"Twisteas is a small tea shop in Monterey Park that specializes in fruit teas. The popular pineapple mayhem includes pineapple, lychee jelly, and fresh mint leaves muddled into the ice and tea. In addition to the innovative fruit teas, Twisteas also has classic milk teas, mojiteas, and an array of one-of-a-kind creations." - Kristie Hang

I've only been here twice and gotten their "Twisteas Concoctions" (fruit teas), which have been really good! A bit on the sweet side, but tastes refreshing. All of them are made with black teas except for the Summer Elixer. I've tried the Mango Tango and Razzy Raspberry, and the caffeine in the black tea is enough to keep me up for hours. I just tried their twisted potato today, and while it looks good, it tastes quite bland like a normal potato despite having sour cream and chive powder on it. But it is cheaper than you would get at a night market. Service is great too, the staff is very friendly. They even mentioned that you can substitute any toppings in their drinks with another one if you want. Also, every $4 gets you a stamp on their stamp card whether it was spent on food or drink!

My family and I frequent here quite often and every single time, the drinks were on point! Thai tea, Thai-chata, strawberry vortex, pineapple escape, milky way taro, polar pomegranate are just a few that I've tried and would recommend but everything including food is so good. Their customer service is also great! Always a pleasant experience for us. We've "cheated" and have gone to other boba places when traveling but it's not the same. Twisteas definitely has our loyalty!

Google
The original Thai tea was delicious. It has sago tapioca and vanilla pudding which was nice with the Thai tea.

Google
Love their Everything’s Peachy drink! The peach flavor is good and the sweetness is just right. The boba is also nice and chewy!

Google
Delicious! Refreshing! Got Rasberryade and really like the tangy and sweet flavor. Just came by on a whim and pleasantly surprised. Will return.

Google
Ordered hazelnut almond milk tea and a raspberryade tea along with some garlic parmesan fries. Drinks were really good. And the fries were addicting. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly and was very accommodating when I asked to split the payment between cash and card. The woman that handed us the drinks are was very welcoming and kind. Love that it's a hidden little gem of a spot. Will definitely visit again.

Google
Not designed to be a hangout spot, it's just a grab-and-go type of tea joint. The service is excellent and the flavors of their twisted potatoes are delicious but just too expensive for that little snack. There isn't much to say in this review, unfortunately. I ordered a Frozen Paradise Slush-Tea for the kids, sans the tea part because I didn't want them having the caffeine, so the gentleman made it with water instead and they thought it was so good. I wish this little shop lots of luck and success but personally, I wouldn't revisit.

I've only been here 2 times, one when they first opened and another time just last week. Both visits were solely for the potato twists! The first time was a good experience, I really liked it, but the potato twists didn't have much flavor. I totally forgot about this place for a long time until I was craving some potato twists last week. I came back with my brothers and it was like I remembered; the twists were inexpensive but quite smaller than ones at fairs/festivals but that was alright! I ordered the BQQ, and sour cream & chives. I was actually quite disappointed when I ate them because they still didn't have a lot of flavor and they were also really greasy! I didn't eat much of it and just gave the rest to my family to eat, and even they didn't like it much too. Maybe next time I'll try their drinks, they seem good! I really hope they improve on their potato twists also!

Yelp
My sister-in-law helped me order Twisteas on Thursday 6/6/2024 for a fundraiser and boy was I so happy to try them out! We got the following drinks both with full sugar: Mango Tango: - Mango black with basil seeds, lychee bits and mango jelly - SoOoO good. The drink was so refreshing and thirst-quenching on a scorching day. I got this full sweet but the ice had melted by the time I got the drink and so the sweetness was perfect. I enjoyed eating the bits of basil seeds, lychee, and mango jelly - reminds me of tastea, but less over-poweringly sweet. So delicious, I highly recommend. Arctic Lychee: - Lychee and passion fruit green tea slush with lychee bits - My husband's drink. I enjoyed the blend of lychee and passion fruit flavors, which complimented each other well. I liked how the slush was a green tea base so you still got some sort of minor caffeine kick. This drink was also a nice pick-me-up on a hot day! I'll definitely be back to try out more drinks!

