"Popular food truck Twisted Grilled Cheese, known for its seriously over-the-top takes on the classic sandwich, will soon debut its first permanent location on Washington Avenue. The restaurant’s owners announced in a Facebook post last week that Twisted Grilled Cheese will arrive later this year at the Washington Plaza shopping center at 5555 Washington Avenue. The eatery got its start as a food truck parked at the Galleria Food Truck park, and has earned plenty of fans thanks to its decadent grilled cheese sandwiches, including vegan and halal options. At present, Twisted Grilled Cheese menu boasts offerings like a sandwich stuffed with pepperoni and five different types of cheese, a smoky barbecue option that involves Vermont white cheddar, pickled jalapenos, and tender brisket. There’s also a buffalo chicken grilled cheese sandwich, Halal philly grilled chicken, and Twisted’s riff on a burger. Sides include Parmesan french fries, truffle onion rings, and tomato-basil soup. Expect Twisted Grilled Cheese to open in the Heights sometime this fall. In the meantime, the food truck is currently operational and diners can order from the restaurant via GrubHub, UberEats, and Doordash." - Amy McCarthy

The last time I visited a twisted cheese sandwich location was at the post in downtown Houston so I decided to give this location a try. Last time I had a Philly cheesesteak grilled cheese sandwich so this time I decided to have the Philly chicken grilled cheese sandwich and just like the last time, it did not disappoint. The flavors were there the taste was delicious. The textures had a nice crunch on the outside with the soft gooey cheese on the inside, which tasted fabulous. The environment was very welcoming, but when I first got there, the customer service was not as welcoming, but later on warmed up and thanked me for coming.

Google
I saw an ad for the Twisted Grilled Cheese on Instagram, and while visiting Houston I decided to stop in and give it a try. I definitely wasn’t disappointed. The server was fast and was great with recommendations on what to try. The restaurant atmosphere was nice, clean and very modern. I definitely will return when I make a visit again to Houston. I had… Smokehouse Brisket Smokehouse Brisket Smoked Beef Brisket with Pickled Jalapenos, Onion Rings, White American Cheese, Vermont White Cheddar Cheese, & Mozzarella Cheese. With Sweet Waffle Fries, & Twisted Tea on the side.…. Everything was so damn good.

Google
The food here is absolutely spectacular. It takes a little bit to come out, but that's only because the food is made fresh. Everything I ate was delicious, but my favorite pairing is the Philly cheesesteak grilled cheese with their tomato soup. I will absolutely be back!

It took me 40 minutes to get my to go order. I had to ask 3 times about it. One of the workers said they think my food was given to someone else by mistake. She apologized, gave me a refund and quickly made my order. I ordered the smokehouse brisket grilled cheese (- the jalapeño) and it was quite tasty. The brisket was good, but I thought the barbecue sauce was too sweet. Cheesecake bites were too sweet too, but soft and gooey. Their customer service was good. If I go back, I’ll ask for the brisket in no sauce if it can be made that way.

Google
For a place that classifies themselves as gourmet grilled cheese, they need to look up the word. This place is standard bar food, and the bar was closed when I was there. The restaurant was almost empty of patrons. They were out of ice cream early on Saturday evening. The one good thing was the one employee working. He was great. I felt like this place was dying.

Google
The grilled cheese had great flavor and was cooked very well. The Philly cheesesteak one was good but it was pretty small. The fries were just ok and didn’t seem super fresh. It was just expensive for the result. I would rather them charge more and make it more over the top. Or charge less and make me order more. The nice thing is that there are lots of options, drinks and appetizers. I would be happy to come back, but I won’t seek it out.

Google
Delicious grilled cheese sandwiches with a twist. They were super tasty, especially the bread: buttery and crispy. The waffle fries were seasoned perfectly. Definitely will visit again.

Google
I think this place is for people who love grilled cheese sandwiches. I visited this place for lunch and I ordered the cheesesteak and my girlfriend ordered the brisket sandwiches. We also had an order of regular fries and sweet potato fries. After trying all the food, I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone unless they love grilled cheese sandwiches. For the price, you can get a better value at another sandwich place. The service was great, and the employees are kind . The wait for the food was a bit long for a sandwich.

