My husband and I decided to check this place out on a whim and we ended up staying for hours we had so much fun! The food was delicious and the drinks were lots of fun. The game moderators helped us get started with game selection but once we were comfortable we went and tried out different things. The staff regularly checked in to see how we were. Everyone was so kind and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Great food, cocktails and ambience. Loved the vibe and had a great selection of board games and interactive things like the Pong table and skeeball machines. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Especially enjoyed the Professor Plum cocktail, spring pea hummus from the charcuterie board, and the 21 Burger.

Overall, a nice place to eat out and socialize through gaming with friends. They have a very large collection of what I would call family games. Being an avid gamer myself, I actually own several of the titles that they have in their library. I like the theme of the restaurant but have some reservations about how they are implementing it. My wife and I ate there last weekend and were told that you have to pay $5 per person for 2 hours of playing with any game you wish. So if 2 people wanted to play a game of Uno you would have to pay $10. For that amount of money you could just buy a copy of the Uno deck and play it anywhere anytime. I would suggest either lowering the price per person or just have a flat rate per game. Another idea would be to have a lower cost for the 1st 2 hours and then a higher cost after that. Right now the cost for 6 people to sit down and play a game would be $30 every 2 hours. I think some adjustment of the fees needs to be done. I would think the restaurant will make more of their money selling food and drinks. So why not encourage them to stay by having a more affordable cost to play there? Perhaps another idea would be to have some game themed special events to draw in patrons. Maybe have a monopoly game night and give out prizes for the best score. The restaurant has only been open for a short time, so hopefully they will overcome any growing pains and adjust things to increase the flow of patrons wishing to do some gaming once the novelty begins to fade.

From the moment this place opened, me and my husband have been going there for date nights, casual weekend, and even Valentine’s. We are board game geeks, so we go mainly to play. The first 3-4 times we just went to play games which is $5 p/p for 2 hours of play. More recently we’ve also been trying the food and OMG the chef goes nuts back there. What a talented guy! My husband’s favorite is the chicken sandwich with hot honey, I personally love the salads and cocktails. We didn’t love the birria grilled cheese though. After being there more than 10 times already, we have experienced solid service and quality. 5/5 would recommend for Board Game fans. My only gripes are: 1. THE ROUND TABLES 😭. Please please please swap out the round high tops for something more board-game friendly. We like heavy games and can seldom play them because we are a party of two, and always get stuck at a round high-top. We’ve tried asking for a booth or just a regular rectangular low table and have been accommodated sometimes, but not others. We had to play Ark Nova in a small rectangular one (see pic) 😂 And we feel like an inconvenience for asking… even though this is a board game place (??) and forget about playing AND eating at the same time! 2. Please please buy new games. The game library at Thirsty Dice (which is the same owner as 21P) is continuously growing and there’s heavy focus on new games or “games of the month” sorta thing where at 21P it seems more like an afterthought. I would love to see them engage with the Board Game community more and add new games every month. We stopped going recently because we’ve played everything that we could.

Customer service 10/10, cleanliness 10/10, atmosphere 10/10, drinks 100/10! After a quick stop and shop in suburban square I decided to wind down the rest of my afternoon with a drink, and 21 pops just so happened to be a few blocks away. I want to leave a special shoutout to bartender taty, her hand wasn’t too heavy but heavy enough to get me where I needed to go😅. Highly recommended!

I was so excited to be in town visiting & able to experience Twenty One Pips! I thought the Charcuterie Board was delicious, as was the Boardroom Burger! The cocktails were unique and really well balanced—not too sweet or too strong. I enjoyed the Raspberry Tart, and thought the Princess Peach was absolutely fabulous! Considering it was opening weekend, I was really impressed with how great the service was! Our server was warm, friendly, and attentive. Gametenders were a huge help and suggested interesting, fun games that were perfect for our group. I was also struck by how much fun the families around us were having, while playing games together. They were engaged with one another & not sitting silently, staring at devices. The entire experience really made for a fun evening, so different than just going out to eat! I’d love to see something similar in the Pittsburgh area!

This beautiful exciting space thrilled our gaming camaraderie! And the menu experience fed our cravings for upscale and delicious eats and drinks. I especially loved the Pinot Grigio and the mushroom pizza was delicious …we played code names and skee ball so fun!!! Sparked lots of bonding in our group!

