How Safe Are Fall Activities like Apple Picking During COVID-19? - Eater

"In the initial months of the COVID-19 pandemic, the outpouring of New York City residents to surrounding rural areas offered a boon to Twin Star Orchards. The U-pick apple farm and maker of Brooklyn Cider House cider sits just outside the small village of New Paltz, New York, about 80 miles north of New York City and halfway to Albany. Susan Yi, who founded the business along with her brother Peter, says a wave of transplants buying new homes in the Hudson Valley gave business a bump during the usual off-season of April and May. Newly remote workers with flexible schedules have driven more business on Fridays, too, and the farm has added live music, usually reserved for holidays, to bring people out on Saturdays. There was even a socially distanced Fourth of July pig roast on its sprawling outdoor pavilion." - Nick Mancall-Bitel

I wanted to take a drive to experience the Fall season activities and an orchard in NY. The staff was very welcoming upon entering the Brooklyn Cider store which is right at the entrance and leads you to the apple orchards. They offered several items from hard cider to wines to jams to honey and MORE!!! We walked around the orchard which was pretty large. The lakes within the orchard added a nice touch and made for an even better day! We were able to select Empire, Jonagold, Golden Delicious, amongst others. We were shocked there were still so many apples to choose from and several on the trees. Once we were done picking apples, we ate at the Pavilion where you could choose from several items, coal oven pizza, burgers and more. I tried the Sausage and Rabe pizza which was very good. In my opinion, broccoli rabe is very stringent lol and I shouldn't have gotten it BUT it was a good pizza and the crust was nice and thin. The cashiers were very sweet. I also tried the Apple Cider and loved it because it wasn't thick nor super sweet. It had a great balance. Once we finished eating by the lake, we headed back to the store to pay for our apples and grab other items. Overall, it was an amazing experience and we got lucky with the weather. I would definitely go back!

Had a great time. Fantastic selection of ciders. Different flavor profiles. It was nice to see the complexity of flavors that an apple can produce. Pizzas were great too!

Google
We had a great experience at Twin Star Orchards! HUGE orchards, amazingly tasty and sweet Jonagold Apples! The place gets very busy but it doesn’t feel like it when you’re out picking apples. The Cider Doughnuts were delicious, Apple cider was fresh and delicious, so we bought 2 jugs😅 They have actual bathrooms which is a plus! Live music, cider and wine tastings. We will definitely be back!

This cozy orchard is great place to visit with family to have apple picking and food. Orchard itself is not big but big enough to pick your own apple. Fuji and honey crispy was really good. Apple has sugar inside. Their food was amazing my recommendation is pizza, ribs, and hamburger. Others are not that good. They have korean stand on weekend but I don't recommend. tteokbokki is 12 dollars and oden is 7 dollars and they are not worth buying taste bad.

Google
Great place for a group, family, or a date. Plenty of space for social distancing and free tasting to start. Burger was amazing and the margarita pizza was yummy. Both were very affordable. The dry and extra dry are my favorite ciders. Bottles are only 10 and 12 to enjoy. You can can also purchase donuts if they don’t sell out. Beautiful space, I highly recommend this place.

Google
Food, drinks, music, apples… this place has everything for a great fall weekend! Apple picking was super easy and they have a map for which apples are where and which are in season. The food was absolutely fantastic, especially the pizza cause of their brick oven. It comes out hot and delicious :) we had the dragon’s breath pizza which was an interesting combination but it works and had a kick for sure! The burgers were also fantastic and cooked to perfection. The cashier was helpful in helping us pick out food and cider as well. The live music started around 1pm and it was very chill and nice on a Saturday afternoon. I also recommend their apple cider donuts! They’re soft and chewy and addictive. I would buy two boxes cause I eat them so fast! Overall, this place is the best for apple picking and spending a nice fall weekend to hang out. Highly recommend everything here :)