Yelp
One of the food trucks at Porky's Atascocita Great ambiance. Clean. Yummy food. Fresh.

Yelp
Please make sure to train your cook....as this was anything but a grilled cheese. When I hear grilled cheese, I think butter soaked bread, pressed to make sure the cheese melts and is glued to the bread. This was a hot mess. My niece and nephew were visiting for the weekend, so we brought them here for our International Themed Day. I've been wanting to try this place and was actually mad because they were closed the last time I was here, and I now know that was because GOD loves me. They ordered the Spinach Artichoke & Chicken Philly Cheese Sandwiches. They forced themselves to finish it. Besides waiting for over 30 mins for these grilled cheeses, the bread was thick and dry. Some of the cheese wasn't even melted. Needless to say, I would never recommend this for anyone. Enter at your own risk, you've been warned.

Yelp
Why 5 stars? Because the fancy grilled cheese concepts get me every time. --- --- --- When researching where to eat at POST, I really wanted to try ChopnBlok. The ratings were just too amazing to resist it. But the great thing about being married is food sharing. So I ordered my thing and she was torn between about three of the vendors. My 2nd choice was Twisted Grilled Cheese, so when that was one she was considering, it was a home run for me. I turned on the charm and persuasion and next thing you know, I was getting to eat my favorite two stalls. She went with the Smokehouse Brisket, which is probably what I would have chosen myself. It was just as delicious as I hoped it would be. The wife didn't love it at first, but it grew on her. I didn't need to be warmed up to it: anytime you put toasted bread, cheese and meat together, it's a party I want an invite to. And I'll be the last one to leave.

Yelp
Ambiance on a Sunday Afternoon is very slow and chill. The music is very hipster. We sat at the bar which smelled very sanitized. I can say the food is made to order fresh.. however most of the menu items were unavailable or sold out. The Bryant was helpful in helping us decide what to order. My party of 2 enjoyed NON GRILLED CHEESE ITEMS, ie the Twisted Burger and Deluxe Grilled Chicken Sandwich

Yelp
I remember when they opened up years ago in Katy and so I was excited when they opened up another branch here since I never got to try it. It does have an artsy cute vibe inside the restaurant. One of the biggest pros is that it is Halal, so it's a perfect spot of Muslims. Unfortunately the pros stop there since this place missed the spot for me. The service wasn't great. It took over 25 minutes for our food to come out and we were the only people at the restaurant. We ordered the Halal buffalo chicken, Halal, Philly, cheesesteak, and the brisket sandwich. All three had little stuffing and more bread. Of the three, the tastiest was the brisket because it had more flavor. The other two I would not recommend. We did order the Parmesan fries and they were pretty good. Overall, we will not be returning here.

Yelp
Food is made to order which ensures its soooo fresh and crisp! I got the original grilled cheese and it comes with various cheeses. The bread is so crisp and the cheese is super melty (gooey goodness)! I also got the tomato basil soup as a side. It was a little spicer which I really enjoyed. It is more of a thick soup rather than super runny. I liked it a lot. They also have a bar in the center of the restaurant. Fun upbeat vibes

Jonaya P.

Yelp
Very bland. Idk how you could mess up a grilled cheese, but you could. No flavor. Not enough meat on the sandwich. Luckily, I was being treated so I didn't pay for my food. I wouldn't eat here again.

J P.

Yelp
Grilled cheese tasted great. It was purchased from the food truck in Humble, TX. It took a while for the sandwich to be ready, but once received the sandwich was warm, crispy, and flavorful.

Ashanti A S.