Yelp
This place's last day will be December 22, Sunday. I finally came to visit the place and I see they took away the skeeball and video games I'd heard about. This place and Thirsty Dice have been trying to have nice specials and catered very well to a more mainstream crowd. Thirsty was also the first board game cafe to ever exist in Philadelphia. So I hope the owner made out okay- especially since he was able to open a second store. Once they started removing things, I wonder if it was more a matter of let's work with what we have to make as much as we can with the life that is left. No longer had full burgers on their menu. It is understandable. Hard to keep up. What would've happened if they started only w board games at their second location and then considered adding things along the way? Hard to say. Everything is hindsight now. 21 Pips and Thirsty were great contributions to Philadelphia but now there is well done all vegan and fresh fries of Queen and Rook and Bored and Brews conveniently located in University City near Drexel and Penn. I believe that it is and it seems that Philadelphia is not ready for more than two board game cafes. I am not sure how heavy an emphasis there was on card playing and various board game tournaments. Earlier, there was Basement Boardgame cafe, Queen and Rook, and Thirsty and Basement eventually did not survive. The food and alcohol I had was fine but I feel like I like some other things outside of this place are more unique as a self professed "foodie". Competition in the restaurant industry is so fierce presently.

Yelp
OK, John Taus has helped Twenty One Pips level up! Food is better, with several improvements and options for those avoiding gluten. The Buttermilk Chicken Bites were tasty and GF. Having a section or symbol for kid-favorite items on the menu could make it a tad easier for families. Would love more non-spicy and GF options but was glad to see some on the menu! We still get complaints from our son that Pong is gone but we are finding the good. The waiter was fantastic with attentive and timely service. He completely understood the assignment when we walked in with our son and said we needed to order sooner than later. Huge and clean space. The colorful, velvet couches add more charm to the space and it seems like a fun place to throw a private party. Our 9 yr old's game recs are currently: Boop and Abandon all Artichokes. Glad to see this space turn around. Makes a pretty fun night when you can dine, drink and play (and it's just a short walk to Lu and Aug's if you're looking for more desserts).

Yelp
Board game restaurants/bars are such a wholesome and fun way to spend time with friends and family. I've been here twice now and both times it's been great vibes. I also like the this place is pretty huge so you don't really have to worry about not being able to find a seat. They have a large selection of board games that range in difficulty depending on how much time you want to spend figuring out the rules! But there is a game tender to help you out if you need it. Docked a star mainly for the restaurant side of this place. The service was slow, one of the drinks I got was so strong it was practically undrinkable, and my group and I tried to order pizzas but they were all out :( the food we did end up getting was good though! I look forward to coming back here!

Yelp
I went to Twenty One Pips Sunday afternoon, meeting friends who are all board gamers. This is the second board game cafe run by this management group. The first is Thirsty Dice in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia. This location is structured more as a restaurant with board games rather than a cocktail lounge. There's high ceilings and a fun mezzanine level with a big video game. We settled in a large round table on the main level. We picked out a game only one of us vaguely remembered, so Alex came over and taught it. He did a great job. Service was fine, we had to go find our sever for the check. Zero problems separating the order. I got the fries with malt vinegar. Fries were nice snd crisp with soft centers. The others reported the Bavarian pretzel and the crab fries (with real crab, not just seasoning) were "good". Decent beer selection. It was nice to not be concerned about spills & food stains on the pieces. I read reviews from others calling out the service as lacking - servers seeming to disappear or ignore. I think though that they left us alone because we we playing a game. Interrupting game play is sometimes not received well. How do they know we're done? It's not easy. I would suggest to the management/ownership that they develop a signaling system for tables that are playing games to let them know the table needs something (more food, game play questions, checks). It could be as simple as a colored flag on a post. Change the flag to request a server. I would go back, though I wouldn't seek it out. Be prepared to be left alone to play your games and you'll have a good experience.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this gem and it was great. It's a cute restaurant with comfort food. It stays open late. You can also play board games after eating your food. Service was good. Our waitress was attentive. Parking can be challenging. There's meter parking.... Luckily we found a close spot.