Yelp
Good service and great drinks! Reasonable pricing. Get the fries!!!! They're delicious.

Yelp
I used to come here solely for their potato twist sticks because it is a snack you can't find anywhere else. Their drink menu is big and very unique (drink styles that you will most certainly not find anywhere else). I will say their drinks are pretty expensive but it is unique and they include a variety of toppings and flavors per drink. It seemed that there was only one person working the entire place so it took a while to get our drink. In addition, my mom ordered the cane-gerine with no crystal boba and it says it on the sticker too, but the barista ended up putting it in either the way. We weren't too upset about it seeing how it was just him working alone. The place is kind of tiny so there isn't much seating. I would come back for their unique drink menu but definitely for their snacks, just disappointed it's so expensive!

Yelp
Came here from the reviews and found that Twisteas has a diverse menu. There are fruit teas, milk teas, and even a section for sugar cane juice. It seemed like different versions of the sugar cane concoctions were out but the one we ordered tasted pretty good. Milk tea and fruit tea flavor-wise, you can tell the flavoring is artificial. They have super catchy names though and pretty fast service. They have free parking in the plaza but it can get crowded. Drinks are pretty standard.

Yen L.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by the tea menu at Twisteas. It's a small boba shop with an extensive menu that includes boba, sugar cane juice, and milk tea. I ordered the sugar cane drink hoping that it the same as a sugar cane juice I would get at Vietnamese vendors. However, I was pretty disappointed with the flavors. It's bland and not as sweet. I'm not sure if the drink was diluted down. The milk tea was flavorful, not too overwhelmingly sweet.

Yelp
Still my favorite boba place in the SGV. Can't beat their taste, value, and service. They also do many fundraisers with local schools, so it's obvious they care about the community too. Love small businesses like this, you really see their heart and soul. Also, their decorations are adorable and seasonal. Only con is they're a small place, and if it's during peak hours (after school) forget about finding seating. But if you go during off peak hours with 3 people or less, you're fine. It's not far from me, but it's also not really in an area I go often. If it was, I'd visit more frequently. Definitely go support them, they're great.

Ana T.

Yelp
Very easy parking as the plaza is not too busy. Interior is nice and clean. If there's nobody in the front, just click the little bell to let them know you're ready to order. I tried the can(e)nergy and hazelnut milk tea. They were good and refreshing.

Elena C.

Yelp
Ordered plain ol' milk tea, and it's consistent with it's namesake. Give a little bit time to your tea, don't drink it immediately because the boba is warm. If you hit it straight from the bottom, it's taste like chinese warm dessert. Wait, maybe that's the concept? Keeping it with the namesake?

Nikki C.

Yelp
The pineapple mayhem Love watching them make the fresh pressed sugar cane drinks also

Andrew H.

Yelp
Great service and food! I've been coming here for the last 3 years. I'm very basic and always get the same drink every time. N'ice to Matcha. The food is a plus also, not many boba places these days sell food. Always love coming back. One thing is try to avoid going around 6-7 PM mainly due to the schools near by and in the same plaza there is an after school program that the kids like to block the doors. It's gets crowded fast.

Vincent C.

Yelp
Ordered item A1- Plain O'l milk tea, 1/2 sugar and easy ice. The drink and service are great. Definitely will come back to try other drinks.

Stephanie H.

Yelp
We were able to preorder close to 50 items and they had them ready when we walked there with our school club. Thank you for the good service and great snacks and drinks!!!

Tim E.

Yelp
There was one young man behind the counter and luckily the peeps before us were his friends. So they let us order first. My friend said this place is good for her family so I went to pickup something refreshing for da family. I got the large paradise which is a mixture of fruit flavors and finely chopped fruit bits. I for four of those and a matcha with pudding and a regular milk tea. They also have French fries so I picked up their bbq flavor which turned out okay. After I placed my order another two families came in to wait patiently for my order to get through. The place has some seats for waiting but it's not really a hangout spot. The strip mall is dead so plenty of parking. Probably best to place a phone order since they are understaffed.

