey M.

Yelp
The service is friendly and fast. The vibe is super cute and laid-back open air. Some of the best food you'll have anywhere. All farm fresh. I absolutely love the croissant egg and Gruyere pesto breakfast sandwich. Absolutely amazing.

David P.

Yelp
Wow! What a gem of a cafe! Cute, quirky ambiance with amazing , homey food perfect for a cold PNW day. My wife got the corn chowder and said it was the best corn chowder she's ever had. The pomegranates in the chowder had texture and sweetness to perfectly complement the earthly poblano peppers and the bitterness of the dandelion greens. I got the chicken pot pie and it was loaded with chicken, carrots, green beans, and peas. The team was so nice and friendly and came over to say hi to our 4 month old. We'll definitely make the trip back some time and let all of our friends know.

Mack M.

Yelp
The Croque Madam was amazing! I highly recommend it! Very large servings here as well.

Kristin M.

Yelp
A bit pricey but you get a heaping amount of food. Quirky decor and everything fits the style. I'd love to see the lights on at night and wish there were weekday hours! Get there early, items sell out! Cash, check or Venmo! Outdoor seating with limited indoor space.

Chloe T.

Yelp
The food is always tasty at Tweets! We ordered a salmon salad, quiche, and croissant sandwich this time. All were wonderful. I know it's redundant to write that it's definitely overpriced since it's mentioned so often. But it's true! We would eat here regularly if it wasn't so expensive. As it is, we only go when we have visitors. It was much less busy during this last visit than I have ever seen it. So the indoor area was not crowded at all and we got seats immediately. There were also plenty of seats outside. Because we were sitting next to the opening to the kitchen, we could hear the woman working there making fun of a couple customers who asked about the peanut content in the dishes. It says on the menu that they do not do ANY substitutions and they are adament, making no exceptions. So, if you ask, know that you will be mocked either to your face or behind your back. I would recommend trying this place at least once for the incredible food. After that, try the Mexican food place next door that is owned by the same person/people and then move on to other wonderful offerings in the area.

Christopher H.

Yelp
Amazing little place in Edison, which has been a mini adventure in itself, which serves up a lot of variety for a small coffee shop. We also had a chai and it was wonderful. Great ambience as you eat. Service was fast and friendly.

Eric C.

Yelp
First time here. Super cute spot in town and amazing looking (and tasting) treats. Tried the Lemon Current Matcha cookie, delicious. For some reason not accepting cards right now? A bit pricey ($9 for a slice of pie??) but the ambiance and charm make it worth a visit.

Xichen J.

Yelp
This place was recommended to me by my boss's wife, so I had to go check it out. Tweets is located in the heart of Edison, right before Cain Ct. turns West. Street parking is easy to find around the restaurant. Two things that are different about this place from the typical restaurant are 1) they only accept cash or venmo and 2) customers wait in line to order. The second aspect would not have been a big issue if it were not for the fact that the wait is outside in the heat for about 20 minutes, which can be very unpleasant during lunch time, when the sun is beating down on you. After ordering, the wait for the food is another 40 minutes. Seating is very limited and one must play musical chairs with other customers in order to secure a spot to sit. Finally, the food I ordered was Kimchee and pork belly sandwich. The only thing going for the food is that it is fresh, but everything else is 2 stars or less. The flavor is awful as the sandwich taste like it is soaked in lemon and vinegar. It is way too sour. Also, the bread is soggy and gross. I do not recommend this place for anyone.

Tigre P.

Yelp
Ate the croissant sandwich with ham and it was a delight. Took a bit as they were busy with lunch rush. Chai 16oz was more like a 12oz, good and smooth though. Unique rustic farmhouse atmosphere, lots of outdoor seating.

Jim M.

Yelp
Fast and friendly. Stopped in for a dessert in midafternoon. Right in middle of town. Fun interaction with bikers who enjoyed it too!!

Christian O.