Yelp
Wanted to love this place, the idea of having games is great & so unique! However, the food was subpar to say the least, and the service was awful. We were 1 of 3 parties in the restaurant, and there was plenty of staff, so we were truly complexed why it was so bad. Additionally, we paid $28 for a "gaming fee" for 4 people. This was very unclearly advertised as we thought it was only for people not dining in the restaurant. The 1 game we chose to play had missing pieces and food stains on the board. It was honestly gross. Would not recommend

Yelp
Five stars for the gaming experience, drinks, and other activities. But three stars for the food so curving in between. When I first heard that Thirsty Dice was opening a larger gaming cafe across the street from me, I was all in and ready to give it a visit. Rather than do a Thirsty Dice 2.0 in a bigger space, they went all-in with even more additions to their usual game space, like a full dining room, a bar space, an upstairs lounge, an arcade console that plays upwards of 200+ games, a pong table, and skeeball!!! Twenty-One Pips is aptly named for the number of dots that appear on a regular dice, and I do appreciate the amount of museum-grade gaming memorabilia and unique art that they added to the event space. Toss in the usual gaming space, adult beverages, food, and cafe space that brews Herman's Coffee that Thirsty Dice is known for; and you have a welcome addition to Ardmore. Gaming is the main attraction as always here, and $5 per person for access to all the board games that they have for a couple of hours is perfectly reasonable. Even more so when you factor in help from a game master, access to all the video games, and skeeball. But Twenty-One Pips has added in even more events like karaoke every Monday, a weekly happy hour, a youth D&D night, and occasional things like a Family Feud night. The one thing that Twenty-One Pips really comes up short on is the food menu, not so much for the quality but because it comes up short compared to other bars and restaurants in the area. It's kind of hard to justify paying $17-18 for a smash burger when nearby spots like McCloskey's, Tired Hands, and Ripplewood offer up non-smashed burger patties with different toppings for either less or within a similar price point. The burger isn't the only item where this is an issue. Another flaw is outside of some of the snacks and shareables, there really isn't that much of a food menu that feels gaming-friendly. But toss in a great cocktail menu alongside a better-than-decent rotating tap beer list on top of the gaming and events, and overall you have the perfect addition to Ardmore nightlife!

Yelp
A unique, fun new dining addition to the mainline. $5 per person gives you access to all their games for 2 hours. So many options in how you can spend your time here - just play, just eat, eat/drink while playing, sip some coffee from the cafe, hang at the bar, etc. There are "game tenders" to help your party find new games to try and explain the rules. They seem pretty joyful and happy to help! We chose to eat here but not play since we had our 2 year old with us (sidenote - they do have family games for ages 3+). The food here is definitely overpriced for what you're getting - the average entree here hovers around $30. I ordered mussels and the sauce/broth was partially solidified in some areas, showing that the sauce was definitely not freshly made and likely sitting around for a long time. Unacceptable for ~$25 mussels in my opinion. Fries were inedibly soggy and vegetables were overly salted. Food service was also extremely slow and inattentive. It was difficult to flag down our server because she was usually spending her time staring at the abnormally tiny kitchen window waiting for the food to come out. Overall I'd recommend to bring your family and friends here if you're into games, but if you're just looking to eat without playing, this place is not worth it.

Yelp
We came here on a chilly winter night and let me tell you it is the ideal and dreamiest spot to spend a cold night with friends. It gives off that cozy library on a snowy night vibe. We played 3 games that game master Dan suggested and loved them all!! We had so much fun I was yelling at one point. We got drinks and they were great and so was the pub pretzel we ordered. It was hot and fresh. They have a nice menu and non alcoholic menu too so it was perfect for my baby cousin to come along with us! We ended up getting charged for a drink we didn't get, I called the restaurant to see about a refund and they happily did so RIGHT away and apologized and even told us to come in again and receive a free round on them! Matt was helpful and so kind on the phone. We will definitely be back. Thank you twenty one pips

Yelp
I went to this spot for my bestie's birthday. I didn't read what she sent about the place ahead of time so I had no idea what to expect. Twenty one Pips is a cute spot to bring your family or friends to where you can enjoy good food and even play some games. The games they offer are endless. We didn't play any games but we checked out the collection before we left. Service was great and our server was very attentive. The food was just okay. If you don't enjoy the idea of little ones running around while you're eating you may want to go at a later time. It's an extremely family friendly place.
google avatar

Gregory M.