Yelp
Very artsy interior! Staff is friendly and food made fresh! My avocado grilled cheese was yummy, the burger was great, and the funnel cake fries were demolished by my picky kids.... Would recommend

Yelp
Loved our visit to Twisted Grilled Cheese. Our son wanted to celebrate his birthday with his favorite grilled cheese, so we decided on the brick and mortar Twisted Grill Cheese restaurant off Washington. We thoroughly loved the "twisted" off the wall decor, with graffiti and an actual skateboard on the top ceiling, the caution tape, and carnival mirrors. The multicolored tile counters with bar stools in the middle gave this a particularly fresh vibe. The lady was also so kind that when she learned it was my sons birthday, she said she would bring something sweet for him." Turned out she gave us twisted funnel fries on the house! We thoroughly enjoyed the twisted halal steak nachos with cheese, even though it was an appetizer it served as my main entree. The birthday boy course got his kids grilled cheese (American, white cheese) and waffle fries and loved it. We also ordered the TGC chicken tenders and waffle fries, and the chicken was surprisingly pretty juicy and not dry. We thought the BLT+E was a bit of a disappointment, it didn't have enough egg and the taste of the sandwich didn't really come together that well. Overall, we enjoyed our visit to this restaurant, especially with the sweet gift at the end. Make sure you also apply your 10% off check in deal off Yelp!

Yelp
So I really want to like this place, the prices are just steep for the given food, so I'd say this may be a treat like outing for my family. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken (Halal) Grilled Cheese $11.99; made it combo with waffle fries and a drink for additional $5.99 (there is also options of sweet potato fries and or kettle chips which each cost a little more). My total meal cost being $17.98. My partner ordered the Halal Philly Cheesesteak $13.99 adding on jalapeño Cheese Sauce $2.49 and making it a combo $5.99 totaling $22.47, ouch bougie grilled cheese. My sandwich as expected was on the greasy side, lots of cheese means tons of grease. The Buffalo chicken was a little too diced for my liking on a sandwich, it made the sandwich appear very skinny, or perhaps it lacked a bit of chicken, but overall it was still super filling. The waffle fries were delicious served in a small metal bowl alongside my sandwich. Their fountain drink options are 4 Stubborn brand sodas (vanilla cream soda was out major bummer) & 4 Pepsi product options. Kids meals are 7.99. & 8.99 for those 10 years and younger. They come with waffle fries and a drink. The establishment has a full selection bar in the center with plenty of bar seating. There are about 7/8 additional tables of various seating with max occupancy of 75. Really neat decor from mural decked ceiling to fun mirrored wall art. The staff was exceptional and super friendly. While my family enjoyed my visit can't say I'll be running back. They have a happy hour limited lunch option Monday-Friday $11.99 (perhaps I'll return during this special offering).

Yelp
I loved my pepperoni grilled cheese sandwich! It was hot and delicious. If I would have ate two I would have. My mom has the avocado club grill cheese and a soup. The service was fast as it was a slow time of day which was great. My only complaint is there were no milk shakes for us to try. The staff was friendly . The restaurant was clean as well.

Yelp
This place has so much potential but there is a lot of room for improvement. You can tell that a lot of money and time went into decorating this place and it has a good vibe when you walk in if you can ignore the parts that need a little tlc. The menu was the first red flag. There were so many items that had stickers saying sold out. If you are going to take the time to sticker up your menu just make a new one. Then my friend ordered an item that did not have a sticker on it and they were out! The soda machine only had like 3 working sodas none of which were diet. They did not have waffle fries as advertised and did not tell us when ordering. I was disappointed really with everything. $22 for a wrap with the wrong fries and a soda I didn't even want. It was a good wrap but not good enough to return.

Yelp
So my husband has been eyeing this spot ever since he found the food truck over a year ago. I decided to treat him and try it out. We both had the 5 Cheese Pepperoni Pizza grilled cheese sandwich. I also had a side of tomato soup. Overall it was pretty good but it didn't blow me away. There was a slight bit of inconsistency....my sandwich appeared to be more cheesy than my husbands or mine may have been heated longer then his because I had a good cheese pull and he did not. He said his sandwich was kind of dry. I also wish that the bread was more buttery, but that's just our preference. The tomato soup was standard I should have gotten fries or chips because the combination was too acidic for me. My husband had a peanut butter milk shake and he was hoping for a bit more flavor which I agreed the peanut butter was subtle. We will come back to give them another try with a different sandwich and possibly the loaded fries to see if those options are better.