Benny C.

Yelp
Parking: This business is located in a small shopping center. Been here several times and have never encountered issues with finding parking. Most of the businesses in this shopping center looked like they are either closed or don't have much customers which contributes to the good parking situation. Service: Through my past visits, all the staff working has been very kind, welcoming, and friendly. I always like to try something new during each visit to just experience the entire menu and the staff there are always good with making recommendations for me. Menu: You'll find anything you can typically expect at similar places that serve milk tea/boba drinks. Some other places do not offer appetizers or foods but this place does.. which is a plus! You don't have to go make multiple trips to get your drinks and food. Food: If you're stopping in I'd definitely recommending trying their chili bbq seasoned fries along with their sour cream seasoned fries. Perfect to go along with any one of their fruit teas or milk teas.

Connie L.

Yelp
Jasmine green tea is so good here. I would get it 75% sweet & it would be perfect! XS

Kurtis C.

Yelp
After grabbing lunch next door, my wife and I naturally found ourselves peeking into Twisteas to indulge just a bit more. Can't forget the bev. Normally I don't really do sugary bevs. I'd rather consume my calories with food rather than drinks, but today I felt like treating myself a little. I ordered a Wild Strawjito and my wife got their milky (milky way?) boba. Both were great! If you enjoy fruity, refreshing drinks then consider the Strawjito. Bits of pineapple, strawberry at the bottom, with a very refreshing juice/tea mixture. As a leaf-juice fan, I really enjoyed being able to taste the tea. A lot of places like to pump so much sugar into beverages like this where it becomes too sweet, but not here. The milky way boba was good too! If you like brown sugar, this is the drink to get. I thought it was perfectly sweet and the boba was good too, and that's coming from someone who doesn't really care for boba. The drinks were a perfect way to end our lunch. They also offer sugar cane juice which is pretty neat because I don't really see that often, especially in a boba shop!

Ken H.

Yelp
I usually never leave any bad reviews. But I paid $9 for this popcorn chicken. Just look at it it's barely half portion or anything in it. Come on . My brother and his elementary friends come here and hang out. You can't do this to the kids .

Matt S.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday afternoon with some friends. One of my friends recommended it so we decided to try. I ordered the matcha slush. It comes with vanilla pudding already, but I added boba to it. The drink itself isn't as icy as a slush, more so like a smoothie. I actually preferred it to be prepared this way! The consistency, texture, and flavors were all on point! Only downside is that the drink came out to around $7.50. Pretty pricey for boba!

Amy L.

Yelp
My family LOVES this place. We have been going back time and time again because the drinks have not been disappointing. My favorite is the jasmine milk tea and the rose milk tea! My sister orders for me and we do either 25% or 50% sweet and it's so perfect because you can really taste the tea flavor! We made the mistake of not adjusting the sweetness level one time and it was just way too sweet for us. We also order my dad the fruity drinks like last time we ordered a kiwi flavor one and he loved it as well! All the drinks here so far are VERY good and I would go to as far to say this is my one of my top favorite boba places near my house! I would highly recommend to my friends and would time and time come back again.

Brian H.

Yelp
I was never really a big fan of Twisteas because, I've always found their drinks to be very sweet despite requesting a lower sugar percentage. After like a 4-5 year hiatus, I've decided to come back and try it out again. That time, I got Cane Solo which is Sugar Cane juice. It tasted pretty good. However, today I went and ordered the same thing and the sugar cane juice came out very brown. I've noticed the worker bringing out a bucket of sugar canes and it looked pretty old, lacking in color but, I was giving the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure he knew it was very old but, yet still made the juice for me. I've took a couple sips and basically threw the drink away. ($7 worth!) It tasted stale and the sugar wasn't even potent. (Mad at myself for not taking a photo of my drink) Verdict: Don't even come here. I'm definitely not coming back here after giving them the benefit of the doubt. This place has been run down due to the pandemic so the quality has spiraled downward. It was only one worker in the morning/afternoon so the wait times, quality, customer service all gone bad. Can't believe the worker was willing to serve a customer spoiled sugar cane juice.