Yelp
The food was unfortunately very mediocre, but the drinks were delicious. The ambiance is what really gets you IF you appreciate ambience and experience. There are plenty of games to choose from for adults and children.
google avatar

Jenna M.

Yelp
21 Pips is one of the best bar concepts in my opinion! You can eat, drink, and play games in one spot. Excellent cocktail menu. Food is delicious. Going here can be an expensive experience because the menu is a bit pricey, plus if you want to play games there is a price per person to play as many games as you want for 2 hours. They have employees who can recommend games to you and teach you how to play which is so nice. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
google avatar

Evany W.

Yelp
This place has a very open and modern vibe. I love that it's a gaming Cafe and restaurant. The food was really good. We got Mac and cheese, mushroom Flatbread, and two burgers. All were really good and I liked the salad and fries. My favorite would be the London Fog I got. Came in a big mug and wasn't too sweet. We were given a good explanation of how everything worked and the service was great. Very friendly. They even have staff to specifically help you with the games.

Yelp
What a gem! I was pleasantly happy to see that there was live music during my time at this board game cafe. Great drinks, tasty fries, very decent board games! I liked the service, and board game expert really helped us out to find the perfect game to play. Everything was reasonably priced, and I know I'll be coming back soon!

Yelp
Food very mediocre Staff pretty clueless Game tender was good! Over priced Maybe they're just getting their sea legs but they need to make this place more FUN!!
google avatar

Mariangela S.

Yelp
This place was so great. Great food and drinks and then all the games!! So many games! I took my husband and son who was home for the holidays and we had the best time! I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a fun spot to hang out and connect with your friends or family.

Yelp
Had a great night at the new Twenty One Pips in Ardmore. Parking is easy - lots of parking lots and garages all over the area. Free parking after 6pm as well. Twenty One Pips is a board game and restaurant concept. Spend a night playing games and enjoying great food. It's the newest location by the same people that own Thirsty Dice in Philly, which I also like. I think Twenty One Pips has a slightly more upscale feel to it, and the food and drink menu reflects that as well. With a large fame library, you're sure to find cool new games your group hasn't tried yet. Staff can teach you how to play the games as well, which is great for those who don't like reading directions, lol! They have a variety of games, from simple ones that don't require a ton of thinking, to more difficult ones. Their food menu was impressive too. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they offered a cocktail (raspberry tart) made with a vegan alternative to egg white. And, they also have a vegan spaghetti and meatballs dish as well. Overall I enjoyed my visit and will be back sometime soon!

Yelp
Really cute concept restaurant. All kinds of games for singles, couples and family. Walked with no reservation and sat at the bar. It was clearly very busy. The bartender/mixologist was very responsive and helped us to choose great cocktails. I had the Game Changer and it was flavorful smokey and gently spiced. My dinner partner had the Raspberry Tart and loved it. We weren't super hungry and so we ordered 3 item cheese board and it was a disappointment. Three strips of smoked trout. So skip the smoked trout because honestly it's not enough for one person to snack on. The beers were the kind out of a jar that sits on shelves of super markets for months. I was expecting the fresh roasted or brined beets. Anyway we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the mixologist; she was simply amazing to watch in action. Oh yeah....there is even skee ball.
google avatar

Lois R.

Yelp
Treated my grandson to an afternoon of gaming yesterday and we had a good time. He got to play two games that were new to him. We shared an order of pub fries which were very good but a lot of food for 2 people to snack on. The two-tops are small if you want to play games and eat. The service was the right amount of attentive. I liked the displays of dice and the artwork of kids playing. We will be back when schedules allow.

Lauren A.

Yelp
Food is tasty! They are changing up the menu and all of the new items are just delicious, especially the sliders, the honey cake and the charcuterie board!! PLENTY of awesome games to play and the bartender is friggin awesome - lots of drinks to choose from!!! Can't wait to come back!!
google avatar

Lemmonhead B.

Yelp
Fun spot if you like board games. Cornhole boards were packed away under the stairs and it seemed inappropriate to break them out. No dart boards. They hand a fun three-dimensional PONG game. Drinks are crazy expensive. The food is good.
google avatar

Taylor K.

