This is my first visit here, I happened to be in the shopping center and thought I'd try it out. I ordered the brown sugar fluffy coffee, thai tea, cosmic dream, and strawberry banana smoothie. We were the only customers and there was 1 associate. She was friendly and efficient. We all enjoyed our drinks and will definitely be back.

Went there in the afternoon. There was only 1 employee but she managed our order well! The service was fast and our boba tastes so good!

Tried the brown sugar fluffy coffee- I got one with almond milk and one with regular milk. The almond milk one was stronger, more bitter and slightly burnt tasting. It tasted like canned coffee but worse. The regular was far sweeter and less strong. It wasn’t very good. The boba itself was great. I’d definitely return but I’d order something else. (Picture has the almond milk version- regular milk version was lighter in color). Service was great.

Looking for some level of cold and sweet beverage on a hot day and stumbled upon this shop. The name of the store drew me to buy their what else Brown sugar boba. Tasty, chewy boba, it suited my thirst. Will come again for real.

The place inside is a little bit small, but the decor is cute and aesthetically pleasing. There was only one person working the front and she was helpful, sweet and fast. I ordered the tiramisu milk tea with oreo crumbs, my sister the chocolate oolong and my friend the golden nova fruit tea. Each of us enjoyed our drinks, but the oolong chocolate tea tasted more chocolate than oolong (meaning there was not much balance in flavors). The drinks themselves come in pretty tall, thin cups, which seems like a lot, but actually doesn't feel like it; I finished my drink pretty quickly and I'm known to usually sit with my drink for hours. Probably an irrelevant addition to the review, but the store was playing some pretty classic K-pop hits - as a K-pop fan of second generation groups, it was nice to walk in to hear the sounds of an older era Girls Generation, as well as B2ST and Taeyang. Whoever's playlist that is has taste 😉 Anyways, I think I'll definitely come back when I'm in the area.

All I have to say is that this is the most beautiful drink I have ever had. Not only was the aesthetic gorgeous, but so were the flavors! I had ordered the cosmic dreams, and I ordered it because on their Yelp page I kept seeing this, and it caught my eye because of the stunning colors, and I sure do love picture perfect foods and drinks. However, the only thing I can recall was that the orange part was mango. I'm not sure what the pink/purple part is, but all I know is that it tasted delicious and was very refreshing. I thought that the two different flavors paired quiet nicely together. I honestly thought of it as a luxurious drink because of the stunning colors and rich flavors. The one thing that really bothered me though was that there was so much pulp at the bottom of the drink where the boba was at, and there was even a seed or two at the bottom too! It hindered me from getting a good sip because in every sip you would get boba but also a mouthful of pulp, and I'm not a big fan of pulp. Also, the boba was super inconsistent, and a couple were really undercooked. I wouldv'e been better off with no boba at all. The drink was delicious don't get me wrong, but everything that was sitting at the bottom of the cup like the pulp and boba just brought the whole drink down. The staff were super nice and friendly though, and greeted us when we first came in. It seemed like a nice and chill environment inside too with the music and nice staff! Overall, I feel like my drink could have been better, but I am just in love with the colors and taste of the drink!

Yooooo! Bomb-to-the-dot-com! Cute place totally selfie worthy and the drinks! My oh my are they delicious! Beautiful and delicious? That's my type of drink right there. You did it you son of a Bih, you did it Twinkle Brown Sugar. I mean, look at these pictures? You'd think they were faking, but they most certainly are not. They are a bit on the sweet side when you get the full throttle, but I believe you're able to adjust the sweetness. And they have some delectable snacks. The peeps running this place are also friendly and awesome with suggestions. Did I mention they have specials?! Sheesh, they knew where to tug at my discount heart strings. Lol. They are located in a busy shopping center, but usually parking is not too difficult. Come try them out and take pictures with cute, yummy drinks yourself!

