Two Arrows Coffee & Bar Review - Vail Village - Vail - The Infatuation

"This coffee shop and cocktail bar should be your move both before and after you hit Vail Mountain. The narrow space is small and seating is limited, and you’ll hear a range of house to hip-hop playing on the speakers. Whenever we stop by, it always seems to be a party in here. It’s usually pretty busy, with people dropping in for a quick cortado or staying a while to have a fresh-baked croissant, breakfast burrito, or mushroom and spinach quiche. " - Kim Fuller

I am not sure if I had very high expectations walking in or if it just wasn’t what it should be. The atmosphere and the aesthetic is great. I am not one to leave anything except 5 star reviews but I do believe this place could work on a few things. The first thing that got me quite mad is how they only serve cold brew in one size. There are two sizes and they only serve cold brew in the smaller size. I asked her to please give me one in the larger cup, she said it wouldn’t be possible because she wouldn’t know how to charge me. Then I went to the extreme, I told her give me the large size and I will pay for two cold brews, I don’t care if I pay for two just give me the larger size, she said no. After all of that, and paying $8 (tip included) the cold brew they gave me just wasn’t good. The coffee simply didn’t taste good, this doesn’t come from a place of bad wishes for this place but from a place of constructive criticism. I review coffee places almost every week and this one just needs work. Especially on the cold brew if you are charging $6 a cup. I did like that there were quite a lot of options to choose from on the menu’s lineup including cocktails and others. I will most likely be back for ski season, I will give this place another chance due to it’s convenient location in vail, and if I notice the things are different, you have my word I will change this to a five star review.

Google
Amazing coffee and fantastic breakfast burrito. They were so welcoming and kind when I walked in to order. I had a cappuccino that was perfection and a bacon egg breakfast burrito. They were so quick and I claimed one of the corner cushioned seats and sat back with a good book. Amazing atmosphere! Highly recommend if you want a good strong coffee and nice place to sit back and enjoy the view from the window.

Google
Cute cozy coffee shop. The drinks were really good. Fast service and prices are reasonable. Highly recommend this coffee shop if you’re looking for a quick coffee drink in Vail.

Google
The BEST and only coffee shop I frequent in Vail. I love how the baristas are knowledgeable and have standards for their establishment. The only matcha I have in the Valley and appreciate when they recommend the proper way to drink them :)

Google
Cozy, Relaxing Ambiance, and Friendly. When it is freezing butt cold outside, you want to have a cup of hot latte or hot chocolate inside. Small place but makes you warm inside. I don't drink coffee, so I had a cup of hot chocolate. So tasty!! It was perfect 👌 and my butt no longer feeling cold.

Went two days in a row while staying in Vail. Two girls working the bar were AMAZING. They were fast and working hard. Iced americano was pretty good. Got a breakfast burrito and it hit the spot. Well priced for Vail! Outside seating is available, the inside is pretty tight

Google
We popped into Two Arrows yesterday, and it was the perfect Sunday afternoon pick-me-up. Tucked in the heart of Vail Village, this charming little spot has both style and substance. The quality of the drinks and ingredients was top-notch, and the atmosphere made it hard to leave. Julia and Arthur were behind the bar and couldn’t have been more welcoming—we genuinely could’ve stayed and chatted with them all day. My husband and I each had a version of a latte (both were excellent), and the Carajillo was a standout—rich, smooth, and absolutely delicious. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Google
Great coffee shop. Got the maple late bc the pumpkin butternut was out. The chocolate chip cookie was also great, it was soft with a bit of crunch. Barista was really friendly.

Yelp
This is a cozy little coffee shop/ bar in the Vail Village area to grab nice drinks and chill. It offers a nice variety of non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. You can grab a regular cup of coffee or latte or you can order their hot alcoholic beverages. One such hot alcoholic beverage of theirs is Toormerik Toddy. Toormerik Toddy had a turmeric, ginger, and black pepper mix that's blended with whiskey and it's absolutely fabulous especially when consumed on a chilly day. I had it and enjoyed it a lot. I also tried my wife's drink, Salted Nutella Latte w/ black pepper sprinkled on top and it was delicious. This shop is trendy, modern, and hip. I could be wrong about this but I don't think it appeals to certain demographics only. You should check it out when in Vail. It's worth a stop.

Yelp
Strolling around downtown Vail, we came upon Two Arrows and stopped in for some morning chew. Black coffee, orange juice, granola with cranberries, bagel & lox, and a burrito. Mostly we just wanted to get off our feet and gnosh while watching people. No disappointment here. Dark, bitter coffee (just the way I like it) and a nicely toasted and topped bagel while watching a corporate job interview in one corner, a young family wrangling their kids in another, a touristy couple scanning maps, all kinds of people gather at Two Arrows for drinks and munchies. Highly recommended for gazing and grazing!