Google
This place was alright. I liked that it had a QR code to a map of the property and which apples were ripe and ready to pick. However the weekend of Columbus Day, there were only three varieties to pick from. Also, it’s not the businesses fault that it was raining that day so it made it a little more miserable. Prices were okay, $25 for a peck. However, the vibe of the food and drink hit could’ve been a tad better. Also the food could’ve been better. Like I said it was raining and hence chilly. They had propane heaters in the food/drink pavilion, with limited seating. And this was Columbus Day weekend so there was no seating. They had another seating area that was covered 50-100 feet away from this pavilion, but there was no heating. We waited for a spot to open up in the heated area. The food was not great. The cider was okay. We ordered the Oktoberfest platter that consisted of three different sausages/brays (no roll), a pretzel, sauerkraut and roasted corn. The pretzel was hard as a rock, the corn was good but no butter to put on it. The brats were okay, the best being the jalapeño cheddar. Sauerkraut was lukewarm. Also they said I would receive a text when my food was ready for pickup. 30 minutes later I went to check up on it, and they said “oh all the food is ready, let me get it together for you” and then proceeds to put in on the platter from all the sterno’s and bbqs, so I thought it would okay. Would rather have spent $42 elsewhere for lunch and two adult ciders. Their hot toddy was tasty, as well as their normal apple cider. Their apple cider donut was fried way too much. Dog and pet friendly for leashed pets.

Google
Great food, awesome atmosphere. Highly recommend if you're looking for somewhere to grab a casual dinner and hang around outside for an evening. We were here in early summer so it was less crowded.

Yelp
This is our second year visiting Twin Star Orchards, and it's become a fall tradition for my friends and I! We initially came looking for a relaxed orchard to enjoy apple cider donuts, cider, and some fall foliage, and Twin Star delivered! This orchard has a little bit of everything: a store where you can buy apples, cider, merch, fresh and delicious apple cider donuts, and the option to pick your own apples if you're up for it. Hungry? They've also got a restaurant in the back that serves wood fired pizzas burgers, and cider. While the line for the wood fired pizzas can take a while, there's plenty of picnic tables by the lake so you can take in the gorgeous scenery while waiting for your food. Check this place out if you're in the area!

Yelp
They're now charging $5 per person entry fees on the weekends regardless of whether you are picking apples, going to eat, etc. We decided to go the clemson brothers brewery instead and each used that $5 for a beer, which was a much better value.

Yelp
Really nice cider house in an idyllic setting. What an amazing place to relax and enjoy a refreshing hard cider after hiking at the Gunks. The menu has freshly made Neapolitan style pizzas and burgers. I opted for the pizza and salad and both were delicious. Friendly staff explained the ciders and helped me choose. FYI they also have beers from Industrial Arts and is dog friendly outdoors. 10/10

Yelp
We enjoyed Twin Star Orchards! We ordered the pepperoni and vegan pizza. FOOD: The pepperoni was super good and tasty. The vegan pizza was good but if needed more sauce, it was too dry. But all was very tasty! We also ordered the Bone Dry and Kinda Dry (I'm not sure if that's the name but it was the 2nd sweetest one) which were both food. SERVICE: It was ok. Not 5 stars. The place was basically empty, so the service could have been way better. LOCATION: Loved it, really cool space and lots of seating.

Yelp
My husband and I decided to get something to eat after our Bike ride. We decided to come since they didn't open until 12 , so we decided to do a flight sample first. The margarita pizza was very delicious and out of this world. I think it came up to be $18.00 but it was so worth it. I messed up and decided to buy the two cans of Cider when I couls had just bought a whole bottle. Next time I will do that instead. My husband and I absolutely loved the view of this place. I am sure this place looks absolutely gorgeous in the fall time. My husband and I can't wait to come back here again. It's definitely worth it and everything is so fresh. The service was amazing as well.

Yelp
We have been here 5 or 6 times at this point. We love the cider so we keep coming back ! They are dog friendly which is always a plus for us.

Yelp
We have been going to this place since it opened and have always enjoyed it! Its been a few years since we've been here and we were shocked at how expensive it is now! They charge to rent a wagon, to rent an apple picker, they charge $12 for firewood for the fire pits!! If it's a cool day they should have them going anyway!! We always loved the pizza and the burgers but they too were very pricey. $22 for the dragonsbreath which I remembered tasting much better in the past. Burger was subpar...nothing special at all! That being said it's a cool place to go and walk around the orchard and sit by the pond. If you go on a weekday it's not crazy busy. It's just disappointing that every little thing has to be charged for. Oh and a dozen doubts is $30 Ridiculous prices. But people will continue to travel here and be happy to pay it.