Yelp
A fun spot to have dinner, drinks and play some games if you wish in the Ardmore area. Nice set up for groups and the service was very engaging through our night. All of the food was also very good and portions were decent for the price. Recommend the chili corn dip appetizer, the Mac and cheese, and the nashville hot chicken sandwich. Really liked that you can choose fries or salad as a side to the sandwiches and they let you choose from any of the salad options on the menu (and you can upgrade your fries to Chesapeake fries which was very tempting!).

Melissa C.

Yelp
honestly had so much fun. played a game of life with my roommate and had the best espresso martini of my life. Chrissy the bartender was so helpful, kind, and so friendly. She made the best espresso martini

Yelp
We walked in at 5:30pm with our one year old, the place had at least 20 tables open and we were told that we could sit at the bar or lounge area. That they couldn't accommodate us with a table. Terrible service and also the place smelled awful!
google avatar

Charlie E.

Yelp
A nice surprise, this bar is the definition of hipster lol. EXCELLENT food here, the best in Ardmore. The charcuterie comes with hot honey sauce which pairs so well. Not a fan of the carrots. The nashville hot chicken was the best in the area. The fries were extra crispy and went well with the hot honey. The brookie was EXCELLENT too. Not a fan of the cocktails, but they were interesting atleast. The games are pretty entertaining. The pong table was a highlught, as was "girl talk" jenga. Great service too. Will be back soon, the food here is really something else.

Vanessa M.

Yelp
I highly recommend 21 Pips for kids and adults who love games and good food. My kids (ages 4 and 7) constantly ask to go! The people who work there are so kind and have played games with one of my kids so that the rest of the table can play a different game. They couldn't be nicer there. It is the perfect thing to do with the family during the heatwave or anytime that you are looking for something fun to do!
google avatar

Erik N.

Yelp
Great environment! Great bar! Great food! Cool games. I visited Philly from California and went here with friends. We came for lunch and stayed through dinner. Fabulous cocktails made by Bailey! Great service by Sam, Natalie and Paige. Gametenders Dean & Jeremy we're super cool.

Yelp
So I went with 4 of my coworkers It was awesome. Our server Alex was the greatest. So much fun very knowledgeable and we will definitely come again especially if we can get Alex as a server.

Catriona C.

Yelp
First time visiting. I came with some girlfriends to celebrate my birthday and as I am a big game board person this sounded perfect. The restaurant was pretty quiet, which makes sense because it was a tuesday night but the service was very slow. The food was really good!! I got the PEP sandwich which I really enjoyed. My friend got the corn dippers which did not sit well in her stomach. We played catan and it is a great concept for the restaurant. I am curious how they keep the games sanitary though. Anyway definitely a place worth checking out, I recommend coming during happy hour though (4-5:30) as the regularly priced drinks are quite expensive.

Gabrielle T.

Yelp
I came to this place with my coworkers and we had a great time! I enjoyed my 21 burger and my coworkers liked their meals (chicken pips, hot Nashville, and thrilled cheese). The drinks were good and I liked that they also had a wide selection of cafe drinks available. The venue is really spacious and cozy at the same time, and there is a large selection of games. We played two different games during our time here and it was fun to discover something new (Hues & Cues was really fun). Our server Alex was incredible. He was very helpful and had good food recommendations. He had a lot of knowledge on the board games and made sure to check on us every so often. My only critique is that it seemed that the place was a bit understaffed. It seemed Alex was doing multiple jobs besides being a server. Our table really hoped that he was getting paid well for all of his extra work. The kitchen also forgot to add something to my friend's meal and he kindly took off the price for playing games without us asking him to. In all, I would definitely recommend this place to have a fun gathering at. We came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was not too busy. My only worry is if the staff could handle the work if we came in during a busier time. Hoping that these are just some kinks this new business is working out and I look forward to returning soon!

Janet J.

Yelp
I went to horrible restaurant the other day with a friend. The food was horrible! i could hear the kitchen staff cursing from our seats all the way in the corner. Our waitress, Madison, was amazing and kept checking in even when she saw my friend and I become upset over the food and the other staff members. The place needs to get their shit together before they lose their business like Jada Pinkett Smith lost the respect of America!
google avatar

Mark B.

