Two Guns Espresso

A unique experience: excellent coffee with baristas who were NOT snobby! Genuinely seemed passionate about coffee and the process and was so happy to share and help us learn. We went on Saturday morning and there was a DJ who offered some nice music and sips of non-alcoholic bubbly. No seating inside. Limited searing outside. Only negative was there are only disposable cup options.

This is an okay coffee spot. My cappuccino was super small and not filled up very much. They don’t have any kid options here. There really isn’t space to sit or anything like that other than outside by the road. They do have a walk up window to pick up to go orders. It’s walking distance to other shops and the beach. They have interesting things to buy and look at while you wait for your coffee.

I grabbed myself a vanilla latte iced and it was actually pretty good stuff. The shop is a bit hard to see because its kinda small so look twice, its there! The place is clean and has a good variety of coffee's to choose from and also other merchandise is available for sale. A tad bit pricey i paid $6 for a medium. Great choice!

Good coffee in Manhattan beach. The ocean is just a few blocks away. Chai latte is also great. Only downside is that they don’t accept cash, and for a cup of coffee that would be a nice option to have! Also, when they add sugar to your coffee…ask them to stir it vs just dump it in. VictorB

Excellent coffee, great location in Manhattan Beach, and even the food offered is tasty. Their flat white is the best. This year I got beans from here to give to friends for Christmas and that’s been a huge hit. The baristas are great, super friendly, and make great coffee. I’m a happy customer and will definitely be back for more!

Two Guns barrista knew how to make cappuccino the right way. Her skill brought out the full aroma of the excellent coffee beans. Update on a later visit: Different barista on this Monday morning. Equally skilled at making a great cappuccino. En par with baristas at SideCar in SM and Blue Bottle Coffee in Playa Vista. Update on 3/5/2020 The taste of the cappuccino at Two Guns on Highland has changed; and not in a good way. I first noticed it on 3/2 and then again today

Kaboom! Walked in for some morning espresso to fuel the Lambeau has better brats mission. Walked out with espresso and a birria breakfast burrito! Ryan made my day with world class convo and energy.

Their espresso/ cappuccino tastes poorly. Sadly over extracted and poor quality. The outdoor vibe is alright.

Loved how safe I felt here being a person of color, compared to the rest of the neighborhood

Delicious Smoked Salmon Bagel that I wanted more of and started me off to a bagel weekend! My bff and I really loved it! We ordered the same thing. This is a cute place that is super busy. Outdoor seating. The employees can be a bit nicer with better customer service skills hence the 3 stars. Asked for a napkin and they never came back with any. Also some attitude at the register with the ordering process. I am talking about the cranky dude with the goatee and a lot of hair. Doesn't seem like he wants to be there. Even in the pic I took he seems so unhappy. Hope he's not the owner. Maybe he wasn't having a good day but come on it's the 4th of July. Get some happy people with better vibe in and that place will thrive.

Normally, I don't like breakfast burritos, but I saw the picture of their breakfast burrito on the screen and decided to get one. Well, it was the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. Their coffee is also very very good and the staff is incredibly nice so please skip your Starbucks visit and help small businesses like this to survive. 10/10!

Fun little spot to grab a coffee on the go! Super nice staff, and plenty of options for coffee, espresso, or grab a cold drink from the fridge!

Our orders were lukewarm, not sure if we need to asked for them to be hot. Staff were very friendly.

Eight dollars for a tepid mocha. Asked to have it warmed up, microwave? But they don't have one or ?? They offered to remake it (thanks but there's a line of customers and I'm not going to be that guy). No microwave? Guys at these prices it should be right the first time.

I LOVE the Frozen Bullet .... Soooooo good! They ran out of mint once and I thought it wouldn't be as good, but it was still yummy! I like the soft serve option. However the packaging is interesting since it's in a pouch that looks like toddler food. It's obviously the best packaging because it's ideal for what it's for and not messy.

Excellent coffee, delicious pastries, and incredible people. Highly recommend Two Guns Espresso!

My go-to spot for a flat white coffee. Service is prompt. This is a small cozy place so you would want to pick up and go.