Yelp
Was informed of this orchard through Instagram, which was my first mistake. Nothing is as it seems and the "vs. reality" was pretty bad. My second mistake was actually making the trip out. There is a $5 cover charge per person. Doesn't matter if you plan to visit the cider house, eat, or apple pick. The tickets are timed entry and the staff will not scan you in unless AFTER your time, so don't bother showing up early. You grab a bag depending on how many apples you pick, and the smallest bag ($16), so I went for the larger bag (1/2 bushel) for a whopping $42. Only problem is that there ARE NO APPLES TO PICK. Trees are either completely bare, or the apples are rotten and inedible. So bad that in total I ended up with 11 apples in my $42 bag. AWFUL! The food situation is just as dire. 50 minute wait for pizza, 30 minute wait for already cooked BBQ ribs that was served ice cold. The experience was horrible. Left and drove down the road to a non-Instagram place and had a calm amazing time. This one is not worth it.

Yelp
Unbelievable burger. Great outdoor atmosphere with picnic tables on a lake and the burgers were delicious, local and grassed meet. Vegetarian options also.

Yelp
Fantastic orchard and cider house! There's a reason why the lines are out the door bc the apples are yummy, cider fantastic, and food delish esp the burgers and pizzas. They even have a food stand w fresh kimchi. If a $5 entry fee deters you it is your loss!

Yelp
Love this place. We went there for the first time to celebrate a friends birthday. What a lovely orchard. I tried their cider beer and it was superb! Tried several items. All were delicious! Starting with the pig roast, the pork was quite tender and had nice flavor but a little too much fat for my taste. We also tried the burger, it was huge, messy and okay. No complaints, I tend to prefer smash burgers. But if you like big thick burgers cooked over a fire, this will make you happy. Also tried their pizza and I am a big fan. We got the margarita with extra cheese and it hit the spot! Next time I would get that again and I would also try the mushroom pizza. The place is just wonderful, I can't stop raving about it. They had live music when we were there and there are fire pits between each picnic table around the pond. I thought that was a great touch. I was super impressed with the fire pits. To be able to create warm fire if the mood fits and roast some marshmallows! Love love love this!!! The place had an overall nice friendly vibe. I'm looking forward to returning when they open back up in the spring. It's a great spot to meet up with friends. Definitely kid friendly!

Yelp
Went on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, the parking area was packed, but there's so much space around you didn't feel crowded at all. Very chill atmosphere, friendly staff. We got there a bit later in the day so the main BBQ offerings were sold out, opted for the regular menu items (specialty burgers and wood-fired oven pizza and it was all delicious! We ordered flights of cider, ended up liking the very dry "Bone Dry", and my wife preferred the Pet-nat styled "Three of Life" cider. Would love to visit again, relaxed place for groups and chillin in an orchard near New Platz!

David M.

Yelp
I totally ridiculous that they charge you to pick apples bad enough a bag of apples cost $50 come on. Go a mile down the road to hurds farms they don't charge to get in and it a much better orchard
google avatar

Nicole G.

Yelp
I appreciated how pet friendly this place is! The food was great too :) I hear the cider is great too but I didn't get a chance to try it but definitely next time! This was my first time here and I enjoyed the atmosphere. The orchard itself is so nice to walk around. I would recommend coming here for good food and live music!

Yelp
This isn't a quaint little orchard: as the home of Brooklyn Cider Company, Twin Star Orchards seems to be a popular destination in upstate New York. Between people coming up from the city, locals, and out-of-state tourists, there were easily over 300 people here on a prime Fall weekend afternoon. That being said, the orchards are HUGE, so there was plenty of space to spread out. You can either pick your own apples from the orchards or choose from a selection in the store (or do a mix of both!). A peck of apples (about 12 lbs.) was plenty for me and cost $15. The largest bags (half bushel, about 24 lbs.) are $25. A lot of the orchard sections are blocked off (understandable because they need some apples left to make cider with!). The trees closest to the farm stand were totally picked over, but if you're willing to walk deeper into the orchards, you can find trees that are covered with fruit. Come prepared to do some walking! After working up an appetite wandering through the orchards, you can grab some food and beverages. Their wood fired pizzas are extremely popular for a reason! There was a 2 hour wait for pizza as the lunch rush was ending. You can order online to skip the wait--my online order only took 30-40 minutes to prepare--but they do shut off online ordering if it gets too busy. It might be a good idea to place your order first before you set off apple picking. The vegan pizza ($15) was amazing! It was topped with a beautiful assortment of seasonal vegetables: enoki mushrooms, broccoli rabe, and more. The sauce and toppings were so flavorful that I didn't even miss the cheese! Definitely pick up some cider to go. 750mL bottles are about $10-12. The raw cider I tried was so crisp, light, and delicious! With a triple threat of attractions (apple pocking, wood fired pizza, and alcoholic cider) Twin Star Orchards is a great spot for a quintessential Fall weekend. Just try to beat the crowds!

