I'm absolutely thrilled with my experience at 1212! The concierge team, particularly Ms. Keiya "Keke" Kamora, Ms. Cookie, and Ms. Kim, are truly phenomenal. They go above and beyond to ensure that every resident feels welcome and supported. The maintenance team is also incredibly responsive and efficient. I've had a few minor issues with my apartment, but they've always addressed them promptly and effectively. It's a huge relief to know that I don't have to wait weeks for simple repairs, unlike my previous experience at 1205 Collections. Lastly, the leasing process was a bumpy road, but we got their eventually and thus far I have no issues yo report. Love our two bedrooms two bath apartment home so far! Overall, I'm so grateful to have found a community that truly prioritizes its residents' needs. The exceptional service and warm hospitality have made me feel right at home. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give 1212 ten stars if I could!

The staff in the rental office can be very curt and down right rude to you when speaking to one of them. Rudeness is not a beneficial professional practice, nor is fakeness.

Besides the constant smoking problem as mentioned by many other residents, this building is actually an affordable housing project, taking whoever is "qualified". You should get used to hearing your neighbor yell and argue at night through the thin walls, sometimes even on the balcony. Police, fire fighters and ambulances often visit this building, plus a group of panhandlers downstairs will become your long-term companions. Also, there were at least three shooting incidents happening in the close proximity during the past 8 months.

This building is brookfield's property and charges you extremely high utility fees, like $200+. The tenants in this area have rebelled and brought it to the media. I am looking to leave this fraud hole man y'all better stay away if you don't want troubles

Every weekend you will smell strong smoking fume diffused from the bathroom vent. The building management never took any action to effectively stop it! There are damp stains in hallways, and what is worse is that twelve12 forces all the renters to share the utility cost of common areas. If you can tolerate all these nonsenses, choose twelve12, good luck

Building has a terrible smoking problem. My neighbors on the 9th floor smoke so much that every single night smoke pours into my apartment through my bathroom from their apartment. The smell is disgusting. I have complained numerous times and the leasing office is unresponsive. From other reviews below and yelp reviews, it appears that this building does not enforce its no smoking policy, even though in the lease it states that there is a strict no smoking policy and smoking is grounds for an eviction.

You will be nickel and dimed excessively here - budget an extra $200+ for water and common area utiliies, not including your own utiltiies. I moved out due to the water company admitting to overcharging residents. Save up!