3* recipes, +1 cute retail therapy rack, -1 salty ass fries, +1 friendly workers, -1 oily stick Nice workers, menu recipes okay, if you're here longer than an hour you may leave having to shower and wash your clothes. Came back because 7 leaves was packed and I wanted a place to study and this place has wifi. They have a row of sale shelf next to the counter selling some stationary and mainly smiskis / those little human figure blind boxes. It's cute. Ordered watermelon juice (that was good) and a garlic salt fries. The garlic salt fries were way too salty, I let them know and asked if they could remake it and they did which was super nice and validated that the fries were in fact too salty. I left after 2 hours, it was really nice they had empty seating and good wifi, when I got home I noticed this oil smell stuck to my hair and clothes. I used to work at a boba store that served fried food and this was exactly what I would smell like coming home. Time to shower and do laundry!

The Twinkle Brown Sugar Milk is very refreshing. They have the best chewy boba pearl--that was the only one I ordered from them but they have a wide selection of other drinks. I have visited that place a couple of times, but one of the times I went, the server was very rude. When I asked if she could adjust the sweetness of my drink, she said no and cut me off before I could finish my request. I have never had that kind of experience before. The atmosphere is simple and clean.

Very nice place, the drinks are good and the prices are right. Everyone inside is super nice and the interior is clean. Very inviting. Worth the trip.

First things first: they use non dairy creamer. Yayyyy! I ordered the taro milk tea 50% sweet with boba. The cashier confirmed there was caffeine in the drink, but it was not noticeable to me. The drink was huge, however, it was way too sweet. It tasted a little syrupy, which was a little unnerving. The bubble waffle was pretty standard, nothing special. For the price and kind customer service, I would come back and try their other drinks, probably a tea next time! They were tables in the restaurant for sitting and hang out with friends. Plenty of free parking in the plaza.

Came here around 3PM on a Tuesday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. This little boba shop is located in a shopping center, so parking was plentiful. The employee was very kind in explaining the various drinks on the menu, and I ended up going with a classic boba milk tea ($6.25). The milk tea had a good amount of sweetness & the boba was pretty chewy (a tad more firm than I typically go for, but still yummy). They have wifi available for guests, so I decided to do a remote work session. I don't find myself in this area too often, but I'd definitely recommend checking twinkle brown sugar out if you're craving boba!

I love their milk tea boba! Just the right amount of sweetness and the boba has a nice soft chewy consistency. I get the small pearls with my drink. My school gets drinks catered by them and I do have to say it's a great choice! I will have to try out the other drinks at their location but from the drinks that was catered by Twinkle they are amazing.

Overall: drinks and service are decent, merch is cute, location and parking are good, and atmosphere is nice! I've only been here twice since it's a bit of a drive from where I live, but I appreciate that their menu has the standard variety of beverages - from teas to fruity slushes to desserty coffees. I've tried a milk tea with boba, a brewed green tea with sea salt cream, and one of the sweet coffees. They're ok, honestly nothing special but also not terrible. Maybe I haven't found the right Twinkle Brown Sugar flavor and sugar level combo for my palate. The last time I was here, they let our group stay to play games, which was nice. My friend bought some Pokemon keychains, and they were super adorable. Interior was also cute and bright, though I wish the tables and chairs felt cleaner. Parking in the lot was easy. It's a bonus that Starbread and other Filipino goodies are in the same plaza.

pretty solid boba place to get your boba fix! 'mango milk green tea': mango flavor was subtle, but overall the drink was pretty good! it had a good milk to tea ratio, and the boba was soft and chewy! also, i usually have to adjust the sweetness levels with my drinks, but chose not too this time and I was pleasantly surprised that it was just the right amount of sweetness! there was only one staff member working when I went and she was really nice and made the drinks really quickly. there are also a couple of seating options inside, so good for hanging out/studying!

Last day of business was 10/31/24 as posted on front door. Permanently closed. This place was once my goto place to grab a quick snack before heading home after work. Sad that they closed. :(

Came to try the coconut pudding. I was told it was made fresh and lasts upto 7 days. Better than melo melo (3 days) and coconut jelly king's coconut jelly (day of) life shelf. I was able to try something not out yet but coming soon..currently a SECRET MENU Drink: the golden sunrise: (citrus) green tea base with muddled orange, kumquat and another ingredient.. Ahaha super secret and not on menu so i can't say. Lol It was pretty good. It kinds cool of them to let me try before it comes out! Came close to closing. Fryer already closed so i could only try their drinks and coconut pudding. Closed tomorrow due to weather.