Yelp
I'll take any excuse to drive up to Tweets from Seattle. It's my favorite restaurant in Washington. Can't go wrong with the menu. Just go.

Shweta S.

Yelp
This place was a recommendation from one of my colleagues, so we decided to stop by for brunch. Tweets is a cute, artsy local cafe in a small town of Edison. It probably seats around 25-30 people indoor, they also hhave aa couple of tables outside (I'm sure a great spot in spring/summer when the weather is nice). You order at the register and then find a table. They will get your order. Tweets probably sources from local farms, and has plenTy of options for meat lovers. For vegetarians like me, we managed to find a couple of savory options. Of course there are plenty of sweet baked goodies.. During our visit, we got artichoke frittata, vanilla latte as well as brioche. Frittata was definitely my favorite! The potatoes tasted so good. It does come with a side of salad, which was fresh and tasty. They serve blueberry brioche with housemade whipping cream (which we opted out). The brioche itself was so tasty. It's pretty heavy. Vanilla latte was decent. Overall, the cafe had a nice vibe, great food, nice ambience, friendly service.. and did I mention delicious food? Note, they only accept cash/check. There's an ATM across from them, so you can always go there like we did. If you are in town, give it a try! We surely will be back next time :)

Jason G.

Yelp
This place makes amazing food with generous portions and brews a mean cup of coffee. Servers are helpful and really friendly. Prices are slightly above average but that seems to be the case about everything these days. Every time I've stopped in or drove past Tweets is packed. FYI, it's cash or Venmo only.

Greg F.

Yelp
Relentlessly Amazing!! I just finished another Beet Salad with Radicchio. This is the 10th time I have had this selection in a row. I know I should try something else... but I just can't. The flavor combinations of sweet apple, bitter radicchio, rich walnut, tangy thrilling vinaigrette with a smooth, crumbly, wedge of cheese...all combined with THE perfectly roasted, perfectly textured, perfectly unbelievably sweet , burnt-edged beet wedges. Yummmmmmmm Simply... YUMMY Despite my flavor diverse son sharing a bite of his smoked salmon with white beans...and experiencing a short moment of regret in my heart...I'll be back for number 11 soon! Thanks TA and the flavor masters @ Tweets!!! ... Well that was Beet Salad number 11 and it has not gotten worse! Just monotonously amazing food. One time after another!!

Julia V.

Yelp
The atmosphere is nice, but the owner is a bit rude to guests if you don't appear to belong in the establishment. Despite being paying customers, we felt as though we were talked down to and treated as less than by the owner- this included being yelled at to not claim a table before ordering. As a young woman, I didn't appreciate a grown man raising his voice to me and my other girl friends. There would have been a kind way to bring this up, but he just yelled and pointed at us while quickly rushing away. Because we aren't the type to shy away because of one bad moment, we still stayed for the food which was good. When my friend asked for sugar for her coffee from another employee, he also raised his voice at her, which made her feel talked down to and actually caused her to shed a few tears. We left all feeling disheartened at the experience and felt as though we were not treated with kindness or respect in the restaurant. A bit later we tried this restaurant again with hopes that it was a hard day and we're treated with more tolerance, but were still disappointed. We feel as though we were spoken to with less respect due to both our age and the way in which we were dressed/appeared. Some of the clientele and employees of this establishment I believe also have biases against those who they do not believe fit in. As young women, and with a few women in our group being people of color, we felt stared at and were spoken to shortly, cut in line, or ignored. I think that there needs to be a serious conversation about how to go about addressing internal biases both at this restaurant by the owner and in Bow Edison generally.

David F.

Yelp
Great food, great setting, great service! Tweets has a nice sunny deck to eat at. I had the Reuben sandwich today and it did not disappoint. There was just the right amount of pastrami (I prefer not too much) with a salty, soft mouth feel. Instead of sauerkraut, they used a fresh cabbage slaw which was brilliant! It had a lighter texture to contrast the pastrami. The bread was a hearty item from a business a few doors down (Breadfarm). The accompanying potato salad was brightened by a vinegary dressing that elevated it. A few sweet pickles were added and I was a happy man.