Ricky S.

Yelp
I found this place a few years ago when I was scouting new boba places. There's so much competition now, and this place is an underdog because I do like their drinks. They're located in a really dead strip mall and that's probably why they don't get enough attention. The parking lot is usually always empty. When you walk in, you'll see that it's a small place, so not somewhere you'd sit down and catch up with friends. I've had a couple of their drinks, but I always come back for their Milky Way Taro! It's one of my favorite drinks and it's preventing me from trying anything else. It's made with real taro as they say and the sago really adds some nice texture (for me, it texture feels frozen initially but once you bite into them it's soft). I haven't had a concoction like this anywhere else. Lastly, don't forget their stamp card! They don't usually give one until you've asked for it. Overall, I like the place because of their drinks. It's not situated in the best plaza but because of that, it's easy to get in and out. If I lived closer, I'd be visiting here more often.

Ann T.

Yelp
Thank god we saw their sign on the back of the building while we were heading down the road cuz we were actually on our way to a different boba place. Glad we stopped here! Gotta say to start it off, the dude that worked the counter was super friendly, energetic, and helpful with our orders. My friend got their sugar cane drink and I took a sip of it. Nice, natural sweetness and it went perfectly well with the lychee flavor and bits inside. I got the: 1) Tropical Extravaganza: -Super, super refreshing. -You taste both the peach and pineapple tea (pineapple was slightly stronger in my opinion, but I liked it !). -The longan and jackfruit bits are tasty toppings that other boba places don't really offer. Went great with the smooth, sweetness of the grass jelly. -I know, bad, but they used really crushed, soft ice and it absorbed the flavor of the tea and I loved munching on it... -Drink really made me want to go to a beach to be quite honest. 2) Large Twisted Fries (Spicy BBQ flavor): -Hands down better than Potato Corner LOL. -The size of their large had way more fries than Potato Corner's Mega size. -They also actually push down the paper into the cup, giving you a massive amount of fries (that also spilled out into the bag). -Definitely worth it. -The spicy BBQ wasn't spicy at all, but was still a pleasant treat to have. GET THE STAMP CARD FOR THIS PLACE. I'm already pre-planning what I'm gonna have here the next time I go because they have so many unique drinks and toppings and it's all so so good. I don't usually get fruit flavored drinks at boba places, opting more for milk tea options since not many other places offer much uniqueness in terms of what they offer, but not Twisteas. They got so, so many different drinks to try. Sucks that they don't have those tornado potatoes any more because the ghost pepper flavor sounded really pog, but I'd still cop the fries here. Yummy snack that's worth it ! Can't wait until the next time I come back !

Kelly N.

Yelp
I love this place so I'm really sad about how things went this past visit :( I understand that it was really busy but I waited 40 minutes and paid $8 for popcorn chicken that was mostly breading and chicken scraps. My slush was half melted too.

Cheri R.

Yelp
Swung by for the first time last month. It's an unassuming boba place that was close by to where I was having lunch. The drinks are interesting because they come with toppings already so it seems they craft their drinks very intentionally, which I really like. The guy manning the shop was super friendly (didn't catch his name) and gave me a run down of the content of the drink. I got the jasmine milk tea and was really pleasantly surprised at the boba texture and how good that was! And it was under $7 which is a pretty good price compared to other boba places nowadays. I only docked one star because I went again this past weekend and the drink was too sweet, boba a tiny bit too mushy, and guy who was there this time just didn't care as much about service. With more consistency this would be a solid 5/5.

Maria C.

Yelp
Quick service, friendly and understanding! I had spilled my boba from another shop and called ahead for a new one on my drive home, it's right next to the freeway exit. The drink was freshly prepared and I admire the cute names of food items and spice levels. Next time I'm in the area, I'll try their other flavors. Be mindful of the parking lot, although it was raining, lots of cars coming in and out of the plaza.

April H.

Yelp
I had been here before but I know this is not my first time here ordering a drink from here! It was my fourth time ordering a plain Ol' milk tea! I want to try something new!

Pui Y.

