Slow and bad service. This TW is attached to the Holiday In. Chateau La Moyne, and this is where your breakfast coupons from the hotel go. First morning I went down to get coffee and the restaurant was not overly crowded. Needed creamer, which wasn't delivered despite several requests to the server. My wife arrived and ordered a coffee (still no creamer). After waiting and watching the server flail from request to request, we abandoned.
That afternoon, we needed a snack and decided to give it a try. Each table has a QR code to take you to the menu and order through Toast. So we did that. Small, uncomplicated order - 2 eggs, fruit plate, smoothie, and an iced coffee. Ordered at 3:30, scheduled to be ready at 3:50. Took repeated requests over the course of about 15 minutes just to get water for the table.
At 3:50 I went to check on the order only to discover that, as far as the staff was concerned, I was the first person to ever use that functionality and they had no idea anyone actually in the restaurant had submitted the order. They thought the online ordering system was for takeout.
They confirmed the order, and said we would have it right away.
Half an hour later, eggs and fruit arrive. No utensils. No smoothie. No coffee. Took a visit to the bar to get a fork.
Server asked if we wanted to pay the check. I noted (a) the absence of the smoothie and the coffee and (b) that we'd already paid through the app.
20 minutes later, still no smoothie or coffee.
I see a server looking like she's about to make a smoothie and tell her I've been waiting over an hour for it. She apologizes, tells me she just started her shift and was told to make a smoothie.
Iced coffee finally arrives, roughly an hour and twenty minutes after being ordered through the app.
Smoothie arrives Just in time for us to head off to our dinner reservation.