Lyan J.

Yelp
What an experience we had at Tweets! The location is awesome, it's has that small town charm that everyone loves. If the sun is out, be prepared to wait quite a while in line. From there, the line will lead you to an almost completely illegible hand written menu BUT you can use this opportunity to brush up on your cursive. From that point in line, get excited to be verbally accosted by their barista who (yes) is a grown ass man that likes to say things like "that sounds like a fancy Starbucks drink, we don't make those here" as my husband simply ordered a macchiato and no he didn't want a Starbucks style drink, he wanted an actual DRINK FROM TWEET'S MENU, the audacity right? Also, be sure to come with cash in hand because otherwise, yep you guessed it, you will be publicly shamed by either the same stick up his ass barista or the "annoyed you had the nerve to patron this small business" cashier. Also, this restaurant has adopted the "Stand while you eat" initiative in that you most likely won't be able to find seating BUT if you do, it's cool to make friends with the other strangers since they'll be starring you down until your seat opens up. All that being said, I will say that the food is outstanding.

Rebecca L.

Yelp
I just can't get enough of their breakfast! We love the poblano quiche-ish dish and their breakfast sandwich. Everything is so fresh and pack with flavors...it may actually be the best breakfast I've ever had (a shockingly bold statement, I know!!) Don't forget to bring cash !

Mary-Jane A.

Yelp
Was driving through Edison and came across this great place for brunch. Had an excellent breakfast, beef brisket and smoked salmon, both excellent. They only take cash and checks, no credit cards, so make sure you have enough cash with you. We were there mid morning and there was a steady flow of people coming in. Really liked the atmosphere and all the staff were very friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you're around this area and bring a big appetite as the portions are large.

Shirley C.

Yelp
Five of us rode down from Vancouver BC on our motorcycles and while riding through the quaint little town of Edison cane across this sweet cafe. We stopped and sure glad we did! I had the Veggie Latke with an egg on top, potatoes with a side of arugula salad! It was delicious and filling. Charles, the proprietor is awesome! Super fresh wholesome food locally sourced! Will be back!

Zermin A.

Yelp
Lovely small quaint little food place... with beautiful decor and fresh food! Everything tasted delicious, it's organic and wholesome! One less star because the service wasn't the best! They were too busy so not too friendly! But other than that little glitch, this was a great find in a small town! Really enjoyed the food!

Clarence William W.

Yelp
Here for a bite to eat. The food here looks amazing! The place is rather small, but it is packed and there's live music. This artisan cafe has a wonderful eclectic gathering of decor. Nothing fancy; just homey and fun. I had a wedge of The Rustica. Priced at $17 and accompanied with a tasty yet light side leaf salad, it was full of flavor. I guarantee it'll fill you up! 11 miles away from where I live, I will definitely be back!

Jennifer J.

Yelp
When you live in Bellingham, and are exposed to all of the amazing foodie deliciousness that our little city has come to offer, it's not always easy to pull yourself away for a breakfast road trip. But on a recent lazy Saturday morning this is just what the hubby and I did as we sauntered down to Edison for some destination dining at Tweets. I'd heard about this place, and salivated over the pics, for years, and was excited to check them out! The space is small with very kitschy decor. I loved it. You order at the counter from a limited (and kinda pricey) breakfast menu and your meal is prepared in their tiny open kitchen by a staff who is very friendly (especially with the locals, who are greeted with hugs as they come in the door). Seating is at a premium - best to get there early or go on a warm day when their outside patio is open. But then again, you don't go on a breakfast road trip if you're in a hurry to eat! Our corned beef hash with collard greens was excellent, and the farm-fresh sunny-side-up egg on top was pure heaven. I thought the price ($16) was a little steep, but I get they are using premium locally-sourced ingredients so I can't complain too loudly. I look forward to returning again and giving their Eggs Benny a go.

