Korean Corn Dog Chain Two Hands Opens New Restaurant in Round Rock | Eater Austin

"A national Korean corn dog chain opened its first Austin-area location last fall in Round Rock at 201 University Oaks Boulevard, Suite 540. The outlet, delayed from an originally planned summer 2023 opening, began service on October 6, 2023, and operates daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. It specializes in Korean-style corn dogs—battered franks deep-fried on a stick—with many variations: a seasoned classic served with ranch; cheese-filled links; potato-coated, spicy, rice-puff–crusted, bean-powder–topped, and American-style versions; vegan mozzarella and sausage options; and mix-and-match box sets. The menu also includes a wide selection of boba drinks and slushes, as well as fries and sodas. The brand started in Los Angeles in 2019 and has locations across several states, including multiple shops in Dallas and Houston, and is unrelated to an Australian café of the same name that has an Austin presence." - Nadia Chaudhury

Good God how did I not know this was right around the corner for me all of this time??? Dirty fries were amazing and the corn dogs I got two different types were unbelievably good. Mouth watering absolutely delicious. This is exactly what I imagined and remembered from my childhood going to fairs and getting a fresh killer corn dog. Do the world a favor and support this location. I kind of crushed the Box getting into my car I got five parking spaces away and immediately pulled over and started eating it's nice to get food that represents the photos selling it absolutely delicious

Two hands is an interesting corn dog restaurant. You pick the crust, and then you pick the kind of hotdog or cheese in the middle. They have sausage, vegetarian hotdog, cheese, and spicy sausage. I prefer the normal sausage and the crusts are all interesting. The potato crust is really interesting, it is very thick so it’s a little overwhelming and all the potatoes make you want to eat it with ketchup like it’s french fries. There’s only a couple of tables inside and a couple more outside so there’s not a ton of space for sitting.

We had the potato dog, classic, spicy and kimchi fries. The kimchi fries were so good and super crispy, probably the best fries I’ve had in a long time.

Theyre so friendly, great service. The corn dogs are a good price and have great taste. I loved the potato dog and spicy dog. Much better than the ones I tried at the mall

Came in today and ordered one number five American corn dog with mustard. I guess there’s some people over the age of 10 to eat ketchup on corn dogs, but I’m not one of them. Got it all the way home open the box and discovered it slathered with ketchup. What a disappointment. This is exactly why I do not tip Quick service restaurant workers before I try what they gave me. Very disappointing. I found the corn dog sausage to just be OK and the batter way too thick for my taste. In my humble opinion, the sonic corn dogs are much better. I’ll stick with what I know next time. I’ll be at Karen for a minute. Maybe if the music wasn’t so loud inside there the person at the register could actually understand what I’m trying to tell her.

Two Hands has amazing authentic Korean style hot dogs. I got the class dog and my wife got the potato dog. The service was amazing and they were so friendly. Restaurant is very clean as well!

Worth trying out if the idea interests you! (for me it was a one time novelty: glad I tried it but it’s likely not the thing for me). Order using the screen (but you don’t get a ticket or order number, so no guess how long it might take). The staff of two was very busy with many DoorDash/UberEats orders so service took a few minutes but it was as fast as they could go. Service was polite and friendly! There are 3 small tables with seats inside, with an overall cute but busy vibe. The corn dog was fun to try but just OK in taste: you choose the coating and the filling. I got one with half mozzarella half cheddar and the Two Hands coating. The coating could have used stronger seasoning and more of the Two Hands sauce IMO, because the thick starchy layer under the coating (and over the filling) had no flavor at all, and was the predominant taste. The second corndog we got was similar, just with full mozzarella instead. When we got our order, they told us which was which but there was no sticker/text on the box to identify between the two fillings.

We went up to visit Ikea and stopped by at this new corn dog place in Round Rock. The place was new and clean. The owner and the employees were very friendly. There were so many options and flavors we could choose from so we decided to get this 5 piece mega box. The corn dogs were crunchy on the outside, fluffy and hot inside. They also put a generous amount of sauce and toppings on top as well as on the side. The cheese pull was amazing! I’m glad we got this box deal since two adults devoured the whole thing in one sitting as soon as we got in the car. It was a fun experience and we are definitely coming back here another time! Thank you!
