I happened upon Two Enlighten when I was searching for dining room chairs. I found a very special set from outside the country that a few dealers had listed online and thus had to make a decision who to work with. Most of the onsite dealers where fine but I really wanted to work with brick and mortar, a real store with a human being that would stand behind their business, that I could put my trust in and support small business. I'm SO incredibly delighted that I chose Two Enlighten. If I could give my DNA to verify this review I would. I had to wait for over 4 months to get my chairs, but we knew this was the case from the onset. The owner gave me periodic updates and didn't mind it when I checked in every so often to see where my chairs were. He was never bothered. They were a delight to work with! I was walking in my neighborhood one evening and found myself standing in front of a small storefront with some of the most amazing modern lighting. After peering into the interior for a few minutes, I came back a few days later after making a phone appointment with the owner, a very nice guy named John. I had been looking for a pair of wall sconces for a couple of years, and hadn’t found anything in my search I really liked. After discussing my wants with John, he showed me a number of selections that filled the bill. He was quite knowledgeable about historical mid century lights, as well as recently manufactured reproductions, and I walked out of there with my sconces. I would recommend Two Enlighten to anyone looking for modern lighting.

I needed a replacement part from Skagerak and they directed me to a couple resellers in California. Only Two Enlighten was able to quickly respond and help me with the part. It was sent quickly and the Two Enlighten team checked in on progress every step of the way. Outstanding service! Now I look forward to stopping by their showroom and ordering again.

I purchased a chandelier from John the owner and I had a 5 star experience. His products are unique and John is extremely knowledgable. Two Enlighten is located in Glendale, its is worth the trip.

When I was doing research for my new place, I wanted pieces of light that would stand out. Luckily I ran into John, and he was extremely helpful. He was able to help me find the perfect floor lamps that went with furniture from my grandparents. I really enjoyed talking with him, and he had a wide selection.

I am a serious collector of lighting. It is one of the most important elements of any home. When I came across this shop in the hamlet of Montrose I was blown away. Here, tucked beneath the Verdugo mountains, was a shop that had amazing pieces and an amazing proprietor. John is a walking Wiki of lighting. He knows his stuff and is happy to share his love and vast knowledge with anyone that walks in the shop. After several visits I purchased two amazing mid century lights and my girlfriend surprised me with another amazing piece. The other remarkable thing about John is the pricing. His prices are fair and even on the lower end of the scale. You can be assured that you are getting quality at a decent price. Run, don't walk to this gem of a store. And then walk thru Montrose and pretend it is 1955.

John was really helpful and resourceful in helping me track down lighting options. His shop has some really beautiful vintage items - it's a fun place to browse, and the man definitely knows his lighting.

Purchased expensive pendant and had to have it rewired at added cost due to European wiring several months ago...owner never returned call...would not go back

I first contacted Two Enlighten because they had five Sergio Mazza lights listed on their site. I needed 12. The owner, John Ballon worked with me in order to locate the other seven in Europe. I needed 10 of the lights to be dipped in brass. John arranged to have this done with a local source he uses in LA. He dipped the first one and sent it to me for approval - it was perfect. He dipped the remaining lights and then shipped all 12 to me in NYC in perfect condition. He was honest, trustworthy and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him.