Overall: Cool to try, some unique drinks! Seating good to catch up with people over some boba. Nothing super special, would go down the street for a different boba place. Sweet Pink: Strawberry Milk Tea with strawberry, whip cream, and strawberry ice cream. Pretty sweet, I wish I adjusted it. The ice cream tasted like it's been in the refrigerator for awhile. Drink itself was okay though! Wouldn't get again but a good try :) Brown Sugar Milk Tea: Tasted like a standard brown sugar milk tea! Pretty good! Inside: I noticed the floors were a little dirty like it could've been cleaned up better since the last establishment. Other than that, the decor was good with some good seating! Outside: Parking in front as well in the whole plaza.

Just found my new favorite boba place! This place is truly a hidden gem. Their prices and sizes and their drinks oh my! You guys need to try them! Their menu already has the tax added to it which is always a nice touch. The inside is also always tidy and clean, not to mention they have constant air conditioning. They have many drinks to choose from but my personal favorite is their signature brown sugar boba drink. Their specialty drinks all come in one size and the toppings are not substitutable. The size itself is huge and they also look just like the images you see on the menu, so presentation is always outdone! The service is also super nice and welcoming. They also make your drinks super fast.

Me and my wife used to go here more often, but previously the quality of the store didn't quite match up to that of the Little Tokyo location. However, on this last visit we were so excited to see that the quality of the store (including the cup sizes) is much more representative of Twinkle Brown Sugar. The sizes are so generous and the inside is cute, even selling some toys and trinkets inside. We're excited to come back here!

I ordered a rose milk tea, half sweet with sea salt cream and it was great! I've had better sea salt at other places honestly though. Also ordered cajun fries which I thought were good and a bit spicy, but my partner said it could use some salt. My sister got a thai tea with sea salt and we were both fans. We really liked that it was just the tea as the base itself with the cream on top, with no milk added.

One of my favorite Boba spots! Service is quick and has a good variety of drinks. Only 4 stars because when I went in at 12pm (right when they opened) the boba wasn't gonna be ready for another 20 minutes ...I wish the opening employee would come before they open to have the boba ready for their customers immediately at opening time . Maybe this is something management can change ?

Friend and I decided to make this our study spot for the day. We got the Thai Tea Float and the Sweet Pink. When I tell you that this is my second favorite boba shop in the world I MEAN it. The drinks had the perfect amount of sweetness and they were VERY big. My friend loves Thai Tea, it's her absolute favorite, and she said this is the best one she's ever had. 10/10 for sure.

I stumbled across this place very last minute after spending an afternoon at a nearby park before going back home. I remember searching this place up several times in the past but I'm not in the Cerritos area too often these days. Ordered their Sea Salt Thai Tea with Boba. It was my first time getting a Thai tea with a sea salt foam on top. The boba was a good balance between firm and squishy with a good flavor to it. Overall, the drink was very delicious. The ambiance is nice and it's very clean inside. I don't remember the girl that was working that day but she was very friendly and greeted me with a warm smile. The drink came out fairly quick so I was in and out within minutes. 100% recommended!

My new favorite bobba place!!!!! I saw this in yelp because im craving for bobba and so this place and its near starbread and all the pilipino store so its a one stop shop for me!!!

The girl cashier was so cute and friendly! I wish everyone in customer service was like that. (says me who is a cashier) and the blue glittery pumpkins! I'm the least festive person but holy yes, this season will be spookytastic (excuse what ever the heck that was)... the drink I got is to die for! the yummiest thing I've had in a long time oreo taro smoothie! so glad I got to have you after a stressful week thank you Twinkle...glad my sister and I returned to our hometown of 13 years to try I guess Soma will have to wait for another day~

I was in the area and haven't tried Twinkle Brown sugar in years! Their OG location in little Tokyo was closed! And visited their Alhambra location years ago. I thought it was time to try it again after so many years and their menu items have updated a lot with a few popular staples from their OG days when they were still called O Zero. The cosmic dream really caught my eye and that's what I ordered! It had pineapple and some other flavors I forgot but I loved it !

Located in an assuming location, I might've driven right past this cute little spot if someone didn't tell me to try it. We were greeted when we walked in but didn't get top notch attention even though we were the only customers there. I have pretty high expectations when it comes to service and would've liked if items were suggested, or if the staff would've given friendlier vibes. Anyhow this is your standard boba place with much of the common offerings at other boba places, but one thing they do have that most others in the area don't is brick toast. I will go back to try the brick toast but will not go out of the way for boba since there are closer locations to where I live but if you live nearby, and like boba you should try it.