Yelp
Went here because it was a newer place. I gave it a few months to work out the kinks, as you should with a newer place...tried the corn dip. Was good but the chips were inedible. They felt like they were in the fryer for 3 hours. I thought I chipped a tooth. They should try corn chips instead of flour tortillas next time. My guest and I each had burgers next. They were ok...Gouda Mornay was broken and grainy and needed salt. I'm giving it 2 stars because I like the idea. I just hope they figure out the kitchen. This area needs high quality for the price they charge.

Andrew M.

Yelp
Cool spot for a larger party (10+) or for 1 on 1. Tougher to do if just trying to catch up with some friends. You end up talking and not playing games. Easy comfort food and decent whiskey list especially for PA. The staff working there busts their butt for you, they just seem a little short-staffed.
google avatar

Anon G.

Yelp
Shoutout to the manager, she was the best! There was a ~situation~ in which a child shattered glass all over me and my clothes. The manger promptly arrived and made sure I was ok and helped me pick glass off myself. I won't get further into my issues with the other family, but I really appreciated the managers attention in helping me and apologizing, though not her fault by any means. I will say there is a lack of staff and slow service, but I understand there's maybe some turnover. They were out of all the mocktails except 2 which made me sad bc I cannot drink. But they do have a ton of options so on a different day when they're fully stocked, it's great for non drinkers! The food was actually really good as well. Loved the selection of games as well. Aesthetic is cute. Although my total experience recently was not a good one, I don't hold it against the business. I suggest maybe more staff? And stocked ingredients? Nonetheless, I will likely return and hope to not be seated near children to avoid further injury to myself
google avatar

Linda Q.

Yelp
Went here for the first time on Friday. Really cool place and vibe. Good size food portion. I had the hummus and it was very food. For $7 you can play the games. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Met a relative for lunch here with two children today. The service was excruciatingly slow and inattentive for food and drink. Coffee and sodas took twenty minutes to arrive after the order was placed. They said they were brewing coffee fresh which was nice but them the sodas didn't come out until ten minutes after coffee and we had asked again. Staff stood at the bar chatting and eating when we were literally waving at them to come over to get their attention for help. Three times we had to get up to physically go get service. One runner dropped off food (finally) and when asked for ketchup and a spoon proceeded to go over to the bar area and begin eating and chatting with other staff and never returned. It took so long to get a spoon my grits had congealed. One server was asked for soda refills and my children could see her standing at the bar chatting with a coworker while literally holding their drinks. It took so long I got up and took the drinks out of her hand bar side. There is simply no sense of urgency among the staff beyond one young lady that sat us and was friendly about the games. I was so embarrassed to have suggested this place to my relative to meet us as a central point on a far drive. When we checked out I noticed that the game fee had been comped but at no time did a manger come to speak to us about the service that was so obviously bad that they comped part of the check with out mentioning it. The food was mediocre and the protein sizes were small for the cost. We had the chicken and grits- a huge pool of cold grits with a small piece of fried chicken. The advertised spice was not present. The veggie sandwich was sloppy and served with a green leaf lettuce salad. The kids burger came with broken, soggy fries and the requested lettuce on it was purple and said child wouldn't eat it. Not sure why the kitchen would put purple lettuce on a child's meal when green leaf was available. Other child had a side of French toast which was 1.5 slices of bread for six dollars. Had to ask for syrup as it wasn't served with the dish. Side of homefries for $4 was the best part of the meal and they were under seasoned.

Yelp
Went there with some friends and had a great time! Drinks were great. Really loved the spice bag.

Yelp
I wish negative stars was an option. Food is horrible. The mac and cheese just tasted like salt and whatever spices were laying around. Other entrees were mediocre at best.

Yelp
Good food and drinks the service however was really bad. They had a least 10 workers on the floor but no one came up to us to check in. I would have ordered more food if someone would have come by. We had to chase down a server any time we wanted anything. I'm perplexed how there can be so many workers yet such bad service.

Yelp
I was very excited to try Twenty One Pips. Especially since I have a kid and I wanted an environment where it's kid friendly and I didn't have to keep a hawk eye on my kid. For this reason, 21 Pips delivered. My disappointment was with how expensive EVERYTHING was. They even charge you to play the board games, which would be fine, if they let you know ahead of time. Expect everything to be up charged. Our waitress was phenomenal. It's a fun place to bring the kids, just make sure your pockets are full.

