Very fresh and delicious tasting sweet treats hidden in Miami Springs. This was our first time trying this bakery and it was a nice surprise . We were greeted by the owner and she answered all of my allergen questions and double checked ingredients. Everything is fresh and made daily and the cupcakes we took to go were mouth watering . When I needed party favors for my son’s engagement party, I knew that Twice as Sweet would be able to help. Liz brought my ideas for the “Perfect Pair” theme to life. The cookies were beautifully baked and tasted delicious. Twice as Sweet never disappoints. Thank you!

When I needed Mexican-themed desserts for a work party I knew exactly who to call because everything at Twice as Sweet is the best. The tres leches was so delicious everyone loved it & kept coming back for more. They were served in the cutest cups with lids to keep them fresh. I used Twice as Sweet for a friend’s elephant themed baby shower. I showed Elizabeth pictures of what we wanted for the chocolate covered Oreos and cake pops. They did such an amazing job with both items. The Oreos looked too pretty to eat, but they were eaten and were delicious. The red velvet pops were also done beautifully and tasted great. I highly recommend them because their work is beautiful, it taste delicious and they provide excellent customer service.

Elizabeth the owner made an amazing cake for my husband's airport retirement party and what an amazing response from all the partygoers. Everyone actually thought it was just a centerpiece but it was an actual cake that is how realistic the cake looked like an actual piece of luggage. All the guests were amazed! And the flavor was just as perfect. The owner is really nice and so willing to accommodate. They're expanding their menu and updating shop, so you may have to ask what's new. Great service and communication at all times.

This is a small business that has cupcakes, sweets, etc. the place is very clean and has a cozy vibe. I picked up pastelito papi guava and mango pastelitos today. They were so good. Want to go back and get some cupcakes.

Elizabeth has become my go to girl for all my cakes. Twice as Sweet is amazing. Her customer service is top notch. Every time I tell her my idea she makes it even better than I can imagine. This cake was cookies and cream with Oreo filling. Highly recommend. These are all different cakes she has done for me.

I had to get a cake last minute and their strawberry and lemon cake was hit!!! If you need sweets, twice as sweet is definitely the place to go.

Once she locks you in as a repeat customer you wont get her best work, nor any ounce of professionalism. I personally ate part of the cake that Brittany Baldwin posted about in her review and can attest to the fact that the cake was trash. It was stored the same way as the other two cakes we purchased from here, but was of far worst quality. The owner even admitted that she used a new ingredient that may have caused the issue we experienced and OFFERED a refund but she'd rather lie and send petty texts than answer the phone to speak to a concerned customer. Save your time and money. Go somewhere else where you can CONSISTENTLY get great cakes and customer service. Update: The owner doesn't get it. she keep stating we ordered from her before and enjoyed our orders like that changes the fact that our order this time was trash and the customer service was worst. She clearly cant take Honest feedback. consistency is the key!

I needed a custom cake for my husband's Bourbon & Cigar themed birthday party and had viewed all the beautiful cakes on the Twice as Sweet website. I provided a few ideas of what I had in mind to Liz and was not disappointed with the final result! It was exactly what I wanted. The cake looked like a Bourbon barrel with cigars around it, topped with a nice bottle of bourbon. Some of my guests didn't even realize it was a cake, but thought it was a beautiful decoration instead! The cake was very moist, half lemon and half vanilla with lemon curd filling. My guests who typically do not like cake, loved this one! I highly recommend Twice as Sweet for special occasions and will definitely order again for my next event. Thank you Liz!

I stopped here Friday to pick up some sweets for a quick gift, and can definitely see this place being a threat to my diet :) The owner, Liz, was super pleasant even though during my first visit I came in almost at closing time. Since I didn't know what to get, I purchased myself a raspberry one which I really liked. The crust had just the right amount of crisp and the filling was perfectly sweet; I could even make a few fruit pieces. Anyway, the owner packed an assortment of flavors for my gift that included dulce de leche, and vanilla and the recipients loved it. After checking their FB, I saw they also make doggie friendly cakes and ordered one for Luna's next pawty. I was able to coordinate the order thru their messenger page and on the phone. Liz called that Monday to confirm my order and take my very reasonable deposit (full fee) over the phone, and confirmed a pickup time. The cake was ready when promised, and I even ended up ordering another macaroon (to my defense, I just came from spinning:) Since the cake was doggy safe, we figured the ingredients were even better quality so myself and a few other guests enjoyed the carrot cake flavor, with hints of peanut better and a cream cheese meringue. It also had a few doggie biscuits as garnish and as a "frame" for the cake. (Those we just left to the four-legged guests!) My princess Luna, the party hostess and the other pups also certainly enjoyed it.