Really enjoyed giving Two Guns a go recently. I wasn't sure how many options there would be, or which would be the best as far as coffee was concerned around town, but I happened to stumble upon this place and was pleasantly surprised. I was only inside for about a minute because as soon as I ordered the latte was ready, but it tasted great, the vibes inside were super cool, and the barista was really friendly. And when I got back to my friends they asked where I had gotten my coffee, and before I answered they asked if it was from Two Guns and I said yes, so obviously they have a great reputation without me knowing about it. Stumble upon it and give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

The only thing I'm kinda bummed about is that there is no place to sit at this location. There was a small cute outdoor sitting area, but I wasn't sure if that was part of the cafe. I do like the concept though (orders are placed on the exterior counter), it's just that I was hoping to chill at a coffee shop since we accidentally checked out of the hotel too early. The silver lining is that I got to explore the area and look at the beautiful houses while I walked around with my drink. I wasn't really intrigued by their coffee options - it's meant for more serious coffee drinkers...like my bf. Good thing they have interesting tea options. I ended up ordering their blue tea latte and it did not disappoint. Super friendly customer service here! Would recommend to stop by if you're in this area.

This one is a personal experience. Over half a year to be EXACT. Even when the burritos are FREE because they get thrown out at the end of the day, they are NOT worth what these white folks are paying for in this area. One bite you'll be eating just egg, the next just cheese and the next just veggies...why isn't it all mixed together like a burrito SHOULD be. Do not get me started with their bite size chocolate chip cookies. Bite sized for the price they charge, I'd understand if it was the BEST cookie ever but this cookie my 5 year old niece can bake. Service is great, I suppose, but how are the employees being treated behind the smiles? NOT so great. My husband worked here, was full time at the beginning, sometimes going days WITHOUT a BREAK because of them being short staffed, sometimes working plus 6 days WITHOUT a break in between, having to go to another shop sometimes. Working in EXTREME hot conditions without an AC during these summer days, with the machines running and Stans pizza invention, you can only imagine how HOT it gets in there, they get DIRECT sunlight. When an owner is willing to yell EXPLICITLY to their employees when their parents do not yell at them at all, tells you what kind of business this is. It's a white corrupt business from every angle. This is a new era, VOICES MATTER, this business is choosing profit over humanity, take care of your employees and they'll take care of YOU. It's been a pattern with coffee shops around the city, they EXPLOIT their good workers and give the crappy ones the hours, ones that do not clean very well. Ask for your dishes to be clean before your coffee next time...

I stopped by Two Guns Espresso for a Cafe Au Lait with almond milk after a run on the strand and picked up a bottle of water and a coffee for my sister as well.  This was my first time there but won't be my last. Service was friendly and attentive and the coffee tasted good and gave me a boost to work through the morning. TGE is a small storefront but offers a decent selection of coffee drinks hot and cold as well as other beverages ie: juices, etc... There is a little sitting / waiting area outside with a window where they deliver your drinks or fill online orders. If you're in the area and looking for quality coffee, Two Guns delivers!

Coffee is overpriced and not very good and it's such a long wait every time. There is only one person working and they make each coffee before taking the next order.

I came on a Sunday morning just when they opened and they had the friendliest staff. Thank you for starting my Moms and my day just right! :)

After a nice jog on the strand, I enjoyed my vanilla latte with coconut milk + quesadilla salvadoreña. I honestly bought this pastry expecting it to be bland and dry but it was greasy and flavorful like the ones from some of my dad's favorite panaderías - wonder where they source it! It's legit! Forgot my wallet in my cat and the baristas were super kind to offer I take my coffee with me and come back to pay later (I ended up paying with Apple Pay but they were ever so trusting of me lol.)

The best coffee spot in the South Bay! One reason this is the BEST is because of the staff that work there. Ryan, Edgar, Kayla, Kristin, Freya... I am missing some but they are all wonderful... friendly and they go above to beyond to insure a delicious coffee... Thanks so much :)

Don't let this small coffee shop fool you; the coffee at this location is simply amazing. I tried the Iced Chagaccino (in a small cup since I didn't want too much) and was pleasantly surprised at how delightful it tasted. The staff at this coffee shop are lively and extremely cordial, making me feel instantly welcomed. If you're on a quick coffee run, definitely stop by Two Guns Espresso. I know I'll be back!