Yelp
Loved the orange and cardamom syrup option for my latte. Also appreciated that oat milk was an option.

Yelp
We make a point to stop by Two Arrows every time we're in Vail because the matcha lattes and coffee cocktails are just that good. It's a small little spot so it can get crowded during prime coffee and bar hours but the baristas are quick and very chill under pressure. If you drop by during a calmer hour and snag a table or bar seat it's a great spot to hang out and read, people watch, or work for awhile.

Yelp
Tiny but delicious and efficient coffee shop in Vail village ! I was so happy to know they have decaf for me ! They have a delicious salted Nutella latte with black lava sea salt & pistachios topping. They make the syrup in house It doesn't taste heavy and full of chemicals like other coffee shops . The y also have homemade cinnamon rolls that they make and ice daily ! Pop in here if you're exploring Vail Village and need to warm up with something yummy served with a friendly smile ! We're here again this morning before our gondola ride !

Yelp
Coffee here is DELISH, great vibe, local feel, and not too bougie for Vail. Also, if you're unsure about whether to try the breakfast burrito, you definitely should. 5-star for the bacon (I did not try the veggie) but it's a great way to start your day on the mountain or wake up sore after the mountain :-)

Yelp
Coffee was good, however it really sucked that there was only a 12 oz option for cold brew and that it was $6.50. Definitely felt robbed and the barista was really rude when I asked if there was any way to make it 16oz.
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
Stopped by here for coffee and something to eat before hitting the slopes. The place gets pretty packed there pretty quickly and there is limited seating. Got a cappuccino with almond milk and a bagel with lox. The drink came out quickly but the food took a bit - possibly due to the long lines. The cappuccino had a very light and smooth taste. Bagel with lox was delicious, very generous with the arugula, chives cream cheese and lox filling. Perfect breakfast for a cold warming. This location also makes alcoholic drinks - appears to be a good spot to check out.

Yelp
Between myself, wife and best friend we got the macchiato, and two lattes and I was surprised by the quality of the coffee used. Absolutely solid spot.
google avatar

Jenny L.

Yelp
I love the fact that this place offers so many drink options. There's coffee, non caffeinated drinks, cocktails, wine, and beer. On top of that, they also have a limited breakfast menu which I think is still better than nothing. The seating is also limited due to it being small but well placed. The vibes are nice with great choice of music although it could be turned down just a tad to avoid shouting to hear each other across the table. Once we ordered our drinks, they were made within a minute so we didn't have to wait too long. They both tasted pretty good.
google avatar

Kelsey A.

Yelp
Best cappuccino in Vail! The spot is adorable. Lots of seating. Seems popular with locals.
google avatar

Sara M.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere with good coffee! We went here after skiing in vail. It is in the vail village and convenient to stop in. The service was quick and kind since the line was out the door. Highly recommend grabbing coffee or food here!
google avatar

Sarah T.

Yelp
Couldn't ask for more from a coffee shop right by the mountain. You can walk in right off the slopes and get hot coffee or one of their mixed drinks. We tried a variety and they were all delicious and aesthetically pleasing! The spot is small but you can sit at the bar or one of the few tables.
google avatar

Rocko F.

Yelp
Good coffee, small spot but places to sit and chat or work. Only complaint - the subwoofer they have has got to go. The bass is turned up way too high in the mix. If anyone knows anything about sound, the low frequencies are very damaging to the eardrum because of the larger sound waves. I would have stayed longer and ordered more and had my family meet me there but it was so loud I had to go.
google avatar

Yelp
We were waiting for our table at a nearby restaurant. I wanted coffee so I walked over. My girls weren't far behind. The place was small but very popular with a constant flow of people. My oldest and I had boozy drinks so couldn't take ours to go. Staff was friendly even though it was crazy busy. Drinks came out fast and were tasty.

Yelp
Really cool little place, with great coffee, interesting cocktails, and friendly service. Prices are quite reasonable considering the location. I imagine it can get quite crowded and noisy considering how small it is, but really great energy.

Yelp
I loved their iced matcha with purple whipped cream (I think it was ube flavored). It was so good that I came back and ordered another. We were here for a Portugal. The Man concert at the Ford Amphitheater in Vail near Vail Village. When my partner and I stopped in, we noticed they were playing Purple, Yellow Red and Blue as well as their Chris Black Changed My Life album. We chatted with the employees to find out if they were going to the show. I met Julia and introduced myself. I ran into her that evening and she actually remembered my name. Cool vibe and good menu. Thanks Two Arrows for our cute experience!