We visit this area quite often when we are in the area. This was the first time, however, that we stepped into Twinkle Brown Sugar. Their shop is very clean and well decorated. Service was good too. We were undecided on what to try so we asked what their most popular drink is. The young lady said that the Brown Sugar Milk Tea sells really good. Should have gotten one of their fruity choices. Was not too crazy about the brown sugar milk tea. The boba tasted alright. Next visit, will try something different. They are definitely a nice place worth checking out.

I have known this place from quite some time, and finally decided to give it a try. I was surprised how good their milk tea was! I had my go to regular milk tea with lychee jelly, and the same was almost similar with one known shop nearby. It seemed to be on a sweeter side, I only had quarter sugar and it seemed to be sweeter than I expected. Still good though. You can also earn points from the EFS. The staffs seemed nice but a little slow. I would come back to try other drinks.

Went to the Grand Reopening for the BOGO deal. I tried the sweet pink and the oolong milk tea with boba. The sweet pink is a strawberry milk tea with ice cream and whipped cream on top. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it was a bit sweet for me and the strawberry flavor tasted a bit artificial. However, I was actually impressed with their oolong milk tea! The flavor was good and the boba had a good texture. The interior of the store was pretty clean, and there were a few tables. They also sell sonny angels here if you're into those. Overall decent boba spot. I would go more often if I lived closer.

Where's my awesome white girl with glasses??? Everytime I come here she's there. Today she's not here and oh boy service were B-A-D . Drinks were slow to made and taste isn't the same. It's also extra sweet compared to before and I come here many many times. even with 2 people it even take longer than when that one girl here alone. The staff wasn't listen to question customer have. Took forever to order and to get food. It's spoil all the awesome this place used to have. Finger crossed I see that one white girl next time otherwise I and my friend most likely won't come back. Tables unclean. Bread crumb everywhere. You have more people you would think they would clean when they get a chance. Nope

We ordered their taro oreo smoothie and their sea salt tiramisu milk tea with boba. Prices are a bit expensive and the drinks weren't sweet enough. Taro oreo smoothie: I liked the crunch from the oreos and the taro flavor was okay, but the drink wasn't very sweet, and I normally order my drinks from other places at half sweet. Sea salt tiramisu: Not sweet enough. Boba was okay, but a bit overcooked. Not as good as tancha's tiramisu milk tea in our opinion.

My second time in this area and I made it a point to stop in and try something. The cashier was so nice! Ordered an almond milk tea plain with I believe 30% sweetness level. It still ran a little too sugary for me. I ended up waiting for it to water down throughout the day. The size of the cup looks substantially larger in volume than your average boba shop though, so you're getting a good amount for your dollar. The inside of the shop is clean and sparkling white, with an aesthetic shop name backdrop for your IG snaps. It would make a good spot to hang out with friends and just chill.

I came on a Saturday afternoon and ordered their Sweet Pink Signature Drink for about $6 with tax. It's a strawberry green tea drink and you can adjust the sugar levels, which I did (25%) and it comes in one size, which is pretty slender and tall. I also don't remember if I asked for oat milk of if I only adjusted the level of sweetness. I would say this is just okay. At 25% the drink was still way too sweet - I think I didn't finish half of it. If I do come back I'd get 0% sugar and have them add a topping. But the flavor itself? Reminded me of strawberry ice cream! It was creamy with a nice strawberry flavor. I also love the art design of the cup (featuring all of their drinks in cursive, very cute). It was just super sweet and for the price I paid, I couldn't drink all of it. If I were going straight home it wouldn't be a problem, but we were on vacation, so by the time I got to a fridge, the entire drink was warm. Parking was easy, there's plenty of parking out front. And everyone was polite and wore masks.