Yelp
Brooklyn Cide House/Twin Star Orchards is an absolutely bucket list worthy day trips for anyone to make. Nor a fan of cider (beer)? Well then come hungry because the pizzas are must try. Stunning views, plenty of parking, and a great scenic drive from the Manhattan area. Honestly, its a very smooth and easy drive to take. Once you pull up to the large barn, you can call and place your order OR order via their website I ordered the half sour , dry cider, and another cider. Cans and bottes start at about 7.00 and can go up to 16.00 i believe. That being said, split a 4 pack with someone. There are some bottles and cans that can be sold by themselves. The pizzas are very tasty and a nice surprise for a cidery. its a thin, neopoltian, style crust pie. layered with various toppings, sauce, and cheese. perfect to share on a date, or eat for yourself like the gluttonous pig that i am. my friend grabbed the "dragons breath". he ate it down quick, loved it. I dont think it wasy spicy at all. For me, the non meat eater, i had the 3mushroom white. Love the tender shrooms, perfect amount of cheese, and the hint of truffle oil. a pizza to die for! Keep in mind, theres plenty of pizzas here to get for the non meat eaters! We ate outside at our car since it was a nice day. We were allowed to use the bathrooms as long as we had face coverings and gloves. the inside of the brooklyn cider house smelled amazing and i cant wait to attend when covid is over. Before you arrive, make sure to check the twin star orchards website about whats available for pick up. i will be back to try their cider donuts!

Yelp
Twin Star continues to deliver an amazing consumer experience. Since my last review, Twin Star has opened its doors to the public and offers near similar services to pre-COVID. We were meeting some family who was traveling south on the NYS Thruway and figured Twin Star would be a perfect location. Because TS has an amazing outdoor space, with orchards, tables, and their famous red pizza pavilion, we felt comfortable making this one of our first "dine-in" destinations since March. Upon arrival, you'll quickly realize their level of commitment to safety and health. Masks are required and they've clearly labeled social distancing areas throughout the grounds. I'd say almost every 20 feet, you can find some sort of hand sanitizer station, one-way arrows for foot traffic, and/or signage that succinctly reminds guests of the new rules for safety. Tables were separated with umbrellas for shade (it seems like they've added over 10-15 NEW picnic tables around the pond). One added bonus was the upgraded SquarePay system. Before ordering, you give your phone number to enroll for alerts/updates on your food. It wasn't too crowded on Sunday (7/12), but they had a chalkboard sign with estimated wait-times for food. In previous visits, your ready order would get yelled by a staff member--this is fine if you're seated near the pickup window, but near impossible to hear when seated in a different area. The new text alert system is a small upgrade, but an amazing feature to an already near-perfect experience. I got my favorites: Bone Dry Cider with a Dragon's Breath pizza.

Yelp
Great place to hang out, pick some apples, order a pizza or burger and some cider, and eat it all on a picnic table by their lake/pond. Their brick oven pizzas were awesome, fed by actual wood that you can smell as you wait on their gorgeous grounds. We ordered one of each flavor they had. I'm not a cider person. But, I did enjoy their variety of available ciders. We got 3 different bottles of cider to wash down all the pizza. And then we went apple picking. $25 per bag/half bushel. Not a bad deal at all. And they have live music on occasion. I wish we could've been here earlier in the season for that. We've found our new apple picking place.
google avatar

Cheryl Y.

Yelp
I loved our experience here. It was beautiful, the apples and food were delicious, and it was a super chill hang. However the only reason I did not give 5 stars is that at least 40-50% of the apples trees had poison ivy growing on their trunks (look for the bright red leaves that are a different shape from the green apple tree leaves). My 6 year old son thought they were beautiful fall foliage and picked some and I nearly had a panic attack. I got exposed too when I instinctually snatched it out of his hands. Most other orchards I've been to seem to remove the poison ivy but this one doesn't so proceed with caution if you bring young kids

Barbara C.