Dear Yelp Community, Passed by with my vehicle, and finally one day stopped to enjoy a coffee. Small, yet nice to have the outdoor counter to stand and enjoy a drink on a nice street with good food traffic in a beautiful beachside neighborhood. Perhaps more seating would be a plus. Sincerely, Anna

I've been to a Two Guns location elsewhere so stopped by this one when I was in the area and going to the beach. This is a small shop, they do have a couple benches outside but it's mostly a pick up and go type joint. I asked the baristas what drinks they're known for and asked for help in figuring out what to order and they weren't very friendly, kind of stand offish which left a sour taste in my mouth. I got an iced latte with milkadamia and honestly this is the saddest iced latte I've had in a while. I don't even taste the espresso... I feel like that's common with matcha drinks (the milk can overpower the matcha flavor) but to not even taste the espresso in an iced latte? That's not great. Tastes kind of watered down. Don't understand the hype.

This is a nice little coffee shop in Manhattan Beach. They have a wide selection of coffee drinks and a convenient walk up bar for mobile orders. I get a regular latte and it's always spot on. The shop is clean and parking is on the street, so depending on the time of day, parking may be a challenge. The only suggestion I have in the way of customer service is when you have people standing outside waiting for their coffee, it would be a nice touch to call out the name on the order, instead of just placing the coffee on the outside bar and walking away.

Two guns is one of our two go-to coffee shops when my husband and I visit our daughter in Manhattan Beach. It's a stone's throw from the strand, which is awesome. Even more awesome is their espresso. I love their hemp and oat milk lattes, but I usually opt for the hemp since it's harder to find places that serve it. I've been there many times and never once have I had a bad latte. I typically order through their app, which is great, but when I go in the store, the baristas are always kind and welcoming. Please open a Two Guns in Santa Clarita! We really need great coffee options there and Two Guns would do awesome.

I love this place and next to Greenyogi where I practice yoga. I ordered matcha latte with almond milk and vegan donut. It was $3.50 for one donut. I know it's vegan but way overpriced!!! Taste was so good though. Matcha latte was good but not super. I feel a bit less matcha. I hope they stay business for long time. I will go when I go to yoga.

I own a business down the street and walk to TGNM near daily. Not only do they make me *my* drink practically before I walk in the door, but Melissa & Eric treat me and my dog, Doc, like gold. They are always so warm & make the day better for us every time they are the baristas when we come in. They have earned our loyalty in the neighborhood for our daily cup of joy.

Two Guns in El Porto is a complete gem. I've been coming here for the past 2 years since I moved here, and they remained open during the early stages of the pandemic with an option to pre-order on their app, and a pick up window. I highly recommend downloading the Two Guns app, as you can still earn rewards on it and place your order in advance without having to stand in line. The staff is always so incredibly friendly, even amongst COVID, and their coffee is delicious. They often have specials where all of their beans are $10 a bag, which is a steal for the quality. My favorites beverages include their iced matcha and vanilla lattes. Their overnight oats are great as well and the perfect to-go breakfast.

Quality you taste when you take your first sip. This tiny coffee house is very popular among the locals. There's a few seats and two benches outside where you can sit down to enjoy your coffee. No obnoxious lap top customers hogging up space hang out here.

I have purchased a few coffee here , let me say. The coffee is alway bland. I ask for it extra sweet this last time and it still had no flavor. Chai latte was like I was drinking hot water with a pinch of chai. Gave it my last shot because the workers are always sweet and the ambience is chill but the coffee doesn't stand out

Review is for terrible customer service. Food is ok but nothing very special. Lots of better coffee shops in the neighborhood. So placed an order using their app. Order was confirmed, headed to the store to pick up, two of the three items I ordered weren't available. The store did not have the courtesy to inform me about this. I found out 10 minutes later when I showed up to pick up the order. Yes, I wasted 10 minutes driving from N. Hermosa to N. Manhattan. I tried calling the store and the phone listed on the app is for a different location. I asked for the corporate phone number, they did not answer and the mailbox is full so can't leave a message. Wrote to them on both FB and IG, and I can see my message was read; however never received an acknowledgment nor an apology from the store manager nor the owner. I just unfollowed them on social media and deleted the app. They don't deserve my pennies.

