Highlights

Have you ever wanted to try an ice cream inside a doughnut? Want no more. Freshly made dough, turned into a cone and filled with ice cream.

"If Twisterlicious was a person they’d be that flamboyant drama teacher who had a collection of neon scarves and the hand gestures of a flight attendant. That’s to say, the ice cream at this Soho spot is a little bit OTT. The space itself is simple, with a few metal indoor tables but their batshit ice cream creations are not. They specialise in handcrafted chimney cake cones - think, lovechild of a pretzel and a churro - and there are several different options to get involved in. If you’re a fan of a fruity hit get the raspberry kiss cone, but our go-to is the apple pie with a cinnamon cone. photo credit: Giulia Verdinelli" - Heidi Lauth Beasley

It’s okay but a lot of work needs to be done on improving the ice cream, the ice cream was a letdown. The flavours of the chimney cake + ice cream weren’t very special compared to the ones I’ve had in Crete and North America. The chimney cake itself was okay, would have been nicer to serve warm or make upon request. Currently it was all cold and very crunchy instead of warm and fluffy.

Came here for a quick treat with a couple of friends yesterday. Great service, and really friendly and happy staff. Only a couple of things that detracted (and they’re minor!). Some of the toppings weren’t available, there was no chocolate soft-serve ice cream so vanilla was substituted, and the ice cream was a little crystallised. But none of these spoiled the experience. I’ve been a couple of times and will continue to come back - the chimney cake cones are brilliant.

Honestly, the ice cream was amazing, the atmosphere was friendly and the service was very nice. Definitely one of my fav spots now.

Bought ice cream from here but card machine didn't work at which point my ice cream was melting in the store as it's really stuffy in there. Tried to put the payment through on different cards to no avail at which point I had to go to get cash out from a cash point 5 mins walk away. When I returned to pay there was other customers waiting to be served by the one store assistant who was more interested in the supposed TV star who had just passed the store. Change given to me was wrong, but, I had enough of the store so left without raising this. Ice cream was ok but sickly sweet by the bottom. Would probably avoid this place, cool concept but poor execution.

The Twister King is delicious, the chocolate and marshmallow at the bottom made for a welcome surprise, and the ice cream was fantastic. The pricing itself was very reasonable for the portion size you get, but it was a little uncomfortable to sit inside.

Having come before and they were closed, I managed to get myself back to Soho Square to try again. So I had the cinnamon roll and the mixed nuts, and happy to say that these things don't just look Insta-worthy, but also taste nice! Lovely food, friendly service. Thank you.

The only permanent place in London where you can get Kurtoskalacs (chimney cake). I spent ages waiting for one of the three market stalls to come near me but none of them are ever in the centre - that's when I discovered Twisterlicious! The dough isn't 100% authentic but it's very very close. The staff were really lovely and everything was freshly made - loved the milkshake, loved the raspberry-coated kurtoskalacs (though, with ice cream in the middle, it got very messy!), and loved the traditional cinamon and vanilla ones. They have some good offers on Groupon currently, that's how I bought mine. I will definitely return!

Nice place to enjoy an unique kind of ice cream. The customer service is friendly and the location is pretty but not very big. The food is nice.