Rex D.

Yelp
This place needs to be a planned trip when living in Bellingham. Bow is a sleepy little town that has that charming throwback feeling when you drive down the main curvey street to get to Tweets. You look for the front entrance. If it's winter, everything seems to be closed down. You walk around to the side door and enter an eclectic little place that has the feeling of your grandmother's kitchen. The menu has a number of coffees to it. A small assortment of dishes to choose from. (Be forewarned, this place is not inexpensive, and cash or check only!) The items to look intriguing and the staff is very informative on how each dish tastes. I was guided to the Pork Salsa Verde. It is a more flavorful dish, as I was told. I must have been early. The town was quiet, as I waited, the crowds started coming in. The place got packed in under 15 minutes! Then my name was called and the server brought over the dish. The presentation is bold and colorful. A sunny side up fried egg tops this artful dish. Inside was is Verde sauce with fresh Radicchio and seasoned carrots. A yam mash, with a pork pot roast lightly seasoned. The taste did have a bit of a spicy kick to it. Almost a Peruvian flavor to it. The experience is a good one, and I can see why this place is so popular. *!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!* Please let me know if you like the review and click "Useful" Let me know what else you would like to see by clicking the "Compliment" button, any thoughts you have are always appreciated. Thank you for reading the review. See you on Yelp!

Elizabeth T.

Yelp
We used to come here and enjoyed the rich food and the quirky personnel... then one time a female worker was just swearing up and down while she worked behind the counter- a very angry person. Same day we noticed a cartoon taped to the cash register making fun of our religion. :( We haven't had the heart to go back.

Lisa V.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food! It's definitely worth the drive from Bellingham. The space is quaint and sweet, and the staff were great. We will definitely be back for another visit!

Dima H.

Yelp
We stopped here for brunch after a hike from Samish Overlook and had a wonderful time. The sun was shining and we got a seat at one of the picnic tables in the garden - the atmosphere was happy and relaxed. It felt great to "dine out" after all the time spent at home during the pandemic. We got the Porchetta sandwich with new potato salad and our friend got a Collard Greens and Polenta breakfast plate with eggs, avocado, and other fixings. The food was delicious. The Porchetta was meatier than I've had before, but very juicy with crispy edges. It came on a delicious bun with tons of aioli. The salad was a nice touch, with greens, cheese, and perfectly soft potatoes. The breakfast plate was very unique with so many flavors working in harmony. The portions are huge - big enough to share between two or maybe order three to share between four people. I now understand all the rave reviews I've heard of this place over the years! Can't wait to come back!

Henrik B.

Yelp
I have made a resolution. I will not go to tweets more than three days in one week. The fact that they are only open Friday through Sunday is a great help in keeping my resolve. The food is ranging from absolutely delicious to fantastic. All cooked from scratch using as much local ingredients as possible. You should try the signature Torta Rustica at least once. The menu changes daily, and if I can think of one shortfall is that there are not much choice for vegans. On the upside, if you like good coffee, they pull some of the best espresso shots in Skagit Valley. At least in my opinion. The Americano is just right. They also do nice cappuccinos, lattes, etc. If your idea of a coffee drink involves a milkshake with flavored syrups and a dash of espresso, though, it might not be your best choice. The staff is very nice and there is a friendly banter with customers from time to time. The kitchen is small, so when there is a rush of people the wait fur food can be long, but even at those times, it's worth it.

Laura L.

