Yelp
This is a very cute restaurant with good vibes. I love that they have adequate indoor and outdoor seating, along with a bar area. The staff we encountered, including our waitress, were all friendly. The food was tasty. I didn't get a picture of any of it, but we ate everything on our plates. (A good sign.) The drinks, however, left much to be desired. Such was disappointing as the cocktail menu looks amazing.
I ordered a Bourbon Peach Smash (peach bourbon, sliced peaches, simple syrup, splash of soda water, & mint). It looked like a glass of soda water w/ peaches & mint. Clear with bubbles. How odd. Without thinking, I started drinking as I continued my conversation. I thought "oh that's refreshing" (like peach water) and then I remembered what I ordered and looked at it. No bourbon was in the drink. I informed the waitress and she stated it was clear because, "peach bourbon is lighter" in color. ... I insisted that isn't the case and she said she would check and taste it. Yes, TASTE it. She took it to the bar and, when she brought it back, confirmed there was bourbon in it. I asked if she said she was going to taste my drink. She smiled and said yes & that she stuck a straw in it. I declined to drink it and asked for a Georgia Peach Mule instead. Sadly, it wasn't good and was flat. You'd think they were the same if it weren't for the missing peaches & mint. I didn't bother sending it back. I will say, my friend enjoyed her martini, as did the ladies next to us. Perhaps, just stick to those while there. [The attached picture is of their pickle martini. The bourbon peach smash was clearer than it.)