Yelp
I stopped by again for their teas. Yummy! So happy that they are still around! I tried their popcorn chicken today. I ordered level 1 spicy and well... It was still a bit too spicy for me. The tangy sauce helped to make it less hot.

Monica N.

Yelp
It's a small drink shop in the corner of a small plaza, but don't let that fool you. The drinks are solid and the popcorn chicken is really good. We got the Milky Way, Colcaneo, and Artic Lychee. The Milky Way is a brown sugar milk with boba. You can opt for honey if you don't like brown sugar. The boba was very hot through the cup, so you can tell it is fresh. The drink has the right amount of sweetness with no adjustments. The Colcanoe is a sugarcane and coconut juice drink with coconut bits and grass jelly. They press the sugarcane there so it's made to order. The Artic Lychee is a lychee and passionfruit slush with lychee bits. Both drinks are very refreshing and hits the spot after a warm SoCal day. We opted for the Garlic Thai popcorn chicken. It has a nice crunchy texture and juicy interior. The seasonings made it smell mouthwatering, and it didn't last that long either. It's a great place to drop by.

Sandy C.

Yelp
After having lunch next door, what better way for dessert than milk tea! I tried the Milky Way Boba. I'm very picky when it comes to milk tea but this was exceptionally good. If you're a brown sugar lover like myself, this is the drink for you. It didn't taste artificially sweetened nor overpowering of sugar. It was the right amount of sweet and tea. The boba was soft and chewy. My husband ordered a Wild Strawjito. Surprisingly, it comes with real bits of pineapple and strawberry inside. It was a mix of tea and juice. He is someone who doesn't care for sugary beverages but genuinely enjoyed this drink. We drank these so fast we forgot to take a photo. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu next time!

Mickiela M.

Yelp
The employees are unprofessional and condescending. Ordered 3 teas and all of them were wrong. When we asked to correct it was an issue. And it takes about 15-20 minutes for the teas to be prepared. No customers should've been first clue to how the business is. Do not recommend. Plenty of the options with professional staff in area.

Jim B.

Yelp
Love the variety of drinks! Great service and the drinks taste very good. Reasonable prices as well.

Sharlene C.

Yelp
Alex the owner is almost always there! He's happy to help you figure out what you want and will customize your drink to your liking! Off New just off the 10 Fwy going Southbound. Worth the trip and easy parking in the strip plaza where it's located.

Vivian C.

Yelp
Amazing discovery! We were immediately greeted with a level of enthusiasm that is hard to find in this day and age, and I love the honesty and confidence they had when I asked for their recommendation (you wouldn't believe the amount of "everything is good" replies I receive at other places), and I'm glad I listened because I really enjoyed the drink I got! So usually I would automatically drift towards the milk tea section, but when I saw that they had an entire menu dedicated to sugar cane drinks, I immediately got one of those since I love sugar cane! After the first sip I felt like I entered a universe where covid disappeared and I was transported to a tropical wonderland because of how sweet and fruity this delicious drink was. Truly a tasty and marvelous way to end the night.

Taylor Z.

Yelp
Got the new Thai cha tea with crystal boba. Pretty solid, just sweet enough and not overly. The crystal boba was new and I liked the texture.

Ricardo R.

Yelp
This boba place is good, but they always run out of boba & also they always add small amount of boba ! If they change that I will give 5 starts

Richie Z.

Yelp
Great boba and potato twist but the cashier baited us into ordering the ghost pepper garlic parmesan seasoning. "It tastes like hot Cheetos," she said. Girl, I don't know what hot Cheetos you've been eating but they don't even come close to the ghost pepper seasoning! And yes, I've tried the black "Xxtra Flamin Hot" Cheetos before. I'm sure we must have looked hilarious coughing, sniffling, and crying while eating the potato twist. It turned out to be very tasty despite the spiciness level and we finished it all! Next time I'd probably go for a regular garlic parm or the BBQ flavor though... Anyways, I hope the staff had a good laugh watching us struggle through the potato twist. Most potato twists I've had are seriously disappointing but Twisteas does a great job!

Pauline M.

