Beautifully curated selection - and only store of its kind in Noe or surrounding area that I can recall with such an expansive collection - clothing, shoes, housewares, bags, jewelry, sunglasses. Very kind and welcoming staff!

Two Birds is very nicely curated, and I appreciate the effort they have made to get their online shop up and running - definitely provides me with impetus to come in when I see something exciting pop up. However, I am writing this review because the gentleman who helped me and other customers, who is usually working the floor when I go in, is possibly the best sales associate I have ever seen. He is supportive, knowledgeable, honest, and truly seeks to build trust and long-term relationships with clients. I hope the owners know what a gem they have on their hands!

Two Birds always has exactly what I'm looking for, from desk to date options! Amazing associates who take time to help me style full looks head to toe. I've purchased some of my favorite jewelry here and always leave feeling more confident about my wardrobe.

I love this place! The owners are knowledgeable and helpful and they carry an amazing selection of on trend clothing and accessories. They are always very helpful in giving advice on size/styles if you need help or are happy to leave you be to browse. I can't recommend them enough if you are shopping for everyday wear or a fancy date night dress. Shop local people!

They carry all my favorite brands. I’d buy everything in the store if I could.

Two Birds is the closest thing that Noe Valley has in terms of an upper-mid range clothing boutique. On the upside, it's very well edited, with lots of open space and a rotating selection of core brands such as Paige denim, Smythe outerwear, and Vince knits. In addition, there is a small selection of shoes and local jewelry. There is also a sales rack at the back with end of season items. On the downside, the staff isn't exactly friendly, usually eschewing customer welcomes to converse with each other. If you go, it's located a bit off 24th, at Castro, turn left at the Cotton Basics store and it's a few doors down.

I love this place. Not only do I ALWAYS find what I want & need, I get inspired by everything in the store!!! Such a wonderfully curated collection. My closet is half full of my purchases from here!!! Great clothes with a great staff - very efficient, very informed - this is my favorite store!!!

A great place to shop for the women in your life. Staffed by some of the nicest and most knowledgeable people you'll ever meet.

I went to the Larkspue store and enjoyed the experience. I bought a new dress that I have already worn twice! The service was outstanding .

If you are looking for a boutique with great tops, jeans, dresses, shoes and jewelry look no further! I have been coming to this store since it opened and they have the cutest clothes and great service. I love how attentive the staff is. I also like that they provide honest feedback and help on styling. They have a great return policy that allows me to take items home and bring them back the next day for my money back if it does not work out. I always look forward to coming to Two Birds and can't wait for my next shopping venture.

Two Birds is my everything! I'm a horrible, scattered shopper and afraid of boutiques. Yet I ventured in here because I love the window displays and desperately needed to feel put together after a long shopping hiatus; having two kids less than two years apart can really put you in a fashion vortex. I have zero time and energy to shop and need someone to tell me what looks good. Enter Carol, a stylist/buyer/salesperson at the store. Come and have her help you pick an outfit or enlist her for styling services. She rebooted my wardrobe and helped me build mix-and-match options for both weekends and work. She is forthright about what looks good and took me one step outside of my comfort zone and yet did not try to give me a complete personality makeover. (E.g., I hate skirts and she is fine with that.) I am done with wandering big department stores and I don't need to bother with online styling services (like Stitch Fix)--this local solution really works for me. They have shoes, coats, accessories, dresses, separates...everything you need.

I just discovered Two Birds. Not sure what took me so long but wow what a lovely discovery. The store is such a well curated collection of fantastic designers and has an excellent array of skinny + flare leg jeans, prefect SF "it could rain one day" all weather coats and...swoon...the shoes. I found the women who work there to be very attentive and honest. My friend and I were in the store for nearly 2 hours and had a very positive experience with both Carol & Zena. Carol was especially engaging and refreshing in her honesty because, let's get real, we don't all look good in everything. I also really enjoyed the community feel to the store where all the customers were offering advice to each other about what looked the best. I look forward to returning to Two Birds and having Carol help select the right pieces for my winter wardrobe in the near future.