Yelp
Sadly editing my review because they took almost EVERYTHING vegan off the menu. We loved this place. The beyond biscuits and gravy were sooooo good. They also used the have a vegan pancake option. So disappointing!

Yelp
First visit, just opened 1 week ago. 5 stars for the concept/novelty/atmosphere 4 stars for drinks 3.5 stars for food This place offers hundreds of board games with recs by a "gametender" depending on your interests. also have 2 skeeball lanes and an awesome atari pong 2 person game. It's $5 per person for a "library pass" for 2 hours of unlimited game play. We enjoyed the two games we played which were new to us. They had a nice assortment of cocktails, beers, and wines by glass. My one complaint is that you had to look at the server's device to see the beer list. Would recommend a QR code or posting to Unatppd. The menu aims for high end gastro pub. Flatbreads and 1/2 chicken were ok but not great. Burger and fries were good. and the "brookie" cast iron dessert was decadent and good with a scoop of ice cream. Nice kids menu. In future, would love a foosball and pool table. Overall, it adds up a to be a fun, but somewhat pricey, experience. Think of it as paying for dinner + your entertainment/event for the evening. Our family had fun

Yelp
Amazing family friendly ambiance and great food. The burger was delicious and blew away our expectations. The appetizer board was also a hit- especially eggplant, hummus, and smoked trout. The staff was also pleasant and attentive. Highly recommend!

Yelp
It is the first time we gathered at this place. It is nicely designed and quite busy on a Wednesday night. The staff was friendly and offered different games for our group. Food is okay, typical American. Mocktail @$8 is a good choice for people who prefer non-alcohols. I would rate it 5 stars if the waiter/waitress could serve food sooner. We generally waited 20 mins or longer for water, drinks, napkin or anything else. Waitress is obviously overwhelmed and cannot serve in time.

Yelp
If you want to pay $22 for one shot of Patron, this is the place to go. When ordering at the bar, asking for a well drink, the bartender said no, we had to choose between Patron and Don Julio without mentioning any prices. We were told that the only time for a reservation was 9PM however when we arrived, there were barely any customers. This was true for the rest of the night (we were there on a Friday night...) Food was subpar, some drinks were decent, and they charge extra for a side salad when the menu shows no indicator of an up-charge. Our waitress did try to compensate for the lack of communication about the price of the Patron by giving our group a couple vouchers for coffee and a library pass. Although we appreciated the effort, it certainly did not make up for the overall disappointing experience. The game selection was good and the game tender was friendly and knowledgeable however, I recommend just staying home and having a game night with friends. We will not be coming back.

Yelp
This experience here has been one of my most disappointing times ever in my life eating out. Horrible food choices. Flatbread but no pizza?! I can clearly see that the kitchen looks super small so it takes what felt like forever for my food to finally be made. The drinks taste watered down and are insanely overpriced. And finally, $5 per person on top of whatever we order goes to us playing games? Are you serious?! This felt like a rip-off. Seriously, don't waste your money guys.

Yelp
On the outside in this place looks like a nice place to support. Let me be the first one to tell you it isn't. Everything is a facade. Management treats there employees like shit. It is so unorganized and they don't have enough staff and when it's crowded they are running around like chickens with there heads cut off because the servers and support are overwhelmed with the volume of people coming in. Sometimes you will see managers and the owner help run food not because they want to give good service but because they are cheap and only hire enough workers to barely get the job done. They also do not want to pay there workers fairly and that's why so many people quit this job or walk out during the shift. They run a super shady company and only want a certain type of people working here. They talk to the workers disrespectfully and put on a fake smile for everybody else in the restaurant. People don't leave because they have better jobs they leave because it is intolerable to work here and deal with the management. I would look into the past employees that have worked here and why so many people get hired so fast and leave so fast here it's an unfair working environment with unfair management and unfair pay. If you support these people you are supporting terrible pay and terrible working conditions And a money hungry management team. I feel bad for the next set of workers or whoever applies here they will smile in your face and talk about you later. If you're thinking about working here don't. Run run fast.

Yelp
So disappointed! First and last time here! Food was not good, service was mediocre at best, and it's expensive as all get out! $7/per person is outrageous for a library pass and then one of the boards was missing from the game we chose. I would rather bring my own game somewhere and have more selections available.