Yelp
This place came highly recommended well after today's experience I definitely will not be returning. I ordered the Brisket Cheese sandwich and the brisket definitely didn't taste like brisket. Being I'm not from Houston I don't know much about this place but seems like New Ownership has taken place and need some help. The Ambiance was dead to be a Friday night at 7pm music definitely not a hit

C M.

Yelp
I usually dont eat a lot of bread or cheese but tgis place was super yummy for cravings.

Joel D.

Yelp
Food is good, but the service takes longer than it should. I feel like they treat it like a food truck and don't have enough workers. One taking order and one making food. (Unless this was not the norm) Half of the place is a bar, but they don't serve alcohol? !? I saw a margarita machine and multiple taps... They are missing out on their potential by not utilizing their options fully. Overall- The food is good, but the dining experience could be improved and made into a place people want to hang at. (There's an apartment within walking distance)

William B.

Yelp
My family had avocado club sandwiches and a vegetarian sandwich (truffle mushrooms and cheese). All of the sandwiches were excellent. They brought back childhood nostalgia. I especially appreciate this restaurant's addition of a gluten free bread option. This is the only restaurant that I know of in Houston that makes such delicious grilled cheese sandwiches on gluten-free bread, so they have some new longtime customers in our family.

Gwen B.

Yelp
The worst. Food. Service. Management. I visited this establishment on rather a busier day. This was the sandwich that I received after waiting in line for 30-40 minutes. I brought back the sandwich because this was not the American classic we ordered which include ham, turkey, roast beef, and obviously 3 kind of cheddar. They told me that the meat melted in the cheese. This was legit the answer that I was given. They would not refund my money, made another sandwich that was just as bad. I might have not gotten my refund but I sure did wait in line and showed a bunch of people pictures of my first sandwich. I messaged management 3 different occasions and no one communicated it back. Terrible.

Maria E.

Yelp
Deliciously decadent. Decadently delicious. Great menu with saliva-inducing options. In addition to grilled cheese, they have awesome appetizer/side choices (fried pickles, mac-and-cheese balls, waffle fries, etc.). The smokehouse brisket was tasty but my boyfriend's tarragon lobster was even tastier. Dessert was the only "meh" part. The cheesecake donut holes sounded better than they tasted. If you feel like carbing out hard, this is a great spot for that.

Amber K.

Yelp
i went at 8:40pm on a Monday and they Close at 9:30 i ordered the brisket grilled cheese which is supposed to have jalapeños an onion ring and bbq sauce. I noticed my sandwich didn't have the onion ring so I politely asked if it could be fixed I was then advised they don't come with it anymore but none of the menus are updated to show that. the worker then proceeded to take my sandwhich and go to the back and calls me a "stupid dumb bitch" and when I asked who he was referring to he claimed to be talkin to the cook. I will never be back to this location and will be speaking with management tomorrow morning

Mercedes S.

Yelp
Exactly what I was craving! I wanted a grilled cheese so I googled best grilled cheese in Houston and it brought me here. I won't be back though! The three stars is for service issues. Unfortunately I tried to call to order over the phone Togo but nobody answered. So I ordered online via Uber eats to go and they received my order. When I got to the location, there was not one soul in the establishment. So for them to not answer, the phone was just plain laziness. Also the staff wasn't friendly or helpful. The place was absolutely empty.

Roland S.

Yelp
The Brisket sandwich combo cost around $22..It had little to no brisket on the sandwich.

Stacey S.

Yelp
Went in on a thur for lunch. Wasn't busy inside so we ordered the regular grilled cheese and some Mac and cheese balls. Shanequa...I know it's misspelled...sorry! Was the only worker in the whole restaurant which I thought was ridiculous and UNSAFE!!!!!!!! She was having to check people out, cook the food and take the orders thru doordash or whatever they use not to mention cleaning the front of the restaurant after customers! After seeing this if I was her I would find another job that appreciates nice employees bc that's what she was to us! The grilled cheese and the balls were really good!!! Find a new job sister you deserve to have some help but also safe!!!! One person is a restaurant especially a girl is unacceptable these days!!

Monica F.