This store makes you feel so luxurious. The clothes are so high quality and the jewelry is superb. This store is a great place to come to play dress up and have a fun time with your girlfriends/friends. The top trying on area actually feels so nice and the dressing rooms are so spacious. It's such a nice set up. Come to this store immediately

Finally, some style comes to Noe Valley! I've lived in the hood for awhile and man, all the polar fleece and yoga pants get you down. At Two Birds, there is a great selection here of stylish yet wearable items, including a well-edited collection of amazing handbags! The prices are a bit on the high side, but reasonable for what they carry. In short: Ambiance, this ain't (and thank god -- that place is a glorified Forever 21 in my book). Bonus: The girls running the shop are so sweet and nice, I've gone back in when I'm waiting for the bus just to shoot the breeze while I browse the racks.

Fun find for a local boutique shop. Great clothes, so my wife says...she looks great in anything. Service was friendly and helpful. Made our trip to the Noe worth the taxi ride from the Fairmont!

Absolutely, love this store! It's a great boutique to buy that special lady in your life something fashionable and fabulous. Susanna's the best, and definitely coming back again! Now, SF just needs a Two Birds for men... *wink-wink

As many people have written, the store is well curated and the inventory is great. Unfortunately, the staff is the opposite of helpful and make shopping rather unpleasant. I have purchased several items from here and have always found the staff unhelpful and aloof. Additionally, the return policy is completely inflexible even if an item is unworn, tags on and in season. There aren't too many options in Noe and this store has great merchandise. They could just afford to be a bit nicer to their customers (and not just those who are buying an entirely new wardrobe!)

One sunny, cold Wednesday afternoon, I look in my school planner and realize that my homework for the evening was to find an article online, or in a magazine to critique its grammar. I went on to 7x7 and looked under the fashion tab (habit). The headline for one article was entitled "Wing Women: Two Birds Opens in Noe Valley" and I jumped out of my seat and studied each word carefully. The grammar, not so much, but more of a new awesome store opening up in my work 'hood. I rush out of the computer lab and jet down to Noe Valley and found the store. Ugh, how cute! The nice sales girl greeted me and informed me that the store had only been open 3 days. guess what, my lucky number is 3. weird. Anyway, i'm looking around everything is soo cute but a bit on the expensive. (student loan, thank you). As I was freezing my butt off all day, I came across this cute green jacket that hits me in the right places!! I said to myself "Do i need this?" "How many jackets do I have?" "Number 3!" Sold. I told the sweet employees that the 7x7 article encouraged me to come here, and since I am relocating from Noe, I should take advantage of this store and I'd write a yelp review! Here it is. Go there. You won't be disappointed. So if anyone asks me, "Did you get anything out of your grammar class?" I can say "Yes! I sure did! A green jacket!"

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! at first i loved this place and was ready to make it a regular shopping destination BUT two days ago i bought a $300 purse and before purchasing i said i wasnt 100 percent sure i was going to keep it. so the woman told me that if i came in by 6pm the next day that i could return it for full cash back. but when i went in to do so hours befor 6pm, she refused to let me return it and was extremely rude and condescending towards me. she basically conned me out of 300 bucks. I am definitely never shopping here again!

I was a bewildered man casting about for some help with a gift. I got some expert guidance from the amazingly nice staff and found something that was both reasonably priced (given the quality) and great-looking. nice addition!

I come into San Francisco from Los Angeles frequently. Whenever I am in town I always make sure to stop into Two Birds to freshen up my wardrobe. The sales people are great and Carol, Audrey, and Susanna are always helpful/ truly the BEST. They always help me find the right thing may it be for work or for my more casual days. I never feel that they are putting me in something that I wouldn't love wearing. Every item I have purchase always becomes a staple in my wardrobe. I have read here that others have issues with the return policy, but you have to keep in mind that small business's have to have different policies than a larger chain. I find the policy very fair and the ladies more than easy and lovely to deal with. I will continue to visit and buy from Two Birds for many years to come! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!