I live around the corner and ever since Julia started working here the service has really improved. I really appreciate her willingness to help a customer and ensure that they are happy.

I love coming to this location. I mostly order ahead and come to pick up. Even though there is no parking lot, it's not hard to find street parking. Staff is always friendly at all of their locations. Flat white always comes out perfectly hot and flavorful. I never have to add any sweetener to it.

The people over to two guns never fail to get my morning started right. they make my order of coffee almost every morning and it's the best every time it never fails. The people today on 12/31/23 deserve a raise

Below average service on multiple different visits. I'm not willing to patronize a place where I feel like I'm bothering the people working there.

This place is just great. Delicious coffee, fast service, down to earth attitude. It's my regular thing to grab their chagaccino with hemp milk and catch up with the lovely barista boys and girls to see how their day is going. What an adaptable business too, given all this quarantine craziness.

From the moment you walk in the door the aroma from the coffee beans wakes you up. We went in the grab a quick cup of Joe after eating Mexican food at Pancho's. Coffee was definitely needed on this cold day and walk on the beach.

I've visited all of the Two Guns locations and this one is by far my favorite one. You have the option of ordering ahead of time and picking up your favorite cup of joe as you walk by or you can order inside the store (but wait outside) due to COVID .. which I thinks is such a great idea. All the drinks are great my favorites are the mocha latte with oat milk and the Blazedell special... being a long time customer I just wanted to try something new, so I asked the kind young lady (Blazedell) if she had any recommendations and she created a marvelous drink ( oat milk latte with half pump of vanilla & raw sugar) DELICIOUS!! Aside from the drinks being great the food is also delicious.. I had a brisket breakfast burrito (they make all of their food at their home coffee shop) lastly, the staff and management at the store are phenomenal! Keep up the great work

The smallest, trendy coffee shop in the neighborhood. Besides the hipster appearance, the coffee is delicious, as are the pastries. I will definitely be returning to this coffee spot when in Manhattan.

Stopped here to meet a friend before work. Grabbed a black dark roast coffee and it was really tasty! Nice bold brew that came out hot. Also got a gluten free corn muffin that was quite good and moist! The location is also great because you can walk down a few blocks and then walk with an ocean view. Great spot and definitely recommend :)

Call me biased but I love Two Guns. I am a regular at the other MB location and I think they make the best almond milk cappuccino. I stopped by this location after a long morning walk with a friend. I was so happy to see how charming it was inside and I found it welcoming. The cashier and barista were all smiles and friendly. My drink was hot and delicious, per the usual. Thanks Two Guns, I love you.

Hands down-BEST COFFEE. Not sure how they do it but it's absolutely delicious! Addicted to their iced latte w/almond milk + iced chai latte w/oat milk. You can't go wrong with a thing on their menu. Treats are just as good. Love the surprise in savory croissant of the day. Super plus is they have mobile ordering. You don't have to go inside. They place on a little counter ledge to swoop up on the go. Treat yo self and go!

Good quality coffee. Tried the brisket burrito which tasted AMAZING. Super friendly and helpful staff. Gave me recommendations on what to order. The cafe itself was socially distanced and everyone was wearing masks. Overall I had a wonderful experience. Will definitely be visiting again.

Good coffee. Not really the cheapest but okay it's Manhattan Beach. Please do not try to convince a whole milk drinker with macadamia milk. It's really not the same. I hope the whole milk is at least sustainably sourced and is organic.

Good latte, bad service. The girl who brought my latte out with her hand all over the sipping lid and when I asked for a straw she replied in a curt manner saying they don't have straws. How does your establishment not carry paper straws or at least compostable ones in this day and age? If you're not going to carry straws then don't put your hands all over the sipping lid where I put my mouth on. Thanks. I unfortunately forgot to bring my own stainless steel straws out with me today.