Yelp
If you're going to come here, I recommend coming super hungry because this is going to fill you up with delicious, cheesy goodness! The Mister and I came here for lunch one day and I legit was full the rest of the day! I ordered the Smokehouse Brisket, which has beef brisket, pickled jalapenos, cheese and a BBQ sauce drizzle on top. It was so delicious and messy as all get out! Thankfully I had some wet naps in my handbag because I soon had messy, messy hands! For a drink, I had the Twisted Strawberry Limeade and it was so good. Service was fast and friendly, which is always a plus! Sit at the bar or sit at a table, the choice is yours. This place is in a strip center and they offer ample parking.

Erick M.

Yelp
The first time I went to this place I loved it had a perfect time, but the second time I went half of the drinks were not available as well as some of the menu items so I would recommend calling beforehand to see if it is worth the drive to go to, and then the third time I was stopped an hour before closing by an employee saying that they were closed and not taking orders. Recommend another grilled cheese place.

Lexie E.

Yelp
This place the food was fresh and had a variety of menu items . A couple items were out of stock . I had a classic grilled cheese with ham super good, savory and fresh . I originally wanted the brisket grilled cheese but they stated they were out of stock of it. I ordered a fountain drink but half of the drinks were out of order :/ . Super friendly staff ! The food was great it gets 5 stars . But the fact that not all items that were on the menu weren't available is a bit misleading makes me give the experience 3 stars :)

Gary W.

Yelp
As I stood at the counter mesmerized by the menu options thinking I was going to sample a simple grilled cheese, that was not the case. I finally decided to try the 5 cheese pepperoni. If you are a cheese lover, my hat off to you, but I found this was way too much cheese for me. I opened my sandwich scraped some cheese off and it was still too much. Everyone's taste buds are different so do not let me stop you from your ooey gooey goodness.

CJ M.

Yelp
Not bad surprisingly, was very cheesy and gooey, nice crisp bread. Had the classic sandwich with tomato bisque-very nice comfort food. We waited 20 minutes for the food to come out, (it wasn't a busy day), so get comfortable. Also, bummer downside: The cashier/counter woman was dis-pleased to say the least, you felt intrusive and like she was annoyed to take your order...Probably a bad day but was a little off-putting. Would go again when the need for comfort food hits.

Christie E.

Yelp
My friend brought me here during a recent trip to Houston and the grilled cheese sandwiches were really delicious We tried 2 different grilled cheese sandwiches; the truffle mushroom and the tarragon lobster. The tarragon lobster was very delicious, the truffle mushroom was just okay for me. I love brie and goat cheese, but they didn't really do it for me together as grilled cheese. However, I do think it's worth trying as everyone's tastebuds are different. This is definitely a spot worth checking out with friends to try out different grilled cheese sandwiches.

Samantha G.

Yelp
First time trying this place out and it was nice to try something new. The inside is neat looking. However the bathroom area smells strong and you can smell it when you pass. Service is friendly. The food was good but not worth the price. Very expensive. Fries are $7.99 and I was expecting a large portion enough to share and some. But no. To make it a combo it is $5.99 which is crazy to me. The soda option was sparse. The 5 cheese grilled cheese was good, can't mess that up, right? The smokehouse was okay, the brisket did lack the Smokey flavor. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this place again just because it is overpriced grilled cheese and cut potatoes.

Jazmin M.

Yelp
Let's start with I'm not a cheese fan, however a good grill cheese I can do. As you walk in you go to the right and place your order, you will receive a beeper. Food comes out warm. Location: Washington ave Parking: plenty, went @6:30 Staff: very friendly and helpful Covid: mask encourage, all employees were fully masked Price: average I went for the classic grilled cheese which consists of 5 different cheese, it was too cheese for me but decent. My son went for twisted burger and he love it! Friends tried brisket and was also approved. For side the Parmesan fries were a big hit. Will be giving this place another try!

Shaili B.