Yelp
Cool coffee shop/bar located in Vail, CO. I liked the vibes and the aesthetic. We ordered a black sesame latte and an iced lavender ube whipped matcha. The drinks came out quick and were made/mixed right in front of me at the bar. The black sesame latte was good. Not too sweet, and I was able to taste the coffee. The iced lavender ube whipped matcha was good too. It was decently sweet and the lavender taste was strong imo. I could not taste the matcha that much if not at all, but I personally like a strong matcha taste. My gf really liked this drink though and said it was the perfect sweet to matcha ratio. Overall cool coffee shop, and I would go again.

Yelp
london fog is the best in the valley in my opinion. atmosphere is super cute and cozy, usually super busy though. i've never had a great experience with the baristas as a local so that's why it's 4/5 for me. (also cookies were pretty hard/overcooked last time)
google avatar

Craig A.

Yelp
A nice little coffee shop that's easily accessible on the way from the Vail parking garage to Gondola one. Good coffee, nice staff, tasty pastry.
google avatar

Drew L.

Yelp
As a brooklynite, I come from the land of bespoke coffee shops. Twos Arrows would fit right in in Williamsburg! I love that they have interesting lattes and that they have cocktails :) I come back every year! I'd love to see some new latte flavors next year.
google avatar

Poojitha S.

Yelp
Cute cafe which also serves alcohol. They had a lot of espresso based cocktails, I would have definitely tried them if I didn't have to go back and work. Got one of their season options , maple cinnamon latte . It was an average drink , would have liked it more if the espresso was strong. Though there were also 2 people manning the store , the service was very quick .
google avatar

Haley S.

Yelp
Walked into the coffee shop (after hearing it being recommended by so many people) and was immediately welcomed! The ambiance was cute, they had music playing and the set up was nice. Although I didn't try the food, the barista recommended a Matcha Tea Latte with Black Sesame flavoring. I was a little hesitant but she said they made the flavoring in house and that alone brought out my adventurous side in wanting to try it! That might be one of my new favorites although I don't know if anything will compare to it again!
google avatar

Alexa M.

Yelp
Love coming here apres ski for hot drinks (alcoholic and non). Always playing good music and service is always great. They have trivia on Wednesdays (at least they did when we were there) so it got a little loud if you weren't playing but seemed fun!!
google avatar

Bob M.

Yelp
Great service and espresso is the bomb! I had a 16-oz Americano with heavy cream and it was fantastic. Nice vibe inside - stop in here - you want regret it!
google avatar

Ashley T.

Yelp
Super friendly staff in a great location! Bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese was delicious, especially on their homemade bagels. Matcha latte was good. Priced very reasonably. There is not much seating inside.
google avatar

Alisa J.

Yelp
Super awesome coffee shop. Smells awesome in here and great vibes and super chill and friendly people. The music was awesome and great playlist. The turmeric latte and chai latte were great. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Misshelle B.

Yelp
I am a weird reviewer when it comes to coffee shops because i don't drink coffee, although i am a chai and turmeric latte lover and this is one of my favorite places for that. I also want to highlight the fact that they do have a vegan option for breakfast, I have not tried it because i'm not a wannabe cheese/vegan lover but i do appreciate everyone that thinks of ppl like is that don't eat meat.
google avatar

Yelp
More like 4-4.5 stars, but giving them 5 because it's hard to find good resort coffee! They also double as a cocktail bar. The interior has soft lighting and a light wood surface bar. I like that they have a small menu of select specialty lattes and coffee themed cocktails. Would have loved to try those, but it was 10am in the morning. They use a light roast Ethiopian from Color coffee roasters. I got the espresso and the smoked salt caramel latte (less sweet). They give a side of sparkling water with the espresso! Espresso didn't have much fruit taste surprisingly. The latte was pretty sweet even with less syrup., There were quite a few bubbles in the foam, but it tasted good nevertheless. Also had great latte art.

Karla L.

Yelp
Service was unpleasant overall. Went back for a second coffee to go, after eating here. They acted like they didn't want us to be there or serve us. I had my small family with me. They said in their menu that they had gluten free breads. Nope! They don't! They had some protein snack. Coffee was not the best flavor. Highly don't recommend this place! To me good service, positive attitude, good coffee and good snacks or food! Are very important in my books! Not here!
google avatar

Jay F.

Yelp
I didn't get to try the food but very unique customer service. Downfall is their taste on coffee, I don't know what espresso bean they use but it tasted horribly dry with a peculiar lingering rotten fruit after taste. Aesthetically the location looks great. Side note how is drip coffee more expensive than espresso?

Chris A.

