Veggie Benedict: C
I was excited to try their veggie Benedict because most places almost never have Benedict sans ham so I find myself constantly modifying it. While I liked the Cajun hollandaise, I didn't like the veggies with it. It came with a mixture of onions (lots of it), bell pepper, spinach, and fresh tomatoes over a croissant. I've never had a Benedict over a croissant as I prefer a heartier bread like toasted sourdough or an English muffin since the veggies made the croissant mushy. The side choices are potatoes, fruit or grits. While I don't get grits, I was really hoping I'd get yummy crispy potatoes. They were a mush mess that tasted like they boiled it with herbs and over salted it. If I were to get it again, I'd ask for a different bread, hold the veggies but keep the spinach, and choose a fruit side.
Green Blast Juice: A
A fresh blend of kale, spinach, carrot, lime, ginger, apple. It's refreshing, still semi sweet, with all the healthy benefits of veggies.
Staff/Environment: A
Server was friendly, staff were friendly and made sure our water glasses were filled, and it was a cozy local spot that felt like it was in a small town rather than in the middle of downtown.