Yelp
Food was good. Service was crappy. Then there's this poor dog chained to a table behind the bar & can't even lay down. I asked a barmaid how long that poor dog is chained like that. Her response is all day. Really? I won't be going back anytime soon.....
google avatar

Yelp
This is not your typical apple farm. This is an apple farm with so much more. If you are a foodie then this is a destination that cannot be missed! On a regular day this apple farm not only has a great selection of apples for the picking, they have a great variety of burgers, pizzas, and award winning ciders. This weekend was one of their special weekends, celebrating Oktoberfest with grilled sausages, pretzels, and live music. We went to have a day out to celebrate a birthday! This is a dog friendly place with a fun vibe, delicious food and drinks. We got there just as they opened. The area around the pavilion quickly filled up with people sitting on the multitude of picnic tables scattered by the pond which provides a nice view as you munch and drink away. After filling up, you can get some exercise walking around the expansive apple farm, picking from a nice variety of apples. We went for the Fuji and Jonagold. On the way out, don't forget to get a dozen cider donuts for the road!
google avatar

Caroline G.

Yelp
Fun time all around. We picked apples, we tried some Brooklyn CiderHouse cider and ate some food overlooking the pond. They have specials for Oktoberfest right now. Suggest the kielbasa but not the chicken spinach feta. That last one is a little dry. Pizza was good. Cider was good. The place is well maintained. Good times.
google avatar

Adelfa M.

Yelp
Lovely place food is great, if you into roast pig worth driving up. Cider is delicious . One thing because pets are allowed the place should have a dog dispenser.

Glen G.

Yelp
This spot rocks! Great ciders, beautiful orchard and strawberry fields! Great place for the family to spend an afternoon!

Yelp
A lovely, rustic stop on our way to Mohonk. Yummy pizza, delicious ciders and friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Yelp
It pains me to let the rest of the world in on this place, but out of the goodness of my heart...this is my happy place. Beautiful surroundings, amazing pizza and cider, chill vibe. Great place for any age...we've gone with my 1 and 4 year old twice. Placed our order online and the timing was very accurate.
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic experience today at Twin Star Orchards. The Roast Pig was a delish, the wood oven pizza one of the best I ever have eaten. The live music gave the afternoon a nice touch and the Brooklyn Cider House in the same location make it even better. It's great for families and couples, a really entertaining Sunday afternoon plan.

david k.

Yelp
Twin star is a must do in the New Paltz area. Great Seiter, various types and styles great pizza and outdoor music over the weekend. Really inviting place good food and drink on a nice day can't beat it.
google avatar

Jennifer D.

Yelp
Beautiful orchards, gorgeous hard cider tasting room and delicious pizza and burgers cooked in the wood fired oven. This is one of those orchards you can spend the day at without completely breaking the bank. There are picnic tables by the ponds where you can bring your own food or indulge in the food they have there. $15 gets you a plastic bag which holds a peck of apples. They also have a larger reusable cloth bag. There are plenty of varieties to choose from and they are all crisp and delicious. They also have some pear trees. Follow them on Facebook for their special events. Definitely will be back soon.
google avatar

Emma L.

Yelp
Lots of space and tables to sit and enjoy yourself outside, we didn't feel cramped and overwhelmed like some of the other local places. There are a few tables with umbrellas but those are taken up pretty quickly. The ciders and beers were better than other cideries in the area. The parking lot was packed! The wood fired pizza and burgers are very tasty. Really great place to go for a summer afternoon out. Great view as well.
google avatar

Ashley L.

Yelp
Twin Star Orchards is a one stop shop for all your favorite fun fall activities rolled into one beautiful and scenic spot. There is an apple orchard, a little farm store, cider tasting area, a separate pizzeria/food area and drink area as well that has plenty of outdoor seating and space overlooking the apple orchards and a pond. This place opens at 11 AM on the weekends and you definitely need to make sure to arrive at open otherwise you definitely won't get in because this place gets packed FAST. They have free parking out front and no entry fee (yasss). Once you go in, you walk through the little farm store that has the cider tasting on the right, apples, cider, apple cider donuts and bottles of apple cider on the left and some cool swag. You can easily walk the apple orchard and fill as many bags with apple varieties, take lots of fun fall photos, enjoy the view, grab a bite to eat and some bottles of cider to enjoy the day and spend the day there, or run through and grab your bottles to go. Either way, this is a solid spot for an adventure. 14/10 would recommend and will make sure this spot is on my annual fall list.

Sean K.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the Orchards. Delish ciders and the food was excellent. Sitting by the pond, looking at the orchard. Just really relaxing and fun.

Ella D.

Yelp
Yummy apples, good pizza and cider but bag of apples and gift store is pricey. Good for a date night
google avatar

Belle L.

Yelp
Stopped by here after going to the gun range! Such a great place to relax and the pizza they had was so good. I couldn't believe we came across such a hidden gem. The ciders were also yummy and crisp and really tasty. They allow you to bring dogs so that's a great plus!