Yelp
Warm, cozy and inviting farm to table cafe in the heart of a 2-block artsy 100+ year old town.. Had never been to this area and even though it was a chilly day, there was plenty of activity here. I was with a group of 8 (family from various parts of the country) and everyone loved this little gem. We somehow got lucky and hit it while it was empty (!) we are ordered at the counter, then sat down and our coffees began arriving just in time for the droves of hungry people. There are several other restaurants in the area but from what I was told in the area, Tweets is the favorite..not that there is anything wrong with the other places..the decor is unique, tiny colorful birds and Japanese lanterns are streamed above your head... the food..menu changes often and is posted on a chalk board near the counter. Cash only (come prepared). Most entrees were under $15. Well worth it for delicious locally sourced and creative dishes. If you bring your dog, there is a patio on the side where they can chill and wait for you until you are ready to Continue your exploration of Edison. Very much enjoyed Tweets and visiting Edison and will Definitely come back soon!

Sherie T.

Yelp
I have NO idea why I have not made it here before since I live only about 11 miles away. I kept thinking this place is so small it would be difficult to get parking, table or service- WRONG! The place is cozy and fits more people than you would think in such a space. The flow is easy. But the main thing is the customer service and of course the food-is amazing!! Everyone there is very friendly and easy going. They appear to love what they do. Let's start with the coffee. I had almond milk mocha. You could not tell it was almond milk and not too sweet. Juuussstt right! The coffee was bold and not bitter. Truly a pleasure. I ordered the avocado toast which comes with sliced radishes, pickled red onions, soft boiled egg and the kicker- sweet beet hummus on the side. My heart and tastebuds were so happy! My husband had the pork belly breakfast that comes with an egg and the best cheddar biscuit you could ask for. Many people from Seattle were here today just to eat here. Great food and service makes me so happy! We will be back at least once a month now. We are committed! P.S. make sure you bring check or cash only.

Dillon T.

Yelp
My friend took me here and claimed it's "the best breakfast north of San Fran." I called BS. There's no way. Out here is middle of nowhere Edison, WA? HE IS RIGHT. I can write a super lengthy review, but that would take away from my shock and awe. If you are within 50 miles of Tweets, you go. You. Just. Go. Experience the best breakfast north of San Fran for yourself.

Jackie F.

Yelp
A friend and I ate here after driving up from the Seattle area to hike the Oyster Dome. I was so charmed by the atmosphere, with worn wooden tables, glasses of fresh tulips, antique mirrors on the wall, etc. I ordered a mocha, which was perfect, and the praline French toast, which was waaaaay too sweet for one person, so maybe that's a good shareable. Service was pleasant by PNW standards. Gripes: it's cash only (no airline miles -- boo!) and since this tiny place by its nature can't be heavily staffed, it took an uncomfortably long time to get my food. Also, the place can get packed, and when I worried to the cashier about finding a seat, she said we could sit outside (it was cold, windy, and drizzly out. Uh, no). Luckily there was one table open for us inside.

Rodrick H.

Yelp
I arrived a half hour after they closed. They still made me an iced coffee and told me to scram before I had to pay. Very rad move, Tweets!

Rachel H.

Yelp
A low-key farm to table feel to Tweets keeps us loving this place. If you haven't been to Edison (or Bow) Washington, move this to the top of your quaint, out of the way, adorable, one-horse towns in WA list. You can daytrip to Edison easily from Seattle on the weekend. Locals know that Edison and Bow are towns where artists have dug deep and created some interesting (and in Tweet's case delicious) establishments. Tweets is in line with the other unique and original businesses in tiny, quaint Edison. Its in a barn, has incredibly freshly made items, bright colors, artful presentation, and some tasty food. Its mainly got homebaked goods, quiche, sandwiches, expresso, entrees, homemade hibiscus coolers, etc. It reminds me of a perfect wine-country stop over, minus wine country. Its delightful to find a spot like this in such an out of the ordinary location. (Only open on weekends and only takes cash, so plan accordingly.) What's remarkable about this spot to me is its quirky and intriguing feel, its arty charm, and its food, seemingly fresh from the patch around the corner. You can thank me later.

Courtney C.