I love it when I walk around and stumble across a hidden gem. A friend and I just finished a late lunch at LUV DDUK and was walking around the plaza to check out what other businesses were there. I always have room for boba, so I decided to take a leap of faith and walked into Twinkle Brown Sugar. First impression: the place was small with a few tables, but cutely decorated with boba memorabilia. Some menu items are not straightforward from their names, but don't be afraid to ask! For example, cosmic dreams is mango lemonade with butterfly pea tea. I usually get the sea salt tiramisu milk tea and the sweet pink, which is strawberry milk tea with strawberry ice cream and whipped cream. The default sugar level is 50%, but I usually adjust it to 25%, and it's the perfect sweetness level for me. You can also adjust the ice level. Service is friendly and prompt. The drinks come out pretty quickly. Can't wait to go back and try other drinks and the toast here.

Whoa! Twinkle brown sugar had been at the top of my list to try for quite some time now. The new decor makes twinkle brown sugar a great place to hand out, it's welcoming and has great drinks to enjoy. I was dying for some type of tea and wasn't sure what to really choose, but their menu helps out big time with that. With endless options and toppings possibilities you can't go wrong. I ended up ordering the green tea milk tea and getting a matcha ice cream scoop on top! I've never had anything like that before it was a crazy sight to see ice cream on top of BOBA?! I do have to admit it is a lot, I don't think I ended up finishing it because it was just too much for me, but that doesn't take away from how good it was. It was the perfect amount of sweet and refreshing.

Their drinks are good, some rich and creamy, others light and fruity. The base of their drinks start a little tad pricier than some other boba shops but the cup appears taller. They have various add ons as well. I ordered the golden nova tea with no sugar added 0%. The sweeteners they use in the boba and aloe sweeten the drink enough for me. My drink came with fruit slices which turned out to be lemon, orange, and lime. This was nice. What made the drink really intolerable was the sweetened citrus/fruit juice they add- it made the whole drink SO sweet, TOO sweet for my liking. I kept diluting and adding water as I would sip. I'll try something else next time. Maybe it was a mistake. Great location in the strip mall next to the donut shop, Goldilocks, across Bank of America. The shop has a nice seating area and they're pretty quick with making your drinks. I'd def come back but tailor my drink better.

Love coming to this place!! They added a few munchies recently -- original waffle and chicken popcorn are a MUST TRY! Kudos to good recommendations from Jayca, refreshing drinks to sweet ones! I really appreciate the good customer service. I'll surely be back here!!

Woohoo! Another boba place in Cerritos! I enjoyed my drink from here. The shop itself it cute, clean, and aesthetic. The prices are a tiny bit expensive for my liking, but boba is a pricey hobby haha The cups themselves are cute too as they are skinny and tall versus the traditional looking cup that's shorter and fatter. Their drinks are also sooo pretty! I ordered one of their most popular drinks, Brown Sugar Milk Tea half sweet with pudding. The people I was with also ordered Taro Milk Tea and Sea Salt Thai Milk Tea with boba. I thought the Brown Sugar Milk Tea tasted fine. It didn't really wow me or anything. Then I had a sip of my sisters drink. What did impress me was the boba! It was supple, sweet, soft, and super chewy! (ooo, check out my alliteration! haha) I could tell that the boba was fresh and wasn't just sitting there hardening away. I really enjoyed their boba! My friends also really enjoyed their drinks. One thing I didn't like was that some of their drink names are vague and I couldn't find a description of what was in it. For example, Golden Nova and Cosmic Dreams sound like delicious drinks..but like...what is it? haha Overall, I'd love to come back and give this place another try! P.S. They have a 10% off Yelp check-in on Mondays and Tuesdays :)

I ordered a boba milk tea. The drink was not that great, too sweet. I did not feel welcome here. The cashier was rude and cold.

My colleague and I were super close and decided to stop by. My colleague is not a fan of tea and was interested in the "Cosmic Lemonade." I was just super dehydrated and needed something to drink. The name "Golden Nova" caught my attention. The Cosmic was a super Instagram photo op.such a pretty drink. My colleague did enjoy her drink. The Golden Nova was quite refreshing. What I really liked about it was that after my drink was gone was able to fill up with water and the fresh fruit in my drink provided a second Cup of fruit flavored water. I called in the order and the person who answered the phone was great at answering questions. When we arrived our order was ready. Customer service is good here. The shop is located in the seafood city shopping plaza and the shopping strip has a couple of other Good places to try including Kape Republic. Overall I enjoyed my drink