Yelp
Twistea is very much like tastea, and they even told me they are like tastea except they use real fruit! So bonus points for being fresh. The plaza isn't very popular and the times I've been here I haven't seen a lot of people. The good drinks are definitely the fruit ones - the passion fruit green tea is a good item to get. There are real bits of fruit in the teas.

Joanna C.

Yelp
Been bookmarking this place for the longest time. Finally got to try it. The drink I ordered was pretty good- Tropical Extravaganza. I also ordered a twisted potato, herb and cheese flavor. Not bad. I always see a long line during those Asian festivals or night market for twisted potato so I never got a chance to try it. I'm glad I was able to try it at this place and best thing is that... No line! Lol. I believe their price is cheaper here compare to those night market too. Don't forget to get your stamp card~$4 a stamp.

Traci Y.

Yelp
Drinks are tasty and seasoned fries are addictive. Service always friendly and prompt.

Alfred H.

Yelp
I feel kinda bad with this rating. I'd say it's in-between a 2-3 but just didn't have a great experience here overall. The customer service was fine and the people were friendly so that's why 2-3.. but as far as the other factors I was unimpressed. I got the macchiato milk tea and it tasted kind of bland. I didn't love the boba. I guess I've been going to too many places that make their boba in house fresh. The tea didn't have much flavor. Usually I always get 1/4 sugar.. so the sweetness had nothing to do with it. Also that day I think they forgot to turn on and roast their black teas or something so a few drink options were not available. I think that if I had gotten the twisty potato snack and maybe a fruit drink I would have appreciated Twisteas more, but that day I wasn't particularly in the mood for potatoes and a fruity drink. Also this place is not like a cozy cafe type spot where you can chill, drink tea, and chat with a friend.. so really all I can base my review off of is on taste and service. Overall service was fine.. they were nice, but taste for the drink I ordered just wasn't there this time.

Josephine C.

Yelp
I always pass by this place and on to way to work or go home. Also my co-worker loves this place. The menu is easy to read. I ordered everything peachy and large sour cream chives French fries during lunch in September. My drink was easy to make so I had to wait in the fries. The fries are cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. My drink had diced up fruit with ice and it taste good. The ace is in the shopping center with the pho place. Parking is small. I would come back again. FYI, order ghost pepper fries and get a card to keep track of drinks.

Shannon Z.

Yelp
This is probably going to one of my new favorite tea places to go to! Twisteas is a pretty new tea store in 626 located near New Ave and Hellman that sells specialized fresh fruity teas and potato swirls! It's a small store but a great place to get tea to-go! It was my first time here but I knew that I wanted the Passionate-TEA which is a passion fruit and pineapple black tea with longan bits and pineapple bits and it was SO REFRESHING. The fruit pieces in the drink tasted real and super fresh and it complemented the drink so well. Even though I don't normally like my drinks 100% sweetness, this drink was pretty damn close to perfect. My sister got the Mango Tango which was mango black tea with basil seeds, lychee bits and mango jelly with 100% sweetness and it was really good too! Definitely would want to go with less sugar with this because it was definitely on the sweeter side. I definitely want to try all of their fruity specialty drinks because they all look so good. It's probably going to be even more refreshing with less sugar in their drinks AND don't forget, they have a Yelp check in for 10% off! The store is located in a small plaza with plenty of parking and they give you a stamp card as well.

Michelle Z.

Yelp
My sister wanted to come here because she likes looking up boba places. I was surprised I never heard of this place. It is in a little plaza on the corner of New Ave and Hellman near some pho place. I would've never noticed it because it looks pretty unassuming when you drive by. There is a small parking lot but at peak times, I think it may be hard to find spaces. The shop was empty when we walked in. I ordered the Mango Tango, but there were a lot of other flavors I wanted to try. Mango Tango comes mango black tea, basil seeds, lychee, and mango jelly. Mango jelly basically tastes like lychee jelly, so I wouldn't recommend making a decision based on that. The drink costs 3.95, which is really cheap especially for all the toppings you get. The drink itself was pretty sweet. I forgot to ask to customize the sweetness. My sister's drink, the passion fruit one, was more tart and not sweet, so I think it's based on your fruit tea flavor. I didn't get much lychee bits in my drink; everytime I got a piece, I forgot I even had it in there in the first place because of how infrequent I got it. I like this place. It offers cheap but good drinks. Some places compromise taste and quality with cheap prices, but this place manages to combine both. There are a lot of other flavors I want to try out the next time I come back. Also, don't forget to check in for 10 percent off!