Yelp
I founded twisted grill cheese through Yelp a while ago and knew I wanted to try this place. I was in the area at memorial part so I decided to come to Twisted Grill Cheese for dinner on a random weekday. As a vegetarian I saw 3 vegetarian options- I did wish there were a few more options but. I did the spinach and artichoke Grill Cheese with fries and a drink which equalled a combo. It took a while to get the food and I was super excited to try it! I was a bit disappointed which the lack of flavor. It was creamy but I think there could of been more flavoring, sauce, etc. Since there was less options for vegetarians, I most likley wont be back. I do think this place could have huge potential especially with the location of the restaurant.

Eric B.

Yelp
I had heard a lot of good things about this spot, so wanted to check it out. I was right down the street during the late afternoon, so figured it would be a great time. Open entering, the interior aesthetics were not great. It reminded me of a cross between something from an airport and from an episode of Saved by the Bell. The service was nothing spectacular. You order at the counter, they page you to pick up your food, and you get your own drink refills. The food sucked, plain and simple. The chicken in the Buffalo chicken grilled cheese tasted like an overcooked frozen chicken biscuit. The bread was not great. Finally the cheese was okay. They sweet potato waffle fries were way overpriced $6.49, I believe, and they were soggy and greasy to top it off. Definitely overpriced at $20 with just a cup of water. All in all, this place was an absolute disappointment from all the hype. Will I go back? No, even if it was super cheap it was just not good.

Jae D.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying I have been a faithful customer of twisted grilled cheese for years... not anymore . So my location of choice has been the food truck since moving I decided to try their nearest store front location . After driving 40 mins in Houston traffic I arrived . Since it my first time in the restaurant I viewed the menu ordered my food and waited patiently as I always do . One thing I noticed it was one cook , one person at the register and one random woman walking around looking lost. The food took about 20 mins to make which is normal time for made to order food . The problem comes in the customer service of the cashier by the name of Bryant . Since I noticed they only had one cook I was courteous enough to forgo the waffle fries that came with my lunch special and opted for chips . Simple right ? No !.By this time I had my gotten my sandwich but i Was waiting for my chips . I had to wait an added 5-10 mins for chips (yea I know I could have gotten fries) the cashier the. proceeds to help 5 more people that I was ahead of . I remark "wow this is taking forever" and this cashier proceeds to yell back telling me sorry I had to wait 5 mins . At this time the restaurant is packed and he proceeds to berate and talk about me to other customers about how I couldn't wait . As I'm walking out of the door trying to IGNORE him he continues yelling . I ask hi. What his name is and he states his name is Ma'am . Yea real smart guy . Because of this unnecessary disrespectful exchange. I will no longer patron . I don't know if they realize it's a east as going to the store purchasing the ingredients and making it yourself for less . Customers come back because of the way you make them feel not because you're making something irreplaceable. After waiting all of that time and leaving almost 35 mins later I was gifted with a lackluster sad sack of grilled cheese . Never again! To expensive and not worth it !

Purpose T.

Yelp
Absolutely love the food and art on the walls. Even the light fixtures are eclectic. Yup, I notice things like that. Super cool! Great service. A bit of a wait, but thats to be expected when your food is made to order. It was hard to narrow down my choice (so many great options), but I went with the spinach & artichoke grilled cheese & waffle fries. My only critique is everything is a la carte. No sides come with your sandwich. Other than that, yummy in my tummy!!! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the Houston area. I loved everything about it!!

Autum R.

Yelp
We first saw this restaurant on Instagram and were planning a trip to Houston so it was our first stop when we got into town. Was a great first stop to set the "food tone" for the rest of the trip. We were the only ones there so the order came out super fresh and delicious. The staff was so nice and I can tell that the place is very popular due to all of the online orders they received while we ate. If I was a local this spot would see me every weekend. We cannot wait to go back! If you like tea... TRY THEIR TEAS !

Doug R.

Yelp
Have only ordered takeout from here until today. Upon entering, Shaneeka was extremely welcoming & helpful. The food was so good and the music & vibe were on point. Inside was so immaculate and clean. I complimented Shaneeka and she said she stays on top of it. Wow - what a great asset for this location!! Can't wait to come back. Thank you!!!!

Michelle B.

