Love stopping by Twelve Triangles for a coffee and a pastry followed by a walk on the Prom. The staff there are super lovely and the pastries and bread are always of the highest quality.
The only criticism I have is the options available have continued to shrink year on year. The one I REALLY miss is the pistachio and bramble croissant. I think I'd go here literally twice as often if they brought it back!
Some other highlights I miss...Pistachio Cardamom knot, Twice baked Pain au choc, Pistachio Frangipanie & Sour Cherry Bear claw, Cruffins, etc.
I know businesses are feeling the squeeze--labour costs, energy costs, taxes etc. So I'm not blind to the challenges, but I suspect the cost saving on limiting variety of pastries is also limiting the quantity of customers and foot fall.
Just something to think about. Cheers!