Excellent cake decorations and taste! I recently moved to the area and always like to support local shops. I trying wish I had known about Twice as Sweet before, it is a great place to buy your special treats. My daughters first birthday cake and smash cupcake were amazing!!!

Absolutely loved the red velvet cupcake I had. I arrived pretty late, 30 min to closing & the cupcake tasted pretty fresh & was super moist. My kids enjoyed their chocolate cupcakes & although I love chocolate too, I preferred the red velvet one. I also tried a macaron for the first time ever...not what I expected lol Let's talk service. The owner is absolutely amazing. She was so nice and you can tell she genuinely cares about her business. I will be passing by again for cupcakes and quotes on birthday cakes. Note: the minimum for cards is $5. And yes, you can park in front of the business ;)

When she hits, she hits, but when she misses, she MISSES BIG! And this time, she missed HUGE. And to top it off, the unprofessionalism with which she addresses customer concerns respectfully raised to her is unheard of. Don't make the mistake of disregarding the negative reviews you see here. They're 100% a true reflection of how this person conducts business. I utilized Twice As Sweet to make my husband's groom's cake for our wedding back in June 2022. The cake cake out great, so I placed a cupcake order in January 2023 for my birthday which was great as well. For our 1 year wedding anniversary, I reached out to have a cake made June 2023, and unfortunately this was a terrible experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone. The cake was extremely dry, crumbly, and kept falling apart. It was so bad that we ended up throwing the cake away after just 2 days. Honestly, our wedding cake top that was in our freezer for a year was far more moist and edible than the cake I'd just purchased from Twice Sweet. Because I'd had 2 positive past experiences with cakes from this provider and genuinely wanted to share feedback to benefit the owner, I respectfully reached out to inform her of the issues just in case she used a different product or procedure that may have caused this change. She notified me that she added a new product to enhance moisture that may have been the cause of the trouble. This vendor then replied "I can offer you a refund. I'm sorry it was dry," which I thought was noble of her in terms of customer service because I didn't ask for a refund. My intention was simply to share helpful feedback and she could take it or leave it. Given the fact that we barely got to eat any of the nearly $100 cake before throwing it out, I agreed to take her up on the refund request and asked if I should pick it up or if it would come via chashapp, to which she replied "Cashapp." Several days passed and I didn't receive any follow up or see the refund come through, so I sent a request via cashapp. It was immediately declined and I received a text saying she could only offer me a 50% refund because the cake would need to be returned for a full refund. When I texted this vendor initially about the issues with the cake, I still had it in my trash and would've happily pulled it out and brought it to her if she stated that was the refund policy. In fact, i asked if i needed to come in person to receive my refund and she said no. I followed up with a call and text asking why this was not stated when SHE OFFERED me a refund, as I would've happily brought the cake back. Of course, no response or answer. She's also now saying the refund needs to come through zelle or vendor when she originally said it would come through cashapp as that's the method I used to pay. Now I see why she didn't respond to anything. She's clearly more concerned with taking people's money than delivering quality customer service AND quality cakes to loyal customers. At the very least, she could've offered to remake the cake (if not issuing a full refund), but she didn't even do that. This recent experience s such a shame because I've referred this vendor to several coworkers and friends getting married, and i was planning to have a cake made for my husband's birthday in August. I'll definitely resend those recommendations and encourage anyone considering ordering from this provider to beware. Lack of integrity and professionalism.

I'm a very picky person for my birthday cakes and was afraid because I didn't know them but I had a great experience from the beginning, I didn't have a picture but talking to Jose , he helped me with the design and was able to do exactly what I had on my mind. Not only the cake was beautiful it was delicious!

Purchased 2 dozen cupcakes for my sons PK4 class and the kids loved them. The teacher said this was the first time she saw the kids really eat the cupcakes. The majority of the time the little ones would thrown them away. To pass a 4 year olds test really says something. I highly recommend this bakery and look forward to many future orders. Delicious!! Delicious cake! Ordered a custom blue velvet cake for my bay shower and it was a big hit. Everyone took a piece home with them. The cake was just right, not overly sweet, soft and fresh! The team was able to make my order with just a weeks notice. Really appreciate it and enjoyed it very much.