Yelp
I've had Twisteas on my radar for awhile, ever since I saw the photos of their potato twists on Yelp. I finally got a chance to give them a try and was quite sad that I didn't visit Twisteas earlier. Twisteas is located in a part of Monterey Park that doesn't have too many boba shops (although if you drive five or so minutes, you'll probably hit several). It's located right off the 10 freeway on New Avenue and Hellman in a pretty tiny plaza with a very packed parking lot. Good luck finding a spot, especially as the Vietnamese restaurant seems to be quite packed. Hellman is also a pretty busy street, so be prepared for a short walk. The storefront is pretty small - most of the kitchen area takes over the space. There is a small bench area at the front of the store for people waiting for drinks or wanting to take pictures of their drinks. The layout and drink menu really reminds me of Tastea, another popular drink café located in the Orange County area. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the majority of Twistea's drinks have pre-concocted ingredients, flavors, etc. There are the classic drinks, mojiteas, their own specialized concoctions, as well as hot drinks, etc. They also have some snacks available. Workers were really friendly and eager to answer any questions that I had. I wanted to try a popular drink, but I was also craving something more tangy. I ended up choosing the Mango Tango - $3.95 with mango black tea, basil seeds, lychee bits, and mango jelly. I added boba for an additional fifty cents. I thought the drink was super refreshing and quite tasty. Price was actually on the cheaper side for the size of the drink (all drinks are one-sized). I love the fact that the drinks have various ingredients already advertised. I think you can always change it up, but adding ingredients might cost more money. Mango black tea was refreshing and definitely what I was looking for - the basil seeds and the jelly were a nice addition. I did think the boba didn't have the additional "honey" flavor that most other stores had, but the boba was cooked well and had a good consistency. My friend came by and ordered 4 drinks off their menu as well and said that her family enjoyed all the drinks that she ordered. tl;dr - Workers are really friendly. Drinks come out quickly - there's a flavor for everybody. I really liked Mango Tango, but I'm excited to return to try some of the other flavors. Don't forget the stamp card and the Yelp check-in offer!

Yelp
All I have to say is that I like potatoes. I also tried 3 drinks, and mango tango was the best one.

Yelp
Have been here for at least 30 times, this is how they treat a loyal customer when you ordered no ice. Come here if you don't mind getting a drink like this NEVER COME BACK TWISTEAS 3/1/2020 2:30 pm. Bye girls and the owner of Twisteas

Yelp
It wasn't busy on a Sunday afternoon. I found this place via yelp and de used to give it a try. It's a small place in a small mall area. Parking lot isn't too big, but should be sufficient. We each ordered a drink which tasted as it should. We also ordered 2 potato twists: ghost pepper one and sour cream and onion. The ghost pepper one was spicy, but I didn't think it was numbing like I've had before with wings. The sour cream and onion one also wasn't that great. It was kinda sad when the powder just fell off and onto my clothes rather than staying on the potato and into my mouth. Overall, a decent place for drinks. Would come again if in the area

Yelp
A fruity addition to the tea shop scene, which is nice for a change! They do a lot of fruit tea concoctions (ask which fruits are fresh if you want to avoid syrups/canned fruit) The guy making our drinks was so nice and let us try our drinks before serving it up to make sure we approved ---pineapple mojito: ordered it half sugar and it was a good amount of sweetness, refreshing with pineapple bits ---potato spiral: fried in batter with sour cream and onion powder, YUM would definitely recommend it NOTE: they have a stamp card if you want to become loyal

Yelp
Update! Came here today several years later than my first trip and it was good. The air conditioning was good inside, it was a hot day outside, I ordered the regular Boba milk tea and it comes with vanilla pudding and grass jelly. Great service, thanks!