They have great pieces of clothing for any occasion. However, it is a little pricey for me. I'll still come back to browse and ooooh and ahhh! Love.

Love love love Two Birds! It finally opened over the weekend and I just had to check it out. Awesome selection, pretty reasonably priced. Was so refreshing to find some designers local to SF and a really good size range too. Both owners were there and they are absolutely adorable. I'm so tired of all of the sullen shop girls full of attitude -- or on the opposite end of spectrum, the really pushy ones. These two were helpful without being pushy and just made the whole experience fun. Can't wait to go back - they said they are still stocking up.

Beware when making purchases from this store. I recently (less than two weeks) bought a pair of $300 jeans from TwoBirds and it was like flushing it down the toilet. The jeans stretched out so much after the first wear, that they are unwearable. The employees at the store offered zero recourse or solution to the problem. And were very unapologetic to boot! They basically said no solution, but will call you back - they didn't. I like to buy from local small businesses but it won't happen at TwoBirds again - go get your stuff from Club Monaco or a store that will honor a refund or exchange for a purchase that didn't work out. Very disappointed :(

I've been meaning to review this shop for a while. I love it! Well-curated selection of cute, stylish clothes. On the pricy side, but worth it.

Fantastic experience for a man looking for a gift without a clue about women's clothing. I was looking for a gift for my girlfriend and needed some serious help. The two owners were super helpful and made me feel comfortable right away. I ended up finding a great outfit, for what I feel is a reasonable price. Most importantly my girlfriend loved it! Can't thank Two Birds enough, what a great store.

Two Birds is an amazing store! Susanna is the best- she is so easy going and helpful and has great style to boot. The clothes in this store are not only of great taste but also of great quality. If you want to add some really staple pieces to your wardrobe, this is the place to go. I always find something I love and the service can't be beat!

A lovely shop filled with style! I bought a dress today that the wonderful owners helped me choose. When I brought the dress home to show my husband, we both agreed that it was simply beautiful. The cost is not much more than what you'd find at Nordstrom's and as others have posted, the quality and style at Two Birds is well worth that wee bit extra. It's also a great place to find a gift. Go for a Noe Valley stroll, go to the Saturday Farmer's market and definitely stop in at Two Birds.

Like the clothes, staff pretty nice - but their return service is dismal. Only 24 hours to return something, otherwise only store credit for 7 days after. Give me Nordstrom or other store any day. I won't be shopping here again for this reason alone.

I feel very guilty writing a negative review about a local, small business but this is the third time I have received terrible customer service at Two Birds. Today, a young woman named Carol was working in the store along with another sales person. Unfortunately, Carol was using her phone almost the entire time I was in the store (30-45 minutes). She stopped reading her phone to greet each person who entered the store and to tell the other sales girl where to sweep, vacuum and hang up clothes. When one customer who entered the store asked Carol how she was doing, Carol told her that she was "ok" but that all she could think about was the big pimple on her face, which she continued to talk about throughout my time in the store. I am most disappointed by the fact that I was ready to purchase a few items, including a sweater which had a small snag in the back that had already turned into a small hole. I asked Carol if she would be willing to discount my purchase so that I could have the snag/hole fixed and she very matter-of-factly responded with a "no." I inquired further suggesting that anyone else interested in purchasing the sweater would likely ask for the same consideration and she once again simply said, "no." After another casual exchange, she said she would talk to the owner to see if the owner would extend the discount or fix the sweater for me but she continued to repeat that "it was only a small snag." Unfortunately for both me and the store, I walked away from a $300+ purchase and I am not likely to shop there again. Such a disappointment because the store has a lovely selection of soft and unique clothing.

a beautifully edited boutique in noe valley that offers expensive lines like citizens for humanity, ella moss, three dot, joie, etc. all lines that i love and that i don't currently purchase often. but if i did have tons of discretionary income, i would be shopping here. think marina type of boutique in the heart of noe valley. nice propietors.