Yelp
Decided after passing enough times to come here with the family. I got the Buffalo chicken. I could barely keep my sandwich together. It kept slipping and sliding. The Buffalo sauce and cheese caused it to be greasy to the point of my giving up on it. My fiancé had the brisket which wasn't bad but wasn't anything amazing either. We also tried the pizza grilled cheese which typically would never be passed up but over half of it was left on the plate dude to the portion of ingredients wasn't right. When I tried it half of the bread stuck to my teeth. Overall I won't be returning. We spent over 40 for three grilled cheese along with fries which sucked. I try to be nice but honestly I couldn't find a way to twist this twisted grilled cheese for the better.

Theresa M.

Yelp
This place is a perfect lunch spot. The artichoke spinach grilled cheese was incredible. The bread was buttery and crispy, but not oily or too crispy. The staff were super friendly, and there's a full bar.

Ashlyn H.

Yelp
Food was okay. Nothing special. Half the menu was sold out and the bar was not servicing anyone and the soda machine didn't work. Walked in at 7pm and there were no other customers. In all, food was probably a 5/10 but I would not bother going back.

Briona G.

Yelp
food and service definitely 10/10 everything was hot, fresh & beyond delicious!!! the ambiance had a very beautiful setup !!! the brisket & philly were both more than i expected & cooked perfectly !!! & the fried pickles were perfectly battered and cooked!! will i be back?! absolutely!!! i think this restaurant deserves to have lines around the corner !!! i can't believe it was sooooo good !!! oh and the fresh baked cookies were definitely to die for !!! if you are in the area give this place a try you will not regret it !!

Amy W.

Yelp
I ordered the brisket grilled cheese and my boyfriend ordered the Philly chicken grilled cheese and fries. The food was good and the outside crispy... but it was a little greasy. We also waited a good 15-20 minutes for it. It looked like they only had one cook. The restaurant was cute and the lady that took our order was super nice. The location is good as well. Here's where they miss out on the 4th star. For the location they are in, they are really missing out on not having alcohol. They have a whole bar area but it's empty even though there are alcoholic drink options on the menu. For the location it's in, they would do so much better if they servesd alcohol.

Yelp
Went to the food truck at Porky's In atascocita. Took over and hour to get my food. I wanted Philly cheesesteak; they had no cheesesteak; I asked for brisket fries they had no brisket. Finally I ordered a chicken cheesesteak, with Parmesan sweet potato fries. Only to go to the truck to pick up my order and then told they have no sweet potatoe fries they made me regular fries. I explained that I don't like regular fries. We agreed upon spicy cheese sticks. The cheese sticks we clumped together. My grilled chicken cheese had no chicken, I had to take it back. I ordered a limeade it was hot? They had no ice. This was a HORRIBLE experience. They should shut this truck down. This was 1;00 on a Saturday and they didn't have half the items on the menu. The only reason I tried the truck was because of my experience at the location in the Heights. This truck is BELOW basic standards for any food truck. I won't be returning. I hope so one that can make a difference or change sees this review.

Yelp
We stopped in to give them a try, and we are glad we did! We will definitely come back again. The service was extremely friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. The food had a unique flavor to it and it was delicious. If you are in the area I recommend that you stop in, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
We tried the food truck when it was in Cypress awhile back but it was not impressive at all. Decided to try the brick and mortar to give it a sound chance....Much better! The grilled cheeses are a nice size, the amount of cheese is proportionate as well. The fries were good but the Mac and cheese balls were over cooked and dry. Prices are high but I understand the food industry is going through a tough time. Overall. It was pretty good.

Yelp
My wife and I shared a sandwich due to the $22 sandwich with fries. The sandwich was great, but the ambiance was weird, the girl that took our meal didn't seem to even want to work there, no happiness. The service was a bit slow for some grilled cheese and there wasn't anyone in there, so it wasn't like it was busy.

Yelp
Nice restaurant for a sandwich place. Staffs are friendly. Sandwiches are Ok but the Parmesan waffle fries are not. Looks like they took it out from the freezer and let it seat out too long that the fries weren't crunchy anymore after fried and became soggy. If you are a cheese lover then surely this is your place. A bit high price with the fries and sandwiches. That's my own opinion since I paid about $18 for them.
