"Twelve Triangles, Portobello by Sarah Wardlaw. Twelve Triangles is a coffee, doughnut, and bakery heaven found on Portobello High Street. This delightful little shop first blessed Portobello High Street in 2016 when it opened after the success of its sister shop in Edinburgh. The joy in picking your bread, doughnut, or pastry from the shop window is both beautiful and dangerous. The journey of choosing the perfect looking doughnut for that Instagram shot, combined with the freedom of shoving as many pastries as you can into your brown paper bag is not for the weak-willed!Coffee at Twelve Triangles is provided by the excellent Williams and Johnson of Leith and the equally excellent Fortitude of Edinburgh, both fantastic local roasters. Alongside their home-baked breads and pastries, you’ll find spreads such as peanut butter and caramel, homemade jam, local farm eggs, and gorgeous tote bags to take it all home. You can thank me later."