Veronica C.

Yelp
Visiting from NYC this weekend and this was my first time at Twin Star. We had a great time! It was very crowded so the food took a bit longer than expected but it was delicious and the service was great. The girl who gave us our food was very friendly as were those at the cider station. Definitely recommend the dragon's breath pizza it was worth the wait! Same goes for the Little Wild cider. Beautiful weather and view. We will absolutely be coming back!
google avatar

Brian L.

Yelp
5 star for the best pizza and burger ever served in an apple orchard. Better than some places in the city. 5 star for the best sour apple cider. 1 Star for not having any apples for us to pick in the first week of October. 1 Star for us driving a total of 5 hours from NYC just to eat pizza and a burger. The last two likely not their fault.
google avatar

Corinne K.

Yelp
Had an amazing time at Twin Star Orchards for their LDW Pig Roast! My boyfriend and I opted for the Pork Sandwich, which was absolutely delicious. I was afraid that the pork might be a bit dry, but it was extremely juicy and flavorful. Coupled with their homemade BBQ sauce and a refreshing Little Wild cider, it made for the perfect Sunday afternoon lunch. Will definitely be coming back for anther Pig Roast in the future!
google avatar

Angie Y.

Yelp
A beautiful orchard which a cidery attached that allows you to spend a relaxing day enjoying a cold one, eating artisanal pizza and take in the sites by the water. There are tons of benches and picnic tables that makes for a great outdoor dining experience with scenic views. There is everything from ciders to pizza to cider donuts and the workers seem to be young, friendly, and willing to do a good job at their part time roles. Compared to other cideries this place feels a lot more lax and is a good place to come hang out with a large group when the weather is nice.
google avatar

Kim M.

Yelp
Lake side pizza (the best pizza btw) we get the dragons breath every time and the staff is awesome!

Joe B.

Yelp
Foods great ciders are great atmosphere is even better and amazing views service was also great staff always takes to you . Will be back

Yelp
It was a super packed, gorgeous Fall day so perhaps this wasn't the norm but we ordered online around 3:30 pm while we were en route and were given a ready time of 4:25. Got the text at 4:25 - went to the window and they hand me one of the 4 things I've ordered - a burger. I'm told the pizza isn't ready yet. So I stand there for over 25 more minutes, with the burger getting cold waiting for the pizza. I inquire - are they sure the pizza is coming? Why send a text if the whole order isn't ready? I'm told they don't put orders together. Items come out when they're ready. So moral of the story - order all burgers or all pizzas, unless you want half your food ice cold by the time the other half is ready. Also, I had to ask for the donuts and cider that I also ordered or I wouldn't have gotten them. Pizza was great. Portabella burger was cold and nothing special for $13.

Yelp
Great spot with beautiful views. Good food, good ciders, and great service! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Amazing food and service. Best Orchard in town! Have been going for years now and it is always pleasure.

Yelp
Amazing place. Went during covid, they're so strict about mask wearing which is great! Very safe place. Burgers are amazing, cider is soooo good. They also sell apples if you don't actually want to pick them, which is a good option. Homemade honey, jams, hard ciders, etc.. Overall great place to go!

Yelp
This was our first stop to our little brewery tour around Hudson Valley! It was quite freezing for a Saturday in October but the view was worth it... this orchard is in a beautiful location. The cider was great, the donuts were absolutely delicious (I am still dreaming about them), and there were many different seating options. I would love to come back one day if I find myself in the area.

Yelp
Had a fun time strolling along the orchard with my friends. I had the apple margarita and it was delicious. The inly caveat for the 3 star rating was the frustrating process. In NY you need to order food in order to order drinks, however, the food line was so long and the food took some time to be ready. We spent a majority of the time waiting in lines instead of enjoying the beautiful scenery. Even after we bought tickets for corn and everytime we went to claim, they said just 5 minutes but it came and went many times over. Fast forward an hour, we finally got our corn. Just a little frustrating process :/

Yelp
We always have such a great time here. The food is amazing and the drinks are perfection! The view is lovely and there is a good time to be had by all. They often have live music here as well which makes the whole experience even better! It's one of the places we always take our visiting family and friends.

Yelp
This place is so beautiful. We went early on a Saturday for Apple picking and it was beautiful. We had a pizza and we had a burger which were both good. The grounds are very nice to walk around and enjoy on a sunny day.