Yelp
Unless you have an hour to get a coffee I would steer clear. Staff operates like there is zero schedule. Great if you also don't have a schedule, but not if you're looking to ski the day.
google avatar

Adria C.

Yelp
The smell of the espresso hits your nose immediately. They serve up Color coffee. Very fun spot to get caffeinated or to wind down with an adult beverage. One of the best dirty chais I have ever had. Quick service. Good music, good vibes.
google avatar

Kiaresh M.

Yelp
Coming down the hill for your last ski run of the day, the one thing you may crave for, aside from a hot tub, back rub, and a nap, is probably a nice warm cup of coffee. The rest of the items on the list can wait! And for a nice cup of coffee, or any variation of it, nothing beats Two Arrows Coffee and Bar. It is a quaint little shop near the base with an ambiance of a coffee shop, but it has the added benefit of being a full bar as well. Maybe after the sun goes down, it transitions from a coffee shop first with a bar, to a bar first with coffee on the side, but in the daytime, it is definitely a coffee shop. I guess I need to come back later at night to see if the ambiance changes. The service is friendly and good, and the coffee hit the spot. Ready to get back on the hills again. Well, maybe tomorrow. At the moment, a beer sounds pretty nice.

Yelp
After a whole day of snowboarding in the cold weather, we wanted to warm up with a hot drink. I ordered the Turmeric latte and was not very pleased with the overall drink. The Turmeric was overly tangy and flavor did not balance well with the coffee flavor.
google avatar

Sydney M.

Yelp
This is one of the only places that can make a real cortado. They serve it with mineral water which is a great palette cleanser, the texture of the milk is perfect, and the espresso is balanced and flavorful. The matcha is also clearly very high quality. Cute seating area too!
google avatar

Shelby A.

Yelp
I wish they had a spot like this back in my hometown!! We popped in for a cocktail before our dinner reservation at Alpenrose. The bartender was super helpful and answered our many questions! The music was great and the drinks were superb. I would love to try breakfast next time I'm in vail!
google avatar

Bryanne H.

Yelp
This coffee shop is so cute! They have delicious drinks as well as alcoholic beverages! We always stop in during the evening time and the bartenders are always so welcoming. They have lots of good music on and the workers seem to really enjoy their job! it's off one of the main streets in Vail Village so I consider it a hidden gem!
google avatar

Carolina F.

Yelp
Had a great Turmeric drink with a shot of espresso and almond milk, amazing drink. Nice place for coffee.
google avatar

Rachna G.

Yelp
barista was cold, unfriendly. the drip coffee was even colder. do not recommend. spend your money elsewhere.
google avatar

Yelp
Great espresso, nice people, in a cool lava lamp and clean, modern environment! Very conveniently located near Gondola One !
google avatar

Ayatt A.

Yelp
This is such an awesome spot right in Vail village. I absolutely love that its both a cafe and a bar! So fun. We had delicious oat milk matcha lattes. Only wished they were a little bit bigger!
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent matcha & chai lattes. We had all different iterations-dairy, non-dairy, honey and whatever. All came out as ordered, delicious, & reasonably priced. Nice little space in a great location. Thank you.
google avatar

Carlson Z.

Yelp
We came for pre-dinner drinks while we were waiting for our table to be ready. It's a really cool après-ski place that's more like a cocktail bar than a coffee shop. They were blasting clubby EDM music that I was really vibing with. More importantly, the cocktails they made were strong, delicious and reasonably priced.
google avatar

Kassey T.

Yelp
Super friendly staff, quick service, and a tasty variety of drinks. Stooped in here several times during my stay in Vail!

Emma R.

Yelp
We walked up with 7 of our friends that are all over 21 and because one of our friends had an Alaska ID the bouncer wouldn't let us in. Then when we asked him why he got aggressive and said he would snap us like a twig. Very horrible service. Vail isn't a place that only people from Colorado visit so we were very confused as to why we were denied service.
google avatar

Ashley S.

Yelp
Best coffee shop, queer friendly (I'm from gayborhood in Long Beach, CA) and I immediately felt like home. My husband and I both ordered their cold chai cocktail which was bomb, and two cocktails to go. Their Negroni to go cocktail was my favorite, not too sweet. Service was very friendly and gave lots of good recommendations for drinks and foods to try around the area. Ambiance was trendy-casual and very busy. Highly recommend trying this place out if you're in the area!
google avatar

James D.

Yelp
Very quaint atmosphere. Coffee shop and bar. Fast service nice selection of pastries. Excellent coffee !!

Yelp
Late night hot cocoas with the local ski patrol! Everything you could hope for in a mountain town coffee shop turns bar. I could sit here forEVER!! Also great hot cocoas!! (I got mine with oat milk!!)