Stumbled upon this small little sweet shop today. Of all the time I've been coming to Miami Springs I had unfortunately failed to see them. Anyways, I walked in and was greeted with a great attitude from the woman behind the counter who was very pleasant and helpful. She told me she had brownies and I immediately said yes. The brownie was a GREAT size and $3 value. I thought it was worth every penny, it was moist without being undercooked and properly baked without being too dry. It tasted fresh and made with good ingredients. I will keep Twice as sweet in mind when people ask me and whenever I am in the area craving something sweet. I personally believe the best food comes from the smallest places. Twice as sweet is not an exception. Make sure to check it out!

This is the best place for birthday cakes cake pops and cupcakes that look and taste equally good especially for children red velvet is our personal favorite flavor. Reasonable prices. The owner Elizabeth is sweet like sugar and accommodating!

Speaking from an experience last year, the orders for my chocolate cake were not followed. Her cake sizing is inconsistent. She refused to remake the cake. She told me I could have 25% or some random number off my next purchase. I enjoyed her previous work but her insensitivity turned me off, so I haven't been back since then. It's unfortunate because when she is on the ball, her cakes are amazing. But when she misses, it's bad.

Love all of their items. Owner could not be nicer. Small business like this deserve to be spotlighted more often. Their cakes are delicious and all of the staff is very accommodating. If you are by Miami Springs, stop by! It's really worth it.

Twice as Sweet Bakery is quaintly nestled in the storybook town of Miami Springs, FL. They offer an array of unique baked goods. Not only is everything they sell delicious; everything is made with quality and love. The staff is lovely, professional and easy to work with. I had the opportunity to work with them for my mother's 60th birthday cake. The cake they produced was well above my expectations. It was not only beautiful (picture included) but everyone raved about its flavor. I highly recommend Twice as Sweet Bakery to anyone reading this. If you're in Miami, please go check them out! We got the most amazing Sesame Street cupcakes with all of the characters and an individual Elmo cake for my daughter's first birthday. Not only did they look perfect but they tasted amazing. Also they made the main cake dairy free and it was light and fluffy and delicious. Also the mini cupcakes were all tasty and had tiny bits of cookies on the bottom. Each of the characters were exactly like the cartoon. All of my guests loved it! I highly recommend this bakery to anyone! Update Last year Twice as Sweet made a gorgeous Elmo cake for my daughter's birthday. This year I had to go back to see what she can do with Moana. The cake and cupcakes were delicious and beautiful! We came up with different themes for the cupcakes inspired by the movie and she even made gorgeous little shells and flowers that were a perfect touch on the cupcakes. Also there were shiny gold cupcakes inspired by the crab Tamatoa in the movie. The main cake came out great with an ocean and character theme. Lots of great flavor for the cupcakes and main cake. Also all dairy free since my daughter can't eat dairy. They also made heart of Tefiti chocolate covered Oreos that were a huge hit! Highly recommend this bakery!

I contacted Twice as sweet with my idea for a birthday cake for my birthday. They were able to get me exactly what I wanted which was an iron man cake with s'mores filling. It was delish! I also had them deliver the cake to us and they were right on time. Thank you so much twice as sweet !

This is a little gem in Miami Springs! With treats from brownies to cake pops to cupcakes they are one you must stop at! The owner and employees are super kind and make excellent cake! I had been wanting to try this bakery for a long time now since it's in my hometown of Miami Springs and close & convenient....Finally, as a last minute idea, (and ANY reason NOT to have to get a Publix cake) I stopped by on my way home from work to see if I could get a birthday cake for my husband for that evening. When I got there, they were out of birthday cakes but the owner said she had one small one in the back that wasn't frosted or decorated yet. Even though it was the end of the day and they were wanting to go home, they said they could stay and frost it and decorate it for me. She asked what my husband liked so that she could make it customized for him and since he likes Harley's, she decorated the cake with the signature orange and black colors of Harley Davidson. I have to say that the cake being absolutely delicious was expected but the amazing customer service, the willingness to go above and beyond to make the cake "special" and the upbeat, happy attitude of the staff there just made the experience PERFECT! I will definitely be a repeat customer at Twice as Sweet. Cakes are fresh & delicious....staff happy and willing to go above and beyond. My husband LOVED the cake!!!! Thank you Twice As Sweet for saving the day and helping make his birthday special.