Yelp
Tweets has been my, and my friends', 'go-to' spot for lunch while in the Skagit area for birding, hiking and sightseeing. My dining partner's meal, the Rustica, had crust that was not edible. It tasted 'old'. My meal, the Pork Salsa Verde, was extremely salty. I'm not sure if there have been changes in kitchen staff but the quality was definitely not their usual.

Sue P.

Yelp
Little cute cafe, the food was surprising good. Supper yummy. Great service! Love it! Highly recommended! P.S they only take cash and check though. There is an ATM near by!

Evelyn A.

Yelp
Having dined in places like; C.I.A. at Greystone, The Millionaires Club top of the Columbia Tower in Seattle, Canlis, The Met, Kirsten's in La Conner, and Juanita Cafe just to name a few. I have to give Tweets a five star! The eclectic vibe matches the decor which is a perfect beginning of things yet to come. The large, white, mug of Joe? So, delicious, epecially, accompanied with a white, powdery, Mexican Wedding Cake which will soon cover you & your table top. But never fear, Charles and his team are absolutely delightful and very attentive. With great finesse and class he'll politely wipe away the mess and you'll have the pleasure of conversation too boot. No phone needed here! Next time; Blueberry Brioche with Lemon Curd center topped with handmade "whooping cream". Pork Verde was full of flavor, succulent, and very tender served with a Corn bread made with grits, infused with chesse. Had almost a pudding texture but stood up like a soldier amidst the Verde sauce, radiccio, and a medley of fermented/pickles, colorful delights. That meal was a party in my mouth! A Mother's Day Brunch that resonates still today. I will be back very soon.

MB H.

Yelp
This is an awesome place for brunch! The ambiance is local casual with great vibes. You will be able to taste the love and care that has gone into pairing and making their delicious dishes. They always use the freshest ingredients. The pastries are tasty too! My favorite is the Russian Tea Cake. My little boys however love their oatmeal cookie. The portion sizes are large so get close and start sharing. It does get busy but great things are worth the wait. The staff is amazing, friendly, and kind. Hugs! Mandy!!!

Yelp
The ham calzone was good and I'll get three meals out of it. The guy who took my order was a sob. Seemed like he could barely stand my presences. The answers to my questions were dripping with malice.

Yelp
Loved the quaint small town, loved Tweets! It was exactly what I needed after leaving the Skagit Casino! The food was fresh, coffee was hot and we lived every bite. The service was very friendly.

Yelp
I am very picky with flavorful food. I normally don't eat out and I don't have as exquisite food as most but I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there. Staff: Very nice and helpful, treats you like family. Food: VERY VERY good. It felt like a rainbow in my mouth and filled me up. Appearance: Cute and unique, definitely has that towny kind of feel but still feels rustically modern. Prices: The prices aren't too bad for the quality of food. Sure you pay a fair price but it's worth it when you eat the actual meal. I recommend.

Yelp
Oh, my! I adore the food here. Staff is always lovely. It's a good thing this place is all the way out in Bow or I would be broke eating here all the time. Oh and did I mention the coffee. Very good as well. I feel like it's my birthday every time I eat here because it's a party in my mouth! In the summer, I loved being able to have my small dogs with me outside while we ate. Very chill, relaxed environment. Some of the best food in the Skagit Valley for the price. The only bummer is they are just open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Yelp
We had the rare opportunity to come here on a Friday, since it's only open from Friday-Sunday and it's usually quite busy. I ordered their most popular dish - the shrimp and scallops with grits (I used it to sop up all the sauce from the shrimp...nothing was wasted!) radicchio, and fire-roasted tomatoes. It smelled incredible but I was disappointed that the taste was just great and not amazing. My bf ordered the second most popular dish - the frittata with artichoke and potato, with garden salad. We each liked our own better than the other person's meal, which was perfect! No FOMO here. We finished the meal by sharing their peanut butter and chocolate chip cookie. The cafe and the town that it's in is super quaint and old-timey. It was so lovely to get away.
